Ive refrained from writing a bad review about my May 2022 wedding until a friend told me they were considering this inn, which no one should if Corin Guest is still the coordinator. She was absolutely terrible at her job, added completely unnecessary stress to me (a project manager who ended up coordinating everything I could myself due to her inefficiencies) and the 1812 ceiling collapsed the weekend prior so I was told I'd be moved to a room behind it, only to be told days before my wedding that this new room couldn't accommodate my 40 guests so I would need to uninvite people, wow. That's when my SIL took over communication with Corin and SIL made sure I had everything I wanted on my wedding day. Despite SIL telling Coring to work only through her, Corin continued to call me, even called me during my dinner rehearsal. I'm not the type of person to complain about people but she was just so terrible and had no business being in that role. The fear of god mustve been put in her because somehow the original room was put back together and ready for my wedding reception. Didnt get all the pictures I had hoped for because Corin was in the way (moved lawn furniture in front of me as I was walking down the aisle.. no joke..) stepped in front of us as we cut the cake to hand us plates.. it's laughable at this point but I do not recommend this venue if Corin Guest is the person who is 'managing' the event. She was also extremely rude to her staff, not a good work environment whatsoever.

We had our wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn on June 12th, earlier this year. Although the day ended up going smoothly by the end, I absolutely would not recommend this venue to any other bride. After the original event coordinator, a woman named Corin Guest took over as the event coordinator. From that point on, we didn't get a straight answer about anything. I asked for weeks for details about hotel room costs and what (if anything) was included; never got a proper response. Everything was \"I'll check\" or \"Let me see.\" As an event coordinator, she did not seem to know the answer to a single question. We even called the front desk to ask about hotel room costs and were told they'd check with Corin. The day before our wedding, I was informed we would have to pay about $1,000 for the hotel rooms for 1 night.At our menu tasting, we asked about options to accommodate 3 vegetarians in our guest list. We ended up agreeing that 3 fish filets could be made separately since the guests would eat everything else on the menu. Fast forward 2 weeks before the wedding, Corin calls to talk about the menu and says she can't accommodate the 3 vegetarians. During the planning process, Corin would complain about other brides on the phone to me while trying to give me updates on our events. I also received Facebook messages from other brides in planning groups asking if I was able to get ahold of anyone recently. The week of the wedding, I ask if we're able to decorate the reception room the day before and Corin assured me that would be fine since we are the *only event that weekend.* When we arrive the day before the wedding, the reception room has another event occurring that wouldn't be done for a few more hours. Friends and family had arrived early to help us set up just to be told that it couldn't be done for at least 6-7 more hours. Corin's response was that she forgot about the other event but \"they would be done soon.\" The morning of the wedding, I saw my husband outside setting up the ceremony and running extensions cords for the music instead of relaxing and prepping with his groomsmen. Corin didn't arrive until after 10 AM that morning after we were told she would get there very early to set up the arch and chairs. The day of the wedding, Corin served dinner before my husband and I even entered the reception. We went upstairs to change our shoes and come back down for dinner when I received a text from a bridesmaids that servers were currently serving dinner. When our bridesmaids asked why on earth food was being served without us, the response was that \"well it is time to serve dinner.\" My husband nearly lost his composure at this point in the weekend. I made detailed lists of where the decor should go, the music to be played, what order to walk down in, and even wrote the majority of the ceremony script. It wasn't until after the wedding that I found out by talking with other staff at the hotel that we were supposed to be provided with those timelines rather than trying to figure it out ourselves. Thankfully our friends, family, and some of the other staff we met were very helpful and accommodating to make our day go smoothly. But I would not, under any circumstances, recommend this venue to any other couples until they replace the event coordinator due to the lack of organization, communication, and professionalism.

The Wolfeboro Inn is a spectacular venue for all things lake, rustic, and charming but as other recent couples commented, management and staffing issues were a major concern and added such an unnecessary stress leading up to our big day. We fell in love with the Inn when Connie Clark was the Event Manager. She was fantastic! It was unfortunate that she left and we only found out she was no longer working at the Inn when we came for our food tasting and met their new Event Manager, Corin Guest. Corin wasnât the warm and fuzzy personality that we loved about Connie but seemed nice enough. For the few months we worked with Corin, we were continuously left feeling disappointed. Her lack of communication and follow through were alarming. We also found out, after speaking with Janell, that she lied about things we couldnât have for our wedding. An example of where we were really left feeling let down was when we ended up taking our parents to visit the Inn, to get a sense of the venue, a couple of months prior to our wedding. Corin was made aware of this visit well in advance as well. When we arrived, she had no recollection of who we were as the bride and groom and why we were there. Both ourselves and our parents were confused by her lack of customer service and professionalism. We tried to make the best of it and if Corin was who we needed to work with, we would have to make it work; however, we proactively reached out to three close family friends and asked them to assist us as Day of Event Coordinators as we were concerned that Corin wouldnât step up in a way to bring our wedding vision/details to life. It was a sigh of relief when we heard from the Innâs General Manager, Janell LeFleche, two months prior to our wedding that Corin was no longer working at the Inn and that Janell would be stepping in to assist us with the remainder of our wedding planning. Janell was such a nice change of pace and reassured us that we were in good hands. Janell truly lived up to that statement and both her and her Banquet Captain, Shannon, helped make our wedding amazing! We did encounter a few hiccups the day before/day of the wedding but nothing worth mentioning here. At the end of day, we married each other and thatâs whatâs important; however, if we could have foreseen some of the issues we mentioned above, we would have reconsidered selecting the Inn for our wedding venue. They once had an incredible reputation for providing top-notch weddings and that reputation is subsiding. Hopefully corporate can step in and help them get back to where they once were for future couples.

