Inspired by the majestic tree that stands tall over the courtyard behind the large ballroom, The Willows at Historic Strasburg is a venue not to be missed. The twisting branches and dancing leaves of the curly willow that is our namesake capture the breeze that sweeps over the surrounding hills of Lancaster County. The Willows at Historic Strasburg can host a cozy intimate party or a large celebration in its charmed space, filled with roaring fireplaces and lofty ceilings. It's more than an event space - it's a storied destination within a beautiful landscape. Located in Strasburg, the property is home to the Fireside Tavern Restaurant which also offers private rooms for smaller events like rehearsal dinners and showers.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our daughter's wedding reception at the Willows, and especially the excellent service from Amanda Kramer, the coordinator for The Willows! From our first meeting, Amanda was kind, considerate, informative and ALWAYS on top of every detail. The day of the wedding was rainy, we had intended on doing an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, but the grounds were too wet for the chairs, so a last minute change was made to move indoors, all was set up beautifully in record time! Amanda was always available, I feel like she just instinctively knew when we needed her, because we would turn around and she would be there! Of course, the weather turned lovely, so servers continuously brought out trays of appetizers and drinks to the numerous guests who went outside to enjoy the sun! The servers were very attentive and friendly, and were always available when needed. The food at both the rehearsal dinner and the reception was fresh, hot, plentiful and delicious, we received numerous compliments from many of our guests. We had a wonderful experience at The Willows, and would highly recommend their venue for your special day!

We had an amazing experience with the Willows. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and our guests had amazing things to say about the venue, the food, and the entire flow of the night. The grounds were beautiful and made for gorgeous photos. We worked with Amanda who is a total gem. She was so communicative and accommodating throughout the entire planning process and was a lifesaver the day of. She seemingly though of everything. My fiance and I were both really excited for our cheese steak egg roll appetizers but missed them due to pictures and Amanda made sure we still got some. When I realized that I forgot our cake knife, she provided one, and when I brought some extra decor and said \"I have this but have no idea what to do with it, she made it fit seamlessly. She also consolidated everything into fewer boxes to allow for easier transport back home and packed up food for us to bring back to our hotel. The waitstaff was so friendly and attentive. I got so many comments about how above and beyond they went including jumping in for a quick assist when there was a spill by a younger guest and even stepping in to take photos for a guest when asked. If I had to plan my wedding over again, I would 1000% percent choose the willows again. I have the most amazing wedding memories and The Willows played a huge role in that. I am so grateful.

From day one Amanda was attentive to all my questions with quick responses via email. Food was absolutely amazing and had nothing but positive remarks from all the guest. They had everything set up perfectly the day of and clean up was a breeze as the staff helped package everything up at the close of the reception.

Wow! We were blown away with this venue! The service we received for our 100 person reception was unlike any other wedding I have ever attended. Amanda was wonderful to work with to create our 1920s theme wedding. We received MANY compliments on the food! Everything about this venue from the location, the staff and the food was simply amazing!

Amanda at The Willows was amazing to work with. It was an amazing day and Amanda made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Everything was perfect and everyone complimented us on how beautiful the venue looked and how amazing the food tasted. They couldn’t believe how great the food tasted. The service was amazing! The servers were always on top of it making sure empty glasses and plates were cleared off every table throughout the night. And Amanda always made sure throughout the night that we, the bride and groom, didn’t need anything. If we did she made sure to bring it to us directly. Amanda communicated with us throughout the entire time we were planning to have our reception at The Willows at Historic Strasburg. We had plenty of questions while planning our wedding and she always responded right away. I highly recommend The Willows at Historic Strasburg for your wedding.

