The Westin St. Louis is located in the lively heart of St. Louis, MO. This modern Marriott hotel features up-to-date facilities, located within historic Cupples Station, for the perfect blend of elegance and charm. Original wood beams and exposed white-washed brick reflect the history of the hotel, while the wood floors in the Promenade Foyer and modern lighting make the space feel like anything but a hotel ballroom. But with being located within a hotel, you and your guests will have the convenience of guest rooms just an elevator ride away. Our large, spacious guest rooms feature 9' ceilings and are on average about 550 sq. ft. The guest rooms were renovated in 2019, with finishing touches that accent the beauty of the facility. While the guest rooms are perfect to make your guests feel at home, our suites are what will really impress you. Providing enough space for you to get ready with a dozen of your closest friends in the bridal party on the morning of the wedding, our suites feature about 900 sq. ft. of space, a living room & dining room, and 1.5 bathrooms (yes, there are two bathrooms!). The convenience and ease of having everything in one location will make your weekend simple and care-free. We offer options for rehearsal dinners, food delivery (and bloody mary's/mimosas!) to your room while you get ready, farewell brunches, and any other event that you can imagine wanting on your wedding weekend. Megan was our initial wedding coordinator, and we would go weeks without responses to important questions. Even missed a 0% interest offer on my credit card because I reached out to make a large payment, and she took over a month to get back to me. Mona took over as our coordinator closer to the day-of and although she was much better, no light could shine bright enough to make up for the 12 months of sitting in the dark waiting for responses. We never received our free night in the honeymoon suite, and for some reason my mother-in-law was upgraded to the honeymoon suite for the entirety of her stay at no extra cost? Crazy that her room was 10x nicer than ours.The banquet staff dropped the ball on several important details, but they had a positive attitude and made sure our guests were taken care of. The steak was worth the upgrade! The food, location and positive staff are the reason for my 3 stars. Knowing what I know now, I wish I would have booked a different venue for the price paid.

All of our guests raved about The Westin - from the cleanliness and size of the rooms to the hospitality and kindness of the front desk employees. I'm so happy we chose to house our wedding guests here. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner here and it was PHENOMENAL. The staff is so helpful and kind, the room was beautiful, and the food was great! Special shout out to Megan - she answered all of my emails and questions timely and was SUCH an instrumental part in pulling off this event.

We hosted all of the out of town wedding party, family, and guests at the Westin, and they were uniformly complimentary of the hotel and their rooms. The morning-after farewell brunch in a private room was terrific. The best part of the Westin was the staff, who were all extremely friendly and helpful.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding reception! First, the venue was absolutely gorgeous. We loved that the cocktail area and the dinner area were separate. The dance floor easily fit most of our guests.Second, the food was great. We got a ton of compliments on it. Everyone's food came out hot and delicious.Third, the service was wonderful. We were shocked by how fast the food came out and how quickly the guests were served at the bar. And finally, Cassi was absolutely exceptional. She made sure the whole planning process was stress-free. We had a few specific things that we wanted, and Cassi made it happen. She responded quickly to any questions we had and truly cared that we had a great experience. We would recommend The Westin (and especially Cassi) to anyone!

I can't say enough good things about The Westin. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect, and it was! We had both our ceremony and reception at The Westin and it was so seamless and easy for our guests to go to one ballroom to the cocktail hour to the Promenade for reception. Cassi arranged everything perfectly and there is no place we would have rather used, they made sure all the small and big details were taken care of and we highly recommend them!

