Located in Ball Ground, GA, The Wheeler House is a rustic barn wedding venue. Bursting with Southern charm, this romantic setting is perfect for quaint countryside celebrations. It dates back to 1906 and was built by the owner of the Wheeler lumber yard with heart pine. Surrounded by century-old oak trees, this enchanting venue sets the scene for an unforgettable celebration. In 2010, The Wheeler House was purchased by Georgia native Lee Lusk. He restored the house for the first time since its inception and, in 2011, the property welcomed its first wedding. The barn, built from reclaimed wood, was added in 2012 and serves as the venue's main event space. The surrounding town of Ball Ground sits at the foot of the Appalachians, and is bursting with small-town charm. It offers various cafes and sights for you and your loved ones to enjoy after your wedding day. The Wheeler House has different event spaces across the grounds that you can use throughout your special day. A lush, draped arbor offers a picture-perfect setting for exchanging your vows. Then, you can make your way to a romantic reception with your new spouse. 14 eye-catching chandeliers illuminate the barn and the grounds, creating a romantic atmosphere. There were multiple times throughout the wedding day when my husband and I were truly in awe with what the Wheeler House did for us. We highly recommend this venue to couples looking for a stress-free wedding planning process.

I had the most magical wedding at the Wheeler House on October 7, 2023, and it was a dream come true. Ashley, our coordinator, made everything so easy and stress-free. The convenience of having most of the vendors provided by the venue made the planning a breeze.We rented the charming cottages for the weekend, which turned it into a memorable and fun experience with our wedding party. Getting ready at the Wheeler House was so relaxing, and the timing of the fall season was perfect. The setting was simply beautiful.Our wedding day was filled with joy, surrounded by our closest friends and family, and we danced the night away. I can't thank the Wheeler House and Ashley enough for making our day truly special. It was everything we had ever hoped for and more. Highly recommend this venue for anyone's special day!

We chose to have our wedding at TWH after one tour! The staff, the grounds, the included vendors, and our coordinator Emma Ray were all incredible!! Seriously not one issue! We highly recommend!

The Wheeler House was such an incredible venue for my wedding. The venue is gorgeous, the Wheeler House team is lovely, their partnering vendors were great, and they simplified the overall wedding planning process making everything way less stressful. Other than the obvious beautiful visual aspect of The Wheeler House and the barn, I decided to go with TWH because of the wedding package offered and the venue adjacent cottages that are available to rent for the wedding party. They serve as almost a one-stop shop which simplifies the wedding planning process greatly. When you sign-up with TWH, you are booking your venue, caterer, cake, DJ, and day-of wedding coordinator. You can also rest easy knowing that TWH does not choose their vendors lightly, they are all incredible. Every vendor is very experienced, knowledgeable, helpful, and will make sure their products/services are perfect for you. Since the wedding, we have received many texts and have been told by multiple people how beautiful and stunning the wedding and TWH were, and how truly amazing the food was. Also, I am so grateful for my day-of coordinator, Chelsea Beal. She was unbelievably helpful, sweet, and a leading calming force. Chelsea was able to respectfully command and direct the entire wedding party without being overbearing. She remained a calming force as to not allow myself (the bride) or the groom to stress. I would absolutely recommend The Wheeler House. FYI, The Wheeler House also makes a flawless background for your wedding pictures!!

It was hard to get in contact with anyone once the contract was signed. Also the location does not look like the website (downgrade, old, not as nice). The town Ball Ground is basically shut down Sunday and Monday which is not ideal for out of town guest who might stay after the wedding. Do not recommend.

We had our wedding at The Wheeler House on 7/1/23 and it was beyond perfect. All of my dreams and visions came true and it was absolutely beautiful. Our coordinator, Emma, went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing short of spectacular. We met with her twice before our wedding date and went over little and big details. We discussed things I would have never even thought about. For our rehearsal, she was very thorough with our whole wedding party about who needed to be where and when. On the day of our wedding, Emma and her team made sure each piece of decor was placed where it needed to go and no detail was left untouched. They did a phenomenal job of bribing my vision to life. Leading up to the ceremony and even during the reception, Emma made sure the day flowed smoothly by keeping track of the timeline and letting us know when we needed to do certain things. My husband and I keep talking about how perfect our day was and that we wish we could relive it over and over again. We are so glad we chose to have our wedding at The Wheeler House and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing!

We booked a year in advance and still had to move our rehearsal to the morning before the wedding. This was only an issue because we found out a month before and had bridal party members from South Carolina, south Florida, Alabama, and all over Georgia to accommodate. Our original day of coordinator switched without us knowing then our second one was very knew and kind of clueless. We were told it was an all inclusive venue with a day of coordinator but that’s just it they recommend vendors but you have to reach out to everyone one and pay each one separately except the catering is included. We met with the caterer 5x before finally deciding on decent tasting food and ended up actually loving the food more than the venue experience. Our coordinator acted confused when asked by bridesmaids about the simple things and couldn’t help them so they did a lot of it on their own. We did get the cottages for an additional charge and I’m thankful we did with 10 bridesmaids there’s no way we’d all be ready in 2hrs. Only getting the venue 2hrs before the ceremony made everything feel rushed. We enjoyed the day because you only get one wedding and made the best of it, but I wouldn’t recommend this venue without extensive research on exactly what you’re getting and asking for the most experienced coordinator.