Choosing the Willows for our daughter's wedding was one of the best decisions we ever made. The venue was beautiful and the food was amazing! Amanda was wonderful to work with...from the first time we met with her to the last hour of the wedding day. We appreciated her kindness, attention to detail and her prompt, patient answers to our many & sometimes repetitive questions. Choosing the Willows for our daughter's wedding was one of the best decisions we ever made. The venue was beautiful and the food was amazing! We had a great experience with the Willows right from the start! While searching for a reception venue, the Willows stood out as Amanda was prompt at communication without being overly pushy. Throughout the entire planning process, Amanda was responsive, thorough, and detail oriented. It was so easy and fun to work with her! The space is beautiful and our guests raved about the food!! My husband and I felt cared for all night, from Amanda checking in to bringing us drinks. She made it easy for my parents to clean up at the end of the night too. Could not recommend them enough!

We absolutely loved having our wedding here! Every aspect of planning was smooth and Amanda was beyond helpful! Our guests were raving about the food and everyone said they loved the ease of the venue with everything on site! The staff was extremely helpful, and made sure we could enjoy our night. We could not have chosen a better wedding venue for our special day. With an all inclusive package we didn't have to worry about a single thing. All of the set up and take down was taken care of for us, even the decorations that I made were carefully set out then packed up for us at the end of the night. The space was so beautiful that i would not have even needed my own decor if I didn't want to worry about it.Their event coordinator Amanda went above and beyond and made everything flow so nicely. From the moment we expressed interest in having our event there until the end of the night of our wedding she handled every detail perfectly. Her communication was always prompt and kind. The food was fantastic and everyone at the end of the night was saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had! We just could not be happier with our choice and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to plan a wedding in the future. After pricing out many different options, The Willows was the best value without having to perform set up and take down ourselves. All in all for approx 100 people for a buffet of amazing food and not having to worry about a single thing we spent around $9600 including the venue, decor, food, and drinks (we had a cash bar). It was worth every penny.

I can’t say enough about our experience here. We loved the location, people, food and cost! We had our ceremony in the romantic outdoor garden which was perfect. The reception hall was perfect for our smaller wedding as well (90ppl) with the bridal lounge just across the hall. The food was amazing, and you get a lot of options for sides. Our guest could not stop talking about how good everything they tried was!!! They were so accommodating as well to 2 of my guest who had very specific dietary restrictions. Most of all we couldn’t imagine how we would have gotten through the day without the day of planner Amanda and her amazing team! Seriously, they were so supportive, accommodating and on top of everything with the friendliest biggest smiles! It was raining that day and they were so on top of getting chairs and tables dried and everything set up on time for us, while even setting up the backup indoor location just in case. Amanda checked in with us all day and night to be sure we had everything covered and didn’t need anything. Even our guest commented how impressed they were at how on top of things she and the entire team was, and the cost was perfect, unlike other venues they don’t try to be ridiculous because it’s a wedding. I can’t say enough about our experience here. We loved the location, people, food and cost! We had our ceremony in the romantic outdoor garden which was perfect. The reception hall was perfect for our smaller wedding as well (90ppl) with the bridal lounge just across the hall. The food was amazing, and you get a lot of options for sides. Our guest could not stop talking about how good everything they tried was!!! They were so accommodating as well to 2 of my guest who had very specific dietary restrictions. Most of all we couldn’t imagine how we would have gotten through the day without the day of planner Amanda and her amazing team! Seriously, they were so supportive, accommodating and on top of everything with the friendliest biggest smiles! It was raining that day and they were so on top of getting chairs and tables dried and everything set up on time for us, while even setting up the backup indoor location just in case. Amanda checked in with us all day and night to be sure we had everything covered and didn’t need anything. Even our guest commented how impressed they were at how on top of things she and the entire team was, and the cost was perfect, unlike other venues they don’t try to be ridiculous because it’s a wedding. This venue for my wedding and reception was a dream come true. The venue was beautiful and elegant in every way. Amanda was the day of coordinator and she was absolutely the best….she was professional and very attentive/helpful. She and her staff worked very hard to make my day the best and went above and beyond to make it happen. The food was delicious and many of my guest expressed how they loved the food and location. I highly recommend this establishment for weddings….you will not be disappointed!

