From our immaculately kept gardens and our gorgeous waterfalls to our expertly trained staff and food from our restaurant kitchen, our family hosts your family on your special day. Our facility is a sight to be seen. The property features flowing waterfalls and delightful gardens. You can exchange your vows on the stone steps outside the house - a wonderful outdoor setting for you and your loved ones to remember. The main event room of The Whittemore at Vyne is large enough to comfortably host 225 guests. You and your guests can enter this space over a bridge spanning the waterfalls, coming in directly from the property grounds. This event space combines flexibility with elegance and a country charm through wood-paneled walls and gorgeous white accents. Several indoor and outdoor sites present marvelous opportunities for your wedding photography. The Whittemore at Vyne hosts single-faith, multi-faith, and non-religious ceremonies as well as elopements, civil unions, commitment ceremonies, second weddings, and vow renewal ceremonies. We offer varied packages for any budget and access to Vyne's talented chefs and experienced event specialists. Your starting site fee includes event setup and cleanup, as well as the use of get-ready rooms, parking, and rental items. I had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Whittemore (Vyne) Restaurant and Bar. It was an amazing experience the whole way through. Kendall Purdy helped me with every question I had and made me feel so special the whole time. She worked with all requests and figured out a way to make everything work. Even when I was probably annoying her and staff they all were so wonderful. The day of was perfect. It rained on the day of the ceremony and it still ended up being perfect and I did not feel a single hitch (even though I am sure they happened, staff took care of it all). I am so happy that I had my wedding here and I am so grateful to Kendall and her whole staff for making me feel so welcome and so taken care of. The food for cocktail hour was set up beautifully and was delicious as was the entire dinner. Also, the pictures came out perfect because this venue is so amazingly beautiful.

We had the best wedding at Vyne! The Whittemore room was absolutely beautiful and our guests raved about the venue & food! Kendal was a joy to work with, always going the extra mile to say hello when myself or my family were at the restaurant for dinner. The signature drinks were a fantastic added touch; we enjoyed getting to create our own drink with the bartenders in advance of the wedding day. We did have some communication issues throughout the process, but Kendal did her best to make up for them and reassure us our day would go smoothly. A small piece of feedback would be that the bridal suite did not have any place to hang the bridesmaid dresses or my wedding dress, but that was minimal. Also, I'd suggest asking for your vendor table to be in your main reception area, as ours was in the Garden Room and our photographers ended up missing the anniversary dance and dedication dance. Similarly, our videographer missed my mother-daughter dance - since they couldn't hear the DJ announcing things. Nothing against the venue here, but just a suggestion to avoid this happening to you!Overall, we really enjoyed the venue. Can't wait to book again for future events!

This is a beautiful venue inside and out and our reception went as smoothly as you could ever hope! We were lucky to have nice weather on a Saturday in June so we did pictures and our cocktail hour outside in their lush garden - the pictures are stunning!! Kendall was very easy to work with, she was kind, professional, accommodating, and made us so excited for our special day! One of our main reasons for choosing the Vyne was for their amazing food, and our guests could not stop raving, especially about the cocktail hour. We also had so much fun crafting two perfect specialty cocktails with their awesome bartenders. I gave 4/5 stars due to some mishaps in communication. They are still a relatively new venue compared to others we considered. But everything was sorted out before the big day and they were very responsive in the few weeks leading up to the wedding. They have been doing more and more events of all types and I definitely foresee them booking up fast for weddings!

Selecting the Whittemore at Vyne was the absolute best decision we made in our wedding planning, and we had the most fantastic day 8/12/2023! If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet with Kendall, I beg you to meet with her to experience what this exceptional facility can offer. I have never met someone more posed, calming, nor possessing the ability to keep you stress-free during the most special day of your life. We found out an hour before the ceremony that our selected photographer bailed. Kendall took the initiative and pulled Connor(also amazing) from another event to start taking our pictures with his high-end camera while she called for a backup photographer. Needless to say, she locked in a photographer who came within 30 minutes. Without Kendall, we wouldn’t have had a photographer to remember our event. The weather that evening was also ominous. Again, she took it upon herself to set up a second location in the event of a rainout. Thankfully, the rain held out, and we could have the wedding outside. I’d also like to thank Chef Phil for the amazing food and service that was perfectly executed throughout the night. During our food/meal tasting, he took the time to explain how everything was sourced and cooked. His attention to detail showed as our guests enjoyed all the courses. Everyone raved about the food, the grounds, the room, the bartenders, the staff. Over a dozen people came to us immediately after and said this was easily the best wedding they had ever attended. Thank you, Kendall, Tom, Connor, Chef Phil, and the rest of the staff! I should also mention they have an after-party bar/restaurant called Brewbury, directly adjacent to the facility.

Our wedding day at The Whittemore at Vyne was truly magical. The venue is strikingly beautiful; inside and out. Minimal effort can be put into your wedding decor because the garden grounds and indoor aesthetics are naturally classic, elegant, and beautiful. We didn’t use a florist or DJ! The venue is budget friendly, accommodating of small groups, and has wonderful food and service. Everything about our day was special, and our guests had nothing but good feedback. Kendall, the event coordinator, was a pleasure to work with. She communicated with us every step of the way and made sure she was there to help run the show and support us the day of our wedding. We are so happy and already wish to relive our wedding day. Luckily the venue is a public restaurant as well; we will surely be back to celebrate our wedding anniversaries for years to come! We highly recommend this venue!