From coordinating our vendors to room flips to advising us about picture locations, there is no one I could recommend higher than this amazing group for a beautiful wedding or reception! I do not have a bad word to say about this venue or the people that we worked with. The staff was incredible and the ballroom was gorgeous. The food was absolutely amazing - we got so many compliments on it and we enjoyed every bit of it. The wedding coordinator, Cassi, is absolutely phenomenal. She made sure every detail was taken care of and made my life so easy as the wedding day approached. There are not enough words of praise to commend her for everything she did. She made our day unique and special and made sure everyone had an incredible time. She is a huge reason why our day was as incredible as it was!

our wedding at The Westin was honestly perfect. from the venue, THE FOOD, the catering staff and of course Cassi. I met Cassi about 4 months before our wedding date and was extremely nervous having a different coordinator at the end of the process but she made everything so easy. she was easy to trust, she understood my vision, was so easy to get along with and get ahold of, and didn't mind my 500 emails because I always forgot to include something. The day of the wedding was effortless. From the morning of, she stayed in communication with me. Dealt with the parking issues due to two concerts being at Busch Stadium that weekend, came up to the suite to physically check on all of us, and even brought snacks! I really don't have anything negative to say about our experience which I know is extremely rare for a bride to say. so a HUGE thank you to Cassi and the staff at The Westin. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing!

Our son's wedding was June 23, 2018, at the Westin and everything was impeccable. From the moment we met with them we knew that this was the perfect venue. The ballroom is beautiful, and the staff is extremely accommodating. Every question was answered clearly and every request was met. Cassi took over as wedding coordinator a month before, and she jumped right in without missing a beat. The food was presented and served fresh and hot in a timely manner, just as promised at the tasting. The staff was attentive to the guests and everyone was taken care of. The Westin provided the dream wedding that we had hoped they would. Fabulous!!

We had our wedding at The Westin and it was truly a dream!! We had 138 guests, which I think was a perfect fit in the ballroom. The food was amazing!!! Every individual working at The Westin was not only professional, but a joy to wok with. We had a significant number of out of town guests, so holding the reception at the hotel worked out perfectly. All our guests LOVED the hotel. It is clean, in a great location, and has a magnificent staff. We highly recommend holding a wedding reception there!

We worked with Megan at the Westin and we had an excellent experience! She was responsive, accommodating, personable, and SO SWEET! She was a joy to work with and helped make our wedding exactly what we wanted! Everything went smoothly and we didn't have a worry in the world knowing she was on top of each and every detail! She helped with set up and she coordinated with all our vendors herself, so we barely lifted a finger. She helped make our day carefree!! The Westin itself is a beautiful place - right next to the ballpark, with a brick road out front that is great for pictures. It is in an awesome location and is clean, bright, modern, and can be decorated to any style! It worked great for our vintage romantic vibe!! Thanks again - you guys are fantastic!!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect at The Westin! It is such a wonderful location in downtown St. Louis. You even have a unique view of Busch Stadium in the Promenade Ballroom. The reception space itself is so warm and sophisticated with exposed brick and dark wood. Besides the aesthetic reasons to book The Westin for your special day, Megan Powell, the wedding coordinator goes above and beyond to accommodate your every want and need for your big day. Every call and email was promptly answered with solutions to any change of plan. The wedding day itself ran so smoothly because of Megan and the entire staff. As hectic as your wedding day will be, a supportive and responsible coordinator is a must! My husband and I couldn't have dreamed of a better wedding day. We received an abundance of compliments on our ceremony and reception space, the food, and the luxurious rooms for wedding guests! Have your wedding at the Westin for a beautiful and memorable location that will be run by only the most professional of staff!!! We still dream of reliving our day there!

The Westin is a beautiful venue! We had our ceremony and reception there and it was the most perfect day. The staff is so friendly and were patient with us through all the small details. Megan, the wedding coordinator, is organized, timely, and so kind! We were so thankful to have her on our team for our wedding day. The Westin also has the most amazing bridal suite. We had 10 girls getting ready there and we had plenty of room and tons of natural light. I am so thankful for The Westin and would recommend it to anyone!