My daughter and her husband had their wedding and reception at The Willows at Historic Strasburg. What a wonderful venue!! We could not have been happier with the day. Amanda and her team were simply phenomenal! The rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception were everything we imaged and more. We had about 155 people at the ceremony and reception. The reception space was plenty large enough to accommodate our group. Every food item served at both the rehearsal dinner and the reception were delicious and plentiful. Many wedding venues come with a reputation of subpar food. The Willows is by far an exception to this reputation. The serving staff, specifically Bridget, also paid close attention to specific foods and drinks that the bride, groom, and their families were consuming throughout the weekend. During the reception and rehearsal, serving staff made sure these folks always had their preferred drink in their hand. This was a very personal touch! I will note that we had small gluten-free cake for the bride and groom to cut which was supposed to be then cut for the guests. Somehow that got overlooked even though it was indicated on the BEO. A very minor detail as there were plenty of other desserts, just not GF. I apologized to the groom and the other affected guests. They were very understanding and said they had filled up on the delicious food from dinner and didn’t need dessert! I should have been on top of it earlier than I was. We had 8 females getting hair and makeup done in the bridal suite throughout the morning of the wedding day. The setup for the suite worked perfect for our group. There were two smaller dressing rooms that were used for hair and makeup. The rest of the group hung out in the suite which had plenty of seating, music, a bathroom, and a food serving area. Amanda was very helpful throughout the planning process to ensure that my daughter’s wishes were fulfilled for her day. Amanda was also very visible throughout the wedding day to make sure everything went according to plan! Her communication with the vendors was impeccable and she was pivotal in reducing last minute questions that were directed to the bride on her wedding day. As we saw the temperature for the wedding day rising a few days prior to the wedding (95 degrees), Amanda also accommodated a last-minute request to distribute ice cold water to the wedding guests during the ceremony. Not only was Amanda a wonderful coordinator; she even bartended, served, and cleared plates as necessary to make sure our day stayed on schedule. Amanda was extremely attentive to the bridal suite during the morning of the wedding to make sure we always had everything we needed to remain stress-free! The Willows is the perfect all-in-one venue. Some wedding guests also ventured down to the Fireside for the after party which was an added onsite perk! I would highly recommend The Willows for your dream wedding day!

Amanda is responsive, attentive, and accommodating, and her attention to detail throughout the planning process & day of is top notch. They were nothing but gracious with COVID decisions, keeping us informed to help us make the best decisions for us, & the rescheduling process. Our day itself was perfect - from consistently making sure we (and our bridal party/parents) were fed & taken care of to Amanda's eye for initial placement & rearranging of decorations throughout the evening, everyone went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. The food was highly praised by our guests & our other vendors even commented that it was one of if not the best food they've had to eat at a wedding! If you are considering The Willows, you will not be disappointed in your experience & having our wedding and reception here was the best investment we made for our wedding.

What can I say.. The Willows, and especially Amanda, were phenomenal! They know exactly what they are doing and handled the set up, event order, and more for me. There was not a single moment on the day of the wedding that I felt stressed or overwhelmed because Amanda had everything under control. The ceremony and reception venue were beautiful. There are hotels and everything you would need as a guest on site. I'm fact, many of our guests commented on how perfect the location is. To top it all off, the food from the Fireside Tavern is delicious. We've eaten there a few times and have never been disappointed. I would 100% recommend this venue.

We had booked it at the end of 2019 and Amanda was extremely helpful throughout the pandemic up until our wedding day. The Willows had the best food, many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had, the gold decor was perfect for my theme, and again Amanda was the perfect coordinator, so responsive and helpful. I could not recommend this place more, I wish I could get married again to just have another wedding at the Willows!

