The White Magnolia is a wedding venue located in Kentwood, LA. This rustic property sits on a 110-acre horse and cattle farm and offers an ideal setting for couples seeking a stylish yet tranquil milestone celebration. The White Magnolia is owned and operated by mother and daughter team Janet Cagley and Callie Richardson. After Callie held her own wedding on the farm in 2016, she and her mom decided to make milestone events a permanent feature at their beautiful estate. This family-led business offers several ceremony and reception sites to choose from. For example, you and your beloved can opt to exchange vows in the property's outdoor pavilion overlooking several grand oak trees and a glistening pond. Featuring an elegant floral archway, six rows of bench seating, and foliage adorned with twinkling lights, this stylish setting is also perfect for hosting cocktail parties. The White Magnolia's indoor ballroom is a stunning event space and can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests. This spacious reception area boasts a balcony, two side porches, and an ornate fireplace with gas-burning logs, setting an idyllic scene for winter weddings. This expansive room also features grooved ceilings, white-washed walls, a large stage, and custom pine flooring. In addition, the staff at this property also provides elegant onsite accommodations, and separate get-ready suites are available for the wedding party to utilize throughout the day. At The White Magnolia, several services are available to ensure your special day runs as smoothly as possible. The expert coordination team offers four comprehensive wedding packages to choose from, with both basic and premium options included. With the Magnolia Leaf package, for example, you and your beloved can enjoy ceremony, rehearsal, and reception coordination with a range of delicious in-house catering services included. Clients are asked to take note that this particular wedding package is available for events held on Sundays only. The Magnolia Tree is the venue's premium package and features unlimited communication, budget analysis, and vendor management, with decor assistance also provided. In terms of cuisine, the celebrated culinary team at the venue is skilled at creating various delicious wedding menus to suit all tastes and preferences. From traditional Louisiana shrimp and grits to spinach stuffed pork tenderloins, there are several delicious options to suit all tastes. Professional mixologists can be on hand to prepare a selection of signature cocktails while also serving premium liquors, wines, and craft beers. For convenience, the efficient staff at the property is also happy to manage the setup and teardown of event areas. We have a sister venue Magnolia Manor in Osyka, MS that is perfect for hosting bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, day after brunches, and smaller weddings. Our Magnolia Manor Catering team caters at this venue as well! The White Magnolia Chapel coming September 2022!

I cannot begin to explain how perfect our wedding was at the White Magnolia! Callie and Rebecca answered any and every question we had and made the planning process as easy as possible. Rebecca was there the entire day of the wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly. We literally didn't have to worry about a thing the entire day because Rebecca dealt with the vendors and everything. I just had fun with my friends getting ready all day and the guys went fishing. It was magnificent! The venue was PERFECT! There are suites in the building to get ready in so once you got there you never had to leave. That made things easy with the photography and videography because we didn't spend any extra money on the time they would have spent running around from place to place. Also, the catering that comes with the packages was the best food I have EVER had at a wedding! People are still telling us how much they enjoyed the food. If you have any reservations about having your wedding at the White Magnolia, don't do it. You won't regret it!

There are no words to describe how perfect my day was. Lyndee and McKenzie were fantastic to work with and they made sure every detail was taken care of. Having an all-inclusive venue really made the planning process so smooth and easy! Callie has created such an incredible venue and I would do it over a million times if I could!!

Having everything all inclusive was the best decision for us because I was a full-time student and I worked and was very busy so it just made life a little bit easier. I booked the venue prior to them building the chapel and took a gamble on how it will turn out. It was way better than expected and feel so lucky to have gotten married there. Everyone told us how beautiful the venue was for weeks after the wedding. We even went to another wedding and people were still talking about ours! Everything was beautiful and our guest were so impressed. I loved my whole experience and so did everyone else! We booked all the cottages for family and the bridal party which made it feel like a little get away trip for them. the grounds are stunning and peaceful and my nieces and nephews loved the cows. I have nothing but good things to say about this venue and am so happy I had the fairy tale wedding of my dreams! Hannah and Callie are quick to respond and made me feel like no question was a stupid question. (And I had a lot of them) it was truly amazing!

We were originally going to have our wedding at the White Magnolia. We decided a year out, to have a destination wedding. Callie refused to give us any money back. I understand if she would’ve kept the $3,000 deposit, but she kept every penny we put towards the venue, even though she rebooked our date in a matter of DAYS. we were out $6,000. She was very rude about the situation.

I am so thankful for The White Magnolia! I got married here in 2017 and it was the best decision ever! I am a photographer also and I shoot weddings here frequently. I still get butterflies every time I come back to The White Magnolia and think back to my wedding. The staff is amazing, the food is the best, and the grounds are always so clean and neat. They update the venue often and I always look forward to what they have planned! When I was looking for a venue, I really wanted something that included a lot so it was less I had to do on my wedding day! Even up to the wedding day, there were things that I didn't even realize were included like lunch for the bride and groom suites, the on site coordinator to tell us when to walk and help with last minute things, and staying on the grounds all day! They built the cottages right before I got married so we were really excited to have our friends and family stay the night in the cottages and get to see them the next morning! I would 100% recommend The White Magnolia to any bride! The staff have become friends and I love coming back to photograph this beautiful venue!

