The Winfield Inn is a historic wedding venue located in Kyle, TX. Nestled on 33 acres shaded by grand oak trees, this vintage-style mansion has been a celebrated part of Hays County since 1884. Boasting vintage architectural design combined with Southern charm, this property is ideal for milestone celebrations.
The Winfield can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests, with smaller gatherings also facilitated. You and your partner can exchange vows under the Garden Gazebo, featuring a brick pathway and soft ambient lighting. The front of The Winfield Inn itself is another stylish ceremony setting, with the venue’s surrounding grand oak trees and lush greenery offering an idyllic backdrop for wedding photos. The Garden Ballroom, complete with French Empire chandeliers and Swarovski-crystal wall lighting, is an elegant location for dinner and dancing as the evening progresses. It can also serve as a rain plan so no need to spend extra on a tent. In cold weather we can enclose it with clear plastic sides to keep it at a comfortable temperature.
A spacious wedding suite is also provided, with separate get-ready rooms to allow you and your beloved to prepare for your special day with ease.
In addition to weddings, The Winfield Inn can host an array of related events. We work with your coordinator to facilitate engagement parties, wedding showers, and rehearsal dinners, with post-wedding celebrations also included.
We do not offer catering services so you can bring in your own approved caterer, florist etc. We have round tables, farmhouse tables, white folding chairs and cross back chairs.
The main house is available for the bride and bridesmaids to ready in, upstairs with a beautiful sun porch, perfect for doing hair and make up. Groom and groomsmen can use the downstairs to get ready in or they heave the option to rent our spacious game room complete with a pool table, foosball, bar and TV. To book a tour, just call or text the owner at 512-917-8734 or email lesliemaurice@mac.com
When my husband and I first drove up to The Winfield Inn, we immediately fell in love with the charm and uniqueness that the property offers. After touring the property with the owner, we decided this was the special place we wanted to tie the knot, so we quickly signed the paperwork and sent our deposit to secure our Friday wedding date. Initially, I felt very confident in the owner, Leslie, and was extremely excited to be working with him. That all changed in the few months leading up to our wedding date. My husband and I discussed with Leslie in person, on two separate occasions and once via email, about us staying the Thursday night before our wedding and having our bridal party stay in the various beds/bedrooms on the property. When Leslie called us the week before our wedding to finalize everything, he claimed that he had no idea we were having other people come and stay and proceeded to tell me it was “a misunderstanding on your part” and that he would require not only an extra one thousand dollars, but that the cottage, that was set to house half of our party, did not have running hot water. We were left to scramble at the last minute to find a new place for our family.Fast forward to the Thursday before our wedding: we get there after the 3pm check in time to start setting up and decorating, and the pavilion is a wreck. The ceiling and walls were caked in dirt, there were leaves and dirt all over the floor and the tables were not set up, as per our contract. We did not complain, just grabbed the broom and swept and set the tables up ourselves. The next day, we were left scrambling for trash bags (per our contract, the venue supplied trash bags), there were strings of lights that were out, and there was a dead bird in the pavilion. As the evening went on, the owner Leslie, showed up towards the last few hours of our reception and proceeded to bombard our day of coordinator with questions about trash clean up and haul off, after we had already informed him that we hired people to take care of everything. We did not notice until a few days later, that Leslie had sent my husband an email on the night of our wedding stating that we should “go ahead and send him $250 for clean up.” It did not end there. A week later, my husband reached out to Jack, the property manager, to ask about a few missing items we thought might have been left on the property. Jack then informed us that one of our guests had popped a balloon with confetti in it, in the grass, in which he stated we should “bring a vacuum” to clean it up. Once my husband confronted him with the various issues we had that previous week at our wedding, Jack quickly turned the blame to the owner saying that “Leslie is in over his head at times.” The amount of unprofessionalism shown by these two men was, and still is, extremely disappointing. The owner was clearly unorganized and would frequently confuse me with the Saturday bride. My husband and I were questioned on whether we made our deposit and final payment the week before our wedding and requested receipts. I found out a few weeks after my wedding, that the owner was trying to blame me, as the bride, for the lack of basic housekeeping for his business (bedsheets changed, beds made, toilets scrubbed, floors swept and mopped). It has taken me a few months to write this review because every time I thought about my wedding, it would bring negative reminders of the unnecessary stress and issues that were added by the venue. I am now able to focus on the only positive, which is marrying my husband. The Winfield Inn is an extremely unique and gorgeous property, but the owner and property manager, in my opinion, are not worth the money, or stress. Until the owner hires someone to take over management, I will not be recommending this venue to anyone in the near future. Reviewed on 09-01-2024