Worth the wait! #BLTN2021 (Better Late Than Never). My husband and I have known each other since high school. We spent decades almost dating and then not. Finally in January 2018 we began dating and were engaged in November, 2019. Our wedding was to be 8.14.2020...well COVID made us wait an extra year. While we had already wed legally, we were very anxious to have our ceremony with friends and family on 8.13.2021. The Willows was WELL worth the wait. We had a magical experience that was one we nor our guests will soon forget. The venue was gorgeous. Our event coordinator from the Willows, Amanda, could not have been more helpful, patient, and thorough. She has an eye for detail and made me feel like ours was the only wedding the Willows was concerned about...I know that to be untrue, but what an amazing level of care and personalized attention was lavished on us. I simply can't say enough about the beauty of the venue, deliciousness of the food, and attentiveness of the service staff and their coordinator, Amanda. We were told over and over as our guests headed out that ours was the best wedding they had ever attended...while we would like to take the credit, it was due to the professionalism and unparalleled commitment to excellence of your venue, The Willows at Historic Strasburg.

Amanda and the entire Willows Team was amazing throughout the entire process. After originally having a date set in November of 2020 to cancelling and then rebooking on our 1 year anniversary. She kept everything organized and professional and organized. Dropped off our decor the day before event and 2 hours later had 75 percent of everything set up and looking better than we could of imagined. She handled an issue we had with a vendor and was resolved by 10 am the morning of our event. She was attentive throughout the day to my wife, myself and our entire bridal parties needs throughout the day. She was great with food allergies, and making adjustments so that all our friends and family could enjoy. We even had a friend who could never eat at weddings because the food always contained gluten but ours was the first wedding she could actually eat, and enjoyed the entire plate. We are so happy that we chose this as our venue. It was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue in the Lancaster area.

She was attentive throughout the day to my wife, myself and our entire bridal parties needs throughout the day. She was great with food allergies, and making adjustments so that all our friends and family could enjoy. We even had a friend who could never eat at weddings because the food always contained gluten but ours was the first wedding she could actually eat, and enjoyed the entire plate. We are so happy that we chose this as our venue. It was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue in the Lancaster area.

She was very quick in responding to phone calls and emails and clearly answered all of my questions.The banquet room is very nice and the food was delicious. We had dinner scheduled for a certain time but once we got there realized we could have it served 45 minutes earlier and Amanda ensured this which was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for a rehearsal dinner. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back here to eat in the restaurant as we have never been here before but have heard good things from several friends and family.

We can not say enough about Amanda and her team at The Willows! From planning to finish Amanda’s attention to detail, friendly demeanor, thoroughness and organization helped keep us on schedule and ensure nothing was missed all while making our big day unforgettable! Everyone commented on how good the food was, and the beautiful and warm decor and lighting. Service was great during the bridal suite moments getting ready and through the reception. We had a small intimate ceremony with just immediate family followed by a large reception if 135. We had a few requests such as a surprise 70th birthday cake for my dad which Amanda had everything scheduled and accommodated, to some other requests which Amanda and the owners accommodated as well for additional costs even though not done previously. Amanda also took control and redirected the rehearsal from officiant when things started to get off track (thank you!). Most people getting married have never given a wedding before so it can be very overwhelming and stressful. Amanda and her team helped us through a lot of the decision making, assisting us with suggestions and direction that was invaluable due to her expertise. It was a big help!We were even asked the number of rooms staying at the accompanied hotels so the could staff the tavern fir our afterparty appropriately! I look over well after the wedding and there’s Amanda checking with the bartenders! They were very organized and their staff is fantastic. In my dual roles as the Mother of the Bride and Decor Designer, they made it easy for me to do my job AND enjoy my daughter's wedding! The bridal dressing area is especially nice, with a big fireplace and lots of seating. The venue is very pretty, and has ample space for guests to mingle without feeling they are on top of one another. The courtyard area with the gazebo was gorgeous with its tasteful plantings and pots. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we really appreciated the server bringing appetizers to us outside as we were getting pictures taken. Many attendees expressed that this was the best wedding reception they had every attended.