A hotel was perfect for our wedding reception because we had a lot of out of town guests. However, we didn't want that \"banquet hall\" feel for our reception hall. The Westin's Promenade ballroom was perfect since it features unique window views of Busch Stadium, exposed brick and exposed ceiling (which if you're planning on any special lighting, this works perfectly) no florescent overhead bulbs here.Without going into a lot of detail, the space was great - but the wedding coordinating service was not. Conflicting messages, unpreparedness in meetings, extreme delays in follow-up, mixing up table numbers (so my parents were in the back of the room! - we fixed it, but still..) and quite a few other week-of and day-off slip ups and mishaps that were less than professional. We were accommodated with some complimentary services post-wedding to apologize for the inconveniences, so that was helpful. But in short, the space and venue are perfect if you need a hotel but don't want it to feel like a hotel, but the wedding coordinating services need to be improved upon.

After a long engagement and commitment to having our wedding at The Westin Saint Louis, my husband and I can say it's one of the best decisions we've made thus far. The venue is beautiful and unique. Our guests raved about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I'm sure that had a great deal to do with the staff and accommodations that The Westin provides. Megan was extremely helpful as our day-of coordinator. She was understanding of our needs and helped bring our vision to life. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to celebrate their wedding in style.

Our guests raved about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I'm sure that had a great deal to do with the staff and accommodations that The Westin provides. Megan was extremely helpful as our day-of coordinator. She was understanding of our needs and helped bring our vision to life. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to celebrate their wedding in style.

The Westin St. Louis is an excellent place to have your dream wedding, and Megan is absolutely incredible! We had our wedding in Nov 2016, and from the moment we saw the Promenade Ballroom, we knew it was our venue. It's a beautiful room, more than large enough for our 175 guests and a nice-sized dance floor, with lovely decor and an excellent view of the ballpark (much to the groom's delight). The linens and chairs and candles included were so nice, we didn't need to upgrade. And the packages they offer are of high quality for a really great value - you get much nicer, higher quality food options for your money than many other venues in the area. And being downtown near the ballpark made for such a lovely destination in the city - very St. Louis. The food was absolutely delicious - we got many compliments from guests about how great the food was! The service from the whole staff - from the folks at check-in to the valets to the servers at the reception, really everyone - was exceptional; it seemed like the whole staff was working to make sure our day was perfect. Even when we had a mishap and needed a little space to regroup, the staff, even though it wasn't their job to, acted quickly and compassionately and made this bride feel taken care of! Best of all was working with Megan. A consummate professional, she is so attentive, organized, detail-oriented and fun to work with; she helped me keep the joy in what can sometimes be a stressful process and keep my stress in check, because I knew she had everything under control, down to the smallest detail and she worked so well with all our vendors. I cannot thank the Westin enough for giving us a wedding reception full of beautiful memories!

The Westin was a great choice for a reception venue! Megan, the wedding coordinator was so great to work with and was amazing at handling all of my little emails. The food was wonderful and such a great variety to choose from. Our guests could not stop talking about the service and the rooms as well. We had our wedding over a Cards/Cubs weekend when downtown was crazy, but I wouldn't have noticed one bit because the service did not change at all! I am very glad that I chose the Westin!

This is easily one of the best venues in downtown STL. I wanted a venue that had it all for my guests: someone for them to stay, a room for the ceremony, a room for the reception, and nearby locations for the rehearsal dinner . Everything worked out perfect. Megan was so helpful from the beginning. We worked throughout the course of about a year to ensure this was the perfect wedding. The food was amazing and came out right on time. My husband had a special request for his food and Megan made it happen without any questions. We brought in our own dance floor and other items and Megan let us start setting up a few days before. This made the day of SO much easier. All of the workers were extremely nice, esp the valet. The drinks were fantastic and the venue space was large enough to support my 180 guests with ease. The rooms were all beautiful and all the guests enjoyed the hotel bar/amenities. We had our rehearsal dinner at Wheelhouse and it was a 2 min walk away which worked out great. Megan worked with us on getting a baby sitter for the night, hanging chandeliers over the dance floor, and creating our own signature cocktail. It was the little things that she helped with that made the wedding extra special. Megan was always timely with responses and just made everything perfect. I can't thank her and the Westin workers enough for an amazing night!