My husband and I got married at the inn this past weekend and are so incredibly relieved that our day went PERFECTLY thanks to Shannon and Janell! Everything went so smoothly and the staff were so kind and attentive. I want to give a 5 star review because our wedding weekend was PERFECT, but unfortunately, like a few other couples who have posted recently, we had a horrible experience leading up to the big day. If youâre thinking about booking the inn for your wedding, you are good hands now! Theyâre still trying to find their groove after the previous coordinator, but you will get the attention and care you deserve! We booked the inn in May â21 and started off with Connie. All the reviews about her were spot on! She was attentive and answered any question we had same day. Right when we started getting into the thick of planning Connie left and we got someone new. In the beginning it took her a few days to respond but by the end it took WEEKS and multiple emails, voicemails, and phone calls to get one answer even though we had a list of questions. She was incredibly rude and didnât keep track of any of our discussions which left us frustrated and talking in circles anytime we finally connected over the phone. At the end of June I finally saw a review that validated our experience and on one hand it was reassuring to see that werenât the only ones going through this but it was so upsetting to know all this frustration and stress would just get worse. In July our prayers were answered when Shannon and Janell took over! I was so appreciative of all of their hard work! I knew Shannon was taking on a beast so I wasnât expecting an immediate turn around BUT she did an amazing job! She always answered my questions and responded to all of my emails. We had a few hiccups the week of our wedding finalizing some details but everything was solved prior to our arrival. Shannon and Janell saved the day and I cannot thank them enough!

The weekend of our wedding was beautiful- we had our ceremony down by the lake and the reception under the tent. Everything went completely according to plan, thanks to Janell and Shannon! They were both awesome, and I don't want to diminish their hard work at all, especially because wedding planning is not their primary job at the Wolfeboro Inn. However, I need to give a warning to future couples because the two years of planning our wedding were a challenge due to the frequent turnover of wedding staff at the Wolfeboro Inn. The three previous wedding coordinators we worked with were not easy to get in touch with, left without warning, and thus many wedding details needed to be confirmed multiple times due to information getting lost in the rehiring process. We ended up hiring an outside day-of-coordinator, who handled most of the communication with the Inn, and with our other hired vendors. The hotel is also showing signs of age- although the lawns and gardens are very well maintained, it is an old hotel that has seen some hard times from COVID (and the bridal suite had lots of giant spiders in it). Overall, my guests and I loved my wedding and enjoyed having it at the Wolfeboro Inn, but a lot of stress could have been avoided by booking elsewhere.

Despite being short staffed, the Wolfeboro Inn made our day a very, very special one. We didnât have to lift a finger! Janell, Gabrielle, and Shannon were superstars! We decided to have our wedding weekend spent at the Wolfeboro Inn first and foremost because the spectacular waterfront view of the lake. We also loved the idea of having our part of our rehearsal evening on their boat, the Winniepsaukee Belle. Every one of our guests loved âthe night beforeâ cruise we took around the lake. They thought it was the perfect start to the weekend. Another factor in our decision to go with the Inn was the sailcloth reception tent. It was the perfect setting for a garden party themed/lakefront wedding; guests enjoyed the open air aspect of the tent (it also helped that the weather was perfect that weekend). As the evening went on, the team at the Wolfeboro Inn set up a fire in their courtyard fire pit surrounded by adirondack chairs. We finished our weekend with a very delicious brunch the next morning. The team at the Wolfeboro Inn seriously impressed us with their approach to our wedding weekend and went above and beyond to make sure every aspect was a success.