I wish more people knew about this hidden gem of a venue. I knew I wanted an outdoor venue, but I am not a rustic, barn bride. The Winfield is the perfect garden party wedding space- covered in green trees and sparkling edison lights. The gazebo made for a perfect sweetheart table spot for my husband and I to have dinner tucked away from the crowd. We had our ceremony in the front yard of the historic home on the property. just absolutely stunning. There was some personnel changes at the company a few months before my wedding and that made me very stressed and overwhelmed- I was so worried that our wedding was going to be swept under the rug or forgotten about. The grounds are stunning, the catering (from our taste test with Word of Mouth) is absolutely delicious, pricing is incredibly reasonable, and the team is extremely professional and easy to work with. Most of all, we loved how unique the location was and how flexible and open Leslie was to all our suggestions. He could not have been more accommodating, creative and eager to personalize our event. Planning a wedding from another country can be a challenge (I live in Newfoundland, Canada). It took me 4 trips to Texas to select my venue. I stumbled across The Winfield while looking through a bridal magazine on my return flight home from my 3rd trip. I fell in love, and knew this was exactly what I was looking for in a venue....a beautiful outdoor ballroom, gorgeous oak trees, a beautiful white southern vintage home. I immediately booked another trip back to see it in person and was not disappointed! The property is stunning..everything I dreamed of. It is the most perfect backdrop for a gorgeous southern fairytale wedding! The owner met with us, Leslie, and I cannot speak highly enough about him. He is the sweetest man I have ever met (aside from my husband, of course!). Leslie makes it his personal mission to give you everything you want. His team is wonderful, Andrea was our coordinator and she's so easy to deal with. She was very responsive to my many, many, emails. As I wasn't there to make selections such as linens, napkins, chargers, she took pictures of everything and gave me her honest opinion. We used their preferred vendor list and we are so glad we did, our vendors were the absolute best to work with. The day was extremely well organized, and The Winfield Inn and Word of Mouth staff ensured everything ran seamlessly. I cannot forget about the food.... oh my lanta, their food is divine! Our guests have not stopped commenting since our wedding on how unbelievably delicious the food was. The cake was so moist and flavorful, not to mention beautiful. We selected their full bar package, and it was so worth it. Very reasonably priced, and I'm 100% certain they make the BEST mojito I have ever tasted! Our wedding turned out more beautiful that I could have ever imagined it would. Ashley Vernon(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-09-2016 Our review is twofold: one for the Winfield Inn as a venue and one for its amazing coordinators, Laura and Bre. The overall atmosphere of the Winfield Inn is what sold us on booking it for our wedding venue. The grounds are stunning and offer versatility in where to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception set up. Additionally, getting ready in the bridal suite and groom’s quarters was a HUGE added bonus for us. Plus, our first look photos taken on the breathtaking upstairs patio overlooking the grounds was more than anything we could have asked for. Laura and Bre made the entire wedding planning process utterly painless. They answered our (MANY) emails from the moment we booked the Winfield Inn up until the day before the wedding. Laura and Bre were fantastic at listening to our ideas and requests, accommodating them to the best of their abilities, and offering feedback and suggestions to things they thought might be more feasible. They truly helped us transform our vision into a beautiful reality. During our ceremony there was an unexpected rainshower and Laura and Bre were able to adapt to the situation and transition our guests into a seamless, on-the-spot rain plan. We chose to utilize their expertise for our rehearsal and day of coordination and we were not disappointed. From start to finish our event was flawless and stress free. Amber Gerken(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-11-2015 After looking at about 10 venues in the course