From the time my daughter and I walked into the Westin to look at the Promenade Ballroom as a possibility for her reception, we were INCREDIBLY impressed! The hotel and ballroom are a perfect blend of wood and stone with updated features throughout. And the view...STUNNING! We loved the venue, but the wedding coordinator, Megan, absolutely sealed the deal for us as she excitedly helped us plan every detail of the reception to be EXACTLY what my daughter wanted. She had as much fun as we did working out all the details from the popcorn bar...to the decorations...to the lemonade stand with assorted flavors (HIGHLY recommend...it was a hit with everyone)...to the Starbucks coffee at the end. She is simply FABULOUS! Even the photographer and videographer remarked how great Megan was.The rest of the staff is also incredible. The waiters were so attentive to everyone's needs, and Shell, who services the bridal table, was SUPERB!We had a lot of decor to load the next morning, and the staff helped in any way they could, NEVER complaining, load after load. They were super helpful with parking needs, as well.FInally, we had several rooms rented for the night. MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS EVER! And as part of the wedding package, the bride and room received a complimentary honeymoon night in one of their suites...WOW...and it looked out onto Busch Stadium.As you can see, we absolutely would choose the Westin again if we had to do it all over. You cannot go wrong with this beautiful hotel, staff and venue for one of the most important days of your life!

Everyone from the valet attendants, to the front desk personal, to the kitchen crew, and most of all to Megan Powell the ULTIMATE wedding planner...ALL were amazing! Megan took the time to meet with us whenever we had questions/concerns and she took it upon herself to make sure every little detail was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. We also were able to explain how we wanted the tables to be set and all we had to do was drop off all the decorations and she set the ENTIRE ballroom up exactly how we had imagined! The next morning my family and I woke up and noticed that she had cleaned everything up as well as put everything in boxes for us to load in the car and that was it! We could not have picked a more beautiful reception or a better wedding planner! NO COMPLAINTS!

Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and we know the majority of our amazing experience can be attributed to hosting it at the Westin St. Louis. The Westin coordinator, Megan Powell is not only one of the warmest and friendliest people you will meet, she also amazed us with her attention to detail and willingness to do just about anything to make the day go smoothly and ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. With Megan's help, we didn't need another event coordinator, she went above and beyond to help us plan and execute our big day. Megan was always quick to respond to any of our random questions, reminded us of key details and helped us plan all the specifics. She was also helpful in providing insight for making decisions and coordinating with each of our vendors outside of the Westin. Given her expertise and experience, we always trusted her advice. We can honestly say, nothing went wrong on our wedding day and I am sure it's because of Megan's help and her ability to manage any situations behind the scenes for us if anything did arise! The Westin ballroom is also a beautiful and modern space with warm wood tones and exposed brick - not a traditional over-the-top ballroom. For our day, it provided the perfect setting to make even our larger wedding feel romantic and intimate. The hotel also helped serve as home base for the weekend. Majority of our guests were out of town and even in town guests enjoyed being able to mingle Friday after our rehearsal at the Clark Street Grill and even continued the party there after the wedding reception Saturday. The food was also amazing with very generous portion sizes and a great selection of options to pick from and customize for our event. Overall, the hotel service was exceptional and we, along with our guests were all well taken care of. We can't recommend them enough!

The day of was flawless-Megan is incredibly organized and has a spread sheet of all the vendors. I did not have one worry the day of-other than running late for the first look.With the Westin, you get a bridal suite that is spacious and fun! We were able to have all the bridesmaid sleep together and get ready in it on the day of. I cannot say how perfect it was-- I hope that everyone gives the promenade a chance and consider it for your wedding space!