My daughters wedding was absolutely magnificent from start to finish!! The venue, staff, chefs, service workers, assistants , you name it everything went off without a hitch!! Our cocktail hour was amazing.. the food prepared by “Chef Phil” was truly more than we ever could have expected .. delicious!!! The dinner was as if you ordered from your favorite 5 star restaurant and I kid you not!!! We are foodies and ordered plenty for our guests but truly exceeded our expectations!!! I loved working with this venue and look forward to our next event!!

I've recently had my wedding reception at Vyne and the experience myself and my family had was less than desirable, but when I tell you the leaps and bounds that Dean, the owner of the establishment, went through to reconcile the situation were beyond what I expected. Not only did he make it a point to call me directly to discuss what happened, he resolved the situation in house with his staff to make sure going forward it would never happen again. The sole fact that Dean took time from his day of running several business to resolve my situation speaks volumes of the type of business owner he is and how much he truly cares about his customers. He was humble and held himself and the establishment accountable and that is so hard to find nowadays with businesses and I am truly grateful for the personal care he put forth to reconcile the mishap of my wedding reception. I can confidently say that I would certainly recommend Vyne for any kind of event. You will not be disappointed by the atmosphere, the food, and the service. Thank you to Dean and the staff of Vyne for the exceptional care that proceeded after my reception.

This review is regarding my recent wedding (July 15, 2022) at the Whittemore at Vyne. Unfortunately, our experience with the venue and subsequently, one of the owners following the wedding, really put a damper on what was supposed to be a wonderful day. I feel an obligation to inform others of our experience, as it points to unethical behavior and refusal to take ownership.The biggest issue was the antipasto cocktail display, which cost $280. On the menu, it states that it includes, \"assorted cured meats and cheeses, assorted dips, sliced baguettes, and crostini.\" There were no assortment of meats and cheeses - one of each was put out. There were no assorted dips. There were no sliced baguettes or crostini (isn't this the key food item??)When I brought this issue up to one of the owners through multiple emails and a phone conversation, she denied any wrongdoing but said she would refund the cost of the crostini and baguettes. She indicated that assorted dips are no longer put out on the display, contrary to what the contract states. There was no satisfactory response to only one meat and one cheese item being put out instead of an assortment. My husband and I were getting pictures taken after the ceremony and when I finally got to the cocktail hour (about 35 min into it), the display looked pathetic. However, the event coordinator assured me that everything that was supposed to be put out there was.Some of the owner's responses to my concerns include the following explanations:Some menu items are always subject to change but the venue never stinges on what is provided. She also insisted that there was an assortment of meats which is always the most expensive items on a antipasto table. Again, there was ONE meat and ONE cheese put out. The owner indicated that since I was disappointed with the Antipasto, a refund would be given. Since I was disappointed?? How about since we were charged for several key items you didn't serve? Isn't that fraudulent? Not to mention, this was embarrassing for my husband and me - we wanted our guests to have a nice cocktail hour and didn't find out that they didn't until it was too late to do anything about it.So ultimately, the owner did the right thing but not without a lot of effort on my part. Ironically, she did not agreed to the refund until I told her I was filing a dispute with Discover (and would forward them the contract and emails) in order to get the money back - because she knew she would've lost and had a ding against the venue from the credit card company. It is important to note that she never took ownership of this monumental mistake and never apologized.The venue is beautiful. The food is very good. However, the staff needs training on communication and oversight of events and the manager and owner obviously need training on customer service/resolution of complaints instead of practicing deflection and denial of wrongdoing. Ours was the only event - a wedding with 30 people on a Fri night. And maybe that speaks for itself. I didn't think I needed to personally check the cocktail display to make sure the venue did what they were supposed to do (and what the contract stated).

We just had our wedding here and we cannot say enough nice things about the venue and the staff. It is not only beautiful inside and out, but the perfect space to accommodate guests. Kendall couldn't have made the process easier or less stressful. Justes did an amazing job of keeping me my husband accommodated the entire night. Phil and the kitchen staff put out the most delicious food, which many guests said was the best they've had at a wedding. Every bartender did an amazing job and guests had so many nice things to say about them. I would recommend having your wedding here to any one.

We just had our wedding here and we cannot say enough nice things about the venue and the staff. It is not only beautiful inside and out, but the perfect space to accommodate guests. Kendall couldn't have made the process easier or less stressful. Justes did an amazing job of keeping me my husband accommodated the entire night. Phil and the kitchen staff put out the most delicious food, which many guests said was the best they've had at a wedding. Every bartender did an amazing job and guests had so many nice things to say about them. I would recommend having your wedding here to any one.