of a month, the Winfield Inn was our last stop, and we honestly didn't expect to like it. The photos on their old website did not do them justice. The trees on the grounds are majestic and the house has a wonderful antique feel that reminded me of my grandma. It is BEAUTIFUL! Once we arrived for our tour, the coordinators showed us around, typical of any venue, but then sat us down to and took the time to talk about our wedding ideas.... out of all the venues, the girls at the Winfield were the ONLY ONES who seemed genuinely interested in what we wanted our special day to be like. The prices have gone up since we booked, but honestly, the quality of everything we experienced is worth it. Their venue includes pricing for food, chairs, tables, ceremony and reception sites, and house use. We were even able to rent the house the night before our wedding so my bridesmaids and I didn't have to worry about traveling the day of. They update your estimate as you go, so there are no surprises. They put serious effort into working with any budget. They offer quarterly food tastings from their caterer, which is all delicious. The mini tacos are the BEST! Even with their busy schedules the coordinators had excellent communication and made me feel like my questions/concerns were important. They all worked so hard to make our day perfect. Even with some of my (almost) bridezilla moments, the coordinators at the Winfield stayed so calm and positive! Natalie Yingling(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-05-2015 Let me just say, The Winfield Inn is absolutely beautiful, and we had a great time at our wedding. Here's my only complaint about the Winfield Inn: I got married 5/24/15 during some of the flooding that was happening in the surrounding area (the Winfield Inn is not near any rivers or lakes) . The day ended up being sunny with no rain. The county had issued a 9pm curfew. My dad had spoken to the Sheriff's office, and they said because the wedding was a private event, we were not subject to the curfew. Then, while we were getting ready, the coordinator told us that our wedding would have to end two hours early because the owner wanted to go along with curfew. Well, ok.. It was very disappointing considering there was not any major flooding in the area that day (most of the flooding happened the following days), but I guess I can't fault him on that. However, my family and I didn't feel like the amount of money we were refunded was adequate considering we missed out on a third of the time we had paid for. It basically covered the cake and cake cutting (which I don't even think happened since it ended so early). For instance, my mom had requested/paid for coffee to be served towards the end of the reception, and there wasn't really time, but we weren't refunded for it. \r\rThere were a few other thing: They said they would make us our own tier to go home with to freeze for our one-year anniversary, but all we got were to slices of cake in a to-go box. Also, our package came with a dinner for two where they serve you the food you picked out for your wedding. No one contacted us to schedule that, and I forgot it was included because no one called to ask when we wanted that, etc.\r\rAll and all, I thought the Winfield in would have been a better value.\r Reviewed on 15-06-2015

Natalie Fabe(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-04-2015 Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! If I could give the Winfield Inn a million stars, I would. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous venue or the amazing staff who make every step of the planning process so smooth. We live in NYC and planned our entire wedding from out of town, so after seeing (and falling in love with) this venue once, almost a year and a half before our wedding, we did everything else remotely, and I absolutely cannot imagine having pulled this off without the incredible help and support of Meg, Laura, and the entire staff. First, let me address the venue itself: it is simply stunning. My husband (husband! eee! we are newlyweds and it is very exciting) and I checked out about 10 different venues in the Austin area before seeing the Winfield Inn. The second we stepped foot onto the property, we fell in love with it. We almost hadn't gone to visit because I had assumed that it would cost too much, but it turned out that after taking everything into account (make sure to do an apples-to-apples comparison while you're comparing venues! it's not just about the venue cost -- you have to take into account everything else, including servers and bartenders, tables & chairs, linens, setup & breakdown, taxes, tips, etc.), this was very much within our price range, which was a wonderful realization. The venue itself is absolutely GORGEOUS -- from the sprawling grounds to the house where you'll get ready, everything feels like it's straight out of a fairy tale. And the second piece of what makes the Winfield Inn so incredible, which I cannot overstate -- THE STAFF! Meg, Laura, and everyone who works at the Winfield Inn just go above and beyond at every turn to be helpful and to ensure that