The White Magnolia was one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding! Even though it was out of the way being that I'm from New Orleans, as soon as I toured it.. I knew I had to have my wedding there. If you're iffy about the distance like I was, just know that everyone who loves you & your spouse will make the drive. It was so worth it. On top of the venue being absolutely gorgeous, the staff went above and beyond at every corner. They informed me of any foreseeable problems in a timely manner, (in my case the weather being too cold-totally out of their control) to prepare me to make a decision prior to my wedding day so I didn't have a complete meltdown. Haha! The meetings leading up to the special day were always so professional and warm. Hannah and Lyndee are SO SWEET and were such a big help throughout the whole process, especially on the day of my wedding. The bartenders were so fun and had a great attitude, as well as the wait staff. Everyone involved in serving my wedding through the White Magnolia was absolutely wonderful. Everyone who came constantly complimented how beautiful The White Magnolia was and were in awe of how smooth things ran. The week of my wedding, I did have to move my ceremony inside to ensure my guests weren't freezing... and I was a little nervous about the turn around time it would take from ceremony to reception. Upon asking close friends how the transition was, (while we were occupied taking pictures) we were informed that it was insanely quick and no one even noticed what was happening. Even with it being so cold outside, they were still able to open the doors and heat the patios without anyone even thinking about being cold. My husband & I, my wedding party and our family all stayed in the cottages for the night...which again, were phenomenal, clean & absolutely precious. We even had a bonfire to finish up the night which absolutely added to the magical memories I'll forever cherish from my day at The White Magnolia. Don't think twice, book your wedding at The White Magnolia, you won't be disappointed :-)

We got married at the White Magnolia in May 2021 and our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the venue was!! Both the ceremony site (by the lake) and the reception hall are so gorgeous that you don't need a lot of decorations. We rented the candle sticks and added other personal touches but it really speaks for itself. The staff is amazing too. We were a COVID couple (original wedding date in September 2020) and Callie was so gracious and understanding about changing our date! On the day of the wedding, the coordinator, Hannah, took care of absolutely everything! She probably put out a million little fires with coordinating vendors and everything but I would never know. We rented out all of the cottages for the bridal party and family for the wedding night and it was like a retreat. We had breakfast on the beautiful porch the next morning and it was just wonderful!! We loved everything about getting married at The White Magnolia!

My husband and I were engaged for a year and a half and Callie and her team made the ENTIRE process so easy. Callie and her husband are the sweetest people. They have the purest hearts and would do anything for their clients. I took my bridals at the venue during the time Callie was pregnant so her husband came to make sure we had everything and her sister assisted in us renting the horse for pictures. Let me just tell you, these two were so sweet to us and it was very much appreciated.During the wedding Ms. Rebecca was the day of coordinator and everything could not have went more smoothly. Their team went above and beyond for us and we felt so loved.We not only felt like we made connections with vendors we felt like we gained friends through them. They truly are the best and Payton and I could not have imagined our special day being anywhere else.The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. We stayed on site the entire weekend and I would recommend that to every bride if it is possible. It was the most stress-free thing that we could have done. It made everything so easy for our entire bridal party and family.Thank you for everything The White Magnolia staff!

I was obsessed with this venue fromDay 1! Even though it was a downpour all week including the day of our wedding, the indoor set up at the white magnolia is unrivaled!!! I received so many compliments on the uniqueness of the venue and just the natural stunning beauty of this venue (& lots of those interested in using this venue themselves). To top it off, Callie and Ms Rebecca were amazing to work with from beginning to end!! They covered every detail with you!!! I’m just sad that it’s all over and I don’t have a reason to go there again!!! PS— the cabins right there on the property to rent for the guests is the icing on the cake!

Our wedding at The White Magnolia was a DREAM!!! Callie (owner) & Rebecca (coordinator) are so amazing. Everything from the rehearsal to the reception went so smooth. They answered any question I had the entire 10 months of planning, and made my part of planning so much easier than I had anticipated. A great thing about this venue is that so much is included in the packages. We love The White Magnolia and appreciate everything that was done for our wedding day!

My daughter's rehearsal dinner and wedding were held at The White Magnolia last weekend. The entire weekend was amazing! My family stayed in the cabins and we had access to the venue all day Friday and Saturday which made preparations very easy and convenient! The venue is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for a wedding. The bride and groom suites are spacious and equipped for a large wedding party! The outdoor ceremony space was perfect for the sunset wedding. We had so many compliments on the venue and the food catered by Louisiana Bayou Bistro. In addition to an absolutely beautiful venue that had everything you needed, it was a pleasure to work with Callie. She is easy to reach and has so many ideas on little touches that make the day even more special. It was a perfect weekend and a perfect setting for a beautiful wedding. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could! Thank you Callie for helping make the occasion even more than I had hoped for!

Callie and Charlie Richardson (Owner) We put our heart and soul into building this venue, creating every detail for our perfect wedding day. Now we are excited to share it with others and help them create their dream wedding here, at The White Magnolia. My favorite color is white, yes that is why the entire venue is white, it also helps show off those perfect weathered post and beams. I love all things vintage and weathered, old houses, and baby animals. I enjoy riding horses with my hubby, decorating, taking care of the farm animals, and working outside.
