The Wingate Barn was built in the late 1800s and operated as a working dairy farm for the next century. The barn housed feed for the cows upstairs and kept livestock comfortable downstairs. During the past 20 years, the barn has been transformed by Dolores and her team, and we've hosted an abundance of beautiful wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthday parties, family reunions, and school functions!
We've recently made numerous improvements and renovations to the property, including new decks, bathrooms, and our famous bridal room – which used to be the milk house! Eye-catching flowerbeds and trees have been placed throughout the property to enhance the natural beauty of the barn and make wedding receptions and other events feel even more spectacular. Your guests will surely enjoy playing lawn games or taking a stroll to get a glimpse of the scenic farmland. They may even be lucky enough to catch the stunning sunsets we get to experience here in Livonia, NY.
We've also recently hired a new managers, Roger & Leighana Wing, for the 2023 season & beyond, which some of you may have already met while you were touring the venue or at weddings here this summer!
We are excited to announce that Wingate Barn has now partnered with Events With Selina as our On-Site event planner and even more detailed coordination needs!

The Wingate Barn Reviews
Kristen Fellows(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-10-2022 The Wingate Barn is a beautiful place for a wedding, especially in October. The owner Dolores and her staff were incredible and we could not recommend this place enough. The vision we had for the layout really came together and looked beautiful, both the inside of the barn and the outside where the ceremony took place. We had many guests afterwards tell us afterwards that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and a lot of that had to do with the venue and the atmosphere it provided. Dolores also acted as our day of coordinator and she actually must just be an earth bound angel because she is wonderful. Reviewed on 04-12-2022
Cristie Alexander(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-08-2018 Wingate Barn was absolutely amazing! We received so many compliments all night long about how gorgeous this barn was. Dolores (owner and on site coordinator) was wonderful to work with! So nice and always available to answer any questions and offer suggestions. Decorations come with the price, as well as 4 different ceremony sites right on the property!! Absolutely wonderful!! Reviewed on 02-09-2018
Brittany Hasler(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-09-2017 There are so many wonderful things to say about the Wingate Barn. It truly believe that having my wedding there made it that much more special. I can't tell you the amount of compliments I received on the venue. I was even told multiple times that it was the best wedding they every attended. Jackie and Dolores are amazing and will help until everything is perfect. I would book there time and time again. The most amazing day ever and I would have not changed a thing! Reviewed on 28-10-2017
Sarah Coleates(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-08-2014 This was the location that made us fall in love with the idea of a barn wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful if you are looking for a rustic barn wedding. One big bonus is they have onsite bathrooms as many restored barns do not. They also have tables and chairs onsite so unless you are looking for something specific it saves you on having to rent these items.\r\rThe owner is not great with communication - often not responding to emails or phone calls but helpful when you do finally catch her. And I must say- the day of our event both the owner of the venue and her team were over the top helpful- running marriage licenses to the groomsmen- running interferance so I could make a quick pit stop before the ceremony and ensuring that everything was set up beautifully. \r\rThey really pulled it off and were very helpful and kind to our family and friends. Don't sweat the communication issues (hard for a bride I know) it will all iron out. It truly is a fabulous venue! Reviewed on 09-09-2014