Loved every moment of planning and wedding day because of the amazing people I worked with! They were so accommodating to me planning our wedding from PA! This venue provided different vibes on the same site so our pictures are going to have all different and beautiful backdrops! The bridal suite was plenty big enough for my 7 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl and myself to get ready in. We also rented the cottages that are offered. We housed our whole bridal party and their partners the night before and the night of our wedding. Overall it had an all-inclusive feeling and was perfect for my husband and I

I got married the Wheeler House in January and it was perfect! The only thing that went wrong is that it rained and of course the Wheeler House and our coordinator, Chelsea took the rainy day and showered me with the love and joy that every bride should have on their wedding day. From the moment we started talking to make prep for the big day, she was easy to contact and beyond helpful. Our day went off without a hitch and I can honestly say because of the Wheeler House's attention to detail and their connection with my husband and I throughout the process, the day went PERFECTLY!!!

Our wedding at the Wheeler House was an absolute dream come true. From the beginning, the staff at the Wheeler House were responsive, kind, and supportive in making our dreams a reality. They also partnered with and/or recommended several local, high-quality vendors too which made planning our wedding a breeze when we began looking for caterers, DJs, and decor rentals. The option to use the house as our getting-ready space was also incredibly convenient and made for great getting-ready shots. Our wedding coordinator Ashley was the cherry on top - she was SO organized, professional, and ready for any challenge we threw at her (even getting makeup stains out of a wedding dress). Thanks to her and the Wheeler House team, our day went off without a hitch! I highly recommend the Wheeler House!

This is a dream wedding venue! The pictures does not do this place justice! When you walk on the property it’s truly breath taking! My coordinator was Emma! She was truly amazing and went above and beyond to make our day special! Anytime I would call for questions whether Emma was available or not someone at the venue always tried to help or answer any questions I had. The wheeler house runs so smoothly and I can not recommend it enough!

If you're looking for a wedding venue run by people who are not understanding or accommodating, maybe this is the venue for you. We had a terrible experience with Brittney and her husband (who run the wheeler house).We signed a wedding contract with The Wheeler House, located in Ball Ground Georgia and paid a $4,000.00 deposit. The Contract was very one sided in favor of The Wheeler House and was non-negotiable. We asked for the removal of the following clause because it was ridiculous:“ if The Wheeler House where to go out of business for any reason whatsoever, The Wheeler House is not responsible or liable for the Initial Deposit described above, as the Initial Deposit and all monies paid to The Wheeler House are non-refundable.” They promised to remove the clause and told us to go ahead and sign the contract first… they countersigned without removing the clause. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I delivered our first child 8 days after our scheduled wedding date, we contacted the wheeler house immediately and gave them a more than ample amount of time to book another wedding in place of ours. Despite them rebooking our wedding date, they refused to return our deposit… These are just some examples of their unethical and unhonest behavior. Since then We have rebooked our wedding with a quality venue whose contract offers a return of the deposit if they rebook on the same day (as is only fair) and have had a wonderful wedding experience. In the opinion of someone who has worked with The Wheeler house, this is not a wedding couple friendly venue.

The Wheeler House is An Amazing Venue and All of the staff are such a pleasure to work with! I had the pleasure of working with Ashley and Emma was our Coordinator. These 2 young ladies are a delight. The package pricing was so convenient and all the pricing was spelled out in the contract. Having the food-cake and DJ-tables-chairs-linens-drapes-also plates glasses silverware as a part of the pricing saves ALOT of work. Thanks for making my daughter Ally's Wedding Day A Special Day!

TWH was the first and only venue my husband and I toured. We knew instantly they would be the perfect fit for us and we were absolutely right. Every single second there was literal perfection, our entire day was completely flawless and I know a huge part of that was Laiken and TWH team. They made sure all the little things were taken care of, that everything we wanted was captured, plus they gave very clear instructions on where/when we needed to be to make sure our day stayed on track and we got everything we wanted out of it while also being flexible so we didn’t feel “tied down” to any specifics. Highly, highly, highly recommend TWH to anyone looking for a classy, breathtaking, FUN venue. There are no words I could possibly use to say thank you to everyone at TWH for making our day so perfect.

We celebrated our daughter's wedding at The Wheeler House February 27, 2021 and it was the absolute perfect day. The venue is outstanding and The Wheeler House staff outdid themselves in every way possible. A huge thank you to Baylee, our day of coordinator. Baylee's attention to detail, excellent communication, friendly demeanor and calm professionalism really set the tone from start to finish. The entire staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. We chose to have the ceremony in the barn and it was stunning - a combination of rustic and elegance with the stone fireplace and the shimmering chandeliers. The barn was then magically transformed from ceremony to reception while we enjoyed cocktail hour on the outdoor patio. The venue also offers a huge bridal suite that is perfect for getting ready, lots of places for the perfect photos - wrap around porches, porch swing, tree swing, the pool room and the baby grand piano in the main house make for great photos too. They use in house vendors for the catering, wedding cake and music. Each of these vendors was awesome and so easy to work with. Catering was provided by Events by Dezine and was absolutely delicious - many compliments throughout the evening. We chose stuffed mushrooms, bbq meatballs and pimiento cheese tarts for appetizers during the cocktail hour and dinner was their amazing bell signature salad, sirloin strips, Tuscan chicken, to die for mac and cheese, hand mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. The equally delicious and beautiful cake was provided by Confection Perfection. The evening continued with lots of dancing to the excellent music provided by Andrew and The TC Show. The number of compliments we received from family and friends throughout the night just reaffirmed that The Wheeler House was the absolute best venue for our daughter and son-in-laws special day.