What a beautiful venue! The Willows exceeded my expectations. Their facility was the perfect spot for our ceremony and reception. Their staff was on top of everything. The evening went smoothly. Everything had been cleaned up and boxed up before our eyes. It was seamless and efficient. I do have to thank Amanda who came to the rescue when my mother in law's dress would not zipper. She carefully secured her dress with safety pins so that she could enjoy the evening. Many many thanks to the staff at the Willows!

Our son's wedding was this past weekend and we held our rehearsal dinner at the Willows. From the first time we met with Amanda Kramer and her staff until the end of the rehearsal dinner evening, we were treated like royalty. They were always prompt with responding to any questions or changes. The room was absolutely gorgeous and very elegant. Over all the dining experience was wonderful and Amanda and her staff were amazing. Obviously, I would highly recommend having any event at the Willows or the Fireside Tavern!

Anne Marie T. Our son and daughter-in-law planned their wedding at The Willows, and we followed suit for the rehearsal dinner. To say it was superb would be an understatement. The food was on point, and the service was impeccable. The venue itself is charming and cozy with just enough pizazz. Amanda was so attentive that we were convinced there were two of her, as she was always at hand. Service from the rest of the staff was equally wonderful.We continued the celebration at the Fireside Inn where were again met by a warm atmosphere and above-board service.We cannot express just how wonderful our experience was and highly recommend this venue.

The entire staff we worked with at the Willows were friendly, accommodating and very professional. The venue was perfect for the rehearsal dinner we hosted. There was plenty of room for all our guests and the food was absolutely wonderful. One of our most difficult decisions was which menu items to select because they all looked really good. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a great place for any activity they wanted to host.

Amanda was a pleasure to work with. We had to make last minute changes due to the chapel being relocated we were to have our ceremony in and she was able to accommodate us. She was patient and very helpful even when we had to make the decision to move our outdoor cocktail hour inside due to the rainstorm. They were very accommodating about all of our allergies for our guests as well. Definitely recommend.

I can not say enough about the Willows at Fireside Inn. Amanda made our daughter and son in laws dreams come true. And yes this Mother of the Bride is elated. From start to finish our experience was a 10!! The owners were great, the food was wonderful and we even had the buffet. We have had so many compliments and asked how we found the Willows. Thank you Amanda for giving us so much of your time. Our guest even complimented your efforts. The outside and inside is beautiful. The best Memorial Day weekend ever!!

We had an amazing wedding day, especially thanks to Amanda! From the first time we met with her, she was incredibly helpful and prompt in answering any questions via email or by phone. Amanda went above and beyond on our wedding day, as we needed to move cocktail hour inside the day of our wedding. She is attentive and thoughtful, she even sent a tray of h’ors deuveres out to our bridal party while we were taking pictures during cocktail hour and she noticed immidiately when I had frosting on my dress from cake cutting! The Willows was in the process of being renamed during our wedding and was renamed 3 months prior to our wedding day. It is a gorgeous, whimsical ballroom, perfect for any couple searching for a elegant wedding venue! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how AMAZING the food was! We opted to have a buffet, and food was excellent. The Willows is a very accommodating venue, I was able to add everything I wanted to our wedding day to make it special and unique.We feel very fortunate to have had Amanda as our wedding coordinator and are so thankful we chose The Willows as our venue!

We had our rehearsal dinner and our reception here. Amanda was amazing and took care of everything!!! She was very responsive to any questions that I had. The food at the Willows was one of the things my guests are still talking about, three weeks after the wedding. I am so glad that this was the wedding venue we choose. We choose buffet food and I’ve I didn’t have a single guest out of 142 people complain about the food. Buffet can be hard! The whole planning process was made so easy thanks to Amanda’s hard work! From our rehearsal dinner, to all day in the bridal suite followed by our ceremony & reception there wasn’t a single issue! If you want a venue with a great price attached to many extras such as a great planner, smiling quick bartenders & a beeuifful venue... the willows is your best choice!