your wedding day will be beautiful. They're not wedding planners, so if you're looking for that you should hire an actual wedding planner, but if you're planning a wedding yourself and want to make sure that you're getting married at a venue where you'll be able to reach out to the venue for questions and help along the way (an INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT aspect of planning, which I didn't fully realize until we were doing it), I HIGHLY recommend working with these ladies. Over the almost 16 months between when we first saw the venue and our wedding, we had many hundreds of exchanges, and in every interaction these ladies were not only incredibly helpful, but also incredibly excited for us. Even though they work with tons of brides, grooms, and interested parties, I always felt as though I was the only person whose wedding they were concerned about, which was amazing. And on the day of our wedding, we did not have to worry about a thing; the staff took care of everything, to the point where I don't even know what they did, but everything went off without a hitch! Another thing that was amazing was the food -- the Winfield Inn does all of their own food, and it is absolutely delicious. We were even able to order our cake through their baker, and it was amazing! Gorgeous and delicious, and it was GREAT to be able to do all food through the Winfield rather than having to hire additional vendors. You absolutely cannot do better than the Winfield Inn. From the numerous emails of the detail planning to the tedious hours of the actual day the staff was always quick to respond and do whatever it takes to make sure every detail was exactly the way I imagined it! Briana Teter(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-04-2014 Wow, I cannot say how much I loved this venue. April and the owner Jodi were very professional and easy to work with, even with the amount of times I changed my mind on things. I knew I wanted this venue from even before I got engaged, and I'm so happy I was able to get it. I got so many compliments on the venue and the staff. Even still people are telling me they have never seen such a gorgeous wedding. I just smile because I know I had very little decorations but the venue itself didn't even need any. It was so green and lush, and so romantic at night in the garden ballroom. The chandeliers hanging from the big Texas Oaks add a sense of vintage sophistication. The entire ceremony was held under the trees in late April, but there is a great breeze that comes through and it's so shaded that you don't have to worry much about the sun beating down. I cannot say enough about this place; it was my dream venue and where I got to have my dream wedding- couldn't ask for anything better. Reviewed on 25-06-2014

Megan McCollum(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-03-2014 My husband and I are so happy we chose The Winfield Inn for our wedding! We had searched about 5 other venues before we found the Winfield and we fell in love with it's charm as soon as we walked up towards the front door. \r\rWe chose the Winfield for numerous reasons:\r1. So much is included in the contract. \r They have a fabulous kitchen and cater on site. You can choose from a range of menus. We went with the Farm Fresh menu and guests were going back for seconds, it was so delicious. Perfect for our March wedding too. All necessities are included which lowered the cost for any rentals we amy have needed. Dishware, tables, chairs, glassware, bartender, servers, etc are all included and they even have options for you to choose from. All this saved us a lot of money compared to what other venues were charging for added services and rentals.\r\r2. The girls on staff are so kind and helpful. They honestly are so excited to help you make your big day everything you are dreaming of. The team helps you as much as a paid wedding planner would. A special shout out to April and Laura who worked with us for most of our appointments, questions, and on our wedding day. Y'all made the entire planning process so easy for us, thank you! It was so fun to work with you ladies and you made us feel so special.\r\r3. It's gorgeous! We were searching for an outdoor venue with that Hill Country look. The Inn house is absolutely beautiful and the inside decor transports you back in time with its charming vintage decor. The grounds are covered with magnificent live oak trees. The environment looks fabulous in photos as well. We held our ceremony underneath the \"kissing trees\" on the lawn. We were truly blessed with perfect weather that day, but just in case crazy Texas weather hits on your wedding day, there is a plan B to hold the ceremony underneath the stunning pavilion. Having this plan B was very important in our decision and eliminated any stress about the skies that day. \r\rThe wedding day went so smoothly it was surreal. We highly recommend The Winfield Inn for a perfect and unforgettable wedding experience! Reviewed on 15-04-2014