My daughterâs wedding reception in June at the Westin could not have been more perfect! For starters, we had over 25 rooms booked (most were locals just wanting the convenience of spending the night) and every guest was impressed by the size and luxury of the rooms, not to mention, the incredible staff. Check-in went perfectly and each guest received their goodie bag as planned.Now, regarding the reception and cocktail hour in the Promenade Ballroom and Foyer, everything from the setup, to the food, to the service, and flow of the evening was flawless. The Wedding Coordinator, Megan Powell, was a miracle worker making sure that every detail (and there were many) was perfectly executed. Megan worked tirelessly before the wedding to understand what I envisioned and when I walked into the ballroom I was blown away! The cocktail hour was so much fun with saxophone and piano (on the Westinâs grand piano) serenading us while we sipped signature cocktails and munched on incredible passed horâdoerves. After the guests were seated in the ballroom for the toasts and cake cutting, the food stations were opened. I had been a little nervous about how food stations would work but Megan assured me that everyone would love it, and they did! I cannot believe the number of guests who have since told me that the food was, by far, the best they had ever had at a wedding. The Westin worked with us on the menu making it a one of a kind experience which was absolutely incredible. This was no cookie cutter reception, it absolutely reflected the bride and groomâs personality, and their hopes and dreams for their wedding.The hotelâs staff could not have been more considerate, more conscientious or more genuinely happy to be part of our celebration. So many made an effort to greet me, extend their congratulations and best wishes, and I am forever grateful for their kindnesses. I highly recommend the Westin if you are planning a wedding in St. Louis. You will not be disappointed, in fact, as I look back, it was probably the best decision we made!Kate

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Westin this last November. Let me start by saying it was fabulous! Absolute perfection from beginning to end! The staff is phenomenal and incredibly accommodating. Their event coordinator, Shannon, is a dream to work with. She went above and beyond and made sure that our day was exactly what we envisioned it to be. I highly recommend this venue..you won't regret it!

The staff is phenomenal and incredibly accommodating. Their event coordinator, Shannon, is a dream to work with. Shannon and Heather at the Westin are truly a dream team. We had our wedding in the Cupples Room and our reception in the Promenade Ballroom and both could not have been more perfect. We knew she would be the best choice for helping to plan our day. Then, it turned out that Shannon was also getting married in November and had to turn our day of coordinating over to Heather. We were a little nervous because we had worked so much with Shannon but the transition was seamless. They were both wonderful and our big day went off without a hitch. Our guests loved the hotel and we were lucky enough to get the AMAZING presidential suite for our honeymoon suite. Overall, our wedding was the best day ever and much of that is due to The Westin, Shannon and Heather!

We had an amazing experience with Shannon and everyone else we dealt with at The Westin. The spaces were beautiful and modern and big enough for a 170 guests without being super crowded. Shannon made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. She was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and quick to respond to my many questions. She made our experience so wonderful and she was just so great to work with. The food was very tasty and they had a large variety of items to choose from. We LOVED our Westin wedding and would recommend it to anyone looking for a decently priced hotel wedding with a modern feel.

Amazing!! I just had my wedding reception here and it was gorgeous! Shannon was absolutely incredible! She catered to everything I wanted and needed. I could not have asked for a better coordinator! You will love her! The cocktail and reception areas are beautiful and the food is delicious with big portions! Servers are great as well. I very highly recommend checking it out! Tracey worked with us for setting up a wedding block for our wedding guests and was truly indispensable to our big day! While the wedding process can be extremely fluid and hectic, Tracey was sure to accommodate our every need and was extremely prompt in her responses. We got an incredible rate for being in downtown St. Louis and the rooms themselves were extraordinary; our guests couldn't stop raving about them! We booked a suite for the bridesmaids the morning-of and for our wedding night suite and it was breathtaking! The space was enormous and provided the perfect area for our large wedding party and truly provided the perfect nightcap for the perfect day. I don't even know where to begin with the compliments to The Westin and Heather Tipton for making our New Year's Eve wedding absolutely perfect down to the very last detail. Every single person at the Westin was phenomenal from the moment I made my first visit to look at the event space. Heather made this the most stress-free and fun planning experience, I truly loved working with her and already miss her! She honestly just made this happen beautifully, under our budget, and perfectly. She even helped us get connected with our fabulous photographer, Kara Proehl of Bright Shot Photography, and she also very kindly endured my lists and itinerary! The Westin simply employs the kindest, most helpful and conscientious staff of any hotel I have ever been to. When I was setting up my candy bar the day before the wedding, Jordan came to check on me and without even asking brought me a giant bottle of water. Our bartender, Orlando, completely rocked it at our ceremony. I kept hearing rave reviews about him throughout the night, only to learn later that it was his first night bartending because he had to fill in due to another employee being sick. He was utterly impressive! Every valet was fabulous and just fun, and totally took it in stride when covered with glitter from our centerpieces (Orlando!)! When we went to eat breakfast the morning after our wedding at Clark Street Grille, our waiter Rod surprised us with a complimentary breakfast, complete with mimosas and fries (after my months of no carbs!) The Westin just made this entire experience more perfect than even I envisioned, and I cannot be more grateful. I have had so many guests tell me that they want to go back to our wedding and do it all over again, which is a true testament to the Westin. I cannot imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. Thank you is simply not enough.