My partner and I are so so happy we had our wedding at this venue. The whole place is gorgeous and when we tasted the food before officially booking it, the food sold us on having our wedding here. The process was a bit longer than we wanted due to pushing it from May '21 to November '21. Throughout the process when obstacles or questions came up Mike and Kendall helped up resolve it in a way that was still in line with our vision and contract but was also creative. We were able to design a menu we were happy with, create a signature cocktail each & they honored all guests allergies. I, my wedding party and the moms all got ready in the bridal suite and we had lunch delivered to the room for us (also delicious). Our ceremony was in the garden room and was a cozy indoor backdrop for our vows. 10/10 would recommend!

Kendall was the best and we were so lucky to have her there for our wedding. She was around the entire evening. Making sure we had everything we needed in the bridal suite, calming the ring bearer during entrances, and went the extra mile to help getting food out to the tables. Chef Phil also did an amazing job with the menu and stopped by during dinner to make sure everything was running smoothly. He even made a special bridal meal of my favorite dish! Would recommend this team to anyone.

By far the best venue I have ever been to! Mike went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect wedding. He listened to what we wanted, told us all of our options and provided suggestions to help us make decisions. They were so organized that I did not have to worry about anything during the planning process and on the big day! The food was amazing!! The head chef came in to check on us and made sure everything was done to satisfaction. All the staff were so personal and professional. I could not have asked for a better team. Thank you to all the staff at Vyne especially Mike and Chef Phil for making our wedding so special and a night we will always remember.

By far the best venue I have ever been to! Mike went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect wedding. He listened to what we wanted, told us all of our options and provided suggestions to help us make decisions. They were so organized that I did not have to worry about anything during the planning process and on the big day! The food was amazing!! The head chef came in to check on us and made sure everything was done to satisfaction. All the staff were so personal and professional. I could not have asked for a better team. When we walked in to see the Whittemore at Vyne as a potential wedding venue, we instantly knew this was the place for us when we saw how beautiful it was. I fell in love with the indoors as quickly as the outdoors! Jason was above and beyond in literally every way from day 1. We had to postpone our 2019 wedding for personal reasons, and when 2020 became a disaster, Jason and Katie worked with us to ensure our day could still happen as close to we had originally planned for. The communication, responsiveness, professionalism, and flexibility was unparalleled. I would recommend the Whittemore at Vyne as a venue to anyone and everyone looking for a venue for any occasion, and Vyne restaurant to anyone who appreciates a good meal! The food is truly the best we have ever had, and is consistently delicious every time! In our many experiences here, the staff has been incredible each time. Chef Phil is beyond talented and the pride he takes in his work truly shows as each plate looks and tastes perfect every time. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment! Jason truly dedicated himself to making sure we were happy with each aspect of our wedding for a 2 year span and never made us feel like we were a burden of any sort. (Even when I knew I was pushing it!) When we started working with Katie as well, she was accommodating, so kind, fun, and really made sure the day ran perfectly. We will certainly remain loyal customers to Vyne and can't wait to book our next celebration with them!

I can't recommend this venue enough. Don't think, just contact them! Everything from the grounds, the menu, the restaurant decor and our coordinator couldn't have been more perfect. They also have a beautiful bridal suite located on the top floor for bigger events. We had a small wedding (about 20+) in May and the flow was seamless, the care given was tangible, and the food was excellent. It was an amazing day that couldn't have gone better if we had chosen a different venue. (So many thanks to Jason Van Stone for making everything come together - seriously the MVP of the day). Their website photos and menu say it all. They are truly indicative of the decor and the beauty that you'll experience the day of. Take a look and say yes to Vyne, so glad we did!

My husband and I came across the Vyne through the knot surprisingly enough, brand new venue, no reviews... we gave it a shot and fell in love right when we pulled in to park our car and meet with the coordinator. I’d truly give this venue 4.5 stars, it was truly everything we hoped for and couldn’t believe they had our date available with our 3 month engagement to wedding time!!! We had dinner shortly after visiting the venue and loved the food, service and atmosphere. we both loved everything from our drinks, food, dining experience and the decor. Deborah was our wedding coordinator and katie her assistant truly helped make our wedding views seamless as they were so helpful and accommodating. We didn’t have our ceremony there, it was at a church. The only reason I give this place “4” stars is because we weren’t told until the week before that the cocktail hour is technically held in the same room as the reception. The garden room which is absolutely stunning was an option (luckily it was available, however we didn’t choose it because we didn’t think it was right that we weren’t made aware of this up front) at an additional cost to host cocktail hour. Despite that, everything turned out to be more than we could have ever asked for with our decor and ideas, the staff assisted us in making our wedding dreams come true! Our guests raved about the food, the venue, the open bar, and the good time we all shared at the Vyne!!! Our wedding photographs from there are truly stunning!!! We can’t wait to come back for dinner and drinks AGAIN AS MR & MRS in the future!

Kendall Purdy (Events Director) My life has been always been centered around creating special moments for others. Earlier in life, I enjoyed a theater career in New York culminating in touring the world as Maria in the 50th anniversary world tour of West Side Story. After my children were born ten years ago, I was ready for the next challenge and sought to combine my passion for creating a memorable experience on a stage with creating and directing events that create memories for a lifetime. The most significant events in life are shared around a table with loved ones and what bigger show is there in life than a wedding!