They put together an amazing breakfast for dinner menu that I wish I could eat every day. 2 months before our big day, The Winfield Inn invited us up for a date night to taste our menu and ensure that it was what we wanted. It was such a nice, relaxing evening which allowed us to taste all the amazing food we planned for our guests.\r\rPlanning: The wedding planners at the Winfield Inn took care of every detail of the set up and order of the day. They took care of the linens, plates, chairs, and all the other small details. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The home is a wonderful place to get ready at as well as stay in the evening before or of the wedding. The food is delicious...with so many options. It is truly a one-stop shop and very little additional decor(ations) are needed.\r\rOne of the primary differentiators is the ability to bring in your own alcohol, which we felt reduced the cost tremendously of the event when comparing to other venues.\r\rOur other vendors like working with/at The Winfield Inn, so I think that also is a great testimony to the venue and staff. \r\rAll of our guests keep saying \"We don't think it could have gone any better!\" \r\rRobyn was our coordinator, but we had contact with everyone over the process, and again, nothing but positive feedback. I never knew Robyn was there the entire evening, but that's because she made sure everything ran so smoothly the entire evening so I didn't need to find her! Shelby Prichard(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-05-2012 We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Winfield Inn in May 2012. We had such a great experience with Winfield in every possible way. April, Robyn, and the team were wonderful to work with. We were planning our wedding from NYC, so we really relied on their help. They were extremely responsive to all of our requests -- they never went more than a day before calling or emailing us back, and they went above and beyond with our requests. We contacted them perhaps an excessive number of times with questions, and they never made us feel like we were imposing and were always so willing to be helpful. For example, we had a band we were interested in from Dallas that we didn't know much about, and the Winfield team called the band for us, sought out references, and helped us get the information we needed to make a decision (and the band turned out to be amazing!). They even helped us pick out locations for our rehearsal dinner and for brunch with our guests. They also provided a lot of recommendations for vendors that they had worked with previously, and we used several of those vendors, all of whom turned out to be wonderful. They really made our wedding as stress-free as possible. The day of the wedding, they really took charge, worked with all of our vendors directly to get things set up, and made sure things were running smoothly throughout the day/night -- it made the experience so easy for us. The food was also amazing and definitely not your standard wedding fare. The whole atmosphere of the venue is really so special too. I was way worried about having the wedding outside in August even though it was in the evening. I looked at 10 other venues and I kept comparing them to the Winfield. April, one of the coordinators there, was so sweet in reassuring me that it would be okay. April is a phenomenal coordinator she really makes sure to meet all of your expectations and then some! Through out the whole process she was organized, positive, informative, prompt and most important real. Several other places we looked at the coordinators of the venue were super fake. April's down to earth upbeat attitude is was sealed the deal for me. The food there was AMAZING, all of my guests complimented about the food. Everything from set up, to schedule, to tear down etc. April was there. The Bed and Breakfast if you decide to stay the night is nothing less than exemplary! The Winfield makes sure you have food after the reception and cake and champagne in your room (seeing as you don't get to eat... AT ALL). Breakfast was also amazing and quite romantic. EPIC! is all I have to say. Over all a wonderful experience from beginning to end.\r\rThere were a couple of things I was disappointed with, though. There were a few things that I used as a decoration that were misplaced and when I called them to see if they had by any chance seen it or knew where it could have been, they really weren't sure. Perhaps it was my fault for not being more organized, but I do recommend being very specific on everything even if it feels like it's going over the top and ask every little question you have, they can't read your mind. The ladies helping us plan our wedding have been utterly accommodating to any request and question that I've come up with so far. I love communicating with them! Always happy and just so sweet! Our budget was not a large one and with a relatively small wedding (~75 guests) I thought I'd never find a venue that met my picky expectations and wouldn't blow our meager budget; The Winfield will work hard to make your dream wedding happen and proved it with the non-pushy communication before we ever even signed a contract. We have a few more months to go, but I'm certain I will be upgrading my