DO NOT get married here. It is not worth your time or money until new ownership/management. My wife and I had an enormous amount of stress and anxiety leading up to the wedding day and while we can say the day itself went off without any issues, it was due to us hiring a wedding coordinator 3 weeks out to ensure our day was what we envisioned (even though the Inn bills itself as having an onsite wedding coordinator as part of their package). Here are the cliff notes â read on for the full review â˘\tAll communication was one sided â we initiated all calls, meetings, and emails â˘\tStaff is very unresponsive, often going weeks without a response (if we ever received one)o\tSome questions were not even answered o\tEmails (if responded to) would only address one or two questions, not any of the others we had askedo\tCalls were not answered and voicemails never returned â˘\tWedding Coordinator (our second as the first left) was condescending, rude, arrogant and we felt like we were always inconveniencing herâ˘\tInformation provided by us (in person, over the phone and through emails) was never captured, leading us to have the same conversations repeatedlyâ˘\tRooms were not clean the two times we stayed ahead of our wedding, with reports from guests on some cleanliness issues (trash in rooms, mold on shower curtains, heat/AC not working)â˘\tRentals we brought in got lost by the Inn and we now must pay for the replacements â˘\tEscalations to general management were ignored until we finally escalated to corporate (their holding company)â˘\tOur wedding start time, meals and numbers had to be corrected multiple times â with some numbers still not correct 2 weeks out Here is a recap of just one meeting with our second coordinator (in March 22â â 4 months out)â˘\tShe was 30 mins lateâ˘\tShe was unprepared, and details already given to her were never documented â˘\tShe put-down vendors we were working withâ˘\tShe contradicted everything we had already agreed with our first coordinator and when challenged, became very agitated and rudeâ˘\tShe told us our wedding was not her priority â˘\tShe blamed the prior coordinator for everythingâ˘\tShe was quite rude and condescending 2 weeks prior to our wedding, we had to email corporate as our escalations were going unanswered. We heard back from the GM that she would be handling our wedding moving forward. To be fair, she did a great job making us feel more at ease. But, we shouldnât have to be escalating concerns 2 weeks prior and then be getting on calls with our 3rd coordinator to explain all of our details as they never were documented. We had rented linens through a 3rd party and 1 linen was not returned. We asked the Inn about this and they were adamant they packed it. I requested they reimburse us for this, they claimed they werenât at fault and the liability clause in the contract protected them from reimbursement of any âlost, damaged or stolenâ items personally brought onto the premises. This refusal, after everything we had to deal with, is what led me to write this. While I can appreciate contract protections and the Inn being right in claiming this, itâs the principal of business to acknowledge any errors or issues and work with the customer, especially given the bad experience you already put that customer through. In conclusion â itâs just not worth your time dealing with everything we had to. If done again, we would opt to choose another venue with similar charm.

DO NOT get married here. It is not worth your time or money until new ownership/management. My wife and I had an enormous amount of stress and anxiety leading up to the wedding day and while we can say the day itself went off without any issues, it was due to us hiring a wedding coordinator 3 weeks out to ensure our day was what we envisioned (even though the Inn bills itself as having an onsite wedding coordinator as part of their package). Here are the cliff notes â read on for the full review â˘\tAll communication was one sided â we initiated all calls, meetings, and emails â˘\tStaff is very unresponsive, often going weeks without a response (if we ever received one)o\tSome questions were not even answered o\tEmails (if responded to) would only address one or two questions, not any of the others we had askedo\tCalls were not answered and voicemails never returned â˘\tWedding Coordinator (our second as the first left) was condescending, rude, arrogant and we felt like we were always inconveniencing herâ˘\tInformation provided by us (in person, over the phone and through emails) was never captured, leading us to have the same conversations repeatedlyâ˘\tRooms were not clean the two times we stayed ahead of our wedding, with reports from guests on some cleanliness issues (trash in rooms, mold on shower curtains, heat/AC not working)â˘\tRentals we brought in got lost by the Inn and we now must pay for the replacements â˘\tEscalations to general management were ignored until we finally escalated to corporate (their holding company)â˘\tOur wedding start time, meals and numbers had to be corrected multiple times â with some numbers still not correct 2 weeks out Here is a recap of just one meeting with our second coordinator (in March 22â â 4 months out)â˘\tShe was 30 mins lateâ˘\tShe was unprepared, and details already given to her were never documented â˘\tShe put-down vendors we were working withâ˘\tShe contradicted everything we had already agreed with our first coordinator and when challenged, became very agitated and rudeâ˘\tShe told us our wedding was not her priority â˘\tShe blamed the prior coordinator for everythingâ˘\tShe was quite rude and condescending 2 weeks prior to our wedding, we had to email corporate as our escalations were going unanswered. We heard back from the GM that she would be handling our wedding moving forward. To be fair, she did a great job making us feel more at ease. But, we shouldnât have to be escalating concerns 2 weeks prior and then be getting on calls with our 3rd coordinator to explain all of our details as they never were documented. We had rented linens through a 3rd party and 1 linen was not returned. We asked the Inn about this and they were adamant they packed it. I requested they reimburse us for this, they claimed they werenât at fault and the liability clause in the contract protected them from reimbursement of any âlost, damaged or stolenâ items personally brought onto the premises. This refusal, after everything we had to deal with, is what led me to write this. While I can appreciate contract protections and the Inn being right in claiming this, itâs the principal of business to acknowledge any errors or issues and work with the customer, especially given the bad experience you already put that customer through. In conclusion â itâs just not worth your time dealing with everything we had to. If done again, we would opt to choose another venue with similar charm.