Overall, I had a mixed opinion of my experience here. I was an alternative bride with a Halloween themed wedding. I wanted to have a small, potluck type of wedding, by my groom and his parents wanted something more traditional so we compromised. We chose the Wheeler House so we could have an elegant, themed wedding that we wouldn't have to DIY. However, the wedding became mostly DIY anyway due to the limits contained within our package and wedding vendors. If you are a traditional bride (and/or groom) and you want a traditional wedding, I believe you will have a lovely experience with The Wheeler House. They have relatively modest packages and lovely, traditional items to offer. I was somewhat disappointed with how much money I spent in regards to how much work I still had to do and how much of the theme got lost in translation, but I also had a unique wedding. Details: Our coordinator, Laiken, was extremely nice and accommodating. The Wheeler House staff are all well organized and kind, and they were always very encouraging about our themed wedding--never condescending. The only major complaints I have were regarding catering and our wedding sign. I used two surnames and asked they put both on our provided wedding sign. Instead, they wrote my maiden name; my new surname alone would have been fine, but we are unable to use the sign since it only contains my maiden name. Additionally, we paid $450 to catering for an exclusive Mashed Potato Bar. We didn't receive this--perhaps due to COVID-19 restraints--and were not informed of any issues ahead of time. We only had 3/5 of the toppings we paid for, and we ran out of potatoes despite paying for 75 portions and only having 50 guests. I will mention that The Wheeler House contracts with Events by Dezine for catering, so perhaps this was more their issue. Otherwise, our wedding day was lovely and beautiful with only a few minor hiccups.

I was supposed to get married at the wheeler house March 21 and unfortunately due to covid my wedding was canceled 3 days before. Devastated is not even the word to describe the pain and frustration I felt. HOWEVER, Ashley, Laura, and Lee were constantly in touch with me and doing everything in their power to reschedule my wedding and to make sure I was a happy bride. And that they definitely did! They answered all my questions and were constantly there to make sure everything was perfect. I absolutely recommend this venue! It’s SO beautiful!! And their preferred vendor mike moon studio(Photography) was just as perfect booking them is an absolute MUST!! Thank you Ashley and Laura for making my day all I ever hoped for!!

Such a beautiful location and seriously one of the best nights of my life. The staff was super friendly and really helpful during the planning process. I felt very stress-free on the day of my wedding and everything went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend checking out the Wheeler House if you want a beautiful, calm, and fun planning process/wedding!

We had our wedding at The Wheeler House in Ball Ground, GA on February 22, 2020 and were blown away by the overall experience. The venue was outstanding with provision of food, atmosphere, scenery, and staff hospitality. Laura, Ashley, and the rest of the staff were nothing but accommodating in preparation for our big day and during the celebration - we can’t praise them enough.As a wedding venue we couldn’t fault anything. The recommended catering (Events by Dezine) was outstanding! We chose a truly mouthwatering ensemble, complete with sirloin strips, hand mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and the bella signature salad; paired with Swedish meatballs and pimento cheese tart appetizers. The Wheeler House flawlessly assisted our decision on what to serve our guests; and it is safe to say our they were not disappointed - as no food was left behind.During our winter celebration – we had the choice to use the house for cocktail hour, but due to the size of our guest list and the chill of the February air, we opted to use the barn. Even though the cocktail hour and reception were held in the same building, The Wheeler House provided an exquisitely different ambiance for the two where our guests could enjoy drinks and each other’s company with plenty of space and warmth.The venue played a huge part in the success of our celebration and the amount of our guests who are still talking about your venue is testament to that.

I had a very busy year since getting engaged- graduating from veterinary school, starting a job, moving to a new city and unfortunately health issues. Laura and the Wheeler house made sure that my wedding was an enjoyable planning experience instead of another stressful thing I had to worry about. The all inclusive package is amazing- our guests are still talking about the food (esp the mashed potatoes), the cake and the DJ. Laura was an amazing resource and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of. Our day was perfect and I can’t thank the Wheeler house enough. ALSO its BEAUTIFUL.

I can highly recommend The Wheeler House to anyone looking for a fabulous wedding venue. On our walk through we met with our coordinator Laura who showed us everything they had to offer. We booked it immediately as we knew it was perfect. They made things so easy as they include the caterer, cake, DJ, tables and linens as well as the gorgeous lights and chandeliers. We had so many people tell us it was the best food and cake they ever had at a wedding and the DJ had people dancing all night long. Laura our coordinator was so attentive and answered all my questions that came up during planning and handled all our requests so quickly. The professionalism can’t be beat! This venue is a gem. Beautiful for both indoor and outdoor weddings. We are so happy we chose The Wheeler House. They provided my daughter her perfect dream wedding.