review to 5-star once our wedding happens; the ONLY reason I went 4-star is that my wedding is still in the planning stages. Madison Davis(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-11-2012 My fiance and I are currently living and working abroad but have chosen to have our wedding at home next year at the Winfield Inn. Not being from Texas myself and planning a wedding from abroad had me feeling slightly nervous at first, but the girls at the Winfield have been nothing but helpful! Since I started planning I haven't felt the least bit stressed and I owe a lot of that to them. Right when we walked onto the property we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. We didn't even look at any other venues! The Winfield Inn has EVERYTHING we need and more! We are getting married in late autumn and are taking our chances with the weather, but even if it's chilly there are plenty of options to move things indoors while still having the outdoor feel. When we went for our tour I felt like they were totally on the same page as my fiance and me with food, decorations, band, etc. They gave us tons of suggestions and had a menu and contract written up the same day. I can't wait to continue the planning process and am counting down the days til I say 'I do' at this beautiful venue! Reviewed on 01-11-2011

My fiance and I originally planned on a year-long engagement, but moved it to 6 months after joining the Navy family. April, Jackie, and all the wonderful gals at the Winfield Inn made it possible for us to have the wedding we wanted while on a limited time frame (met with them in September and scheduled a December wedding - 4 months!), and a limited budget. We rented the venue for the whole weekend to enjoy it to the fullest. Wedding coordination was exceptional. We didn't have to worry about anything. Priceless. It makes beautiful pictures. The only reason i gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because i found the policy they had for \"final count\" to be quite a bit inflexible. 30 days prior to the event is when they want the final head count and you can't decrease your number after that. Being in the restraunt and catering business myself, i know this is extreme. Two weeks would be adequate enough time to get all grocery orders placed. Other than that, all our guest had such wonderful comments both about the place and the food. it was awesome. Reviewed on 28-10-2011

The entire staff has been part of our wedding planning process and have been willing to help with even the smallest of detail, without ever making us feel like we are bugging them. They are quick to respond to all of our emails and phone calls...and if April isn't available, someone else is ready and willing to step in and follow up on her behalf. Imagine my pleasure when I read about The Winfield Inn, and how they do all these services, plus food, AND take care of it before AND after! Not only that, but the ladies who took care of us took VERY good care of us, short of holding our hands, from start to finish, from correspondence to wedding planning itself and everything in between! Also know that the whole venue is all for your party that whole day, which adds a touch of specialty to the whole affair. Chelsea Renner(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-06-2011 We are currently in the process of planning our June 2011 wedding. We started our search for venues a few months ago by looking online and finding a few places we wanted to visit. From the beginning The Winfield Inn was on the top of our list just from looking at the website. We immediately made an appointment to visit the venue. They were very accommodating to get us in at our most convenient time. Driving up to The Winfield Inn I was already falling more in love with the venue. We met with April Obersteller. She was very happy to answer any and every question we had. After the tour of the venue we knew that was the place we wanted to have our special day. The venue is beautiful and very spacious and would accommodate our outdoor wedding perfectly. They also have a wonderful rain plan if needed which I was very pleased with since the weather in June in Austin, TX can be very unpredictable sometimes. After our tour we sat down with April and talked about some of the things we were interested in as far as the menu and reception set up goes. After a wonderful experience we left with smiles on our faces knowing that was the right place. We just had to wait to hear back from April to get a price estimate for our big day. That was the only thing we were unsure of. Since our wedding budget isn’t big we were hoping that wouldn’t hurt our chances to have the perfect venue, could it be too good to be true? A few hours later we received an email from April with our estimate. We read through it carefully and finally got to the total….I was crushed. It was way beyond our price range, and we couldn’t believe it. That was the perfect venue. After talking it over we called April to explain to her the situation. We told her how much we loved the venue, but there was no way we could afford it. She said not to worry there was lots of adjusting we could do to lower the price. I then spend about 30 minutes on the phone with her talking through each part of the estimate, cutting things here, and change things there. After we did all the adjusting she figured out the total again and I couldn’t believe it but we were able to cut the price by more than 50%. It was now in our price range, we were so excited. We then booked The Winfield Inn and have been very pleased with everything. They have been very flexible with accepting our payments and very helpful in recommending other vendors for the many other things we need for our special day. I am 100% positive we picked the perfect venue and I couldn’t be more excited for The Winfield Inn to host our big day!!