We had a poor experience at the Inn. They have had a lot of staff turnover and do not currently (as of May 2022) have a qualified event/wedding coordinator. We had a lot of stress in planning the entire event, including on the wedding day, and received very little support from the Inn. I would not recommend having your wedding here unless the Inn gets new owners/management.

Connie and Kelsey were so helpful and warm, they made me feel so special on our day. They made sure we had everything we needed on the day of! The inn was perfect for our family to come and stay together. The fire pit was a blast to sit at at night after the rehearsal. The waterfront was the perfect spot for photos and our ceremony! Thank you for everything!

We had a very short engagement, less than two months, but Guen and her team at the Wolfeboro Inn were at the ready!! She put our nerves at ease very quickly and we knew after about 5 minutes after sitting down with her that we made the right decision to have our ceremony and reception there. Along with our family and friends, Guen made our evening no less than magical.Whether your having a wedding with a guest list of 200 or 10 we highly recommend The Wolfeboro Inn, Guen and her team, you wonât be disappointed.

Our guests all had a great time and being right in town gave them plenty of options for food and activities within walking distance. Guen was great to work with and made the overwhelming process of wedding planning as easy as you can get. It was great to have so much included as part of booking the location and the Innâs packages and options allowed us to arrange exactly the event we wanted. We had originally looked into a couple barns and farms in the area but it would have involved us scheduling and coordinating every single piece of the wedding ourselves. The Wolfeboro Inn provided a more all-inclusive option while still allowing for a very personalized and unique wedding. We highly recommend the Inn and cannot thank Guen and her team enough.

We can't thank the Wolfeboro Inn and Guen Kerr enough -- our wedding day was perfect. Initially we were really drawn to the beautiful location. The lakefront is lovely and the tent was a gorgeous space for our outdoor reception. But beyond that, the entire staff at the Wolfeboro Inn was amazing. We received many compliments on the food and were so impressed by the bartenders, who learned names and remembered many of our guests' drink orders throughout the night. Then there is Guen. There are no words to describe how incredible she was from start to finish. She's the \"Director of Catering\" but truly she does it all and the Wolfeboro Inn is lucky to have her. She was very responsive to our emails and questions leading up to the wedding, and was very helpful with recommendations and other tips as we planned. We appreciated that she met with us a few times, including for our rehearsal. Most of all, she and her assistant Emily were super helpful and accessible on the day of the wedding. They visited the groomsmen staying at the Inn, but also checked in on the bridal party getting ready down the road. They also totally handled whatever was thrown their way. Our 2-year old flower girl destroyed her \"flower wand\" and Emily lovingly taped it back together. We also weren't sure whether all seven of our very young flower girls and ring bearers would make it down the aisle, but Guen's promise of lollipops at the end got the job done. Overall, we are so grateful to the Wolfeboro Inn, Guen, and the staff, and we highly recommend working with them. If we could do it all over, we wouldn't change a thing!

I recently had my wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn and I cannot put in words how amazing it was. It was the absolute perfect location overlooking the water for our ceremony (they also have a beautiful gazebo if you prefer) and our outdoor reception under the tent was gorgeous and is perfectly situated on the property for privacy. While the location and beauty of the venue is gorgeous, their wedding coordinator Guen is the icing on the cake. She is truly amazing and we feel so lucky to have had her working with us throughout the whole process. From the moment we met with her to look at the venue, through all my countless emails and phone calls and then down to the very end of our wedding weekend she was absolutely AMAZING. She truly made our day so perfect even despite a few issues I had with my own vendors I had booked. Her assistant Emily along with the rest of the team were so warm and welcoming and we absolutely loved our bartender Ed. This was the second venue we looked at and immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. All the rooms are so quaint and my suite for the night before and night of the wedding was so spacious and couldnât have been more perfect for us girls getting ready and also romantic for my husband and Iâs wedding night. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about their entire experience throughout the whole weekend there. Every staff member we ever encountered from the moment we checked in until the moment we were driving out of the parking lot was so accommodating and welcoming, always smiling and asking if there was anything they could do to help. The food was absolutely delicious not only at the wedding but also in the tavern for late night snacks and breakfast the next day. Overall, I couldnât have asked for a better experience and wish I could plan another wedding here! If I could give it 100 stars I would, I cannot wait to go back for our 1st year anniversary!!