I could not sing enough praises about how incredible the Wheeler House venue is. From the ease of booking (with included caterer, cake, and DJ) to the stunning venue and incredibly kind, talented wedding coordinators, our experience with the Wheeler House was unmatched. Our wedding night was even more perfect and seamless than we could've dreamed of. Every single attendee from our wedding has complimented how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had thanks to all of the vendors included with the Wheeler House. The cottages are also a HUGE plus and made our wedding weekend so incredibly fun!! They're a short 2 minute drive from the venue, adorable, and provide amazing natural light for getting ready before the big day or for just having so much fun with the bridal party the night before and after! The Wheeler House staff and vendors work so well together and it really shows and makes for a completely stress-free and easy planning process AND wedding day. They pay attention to every single detail (wheelchair accessible ramp/accommodations, making sure guests stay comfortable despite the heat, making sure you have food as the bride/groom, etc), treat you as if you are their only bride, and go above and beyond to make the experience for both the bride/groom and guests memorable. We love the Wheeler House and we are SO thankful we chose them for our big day!! I could not have imagined it better any other way!

Words cannot even begin to describe the amount of gratitude and love I have for The Wheeler House and its staff. From the historic house, to the outside ceremony space, to the gorgeous barn, everything is immaculate.While The Wheeler House is gorgeous, it would be nothing without the people who work tirelessly to ensure that each couple has the day of their dreams. Not only did TWH staff go above and beyond the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond from the moment we stepped foot on the property to tour. Laura was our wedding coordinator. I emailed her and spoke with her throughout our 10 months of planning what feels like 1000 times and she answered every phone call and email with what felt like joy in her heart. Every time I saw her she had a smile on her face and made my husband and I feel like we were the only couple she was working with. Our wedding day went perfectly, and if anything was wrong - I sure didn't hear about it. I wish that I could relive our wedding day over and over again. I cannot thank The Wheeler House staff and Laura enough for everything that they did for Cameron and I. We are forever grateful!

The Wheeler House was a fairy-tale venue for my son’s wedding. The home was the backdrop of the most beautiful photographs and provided the old-time Southern country wedding my son’s bride had hoped for. Leading up to the wedding, our coordinator Laura was very attentive. I can’t say enough about how amazing Laura is! She was a delight to work with and is an absolute detailed-oriented professional. She thought of every detail. She put our minds at ease and she delivered the day of our event. I had many guests comment on how smoothly the event ran and how courteous everyone at The Wheeler House was. The staff on site the day of my son’s wedding were so helpful and accommodating. The wedding was on a day of record-breaking heat here in Georgia but the temperature in the barn was perfect even though it was scorching outside. Our guests were allowed access to the main floor of the beautiful historic home before the ceremony so they wouldn’t get overheated outside. The food was superb and the bartenders were very attentive. I would highly recommend The Wheeler House as a venue for anyone considering hosting their wedding there.

You won’t get better service than at this beautiful venue. Planning a wedding can be STRESSFUL. You don’t know what to expect. Laura and The Wheeler House staff have been nothing short of amazing ever since my now husband and I went to tour it. They have every single detail covered and you really don’t have to worry about anything.The day of our wedding Laura, our coordinator, was there helping set up all day. She knew every little thing I wanted (I had a very specific vision) and executed it all with grace and ease. Throughout the night she checked on us and made sure everything was taken care of so we could just focus on our night. She, and the entire Wheeler House staff are incredible and truly care about what you want and go above and beyond to make sure your wedding day goes smoothly! We have had so many guests compliment how beautiful and unique the venue is! Everyone loved and so did we. The food from Events By Dezine was incredible and we had so many guests compliment the food. Every time I see a friend or family member that attended our wedding they mention how amazing the food was! The cake from Lush Cakery was sooo yummy that we had none left!I really cant say enough good things about The Wheeler House, their staff and the vendors. They made our wedding day the most special and memorable day and we couldn’t be more thankful! We love The Wheeler House!!

Often times you hear brides remember their wedding day as a blur... At The Wheeler House, I fondly remember my day so well. Ashley, our Wedding Coordinator helped me through my entire wedding planning process. She truly made the entire wedding such a smooth, wonderful, and memorable time in my life. The Wheeler House provided an amazing space for everything a bride could want. Along with my wedding party, we enjoyed staying in the adorable cottages, getting ready and taking pictures at the gorgeous Wheeler House with wrap-around porches that would make any southern girl swoon, an outdoor space adorned with sheer linens and chandeliers, and the reclaimed lumber barn that served as the perfect space for entertaining our guests with dinner and dancing. As I think back on my wedding day, I am so happy that we chose The Wheeler House. I could not have asked for a more perfect day.

All I can say is WOW! I cannot get over how perfect the Wheeler House was for our wedding. Not only is the staff incredible, but the venue itself is stunning. We got married there in September and we couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate this milestone with our friends and family. Our Wheeler House wedding coordinator Laura was so helpful and extremely organized throughout the whole process. She helped us plan our dream wedding and kept us on track with deadlines. She made great suggestions and had very helpful ideas for our wedding day that my husband and I had not even thought of. The Wheeler House staff was also very good at directing the wedding party, the guests, and the vendors which made the wedding day go very smoothly. Overall we were very pleased with everything. The vendors that are associated with the Wheeler House were incredible as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue; 10/10.

