Everyone getting married in the Indiana (or surrounding) area should get married at The Wilds. Not only is it the most beautiful venue - the staff (especially Claire N) is there for you EVERY SINGLE step of the way. I trusted that the entire day would go smoothly because of how in tune the staff was with our wants and needs. IT DID! It was by far the greatest day of our lives without one single hiccup. Everyone getting married in the Indiana (or surrounding) area should get married at The Wilds. I absolutely loved having my wedding at The Wilds! They have great communication and go above and beyond! It was awesome to have the ceremony and reception a few steps away from each other. My older family members loved the short walk. They listened to every detail I wanted and made my vision come to life even better than I dreamed of. Completely seamless transitions from start to finish. The get ready house and overnight stay house was perfect for my family. Made us feel right at home with everything stocked and clean.I definitely recommend The Wilds! We are not only their customersâŠwe became friends with people that worked with us.

Alison (the owner at the time) was so nice! She made us feel welcome from the moment we met. She made the planning process so easy for us and she was always an email away from any questions we had. The open houses also made it easy to choose our vendors and plan out table designs, which was definitely helpful. The day of the wedding was stress free! The staff that worked to help set up was fantastic! They constantly checked in with us and got everything set up just that way we wanted! The day went so well and we couldn't have asked for more. I love this venue so much! Highly recommend!

Not only is it a stunning venue with a beautiful backdrop, but the staff goes above and beyond to help you on your wedding day. You donât need a wedding planner/coordinator or a rehearsal dinner! I cannot say enough about how amazing the wilds staff is. We pulled together a wedding in a short span of time for my daughter which was a challenge and they were absolutely amazing and the venue is gorgeous and we totally recommend the airbnb they have have for the family to stay in. They have everything covered for an amazing wedding but most importantly they were just amazing to work with. Hailey and Claire and all the staff we dealt with went above and beyond.

Oh my gosh, to even explain this venue!! I don't think there are words to put into just how much we LOVED every aspect of planning and having our wedding here. As being a planner myself, this venue has thought of it all and the coordinators make the wedding planning aspect go just about as smooth and easy as it can. Besides the venue being absolutely stunning the staff is exceptional. I would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone. I truly wish we could relive this day over and over again.

It was truly the best day ever. The venue is a blank canvas and so beautiful. The staff was so helpful and responsive the entire day and also in the months leading up to the wedding. Day of, they did a wonderful job at setting up the details, checking in, keeping us on track, etc. Having experienced and caring staff on your side is priceless! I canât say enough about Alison and her team. Our day felt effortless thanks to them! Side note more as a tip! Make sure to have enough family/friends at tear down time. That part is more hands on since itâs taking a couple hours worth of work into a shorter time period and fewer staff members.

Alison and the rest of the staff at The Wilds are nothing short of incredible! From beginning to end, they made sure that every single thing was as easy and stress-free as possible. Alison went above and beyond to help us when we had to reschedule the wedding, and she was so kind, easy to talk to, and obviously one of the most organized people I have ever met! The online planning tool was very helpful with keeping things organized during the planning process so that everything would go smoothly on the wedding day. It was evident that everyone involved was very informed about every single detail. Our day-of coordinator (shoutout to Haley!) only had to ask me two very easy questions the entire day because she was so on top of it! Alison's husband Brian helped the rest of the staff clean everything up at the end of the night and made sure we didn't have to lift a finger. I have received so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was! Our entire wedding day was perfect and we were able to relax and enjoy it because of the team at The Wilds! Alison and the rest of the staff at The Wilds are nothing short of incredible! From beginning to end, they made sure that every single thing was as easy and stress-free as possible. Alison went above and beyond to help us when we had to reschedule the wedding, and she was so kind, easy to talk to, and obviously one of the most organized people I have ever met! The online planning tool was very helpful with keeping things organized during the planning process so that everything would go smoothly on the wedding day. It was evident that everyone involved was very informed about every single detail. Our day-of coordinator (shoutout to Haley!) only had to ask me two very easy questions the entire day because she was so on top of it! What you don't realize about this venue is that along with a gorgeous space, you get a team of professionals who are ready to support you with any questions, recommendations, and encouragement. This business has LEGENDARY response times. I mean seriously anytime I emailed Alison, I think she got back to me within the hour whereas with other vendors, I'd wait til the end of the day or sometimes multiple days.Our wedding was pretty severely impacted by omicron but on the day of, the Wilds staff let me enjoy my day and handled the chaos of re-doing table assignments. They decorated the venue beautifully before we even arrived which was so awesome for me, my mom, and my godmother since we felt like we could just go through and enjoy the day.With all this support, you'd think that the staff was hovering over us constantly but honestly somehow they managed always be around so that I could get help quickly if I needed it but were also totally under the radar.This venue is worth every penny - I can't express that enough. Their team made it so that I actually got to enjoy my wedding day (an experience many brides have not shared!) and countless guests were complimentary of the beautiful space.