I am so glad we went with the Wolfeboro Inn! We wanted to give everyone a mini-vacation with our choice of venue and heard from multiple guests how they enjoyed swimming in the lake, taking a ride on the Winnipesaukee Belle, and checking out the local bars and restaurants. They appreciated the convenience that the venue offered, with everything happening right on site at a beautiful location. Guen was great to work with, especially with so much long-distance planning. It gave us peace of mind to have her as our point-person to answer all of our questions leading up the wedding. On the day of, she was everywhere all at once, making sure everyone was where they needed to be, taking care of the little details and making sure we had something to eat and a drink in hand during the reception.The bartenders, caterers, and other wedding staff were also great, making sure we were taken care of and handling all the details behind the scenes. A few critical remarks: The Inn itself needs a little TLC. Multiple guests commented on old rooms with tricky door handles, slow-to-heat showers, etc. I was in the bridal suite and there was an electrical/circuit issue both the night before and morning of. Up until about 15 mins before my makeup crew was scheduled to arrive, they were in my room trying to fix the problem which set us behind schedule a bit and had the bridesmaids waiting in the lobby. The hotel booking system also seems a little manual/outdated. Leading up to the wedding, it was hard to get a clear read on the status of payments made and rooms booked due to what seemed like older systems. The Inn can also book 3+ weddings in a week/weekend. That means you may be competing a bit for attention and space. It all worked out for us, but worth noting for couples looking to reserve a block of rooms for guests. Ask upfront to be informed of any other weddings that weekend so you can tell your guests to get a jump on reservations.Other than the few mentioned critiques, we were very happy with our decision to go with the Wolfeboro Inn and it made for a beautiful, fun, and easy wedding weekend!

This venue was perfect! We loved the feel of the inn and how cute it was! On our wedding day, the coordinator- Guen was amazing. She checked in on both of us a few times through our the day. Guen and her team made sure our ceremony went perfect!! I especially appreciated how she stopped other guest thatâs werenât apart of the wedding from entering the lobby when I was coming down and walking towards the gazebo. It was those small details that really made our wedding day perfect! We got married at the gazebo which was beautiful (they let you decorate it however you want!). Our reception was in the ballroom downstairs (AC was wonderful since our wedding was in August). We truly could not have asked for a more perfect day and we have the Wolfeboro Inn to thank for making our day so incredible! We canât wait to go back for our complementary stay for our anniversary!!

The Wolfeboro Inn is a beautiful venue if youâre considering it for your wedding. If you want an outdoor ceremony they have two spots. I would recommend the gazebo as the lower gardens is a pretty decent hill to walk down, especially in heeled shoes. Guen Kerr is the wedding coordinator and she is absolutely amazing. She did an awesome job orchestrating the evening. She reached out to our other vendors and worked directly with them which took a lot of stress away. She was a little difficult to get in touch with at times but they just hired another person so that may help take some of the workload off her. The day of she made us feel completely at ease, I trusted that everything would get set up and done just the way we imagined and it did. We had many decorations that all got set up for us and then packed away at the end of the night. We had some difficulty with the front desk people with regards to guest reservations and the rooms need some general maintenance but overall we were happy with our stay and the venue. The bartenders and wait staff were all amazing as well. Very friendly and attentive. They were able to order what we wanted for alcohol and the food was amazing. (Yes, Guen made sure we got to eat!)The reception area accommodated us well even with a couple unique requests. The entire day went smoothly and we received many compliments from guests.

The Wolfeboro Inn is a beautiful venue if youâre considering it for your wedding. If you want an outdoor ceremony they have two spots. The Wolfeboro Inn is AMAZING! They made our wedding weekend the best weekend ever! We got married on Sunday 9/15/19 and it was absolutely perfect. Guen Kerr and the entire staff were so accommodating, knowledgeable, professional and just totally wonderful. So many of our friends and family said that was the best wedding they have ever been to. The staff made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. No matter how many questions we had or random requests we inquired about, they were there to make our day exactly how we dreamed it would be. I highly recommend The Wolfeboro Inn to everyone - We will cherish the memories made there and appreciate how perfect it was.

Couldn't have been happier to have made our decision to host our wedding weekend at The Wolfeboro Inn. From our first tour and meeting with Guen to walking down the aisle, I was confident we were in good hands. There is so much I loved about having our wedding at the Inn, the things that mattered and stood out most to us and our families were; 1) A great location, (it was already a semi destination for a lot of people, I wanted it to be easy to get around) 2) A great team (from venue to band to hair/make up/photography videography)3) And an unforgettable night with the best people (including great food/drink and little stress of course) Wolfeboro is a beautiful little town that I had not spend a lot of time in prior. My guests loved staying in their area and exploring all that the town has to offer. From initial stages of planning to the day after, Guen was unbelievably responsive, & helpful. She was naturally aligned with all our visions from the rehearsal, ceremony, reception and our brunch the following day including decor, catering, timeline etc. I have so much respect for the amount of people and things she needs to coordinate and she does it all with ease and grace. I was heavily involved in the planning of our big day, but when it came to arriving at the Wolfeboro Inn on our wedding weekend, the execution was in the hands of Guen, Emily and their great and there wasn't a moment in time where I needed to worry! I truly enjoyed each moment of my wedding day and weekend as did my husband, stepdaughter parents family and friends. Guen even checked on our dog during the reception so with that she agrees as well! I highly encourage any brides to consider The Wolfeboro Inn, location is beautiful and the team will make sure your day is better then you can envision!