If I could Brides-to-Be one piece of advice it’d be to book the Wheeler House and ensure Laura is your coordinator! I honestly had low expectations about my wedding, simply because I wasn’t feeling very bridal throughout the process. I knew it would be beautiful at the Wheeler House, but I expected to be stressed and the process to be hard and just not fun. However, I was wrong! My new husband and I had a BLAST at our wedding. The entire day ran smoothly; it was so easy for me and my bridesmaids, and was so much fun! I give the Wheeler House and it’s incredible staff full credit for this! My wedding wouldn’t have been as beautiful, as wonderful or as much fun without Laura and her team. My guests keep telling me that my wedding was the most fun wedding they’ve been to… which makes my heart happy… but I can’t take any of the credit. The staff went above and beyond to make this day perfect for us. They made wedding planning and day of execution so easy. I knew at our first planning meeting that we were in good hands. Laura is one of the most helpful, kind, understanding, organized, efficient, sweet and wonderful persons I’ve ever met. She was my wedding fairy godmother. She was so patient with us, went with the flow when we needed to make changes, gave us suggestions when needed and offered lots and lots of encouragement. I could keep going on and on about her. She was a true blessing to our families and helped make our wedding day the BEST DAY EVER. By the end of it all, she felt like a true friend to us. We are so grateful to Laura, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. My wedding day far exceeded my expectations. It truly was a dream day… and that’s coming from a bridal skeptic. I honestly didn’t feel “bridal” until the rehearsal with Laura at the venue…. But then it all came together. We can never repay Laura and the Wheeler House team for everything they did for us. The Wheeler House is a beautiful venue that has weddings mastered. You can rest easy knowing the staff will take care of you and your guests to ensure everything is absolutely amazing on your special day. My husband and I live out of state and had to plan the majority of our wedding via email and Facetime. Laura and Ashley were so incredible and made sure that all of my questions were answered immediately, making me feel so much better about planning from so far away. Ashley was our coordinator for the day of the wedding and worked so hard to make sure our day went off without a hitch despite the tight schedule we were on and the bad weather. The venue itself is stunning and the team of vendors they include in your package are worth so much more than you actually pay! Our food was incredible and the cake was the best cake we've ever had! We had a great experience working with the Wheeler House! Laura was our coordinator and she was amazing. The best part of The Wheeler House was that almost everything was included in the package and they have cottages you can rent close by. My family and entire bridal party stayed in the cottages and it was perfect for getting ready. The venue itself is gorgeous and all of our pictures were even prettier because of the awesome backgrounds. The food was incredible and many people have commented to me that it was the best food they have had at a wedding. What I appreciated most about the Wheeler House and their staff is that everyone was so willing to help and never made our wedding seem like it wasn't a top priority even though they have so many other weddings going on. verything was absolutely perfect. My husband and I could not have been happier with our experience at The Wheeler House. Laura was WONDERFUL. She always answered all of my questions and provided assistance on the day of whenever it was needed. On our day, it rained right when our ceremony was supposed to begin. Laura and her team wiped the chairs off at least 10 times. Once it finally stopped, Laura had all of our guest seated and ready to go ASAP. She also helped to keep me calm while I secretly panicked inside. It was WONDERFUL!!!! The catering team was also amazing. They were constantly asking my husband and I if we needed anything. OUR WEDDING WAS A DREAM! We just got married at The Wheeler House and everything was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more memorable and amazing day. From the beginning Laura and Ashley were so helpful and sweet and made sure that my day would be perfect. The venue felt like it was out of a movie. From the old white southern house that we got to spend all day in getting ready to the old rustic but beautiful barn and the brick aisle I got to walk down, I couldn't have pictures a more perfect place to get married. On the day of our wedding everything went so smoothly and I didn't have to worry a second. If you are looking for that southern rustic beautiful wedding venue with the best wedding coordinators stop looking now, because this is it!! I can not say enough great things about The Wheeler House. Ashley was my coordinator and she KILLED IT! On her own wedding week too! Let me start at the beginning of the weekend, Rehearsal was Saturday morning and she was up early looking great and gave such great directions for my WHOLE CREW, we have 8 parents between the two of us so it was a full house. Then we went to our rehearsal lunch at Fainting Goat Vineyard (look it up) and then came back to the cottages for an easy night with the whole bridal party and parents. All of our best friends in one place getting to know each other better made my heart so full! And no one had to worry about driving up to the venue super early on the actual wedding day or finding a missing bridesmaid or groomsman. Having everyone at the cottages was so special! BOOK THE COTTAGES! Now onto the BIG DAY, my wedding was everything I could ever want and more. Showing up on the day of everything was so easy, all the girls and mothers got there earlier to get hair and makeup and The Wheeler House allowed us to keep food and drinks in the kitchen in the main house to keep us from starving all day. Then when it got closer to the wedding Ashley had a handle on everything! I knew I didn't want to do anything on my wedding day and I didn't have to do a thing! The only thing anyone from my bridal party had to do was set up the gift table and guest book... SUPER EASY! Overall I had a fantastic day getting ready with my ladies, had a minor freak out because boys were a second late (You're shocked I know haha) but Ashley and the team of photo&video stepped in and we ended up ahead of schedule for the entire night!!! Overall, the most perfect wedding ever (I know I'm bias) but The Wheeler House venue and staff is everything and more that any wedding needs! I have not stopped hearing from everyone how gorgeous the venue is and no one even noticed the staff because they were all so sharply dressed and looked like they were attending a wedding! The whole staff at the wheeler house and the vendors that they work with were like tiny wedding fairies that make your dreams come true.

We had two planning meetings beforehand but she answered questions all throughout the planning process. The venue itself is beautiful. The barn is air conditioned. The upstairs bridal suite had enough room for all of us (8 people) to get ready. Some of the vendors are part of the package price (catering, cake, and DJ). All of their vendors were so wonderful to work with and did such an amazing job. The DJ kept everyone dancing and we got so many compliments on the food and cake. We truly had a perfect wedding and I know that was due to a lot of hard work from the Wheeler House staff.