Alison is knowledgeable and personable and has created the perfect venue. The location is gorgeous, nestled in the trees with color and texture year round. We absolutely loved having out wedding at The Wilds. The property has so much to offer and they have really thought through all the necessities to make a venue beautiful but also comfortable. We loved being able to have our dance floor outside and the sunset was perfect for our photos. We did have to provide our own sound system/mic set up as we did not have a DJ and The Wilds does not provide such equipment (something that we thing the option to rent from the venue would've been amazing). There were a few things that on the day got loss in communication, but nothing that cause any major issues! Brian was also amazing at the end of the night making sure we had gotten all of our stuff. Her care and commitment shine through in every way and no stone is left unturned. The venue is gorgeous, with handcrafted details everywhere you look, and is surrounded by the most scenic rolling hills and forests of Southern Indiana, but I was even more impressed with the behind-the-scenes. After signing, Alison sent us a carefully thought out spreadsheet, which proved invaluable at keeping us organized, plus an extremely helpful resource document. The Wilds Wedding and Event Venue is so, so special. It first drew us in for its beauty - set on a hill on a beautiful farm, it's picturesque, absolutely stunning. It was after meeting the owners, however, that we were sure we had found the perfect venue for our wedding!Alison and Brian have created the most incredible environment for couples planning their wedding day. I canât say enough great things about the WILDS. I was a very nervous bride. I worried about it all. The day before I was a mess. The WILDS team talked to me reassured me that my day was going to be amazing. When I walked into the venue it was like a dream. The decorations were perfect. The drapes I had picked out where amazing. I even had table runners I still needed to steam and they told me not to worry about it they would do it. (I could have cried when they said that, it was a weight off my shoulders). I wouldnât have had a perfect wedding if it werenât for the details that the WILDS puts into their venue. From the online planner to the meetings and the rental packages they have got it all. I didnât have my family staying after the night cleaning up because the WILDS team did it. Alison was amazing on our big day! She was available the whole time we were there and helped with everything from cajoling our ring bearer down the aisle to helping me bustle my dress! Besides Alison being the most outstanding hostess ever, the venue itself is beyond gorgeous. Itâs clean, classic, and elegant. I barely had time to get decorations for a ceremony ready and Alison helped my florist drape their own tulle over the outdoor arch that is in the large covered pavilion and laid out lanterns they had down the aisle, the only decorations I had was the installation on the arch from the florist. Alison assured us that anything they had we could use and it all turned out amazing! She even assured us that if the weather was too rainy for our outdoor session, she would have the indoor area setup if we needed it. All in all, I canât stop gushing over how perfect everything was and how attentive Alison was. When my new husband and I were doing our dance, Alison even put my bouquet up on the fireplace mantle to add to the backdrop. I literally cannot stop smiling thinking about how perfect everything was. I highly recommend Alison and The Wilds for any wedding or event you might have! I am convinced that The Wilds is the perfect venue, and I HIGHLY recommend it for your wedding or event! My husband and I were married there in November 2020 and our wedding was perfect! The Wildsâ owners, Alison & Brian, are two of the kindest and most talented people Iâve ever met. They have created a beautiful & dynamic event space in a gorgeous location, but also have hand crafted an exceptional client experience that truly made wedding planning feel like a breeze. The proof in the pudding is that Alison helped us plan a beautiful intimate wedding in less than two months from out of state. We didnât even see the venue until our wedding day, but we were sold when we virtually met Alison. As prospective clients, the transparency of dates and packages set the tone for the entire booking & planning process, but also the day of the wedding. I felt so supported and truly relieved as a COVID bride, and our wedding exceeded my expectations due to the care, creativity, and overall boss-babe presence & professional expertise of Alison. Alison is so organized and made my type A spirit sing with her planning tools and exceptional care during planning and on the day of. She even helped us plan three different ceremony scenarios to prepare for whatever weather we might encounter on our wedding day, so I didnât even flinch when we had to move our ceremony inside due to wind morning of the wedding. As a marketer, I am also just so impressed with every single communication and platform from The Wilds as a prospective and booked client. Their prospective & booked client resources, website and social media are all so thoughtfully and beautifully designed with the client in mind. Having planned two weddings in two states due to COVID , I can truly say how unique Alison & Brian are, how much easier planning a wedding at The Wilds is with its unique tools and support AND how amazing their preferred vendors are. Our vendors operated like a close knit family and a well oiled machine. And every vendor I reached out to was responsive & elated when they heard I was sent from the The Wilds & raved about the venue and owners. Truly, my only regret from our wedding day at the Wilds was that I didnât get to spend enough time with Alison & Brian! I had all my vendors lined up and then... covid came, which quickly sent my wedding planning into a complete tailspin. We realized our Chicago plans for a 250 person wedding summer 2020 were not going to happen, so we started looking elsewhere. Enter Alison. Where do I begin... this woman is amazing. From the moment we did our virtual tour of the Wilds we were sold. Not only because the venue itself is breathtaking and beautiful in every way, but Alison is one of the kindest, most caring humans I have ever met. She just has this way about her that is so calming. And let me tell you as a covid bride, she was my light on the darkest days. She was always a phone call or text away and I would tell my fiance at the time, that every time I spoke to her, I instantly felt better. I can tell you that after planning a wedding twice in two different states, I have met A LOT of wedding venue owners/ event coordinators, and I have never come across someone like her. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Leading up to the day, Alison has an AMAZING online planner and resource guide which I used for every step of the wedding planning process. These are also resources I have never seen from another venue. I couldn't have planned this wedding in 2.5 months without these guides. On the day of the wedding, Alison and her team made sure every single detail was perfect. And it WAS. I will forever be grateful that Alison and the Wilds came into my life at a time I needed them most. My wedding was not the day I originally planned, but actually it was even better. Alison is Amazing! First, the venue is absolutely gorgeous. Nestled beside the state park, you cannot believe the views provided, the picturesque setting is perfect. Alison walked us through our entire process and was supportive the day of our wedding, keeping vendors in line and on task. She was a one woman wreaking crew tackling any and all things that popped up. She had amazing suggestions and was just a wonderful coach to have in your corner. The venue is immaculate, spacious and well thought out. Cannot recommend highly enough. We had such a perfect and memorable wedding!