My guests loved staying in their area and exploring all that the town has to offer. From initial stages of planning to the day after, Guen was unbelievably responsive, & helpful. She was naturally aligned with all our visions from the rehearsal, ceremony, reception and our brunch the following day including decor, catering, timeline etc. I have so much respect for the amount of people and things she needs to coordinate and she does it all with ease and grace. I was heavily involved in the planning of our big day, but when it came to arriving at the Wolfeboro Inn on our wedding weekend, the execution was in the hands of Guen, Emily and their great and there wasn't a moment in time where I needed to worry! I truly enjoyed each moment of my wedding day and weekend as did my husband, stepdaughter parents family and friends. Guen even checked on our dog during the reception so with that she agrees as well! I highly encourage any brides to consider The Wolfeboro Inn, location is beautiful and the team will make sure your day is better then you can envision!

Saturday was literally better than we could have ever imagined. The venue was absolutely beautiful. Our ceremony was performed in the lower garden overlooking the lake, which was gorgeous. The ceremony was followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which both took place outside under a large tent. When the sunset there were fire pits set out on the lawn for people to gather around. We were also able to have an after party in the tavern located in the inn. I was excited to find a venue that was able to accommodate a ceremony and reception and also had accommodations for guests. All of our guests commented on the high quality of the food that was served. There were many options to choose from, but we choose chef prepared stations, which ended up being a great choice as there was a large variety of options for guests to enjoy. The bartenders were great! Guen, the venue coordinator, was amazing. She managed every detail of the day and was able to execute my vision perfectly. She is very thoughtful and detail oriented and was able to make our wedding day relaxed and stress free. The Wolfeboro Inn also provided us with a list of preferred vendors, which helped us to find our florist, wedding cake baker, photographer, DJ, and celebrant (who were all amazing!). Saturday was the best! Definitely book this venue- you will NOT be disappointed!

Our weather was perfect, and our guest commented with how peaceful and serene an outside venue in a busy town was. We held our cocktail hour and reception under a bistro tent on the main lawn and it was exactly how we pictured it would be. We looked at many other venues in the Lakes Region and know we made the best choice. Our overall experience exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely recommend The Wolfeboro Inn for your wedding!In addition to booking a beautiful venue The Wolfeboro Inn, you will gain a phenomenal wedding coordinator. Guen Kerr is personable, professional, detail oriented, organized, and truly loves what she does. She is incredibly detail oriented and we literally couldn't have done it without her. She keeps a great list of vendor recommendations and will help you with everything you need.As for The Wolfeboro Inn - it's an absolutely beautiful place to get married. Our ceremony down by the lake was picture perfect. Our reception was in the Winnipesaukee Ballroom and it was perfect for our group. It's an intimate space with plenty of room and a cozy feel. We decorated (actually, Guen did it for us) with fairy lights and it looked perfect!The food was incredible! Our cocktail hour was hearty and we added a nacho bar (highly recommend!!!) and all of our guests had nothing but good things to say about it. Both of our selected entrees - the steak tips and lemon rosemary chicken entrees came out perfectly.As for the staff, everyone is great. They all work incredibly well together as a team and they go above and beyond for their clients. One waiter in particular got rave reviews from our guests - multiple people told us how funny he was and what a great personality he has! Unfortunately, we didn't get his name.

The Wolfeboro Inn was the absolute dream location for our wedding , but despite the beautiful location our dream wedding would not have been made possible without the tremendous help and efforts of the entire Wolfeboro Team and our fantastic wedding coordinator Guen! Throughout the planning of the wedding Guen was always just a phone call away to help with putting together all of the details that we had pictured for our special day. Her expertise and passion for wedding planning allowed for us to have a wedding that we could never have even dreamed of ! In addition to all of the support and help in planning, Guen and her team ensured that in the days leading up to the big day and the wedding day itself could be stress free and a celebration for not only us, but our friends and family as well. Weddings can be stressful and overwhelming , but Guen and her team made every moment a pleasure. We were able to enjoy the property such as the beach and even boating with their available dock slip that allowed for the days leading up to the big day to be relaxing. Additionally, the Inn is dog friendly which allowed for our furry friend to be included in the ceremony and celebrations ! We could not have asked for a more supportive and experienced coordinator and team! Our wedding was everything and more !