My wedding at The Wheeler House was beyond perfect! The staff is extremely helpful, and it was very evident that they know everything there is to know about wedding planning. They had thought of every last detail and made the planning and execution run smoothly. Amberly was very attentive, responded to my emails quickly, and made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes on the day of the wedding. I seriously didn't have to worry about lifting a finger or making any decisions on the day of my wedding; everything was completely taken care of! In addition to the amazing staff, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. The chandelier, fireplace, and drapery in the barn made for an absolutely gorgeous setting. The vendors used by The Wheeler House were amazing, as well. I had several people say my wedding food was the best wedding food they've ever had (especially the mac & cheese!), and the cake was delicious too! The DJ was lively and energetic and kept everyone dancing all night. Everything was seriously perfect; I can not say enough good things about this place! I highly recommend!!

I couldn’t have been happier with choosing The Wheeler House for my recent wedding!! I had searched many venues, but this one was unique in its affordable price AND super all-inclusive offer. We couldn’t believe how much they take care of: coordinating, tables & chairs, catering, cake, DJ, MC and sound, and everything is on the same property for ceremony and reception, with options for indoor and outdoor in case of rain! It made planning our wedding so much more enjoyable, without the stress of dealing with multiple vendors and trying to make sure everyone arrived on time. The Wheeler House staff were so friendly, accommodating, and on top of things. Laura did an amazing job helping us plan our timeline and was there for the whole event to make sure things flowed smoothly. The only caveat is the town has a noise curfew of 10pm so the event has to end then. However this worked in our favor so we didn’t feel pressure to stay up too late and could enjoy our wedding night with more rest! Highly recommend!! :)

Where to even start? The Wheeler House offered the most perfect venue for our March wedding. The arbor is perfect, but having a back up indoor ceremony option that was able to accommodate our larger guest list was a must. Thankfully the weather wasn’t an issue on our day, but that was one of our initial draws to the Wheeler House, other than the beautiful venue itself. The Wheeler house team made wedding planning easy and stress free. Their packages offer the perfect amount of flexibility as well as structure to make the planning process an ease! I was planning a wedding from about three hours away, and the team was always so flexible and willing to work around my crazy work schedule (night shift nurse) and the distance problem as well. When my original florist up and moved four months before the wedding, the Wheeler House stepped in and made an awesome referral to Holland daze, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! They made sure the day went off so smoothly and my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our day instead of stressing about how it would unfold. Ashley was right there when we would need her and made sure everything stayed on time! They even let us arrange for my husband and I to eat dinner on the top front porch during cocktail hour to make sure we were able to eat without being bombarded with guests. Everyone who attended our wedding continues to compliment us on it! From the venue to the food to the music, they say it was the most fun wedding they’ve been to. And we’re a little biased, but we most certainly agree!

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our experience with this venue. From beginning to end, Ashley and Laura were both helpful, professional and overall rockstars. Not a single concern during planning went unaddressed and the day of was a breeze thanks to their hard work. We used most of the preferred vendors and were ecstatic with the quality service provided to us. Although you are allowed to bring in whatever vendors you like, I would highly recommend using the ones provided by the venue. Believe me, they know what they’re doing! No matter what season you’re wedding is, I can promise you the Wheeler House will look beautiful. They take excellent care of the property. Also, the cottages are a unique addition to your wedding weekend and an absolute must! We had a bonfire there after the rehearsal dinner and it was a blast. Happy planning!

Where do I begin? When I started touring venues, I was smitten by the Wheeler house because of its beautiful setting and convenience of ceremony and reception availability in one space. I’m very type-A, so I valued the ability to plan months advance with a rainy day backup plan, just in case. The team at the Wheeler House is an absolute DREAM to work with. I cannot say enough good things about Laura and Ashley! I worked specifically with Laura throughout the whole process, and we booked the venue 9 months from our wedding date. I asked a million questions over those 9 months, and she persistently got back to my emails within 24 hours. Laura is incredibly professional, attentive to detail, thorough, and sweet. She made the planning process stress-free and enjoyable! She asked me questions I’d never thought about, she ensured we had all the necessary information for the wedding day far in advance, and she helped ensure my wedding day went flawlessly. I didn’t have a wedding planner, but with myself, the Internet, and the help of Laura, I didn’t need one.On the wedding day, Laura was calm and collected, and she didn’t bother me with any questions. She went to my mom and other contacts for any questions or concerns, leaving this bride at ease and thinking that everything was perfect. It was supposed to rain the day of my wedding, and Laura came calmly upstairs into the bridal suite at 2pm to ask what my final decision was (indoor vs. outdoor), and when I said outdoor, she smiled and left and handled the whole thing. Laura coordinated and conducted the whole day with such grace and ease, and she provided suggestions throughout the process when I didn’t know where to begin or what to ask. She was able to draw on past experiences to recommend the best path forward for my wedding, and she offered suggestions to customize and personalize the day.I can’t say enough positive things about The Wheeler House. I considered many other venues like The Barn at Tatum Acres and White Oaks Barn, but what sold me on the Wheeler House was not just the beautiful grounds. It was the incredible attention to detail, responsiveness, and knowledge of the staff members. It was the countless photo opps that the house, barn, and ceremony space contained. It was the flexibility of the team and the excitement they brought to each meeting! Everyone who works there loves their job and loves to see wedding days come to life and go perfectly, and they make planning an absolute breeze. If you’re even remotely considering the Wheeler House, tour it and you’ll be sold. It was the absolute perfect, ideal space for my wedding and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