Do yourself a favor and book the Westin as your wedding venue. The best decision we made while planning our wedding was picking the beautiful Westin hotelâs Promenade ballroom as the location for our ceremony and reception. All of our guests âooed and âahhedâ at the modern beauty of the venue. The Westin and their wonderful team made our wedding planning and day as painless as possible, from the valet staff to the front desk- who took the time to learn our names and always offer a helping hand. Furthermore, we absolutely could not have had this wedding without the Westinâs catering manager and wedding guru, Heather Tipton. Planning a Kosher Jewish wedding in Saint Louis comes with its challenges. Additional rooms, special requests, cultural differences⊠Needless to say, a coordinator for the day was essential. Heather was so much more than the âcatering managerâ â she took care of everything for us â checked in regularly, answered calls and messages within minutes, coordinated with the outside Kosher caterer and his staff, made sure I had something to eat before the ceremony, and had the organizing skills and patience of a saint. Leading up to the wedding, we had nearly every opportunity for stress and mayhem, but Heather always had everything under control and took care of every last detail. My husband and I canât say enough regarding how impressed we are with Heatherâs professionalism, organization, kindness, and understanding to make our day personal to us. Planning my wedding from out of town was a breeze thanks to Heather! She was very helpful and flexible with meeting me the few times I was in town during my planning process and always had a quick answer to any of my questions either via email or phone call - communication is so important to every bride, but especially an out-of-town bride! \rI was completely worry-free the entire evening of my wedding and was able to have fun, dance the night away, and rest assure that my guests were having a wonderful time and receiving first class service. I also got many compliments from my out of town guests who stayed at the Westin that weekend -they were truly impressed with the accommodations and the level of service they received from the ease of booking rooms, check out on Sunday and every moment in between. Our families and friends are still talking about our wonderful day! Heather and the entire staff really went the extra mile!