\rExcited Bride to Be,Chelsea Marie Renner Reviewed on 02-12-2010

The Winfield staff knows weddings, so they took everything we brought in boxes and set it up without any instructions. And guess what? It looked better than I could've imagined. There was a pending thunderstorm on the wedding day, and the Winfield team watched the radar to make sure we had time to get the ceremony finished and were real pep-talkers about the whole day. I felt comfortable, relaxed and like a princess! Reviewed on 01-12-2010
Angela Laidacker(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-05-2011 We're getting married at the Winfield Inn in May 2011. So far, the staff have been so gracious, friendly, and wonderful. I kind of feel like I'm their only bride. They are very responsive to my emails and calls, and have been completely available on my two visits to the venue. I trust these ladies completely, and am looking forward to having our wedding there; I know that they will take care of every detail and I won't have to worry. Reviewed on 01-12-2010
Imogen Sellers(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-10-2010 The Winfield was the perfect venue choice for our wedding. Robyn and April, the two coordinators, were there for us every step of the way with support, advice, opinions and quick responses to my seemingly never-ending list of last-minute questions during the final weeks leading up to our big day. They made everything easy and seemless and I worried about nothing the day of that had to do with set-up or schedule. The grounds and reception area are both elegant and relaxed with a really unique and hospitable charm. Every guest I talked to on the day and after commented on the beauty of the surroundings, the openness of the space and the overall great time they had. You can't go wrong having your wedding at the Winfiled. Reviewed on 11-11-2010
Kate Hawkins(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-09-2010 Planning a remote wedding is not an easy feat but working with the wonderful staff of the Winfield Inn made our year long engagement a breeze. They were always attentive, kind, and very considerate of our time and needs especially when it came to dealing with time zone differences and balancing competing priorities from other family members. \rThe wedding day itself couldn't have gone any smoother and I couldn't have had a sounder peace of mind because I knew I could relinquish all control of the details over to the staff and it would be the smoothest of transitions. Each time I visited the Winfield Inn's grounds, I was taken aback at how green and vibrant the property was no matter which season I chose to visit. For anyone who has ever wanted an outdoor wedding but desperately needed the security of a covered reception space (Austin weather can change on the drop of a dime), their garden ballroom is a beautiful balance of merging flora with a resonating space of vaulted ceilings and chandeliers that made the evening dream-like.\rThe Winfield Inn staff couldn't have been more helpful in providing recommendations for vendors such as florists, musicians, bakeries (we did pie!). We had so much freedom crafting our menu with the chef and although I personally didn't get to taste too much of it (brides you truly never sit down for more than 5 minutes), it was one of the many highlights our guests raved about.\rAfter all was said and done, simply staying in the house itself after the reception was exactly what we needed. It was quiet, restful, and we woke up the next morning in the stillness of the countryside. Reviewed on 08-11-2010
Lynn Henson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-09-2010 I wanted a very unconventional menu, including a family recipe. After our first tasting there were a few things that needed to be tweeked, especially the family recipe. After working with our onsite coordinator and the Chef, HE NAILED IT!!! Our friends and family were blown away by the food and went out of their way to praise the menu. I could not have hoped for a better experience than what I received at The Winfield Inn. Not only is it one of the most beautiful and serene places that I have ever seen, but the staff there is impeccable. The team at The Winfield was always available for questions, they flexible with meeting times, and their Chef was incredible!!! I cannot speak more highly of group of people, they are truly wonderful. Reviewed on 13-10-2010