My husband Ryan and I cannot thank the staff of the Wolfeboro Inn enough for making not only our day but our weekend a complete success! We arrived around three and were given our room keys immediately to get ready for our rehearsal dinner. Our guests were already milling about in the spacious lobby playing the boards games that were set up while lounging in the cozy arm chairs. Everyone looked comfortable and was at ease due to the nature of the friendly desk assistants which set our weekend off on a great note!\tOur rooms were the bridal and groom suites and both were spacious and decorated in a way that felt a touch of home. Each room I was in felt unique and was decorated in a unique way which was a touch we really enjoyed, as did our guests!We had the pleasure of eating a meal prepared by the staff for our rehearsal dinner in the gorgeous 1812 room that looked out over Lake Winnipesaukee! All of our wedding party enjoyed the meal of lasagna, pasta in a cream sauce, fresh salad, as well as other dishes. There was something for everyone and it was all perfect! (I would know because I tried everything!) It was all finished with a perfectly sweet treat of fresh cannolis! We were able to enjoy breakfast from the Tavern, a gem in this inn. A large portion of our guests could not stop gushing over the fresh made breakfasts and the rustic elegance of Wolfeâs Tavern, the eatery attached to the Inn! Of course the wedding day was a complete success as well. From the bridal suite, I watched Guen and her expert staff prepare the tables with my centerpieces, and other decor items I had brought. My card box was missing so Guen was a quick problem solver and found a perfectly wood stained apple crate to match my other decor. She wrapped it with twinkle lights and surprise, perfect card box (honestly better than the one I forgot!) Guen was such a rockstar for this entire weekend. Ryan and I never felt an ounce of stress due to Guenâs ability to prepare for every single event. I swear she is the one who made the rain stop minutes before I walked down the aisle. She was prepared and knowledgeable about all things wedding ceremony, including pacing and who walked down first and on what side is the bride typically! She was prepared with reminders to keep hands out of pockets (looking at you gentlemen!) and sent one server specifically to the wedding party with hor dourves so we could partake in the eating during pictures still! She was instrumental in organizing all of my vendors and letting them know where to go and what they were able to do during the event! Our guests commented on how friendly her staff was from the front office to the bartenders and servers. We cannot thank them enough for the love they showed our puppy, Harley, as well. The front desk staff even offered to take him for a walk so no one from the wedding party would be bothered during the wedding! If that is not top notch service, Iâm not sure what is!Our groomsman, Joe, had attended 11 previous weddings as a groomsman prior to our wedding and stated Guen and her team had put on the best wedding he had ever seen. He could not stop gushing about how well everything went thanks to her team. My maid of honor, Jess, who is an event planner herself down in Georgia, has also written a review of the inn because she was so impressed by the entire weekend. Our bartender Ed was so fun and quick with the cocktails. we stayed for the weekend with our wedding party and booked the dinner here as well. It made the whole experience that much more relaxing. It was an exciting energy and less of a frenzied energy that most brides feel.

I could not have asked for a more perfect day. The food was FANTASTIC. The event coordinator, Guen, was so easy to work with. Staff was professional and so friendly. I can't say enough good things about our experience with The Wolfeboro Inn! Growing up, I spent my summers in Wolfeboro and I always knew I wanted to get married at the Inn. It's a beautiful, classic, New England venue that offers multiple options for your big day given your personal style. From our rehearsal lunch on the Winni Belle, ceremony by the gazebo and reception under the tent, to the after party and brunch in the 1812 Room the next day, we could not have asked for anything more! The food was delicious and I loved that there are various options for dinner during your reception. We chose the \"Small Plates\" option which offered guests a variety of stations rather than a standard buffet or seated dinner. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish and that's exactly what you want on your wedding day. I'm so glad we chose The Wolfeboro Inn and highly recommend Guen and the entire staff!

I really cannot recommend The Wolfeboro Inn enough.The venue itself was perfect for us with the views of the Lake and being outdoors in the New England Summer. Lo and behold..it rained! However, Guen and team were prepared the entire time and it didn't affect our wedding at all (which was my biggest nightmare in the weeks building up to the big day.) We have eaten a lot at The Inn so knew the food would be amazing, but it really exceeded expectations. All guests were more than happy. I feel like the contact with The Venue/Guen was great throughout and she coordinated with our exterior vendors in the week before to make sure everything was as planned. For example on the day of, I had forgotten to print my speech, Guen was there to print it out. All the staff seemed to go above and beyond for us and our guests and it really was the best day of my life thanks to The Wolfeboro Inn.

My wife and I got married on the Winnipesaukee Belle during a 3 hour cruise around the lake this past July. We couldn't have asked for a better venue! The Captain was outstanding as was the entire crew. The entire affair was overseen by Guen Kerr (Events Manager at the Wolfeboro Inn). She was both extremely friendly and very professional. Guen met our every need and the whole thing went perfectly. The food, wine, and bar were outstanding! We then spent the night in the Honeymoon Suite at the Wolfeboro Inn and that too was an extremely memorable night. So hats off to them for providing us with a wedding neither of us will ever forget!

My husband and I got married at the Wolfeboro Inn and everyone there was wonderful! The venue was beautiful and the staff extremely pleasant and personable. They made us feel so relaxed. Guen, the wedding coordinator, was extremely professional, responsive, and took care of pretty much everything. I donât know how she does it, but she did an amazing job. There was never a line at the bar because the bartenders were so quick and everyone complimented the food at the reception (we had boneless short ribs and stuffed chicken). This was the perfect place for us to get married, there's not one thing I would have changed.