I spent weeks searching for the perfect venue when I stumbled across the Wheeler House. The reviews were wonderful and the pictures were stunning. After visiting and speaking with Laura, we knew it was the place for us! I look back on my wedding as the most beautiful day of my life. Laura took care of every detail for me, with care and patience. Our planning meetings leading up to the wedding left me feeling calm and prepared. The day of the wedding was everything I could have wanted. We opted to get the full day package and I loved getting ready with my girls in the bridal suite. Even when the weather turned dark and we had to move the ceremony inside, I was calm through it all because the barn was a gorgeous backdrop. In fact, I think it turned out even more beautiful than I anticipated. It’s one month later and my guests are still raving over my entrance with the beautiful barn doors. The fireplace made a breathtaking backdrop and the drapery added the perfect amount of romance. The vendors that work with The Wheeler House are also INCREDIBLE! The cake from Lush Cakery is so moist and better than the typical wedding cake. I have had numerous people tell me the cake was the best they have had. I also adored the DJs! The TC Show kept the dance floor packed, which was my goal for the night. Finally, Events by Dezine created the most delicious menu. I cannot tell you how many people messaged me to ask who catered because they loved it so much! The Wheeler House made my dream day a reality and I could not thank them enough.

Wheeler House was the perfect setting for our dream wedding. Laura, our coordinator, was wonderful to work with and helped us think of every last detail. I'm sure I would have forgotten something major if not for her guidance. The day of we didn't have to stress about a thing because the Wheeler House staff took care of it. The in house catering, cake and DJ made things easy on us and we were beyond impressed with everything. You can't go wrong choosing Wheeler House for your wedding!

My husband and I cannot express how happy we are with The Wheeler House. The venue easily speaks for itself, you get three different locations; the historic house, the gorgeous outside arbor, and the incredible barn, all for the price of one. They are all absolutely breathtaking and our guests were beyond impressed with what they thought was going to be a simple barn wedding. The entire staff is amazing, attentive, and so professional. From the very beginning with touring the premises, to coordinating meetings, the rehearsal, and the big day, they made sure every thing was flawless. They made sure the planning process was easy and took a lot of the stress off of us, they handled all of the accounting with the vendors which is really helpful. As a bride, you already have so much on your plate and The Wheeler House does everything in their power to accommodate you and your guests. We appreciate everything The Wheeler House did but we especially have to thank Laura for always keeping us up to date on our wedding plans and Amberly, our wedding coordinator, who executed the day of our dreams. We absolutely recommend The Wheeler House!

The Wheeler House was THE reason our wedding day was just perfect! From day one, they made the planning process so incredibly easy. They were always easy to reach and more than willing to answer any and all questions. When wedding weekend finally came, everything was seamless. From rehearsal, to set up, to orchestrating the entire event, they were fantastic! The staff was prepared, polite, and on top of it! I couldn't have asked for a better day. Oh, and the venue itself is STUNNING. Everyone raved about the barn and how gorgeous everything looked. I am so very glad we chose this venue and recommend it HANDS DOWN to anyone about to plan the best day of their lives!

We could not have been happier with our decision to have our wedding at The Wheeler House! Aside from the beauty it offers, the staff was amazing to work with! Laura was our wedding coordinator and she was exceptional; she was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Laura was quick to answer any questions we had, give honest advice and recommendations. I valued this so much as I was a bride that didn't know the first thing about planning a wedding or weddings in general. I truly felt like Laura and The Wheeler House staff genuinely cared about our wedding and ensuring our vision came to life the day of. Everything went so smoothly on our wedding day and all of our expectations were met. Also, we chose to rent the cottages close by for the night before and on the wedding day and were so happy that we did. They are adorable and are super convenient for getting ready on the day of! Our wedding party loved them too and liked that we offered them a place to stay after the wedding.If you are looking for a beautiful venue that offers a great package and top notch service, choose The Wheeler House!

Absolutely the best decision we made was to have our wedding at the Wheeler House. With everything included in the package you won't be disappointed. Laura was a dream to work with throughout the entire process and made everything so easy and laid back. She thought of all the little things I hadn't and made sure our dream became a reality. The day of our wedding could not have been more perfect - we are so thankful to the entire Wheeler House team for all of their hard work. Oh, and renting the cottages down the road was great. It made getting ready the next day so easy and relaxing. Definitely rent those if you can!

I can't say enough great things about the Wheeler House!! Laura, our event coordinator through the Wheeler House, went above and beyond to make sure our big day went smoothly! The bridal suite inside the house is wonderful and spacious. We were married inside the barn (because I didn't trust the weather) and it was breathtaking! We received so many complements on how beautiful our wedding was and I would HIGHLY recommend the Wheeler House to anyone!

From the moment we toured, to getting married a year and a half later, the Wheeler House has been the absolute best wedding venue we could have every imagined! Everything they did was above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect day! Their all inclusive package connected us with some of the best vendors, saving us a ton of work and money. Ashley, our day of coordinator, was amazing and very accommodating, since I know our game plan was not the easiest to set up! Everyone who worked there and helped with our day went way above and beyond to make us happy! Also, we rented the cottages for our relatives and wedding party and they just made the day that much better! I have fallen in love with the Wheeler House and I know the memories that we have made there will last a lifetime!