Fabulous venue and staff! I planned our son's rehearsal dinner from 4hr away with ease. The entire event was done flawlessly from planning, service and kitchen staff. I made one trip to view the venue and book the event, Amanda took it from there. I made an unscheduled visit to area and made a special request from Fireside Kitchen staff for item on banquet menu before final choice was made for menu. They accommodated my request without hesitation. If I lived closer to the area I would book all special events with The Willows and when we are in the area I will definitely be going to Fireside Tavern to eat. A huge Thank You to The Willows staff for a wonderful evening.

My Daughter had a wonderful wedding day due in large part to the wedding co-ordinator, Amanda, and her very accommodating staff. Everything was spelled out for us with no surprises. Amanda had patience and answered all of our questions as they occurred to us in a timely fashion. She helped us set a timeline leading up to the wedding as well as a realistic schedule for the day of the wedding. She was able to accommodated the arrival time of our vendors. We appreciated being allowed to bring table arrangements and favors in to the venue more than a week before the wedding and finding everything placed on the tables beautifully when we arrived at the reception. The food was tasty, hot and presented nicely. She and her staff were available all evening long and often checked in with us to see how things were going and if any assistance was necessary, but there never was. They certainly went way beyond meeting our expectations. It was a pleasure from beginning to end and I am delighted to give The Willows a 5 star review.

Fireside was great from start to finish and Amanda was excellent. The ballroom was stunning and very comfortably fit our 150 wedding guests. Amanda and the staff made sure that all of our personal touches were incorporated into the beautiful decor and everything looked above and beyond expectations. The food was incredible and I highly suggest making sure the tomato bisque is on the menu for everything at Fireside. Many of our guests mentioned that our wedding at Fireside was one of the nicest they had been to and had a wonderful time. I would recommend this venue to everyone.

From our first meeting with Amanda to our final hug from Amanda Saturday night, we were so pleased that this review will never convey our emotions and feelings of this experience. What we wanted with our wedding and reception, we had three goals... Quality, professional and most important, no surprises! Amanda and her staff delivered!!! She will make sure your day is beyond PERFECT & eliminate all of your worries. We had the most magical day, all of the staff was lovely, cocktail hour was spectacular, and the food at the reception was to die for. Amanda was so attentive during the reception, and before we could ask her for something- she was already making sure it happened. We would choose the Fireside Tavern 100 times over again- it was the greatest decision we made!

I cannot say enough about the FIRESIDE TAVERN staff, and the exceptional service they provided for our daughter Lindsey's wedding reception. Owning our own business for 25 years and being a bit of a \"control freak\" I was worried how things would look, and, having heard horror stories of friends weddings , I was prepared to have at least some things go wrong at the reception. Well, not at the Fireside Tavern! Amanda, who is the coordinator, was fabulous! She made the weeks and days leading up to the wedding pain free, fun and kept everything on track. The day of the wedding she took care of everything for us, we had NO worries at all. The ballroom looked like a picture from a fairytale with the chandeliers, huge candelabras, extra lighting, hundreds of votive candles, the gold chairs, linens and more! The staff took care of setting up all of our wedding favors for our guests, thank you cards on the gold chargers, a memory table of our loved ones in heaven and a cigar bar we had for guests. The lobby was so inviting when guests first entered the area. Every guest (we had over 230), raved about the delicious appetizers served outside in the gorgeous courtyard, food, desserts and service they received. Every server was smiling, polite, and catering to our every need. We chose crab cakes, apricot salmon, and steak for our main dishes on the buffet. I'm still getting texts and calls RAVING about how good all the food was. We did a dessert buffet as well, which I would highly recommend, it was displayed beautifully. We chose to do the extra hour and I'm so thankful we did that, the day goes by so quickly as it is. We also had a fireworks display as a surprise for our daughter, son-in-law and guests. Amanda saw to it that everything was taken care of with that and that it was at the right \"timing\" of the evening. All in all, I would do this day over in a heartbeat working with the entire staff at the FireSide Tavern. We are so so thankful we ended up choosing this venue over about 9 others we researched. All in all, I would do this day over in a heartbeat working with the entire staff at the FireSide Tavern. We are so so thankful we ended up choosing this venue over about 9 others we researched. We could have not asked for a better venue! The staff was attentive, friendly, and personable. Everything was exceptional from the room set up, to the food and drink! The views were spectacular which made for some great photos and memories. Would highly recommend Fireside Tavern to any couple!