Itâs been almost four weeks since my now-husband and I had our wedding at The Wilds. Iâve written and re-written this countless times, trying to find the perfect words to describe this incredible venue and its owners (Alison and Brian), staff, and associated vendors. My conclusion - there are no words! We booked The Wilds for our wedding sight-unseen after having to postpone our originally-scheduled wedding in Illinois. I spoke with Alison on the phone in May about their open dates in July, and after just a 30-minute phone call, I instantly knew our initially (so we thought) âruinedâ wedding plan was going to be such a blessing in disguise. And oh my goodness was it ever!!!!! Alison could not have been more gracious or genuine from the start. With just two months from booking to wedding day, she was SO organized and helpful in every single aspect of planning. Her recommendations were top-notch (One World Catering and Upland Brewing were amazing!!!) and her timely communication and willingness to answer ANY questions we had were unmatched. She and her team at The Wilds provided us with so many resources and ideas that I hadnât even thought of that were so helpful when it came to day-of worries. Alison, Brian, and their entire staff welcomed us with open arms from the start, without even knowing anything about us - and when we first met Alison and her husband in person the morning of our wedding day, I felt like we had already known them for so long. These people are seriously the BEST!!! If nothing else, book them just because theyâre great people that will make your entire experience as amazing as possible. Now to talk the venue itself. Honestly, just google âThe Wildsâ or scour their website and social media pages and let the pictures do the talking. The entire venue and surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking. No detail was overlooked when it came to the building, patio, huge ceremony pavilion, the bar, the bridal suite⊠even down to the gorgeous bathrooms! Every single guest at our wedding commented on how beautiful the whole place was. Our July 17th ceremony and reception couldnât have been more perfect. I know Iâm leaving so many things out, and Iâll read this tomorrow wishing I would have said more⊠leave it to me to still write a book! BUT, I couldnât recommend better people to work with, a better place to have a wedding, a better experience overall. The Wilds puts YOU at the center and your needs and desires over anything else. They truly want your day and entire wedding experience to be about YOU. Having worked with a previous venue for 6 months prior to making the last-minute switch, I can tell you without a doubt that The Wilds is truly second-to-none. Nothing is hidden from you from the start. An open and honest⊠I donât even want to call it business, because they make you feel more like family than just a client with a checkbook. Every step is taken to make sure your experience as a bride, groom, family member, or even guest is seamless and unmatched. The Wilds knows what they are doing, and I highly recommend them in every single aspect of what they do. 5 stars! 10 stars! 100 stars!!!!!

