We had our wedding at the Westin on May 6th. We couldn’t have found a better place for our wedding. From start to finish, their high level of service and attention to our needs left Nothing to be desired. A special shout out to Qiana, Daniel, and Shelby for handling and coordinating our wedding. We started with a consultation to discuss what we were looking for at our wedding, and then tied out the options for food with Qiana. When we flew into town to try the food (amazing BTW), we also walked through the layout and timing. We had some changes to make, and the team was quick to incorporate them. We had our service outside on the sunstone terrace, which had great ambiance and was plenty big enough for our group. We loved having everything in one place. This allowed us to spend time with our guest and not having to worry about going anywhere else. Reviewed on 04-06-2023
Madison Browning(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-11-2022 Brides beware! This event space is very pretty and Qiana is good (the event coordinator) But you will also find that on your wedding that none of the moving parts of this hotel actually communicate with each other, you will be surprised at how bad it can get. Don’t host your event here. Take it from me and all the tears. At check in, I was expecting to check in a little early and communicated that I needed the early check in as my husband and I planned our rehearsal dinner here too. Upon my arrival at 2 pm I was told that my room was not ready until 5 pm. Which would have been great if I didn’t pay for a rehearsal dinner at 4. We were upgraded to a nicer suite and that was the delay. I was verbally accosted by Adriana who said I should be grateful, if I didn’t wait she would take the upgrade away, that I was not the only bride that weekend and to diminish me even farther the said that she had been married 4 times and it’s not a big deal. To add insult to injury this was in front of my bridal party. She sent a bottle of sparking wine to the room. But no bride should ever be told she is not special. The rehearsal was the best part, good food and good service. The day of not so wonderful. We paid for an open bar, and no one ever said shots could not be taken. When my husband asked for some, a bartender shot at us “you don’t want to be ugly, nasty, and disgusting on your wedding day” as it so happened we didn’t get to finish ANY of our drinks as the waitstaff removed glasses that were full. The next morning my family had breakfast in the lobby it took 45 minutes + to get any dish out; guests asked for bloody Mary’s at brunch but were told they did not have the ability to make one. It is still unclear why as the following day I got one no problem. As I said before we had two events here and Brittney in accounting was practically incompetent. She was unable to keep track of who was paying for what even though we made it clear. The grooms family did the rehearsal and the brides family the wedding. It was a struggle for her to keep the events separate for some reason. When was all said and done we were away on our honeymoon, Brittney emails to ask which card to charge, no invoice, no itemized list. So we ask for one. Turns out she over charged us for the bar. With the bar operating off of a head count with taxes, fees and gratuity; it added up. Then the final blow we ask for her to separate the invoice that she sent based on event. She messed it up yet again telling us the last payment was 4,500 (on a document titled FINAL INVOICE) so we pay it ready to move on from all this drama. But she sends my husband an email saying she made an error and we owe another payment even though she sent us a final invoice with the amount owed as the 4500. There is something not right about all the shiftiness. You will feel like you are inconveniencing the staff, and when things go wrong there will be no attempt at making it right just apologizing. You deserve more than that. Reviewed on 03-12-2022

David Richards(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-10-2021 Highly recommend this venue. Staff was professional, accommodating and delivered a first class location and experience. The wedding venue is within feet of the reception halls, which makes it very convenient. After the reception? Head up to the roof-top pool for the after party. I can’t imagine a more perfect wedding spot in Arizona. Reviewed on 30-06-2022