The Fireside is an AMAZING place for a wedding reception. My husband and I had wanted a more traditional reception (aka not in a barn or a tent) but had trouble finding places in Lancaster that were nice but not exhorbitantly expensive. The Fireside was within our budget and checked off all our boxes. Amanda, the coordinator, was fantastic. She answered all our questions right away and made sure we understood all the details of the package we chose. They include among other things a modest centerpiece, table numbers, a champagne toast, linens, and a free room for the wedding night. There were no hidden fees or little extra costs (like cake cutting) that other places had tried to sneak in. And THE FOOD. SO GOOD. My family has been to a LOT of weddings, and they said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Everyone was raving about it! And we only got one of the cheaper packages. They even boxed up for for my husband and I since we didn't eat much. The setup was easy too. We gave them all our placecards, favors, cake, and guestbooks things, and they set it all up for us. Amanda in particular makes sure that you don't have a thing to worry about on the big day. I wouldn't have changed a single thing, and I haven't heard a single complaint from any guests (and our families can be quite opinionated!).If you're getting married in Lancaster, and want somewhere elegant, affordable, and accommodating, LOOK INTO THE FIRESIDE.

I can't say enough positive comments about the Fireside Tavern where we had my daughter's wedding reception. Amanda, the coordinator was professional, and gave us superior service to make the whole event come together beautifully. The grounds and banquet hall proved to be a unique, elegant setting for the event, and most importantly, the food was amazing! We had never had food like this at any event, and our guests commented that it was the best wedding food that they had ever had. I can't recommend the Fireside highly enough - you won't be disappointed!

The Fireside team literally went above and beyond in preparing for and running our wedding day. Amanda, Steve, Dave, Steph, and Chad (the Fireside team) assured that the food was prepared perfectly, the room was decorated exactly as we discussed, my husband and I were happy/fed/where we needed to be, and that things went off without a hitch. We got married at our church, but used the Fireside bridal suite for the girls to get ready, and for our cocktail hour and reception. Amanda brought anything we needed to the suite for the girls in the morning when getting ready. The suite is perfect for prep--plenty of light, mirrors, seats and space! Our cocktail hour was initially outside in the courtyard--gorgeous shrubs and flowers, a cocktail bar and the appetizers all just worked out there! A storm began to form so the team moved everyone/everything inside seamlessly. Our reception was fabulous. Amanda checked in with my husband and I a few times to ensure things were going well and that we had drinks and were content. Guests have complimented the food multiple times since our wedding day. The steak and salmon were perfectly prepared! The Fireside ballroom is beautiful without needing much done to it...gold accents (chandeliers, chairs, mirrors, fireplace). We were able to meet with the Fireside earlier in the week to go over all of our details of decorations and some of it we left up the Fireside's opinion/discretion. We were so so pleased with the layout of the ballroom and where everything was placed! We can't say enough GREAT things about the Fireside as a destination for your wedding. It is also flanked on either side by hotels making it super easy for guests to book a room the night of your wedding. A majority of our guests moved to the Fireside restaurant/bar for drinks/snacks after the reception ended. We would highly recommend the Fireside to any couple who is looking for a gorgeous, delicious and FUN wedding location!

What a wonderful place! We held our son & daughter in laws wedding rehearsal here. Beautiful private room, wonderful food/service. We really enjoyed the evening from start to finish! We had a group of 38 and the Lancaster room was just the right size with separate room for the bar and restroom on the same floor.Planning was a breeze as emails were answered quickly and pleasantly. I would highly recommend the Fireside Tavern.