I worked with Tracey to have a wedding block set up. She was absolutely fabulous to work with... We had to add rooms, add nights, etc., throughout, and she took care of everything. For example, I had guests who wanted to come a few days before the wedding - and couldn't book in the wedding block since the days weren't part of the block. Tracey took care of it and added those days, without me even knowing, so that guests could do so and receive the discounted rate. \rFurthermore, the discounted rate is generous - at a normal rate of ~$300/night, guests paid $129/night (plus taxes and parking). For our wedding night suite, we paid $250 since we had more than 10 rooms booked in our block. The room was beautiful and spacious - I wish we would've had more time to enjoy it!\rAfter the wedding weekend, there were a few things that needed to be taken care of with other guests' rooms, etc. - I simply emailed Tracey, explaining the situation, and she again took care of everything.\rGuests loved the rooms... And Tracey provided excellent service and peace of mind!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in June of this year. I have nothing but positive things to say about Heather and the Westin staff. We initially chose this venue because of the location of the hotel and the aesthetics of the Promenade ballroom. In my opinion, many hotel ballrooms all look the same, but the Westin's ballroom has a modern feel to it. I loved the brick interior as well as the cocktail hour room that is lined with windows. \r\rAfter choosing the Westin, planning the reception went seamlessly. Like many brides, I had many small details that I would worry about, however, there was never a need to. Heather would respond to my emails quickly and thoroughly and never gave me a reason to worry. \r\rThe tasting was also amazing- there were so many delicious options to choose from. It was difficult to narrow it down to just one!\r\rOnce the day finally arrived, everything went perfectly. The Westin staff pretty much took care of all the details. I dropped off miscellaneous decor items days prior and they placed them better than I ever could have. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I saw ballroom, it was everything I had wanted and more. \r\rAlso, the hotel rooms are incredible. Our out of town guests were impressed and the room block rate was very reasonable. \r\r\rOverall, the food was amazing, the room was beautiful, and the timeline went perfectly. The best decision we made was to have our ceremony and reception at the Westin Promenade Ballroom!! \r\rHeather Tipton â after we met Heather Tipton (wedding coordinator at the Westin), we were convinced Westin was the place we wanted to host our wedding and convinced that Heather would be able to deliver the quality of service the Westin promised (and she did!). Leading up to the wedding, Heather was quick to answer whatever lists of questions we had; was organized, patient and courteous; and provided a lot of expertise regarding the flow and special touches we wanted at our event. She was the glue that held everything together and really put us to ease with both our ceremony and reception being held at the Westin.\r\rThe Food â our guests couldnât stop raving about the amazing food the Westin cooked up! What was served during the taste test (which are FULL portions of what to expect during the wedding day), was exactly what was delivered on our special day. We didnât get to try the appetizers for our cocktail hour prior to the wedding but the Westin didnât disappoint. Appetizers and dinner portions were a good size, served warm and cooked exactly to what we expected. \r\rThe Westin â the hotel offered a great deal for our guests who were staying there, the bridal suite and the guest rooms were exceptional, the hotel as a whole was really clean and the staff were always professional. The Promenade Room was in a perfect location â 1st floor, tucked to the side of the hotel with its own foyer for a private cocktail hour. During our event, Heather (the staff) even moved all our gifts to the bridal suite and tucked away the cards safely so we didnât have to worry about it. Also, since there wasnât an event the following morning in the ballroom, the hotel locked up the room after the party was over and let us pick up the decorations whenever we were available the next day. \r\rThe Westin really over-delivered to what we were expecting, made it a stress-free night, and we absolutely appreciated all the professional care they provided us on our special day!\r

What was served during the taste test (which are FULL portions of what to expect during the wedding day), was exactly what was delivered on our special day. We didnât get to try the appetizers for our cocktail hour prior to the wedding but the Westin didnât disappoint. Appetizers and dinner portions were a good size, served warm and cooked exactly to what we expected. \r\rThe Westin â the hotel offered a great deal for our guests who were staying there, the bridal suite and the guest rooms were exceptional, the hotel as a whole was really clean and the staff were always professional. The Promenade Room was in a perfect location â 1st floor, tucked to the side of the hotel with its own foyer for a private cocktail hour. During our event, Heather (the staff) even moved all our gifts to the bridal suite and tucked away the cards safely so we didnât have to worry about it. Also, since there wasnât an event the following morning in the ballroom, the hotel locked up the room after the party was over and let us pick up the decorations whenever we were available the next day. \r\rThe Westin really over-delivered to what we were expecting, made it a stress-free night, and we absolutely appreciated all the professional care they provided us on our special day!\r

I used the Westin in Downtown St Louis for my wedding reception in June. Not only did they meet every expectation I had but they went above and beyond! The food was perfectly prepared, the room was gorgeous, and the service for my guests was phenomenal! I have received TONS of compliments! Heather was the coordinator for me and she made this process so easy for my husband and I. For the majority of the planning we were out of town; she was very easy to get in touch with and her responses were very quick. She made a process that can be stressful very easy and fun! On top of all of this, the venue is quite affordable for brides on a somewhat smaller budget. My husband and I got so much more than what we thought we could afford when starting to plan everything. All in all, this venue was Perfect! If I had to re-do everything for my wedding, I would choose The Westin again 100%!!