Where to begin? Alison & Brian are not only incredible, efficient & creative/innovative business owners, theyâre also genuinely kind & considerate human beings. From the moment we walked through the doors of The Wilds, they were welcoming & hospitable, excited to share their space with us & make it our home away from home for our big day. Alison set up Open Houses for us and other booked clients to come and see any updates to the space, dĂ©cor rentals in person, and to tackle beverage decisions with Upland all in one quick evening! She even let me attend two! :) When it came to postponing our May 16th wedding date to July 4th, Alison was incredibly helpful & never made it feel that the COVID situation was something we should feel bad about â our date was moved without question & we were so appreciative! On wedding day, Alison was there to ensure my bridesmaids & I were doing well and didnât need anything while getting ready, etc. & Alison even fluffed my dress as I exited the doors for my walk down the aisle. Brian wrapped up the evening with us & was just as attentive & helpful as his lovely wife. He even snapped some photos on his phone & was kind enough to send them to my husband. Alison truly became a friend over the course of our wedding planning & for that I am forever grateful for her and Brian & that we chose The Wilds as the location where weâd begin our lives together. Itâs easy to see why The Wilds should be your venue of choice â itâs beautiful! â but the incredible owners and staff make the decision even easier! Thank you, Brian & Alison! We got married in the middle of a global pandemic and from the moment I first spoke to Alison on the phone right up until we left the venue after our wedding, she and her team were there for us every step of the way. First let me just say that this venue is the stuff wedding dreams are made of. When I envisioned myself getting married this is the kind of place I always dreamed of. Every last detail of this place is perfect and beautiful. Next, I can't say enough about how accommodating and kind Alison, her husband, and the entire Wilds Team + preferred vendors were. I mean... talk about a group of people with hearts of gold! They are truly in this business because they want to love and serve others-- that was evident from the moment Alison and I met. We booked our venue in April for our wedding in June... after our original venue was closed due to Coronavirus. Alison welcomed us with open arms and worked tirelessly to find us the vendors we lost due to the pandemic. I could go on and on, but I'll leave it at this. David and I discovered the Wilds online when it was new. We went down to Bloomington for our tour, got lost, and ended elsewhere. Alison went above and beyond and had us on a FaceTime tour the next day. The venue was beautiful and we could tell that we clicked with Alison and she would help with our vision we had pictured for our big day. On our wedding day she again went above and beyond helping add her personal touches to our decor and checking in if I needed anything. She really does an amazing job of making you feel special on your big day! Brian also helped throughout the reception. These are people that you not only want as your venue owners but as friends. They are so down to earth and we had nothing but compliments on every encounter friends and family had with them!

The Wilds is a stellar venue for a wedding. The location is gorgeous and the structure is beautiful. The owners (Alison and Brian) are fastidious. Alison (the orchestrator of The Wilds) ensures that every detail of the venue rigorously adheres to your specifications. She is in constant communication with you leading up to the event. And she makes sure that there are backup plans for anything that comes up. For example, we had an alternate setting of tables and chairs inside in case rain prevented an outdoor wedding. She ensured that the vendors were all attended to on the day of the wedding. She brought me a diet coke as I was waiting in the groom's quarters! Brian offered to take a cup I was finished with out of my hand to throw it away; the trash can was two steps away. I cannot say enough about the quality of the venue and its owners. We were regularly told by others that it was the most fun wedding they ever attended. I'm sure the venue and the efforts of Alison and Brian had much to do with that. My (now) wife and I recommend this venue whole heartedly.

We could not have found a better venue than The Wilds. Not only is everything about the venue stunning, but the owners, Alison & Brian, take such great care of the people that book their venue. We were so welcomed without any pressure to book the venue at our initial tour, & after learning more about the venue & their services, we knew it was the only place we could imagine booking. Without Alison, I would have been a total mess (& complete bridezilla)! From the tour to the big day, she had both of our backs & made sure the entire day was executed exactly as we had hoped. Our parents got to enjoy the day just as much as we were able to with The Wilds restaurant-like service! We walked into the venue with everything already set up that we needed, & we were not stuck cleaning all night. It was such a pleasure getting to plan with Alison & use the venue to complete our dream wedding day. You would not regret booking with The Wilds!

There are not enough words to explain how amazing The Wilds is! It is a one of a kind place, there is nothing like it in this area! Alison, the owner of the venue, is beyond incredible. As a former Wedding photographer, she truly thought of everything when she and her husband built this venue! From the lighting in the bridal suite, to the little details in the mural room, the venue is truly a dream! (Your photos will be KILLER!) The Wilds has thought of everything, and they have created an easy and stress free experience planning for the big day. (Which is invaluable!)I could not be more grateful for Alison and this incredible venue that we will cherish forever, as it is where our adventure began!