As the parents of the groom, we hosted our rehearsal dinner at The Fireside Tavern in Strasburg, PA with a party of 32 people. There are simply not enough favorable adjectives to describe the night and the overall experience! Amanda addressed all of our questions and concerns promptly and professionally. We felt we were in good hands right from the start. As the event got closer the contact with her was more frequent and details were handled perfectly. She made sure we were comfortable with everything from the time frame to the menu choices and all the way to the desserts. As for the food itself, we had nothing but excellent comments from our guests and we could not have been happier. Service, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff were all top notch. If you need a venue to host your party in that area, The Fireside Tavern will not disappoint! It will only make your event that much better!

From the second I received information about the Fireside Tavern, I knew it was the place I wanted to get married, even before seeing it. After seeing it, there was no doubt in my mind. This place is gorgeous. They made the planning process so simple. Before booking, you knew exactly what you were getting for your money. There are no words to describe their awesome wedding coordinator, Amanda. She knew what I needed even before I needed it. I was a very low-maintenance bride, but I have no doubt in my mind that she wouldn’t be able to keep up with any person’s vision for their wedding day. We utilized their bridal lounge beginning at 9am in the morning, and she was there and cheerful, asking if we needed anything. She never missed a beat, all day. The food was indescribable… amazing, good, fantastic, delectable, delicious. They offer very basic centerpieces, and believe me when I say, this place does not need any centerpieces to look gorgeous. I don’t think my wedding day could have gone any smoother, and I owe it all to Amanda. She’s truly one-of-a-kind. Toward the end of the night, she looked like she was having more fun than some of my guests. Additionally, the staff was phenomenal. Always smiling and kind. The bartenders were friendly and eventually knew my sister’s name by the end of the night. I have no bad words or experiences for this place. Also, as a plus, since the Fireside Tavern is a restaurant and bar, you and your guests can head over to the bar after the reception and finish the night off with more drinking! And after your done drinking the night away, you can stumble across the parking lot to 2 extremely close hotels. Also, the Strasburg Railroad (and Museum) is close and offers a great backdrop for a first look or other pictures. If you want your guests to have a great time, great food and drinks, and have the whole wedding experience be stress-free, then the Fireside Tavern is your best option!!

We had our daughter and son-in laws reception at the Fireside Tavern on August 6, 2016. We have nothing but GREAT things to say about this location as well as the staff. Stephanie and Amanda were very responsive to our emails and phone calls throughout the planning process. As we got closer to the date and the day of the wedding and reception Amanda was VERY attentive and accommodating to the many questions concerns my daughter and or I had. When we delivered the items for the decorations (centerpieces and other decorations) and the many tables for the names for seating, memory table, as well as the display of their unity sand from the ceremony, Amanda was very patient and made notes of every detail. When we arrived at the reception everything was set up perfectly exactly as my daughter had visioned/requested. Fireside Tavern offers items that can be used for centerpieces which we used, but we also included other items to be used in conjunction with what they offered. We selected the buffet for the reception, and Fireside Tavern offered two buffet tables to allow all of the guests to get their food in a more timely manner. We heard many positive comments about the double buffet tables. In addition we had nothing but positive and rave reviews from the guests about the food. The food quality and quantity was great. Even with the buffet our daughter and son in law were served their meals and they did not need to go through the buffet which was a great plus for them. At the end of the evening Amanda boxed food for them to be able to eat later since she knew that the Bride/Groom often do not get the chance to really enjoy their meal on their special day! ALL and ALL it was a PERFECT DAY! I would (and have already) recommend Fireside Tavern to anyone and or everyone who asks for a recommendation for a wedding and or reception venue. Again, I cannot say enough positive about the entire experience for our daughter and son in laws reception.

Amanda Kramer (Coordinator) Amanda Kramer joined the team in back in 2009. As the Wedding Coordinator she works closely with couples to make their day memorable and outstanding! She loves getting to know each couple and finds out what is important to them to make their day perfect. She works tirelessly to orchestrate the event and make all the details come off without a hitch. Her attention to detail is what makes the day go flawlessly.