First let me start by saying that Heather Tipton, Catering Manager at The Westin St. Louis, was by far the most wonderful coordinator to work with! Not only did we have our reception here, but we also had rooms blocked off for our out-of-town wedding guests. The customer service that our friends and family received was exceptional! They still talk about how lovely this hotel was, how friendly the staff was, and how incredible Heather was that night; and we got married over a mon. ago! Back to Heather. Not only was she there the ENTIRE night, but she made sure that my husband and I were taken care of. She sent an extra meal, along with our wedding cake pieces/extra cupcakes AND chocolate covered strawberries to our room at the end of the night. She made sure we are on time with our schedule of things and she took care of any problem that night that may have happened. During the process of planning she was accommodating, helpful and understanding when it came to last minute changes or additions. I cannot recommend The Westin St. Louis anymore and that's simply because Heather made it so memorable, easy, and fun for us! Thank you so, so much!

My husband and I just got married and had our reception in The Promenade ballroom by Westin in downtown St. Louis. It was absolutely STUNNING!! We love everything about the Westin. From the wonderful service, scrumptious food, gorgeous honeymoon suite, and especially their amazing catering manager, Heather Tipton. She is a saint! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She made our wedding day spectacular and we are so grateful for all she did for us during our planning experience and on the day of our wedding. She took care of all the last minute details that would normally stress a bride out to make sure I did not have to worry about a thing and could enjoy my wedding day. I honestly don't know how our wedding could have turned out any better and I give all the credit to Heather and her amazing staff the the Westin. My family as well as other guests at our wedding constantly compliment how smoothly everything went and how unstressed and happy I was on our wedding day. That is all because of Heather! I will forever recommend The Promenade by Westin to anyone who asks me about reception venues in the future. If I had to do the whole process over again, I would not change a single thing! During the time we were planning our wedding, my fiancé and I moved to the UK and were planning a second reception in the UK. Needless to say, my stress level was at an all time high! Heather, the catering manager, made me feel comfortable knowing that the St. Louis reception was in good hands. She was so easy to work with and so flexible, given that most of our interactions had to through email or when I was in town. Our reception was beautiful. I love everything about The Westin!!!! I would recommend this venue to all my friends and family. The event coordinator there, Heather, was phenomenal. Many of my guests said they would get married there solely to work with her. She didn't miss a beat and I didn't have one worry on wedding day. The rest of the hotel staff was fabulous too. The bridal suite was HUGE and perfect for my bridal party and I to get ready in on wedding morning. The night before the wedding, my groom checked into his room and there were a few beers there waiting for him and his groomsmen with a personalized note saying to relax and enjoy himself. There were waters waiting for me and my bridesmaids so we could be fresh in the morning. On our wedding night, we had Imo's waiting in our room for us along with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and snack mix. The little details like those really impress me. The ballroom and cocktail hour room are already such unique spaces that we hardly decorated and everything looked great. If we could do it again, we would choose The Westin Promenade Ballroom a hundred times over.

The Westin St. Louis is where I had my guest room bloc and where my fiancee and I got ready the morning of the wedding. The rooms were stunning and made for some great pictures. My big complaint is that in the year I planned my wedding, there were 3 people in charge of my bloc and they all would tell me different things when I tried to arrange different things. The biggest hassle was the reservations line didn't seem to know what was going on with my bloc so for each of my guests who stayed, I had to call and double check that they were given the bloc rate for the entire stay, that they had the right sized beds, and that their welcome bag arrived. It was also a bummer that the rooms weren't next to each other. My guests were spread all over the hotel. The rooms were fabulous but it was a bit more hassle than what I expected from the Westin reputation.