The Wheeler House was 100% the best decision we made for our wedding! The venue was beautiful, the suggested vendors were all impressive, and the staff was amazing. From our first visit, to numerous planning meetings, to Wedding Day, everything was accounted for and arranged just as we desired. Our pictures are fabulous, and our friends and family had a blast at our reception in the barn! One of our favorite things was the fire pit where younger guests made smores later in the evening. My bridal party loved getting ready in the Bridal sweet and taking pictures on the porch. We would recommend the Wheeler House to any couple looking for a rustic yet romantic setting for their wedding!

The beautiful and romantic setting no matter what time of year can be personalized in an amazing way to your wedding style and colors. They are incredibly flexible and accommodating. I cannot tell you how much I loved this venue! I knew I loved the place before I even visited and in person it's ten times better. The staff is quick to respond to any questions or concerns, very professional, and made sure my day was perfect. The whole process from signing the contracts, to the wedding day itself was smooth and easy. Laura and the rest of the Wheeler House staff took care of so many details that I would be lost without them! I would recommend purchasing the onsite cottages for the weekend, they're roomie, super adorable and it made for an unforgettable weekend with family and the bridal party. I could go on and on about how much I loved the Wheeler House and all that they provided and done for my big day, not to mention every person I spoke to at the reception raved about how beautiful the place was and how it was one of the best weddings they have attended! It's worth every penny!

I really don't know where to start! From the initial meeting till the time we hopped in our limo leaving the venue on our wedding night.. everything was perfect. We booked the Venue in November and married the next October. Laura and Ashley were there every step of the way. There were no hidden cost, everything that is presented to you about what is covered and isn't covered is very clear when the contract is signed. Laura and Ashley went above and beyond on our wedding day. From last minute changes to both of them rushing to bustle my dress before we walked into the reception. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The WHOLE team at the Wheeler House is so hard working and will do whatever is takes to make the day perfect for you. Thank you so much for making my dream wedding come true ❤

We knew this venue was the one we would be getting married at as soon as we saw it! The staff is amazing and they literally take care of your each and every need! I had a sparkler crisis two days before my wedding and Laura at the Wheeler House took it off of my hands in a flash! Amber was our wedding coordinator, and I seriously could not have asked for better. She is the sweetest and so very helpful! She made our day perfect and we could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out!!! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and does not require much outside decor should you wish to add to it. If you are looking for a elegant mountain feel to your wedding, this is the venue for you! Plus the beautiful souls that work there are pretty amazing as well!!!

I don't even know where to start. I booked this venue in June 2015 for my wedding in October 2016. It has been my dream for several years to get married at a venue like the wheeler house. It has so many options in a close knit area. All the girls at the Wheeler House are extremely helpful and always make sure you feel truly special. Ashley was our main wedding planner and she did a phenomenal job. She made sure everything ran so smoothly and took care of all last minute issues (before they got to the bride!). The Wheeler house is very affordable and is worth every penny. There are no hidden costs and everything is laid out and planned so nicely. The whole team is so hard working to make sure everything is just absolutely perfect on your big day. The wheeler house was the perfect back drop of a perfect day and made all of my childhood wedding dreams come to life. I can never thank you all enough. Guests are still raving about how wonderful, unique and perfect the venue was for our wedding. 5 stars just doesn't do it justice!

Incredible venue and team. The barn and house are absolutely beautiful. The team is professional and great to work with. We stayed at the wheeler house cottages as well over the weekend and those were so great for the wedding party. The weekend could not have been more perfect. Thank you again to Laura for all of her help with booking, and to Amber, our day of coordinator, who was so wonderful to work with. We cannot thank you enough for making our day so memorable!

Okay, where can I even start with this? Booking The Wheeler House was hands down, one of THE BEST decisions I made for our wedding day. We had the most BEAUTIFUL day, and looking back at our photos, I am even more sure that The Wheeler House is the best. The whole property is gorgeous, and very obviously FOR weddings. There are lots of beautiful chandeliers in the trees, and the interior of the barn is decorated in such a classy, beautiful way. We went with the all day package and we really enjoyed spending our day getting ready in the stunning bridal suite. I was much more at ease being able to oversee wedding preparations while getting ready. And the photos of us getting ready in the space are to die for. Ashley was our wedding coordinator, and she worked out all of the kinks on the day of, and made sure that everything looked beautiful. I did not lift a finger on my wedding day! The Wheeler House staff unpacked our rental items as well as everything I brought and made the ceremony and reception spaces look gorgeous. From beginning to end, The Wheeler House staff were so professional, easy to communicate with, and just fantastic. I would recommend The Wheeler House to any bride who is looking for an affordable, stress-free, and beautiful venue for her big day!

When I got engaged in December 2012, my dad told me about a venue he & my mom pass on their way home from Atlanta. They first noticed it as an abandoned old home but watched it transform into the beautiful historic home and wedding venue it is today. I thought to myself...\"there is no way I'm getting married at a place dad suggests.\" Well, I did! From the first time I visited The Wheeler House website to the many open houses we attended, I was in love! Not only is it a beautiful venue -- Debbie & Lee are fantastic. They have a wonderful list of preferred vendors for any budget. When it came to my special day, Karen was a great help as well. Thank you, Wheeler House, for making my day a fairy tale!
