We visited so many venues before deciding on the Westin. The rooftop was an easy sell for cocktail hour, as well as the gorgeous ballroom space. They also had insanely great room rates for guests. But the biggest sell and the main reason we chose the Westin was their wedding coordinate Lauren. From the second we met with her we knew it was the right place. She’s so incredibly organized and goes out of her way to make sure your day is everything you could want. She worked with us on every aspect of the reception to make sure we had every food, beverage, detail we wanted. Emails and calls were answered immediately. She honestly made the planning as stress free as I could ask. The service was also fantastic the entire stay. Couldn’t say enough good things about the entire wedding planning process and delivery of this venue. Loved it!

We held my daughter's wedding reception at The Westin Sarasota on October 21, 2017. Her original wedding venue canceled on us twelve days before the wedding, and Alexandra Settlemyer and the Westin staff came to our rescue! Everyone went over and above to make my daughter's wedding day extra special. Bryan Niemcewicz, the Banquet Manager made sure the banquet room was set up perfectly for the reception. Suraj Lama, our Banquet Captain, made sure the entire night ran smoothly, and Craig MacAvoy, the Executive Chef, created a meal that all our guests agree was delicious! The reception ran smoothly with plenty of servers taking care of everyone's needs. They were all friendly and very accommodating. Not only was the reception amazing, the staff treated all our guests like royalty. We had 20 rooms blocked for the wedding and heard only positive comments from all. The rooms are beautiful. Our room had an amazing view of the ocean! The bride and groom were treated like royalty during their stay in the Presidential Suite! After the reception, all our guests were able to enjoy the amazing views from the Rooftop Bar. The Westin Sarasota was an amazing wedding venue, and I highly recommend this hotel to others.