She was super helpful, available, and answered all the questions we had. The pricing was fair, the deadlines were appropriate, and the day came together flawlessly. We hadn't met Guen until the night before the wedding since we live far away, but she was very warm, comforting, and professional. We had 145 guests in a tent on Memorial Day weekend. It rained for part of the reception but they had umbrellas for the short transit from the tent to the hotel. We couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out.

The inn went through 4 wedding planners from when I booked up to my wedding; this overwhelmed me at times. I love Guen, she jumped in and didnât miss a beat â she answered every one of my questions and helped organize and plan our wedding with our vision in mind; she was thoughtful and thought of things before we even mentioned them! She kept things on track and made sure things ran smoothly throughout the night! The food was amazing with so many wonderful choices! â we were able to get food that fit our style and budget; I cannot say enough things about Guen, and everyone at the Woleboro Inn.

Perfect spot to get married on Lake Winnipesaukee! The location and the ability to do everything from rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and brunch all in the town of Wolfeboro was amazing, no transportation needed! We started our weekend off taking a 2 hour cruise around the lake on the Winni Belle, amazing, mini wedding! The food and service on the boat was great, we brought our own speaker system and got everyone dancing upstairs on the boat! For the reception we had 150 people under the tent. Great location and food was good. Wedding planning process was a little aggravating as I went through 4 wedding coordinators and everytime there was a new one I didn't find out until I made the call, I would have assumed when one left they would good their clients a heads up that a new coordinator would be working with them. Erin did a great job in the last weeks of planning and day of. Other staff was very polite and helpful.

We actually almost booked the Wolfeboro Inn for our wedding for summer 2018. When we first toured it, we were told that there was just a minimum amount you had to spent on food based on the least expensive option with 120 people. This is the only minimum we were informed about after several communications with the staff at the inn. Lucy (who had given the tour) recently left her position, and Laura took over. Laura did not inform us of any other minimums with the exception of food (and only because we had brought it up) up until the day we were ready to sign the contract. We were then informed there was a minimum on specifically alcoholic beverages of $3,000.00 (before tax and service charges) and if we did not meet that minimum we would be charged for the remainder. This wouldnât have been a huge issue, but it was nowhere on the packet we were first given or mentioned prior to that day. When we talked to the manager about our concerns, she was unapologetic. The staff we encountered after Lucy left was in general disappointing. It often felt like we were inconveniencing them with asking basic questions via email about the venue, and at times it took over a week for a response. In conclusion, this venue took out the excitement of wedding planning for us and made us feel like an inconvenience. We ended up choosing a different waterfront property for summer 2018 with a very nice, accommodating staff! I wouldnât recommend working with Wolfeboro Inn, at least under this wedding planning staff.

My wife and I could not have chosen a more incredible venue for our wedding. From the moment we walked in the front doors a year and a half ago to check it out for a possible venue location, the staff was kind and courteous and we were taken away by the beautiful rustic elegance of the inn.We selected our venue and began working with the wonderful event staff there. Lucy and Laura, the two event managers at the inn, are an absolute pleasure to work with. They are enthusiastic, kind, helpful, and incredibly talented at what they do in making events successful.This past weekend was our wedding and it was amazing. The event went off without a hitch. The food was amazing, the rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff and service was above and beyond what you could get anywhere. After the wedding, my wife and I stayed for a few days for a mini honeymoon of sorts and I'm so glad we did. It was like being at a home away from home. It was so relaxing and so nice to be surrounded by such wonderful people (the staff) in such a nice and comfortable inn. And I will say, if you have thought about a winter wedding...do it and have it at the Wolfeboro Inn. Then stay for a few days afterwards to relax and unwind. I HIGHLY recommend it. I cannot thank or praise the Wolfeboro Inn enough. We had our wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn and it was such a great experience! Having to plan the day from Florida made it somewhat tough, but Nicole made it so easy by answering questions promptly and professionally. A month before my wedding there was a major staff change, which made the process a bit tougher in the weeks leading to my wedding. But we started working with Lucy and she was great! Unfortunately it rained on our wedding day so the ceremony had to be moved inside, but it was absolutely flawless. I would definitely recommend Wolfeboro Inn - it's a beautiful setting with a great staff!

Having to plan the day from Florida made it somewhat tough, but Nicole made it so easy by answering questions promptly and professionally. Our wedding at The Wolfeboro Inn was, in every way possible, absolutely perfect. I wasnât totally into wedding planning, but Nicole and her team made everything easier for us. They pulled everything together on the day of the wedding â the tent, the tables, chairs and linens were gorgeous, and they took care of setting everything up on the day of the wedding. It was breathtaking! Nicole was always easy to get in touch with and very responsive; sheâs a pleasure to work with and will guide you through every step of the process with patience and a smile! Jumping into wedding details can be overwhelming, but Nicole was very knowledgeable in the industry and she was a great resource when we had questions! We really appreciated that a lot of things were included in the base wedding packages for the reception and the food was delicious, everyone raved about it at the wedding!We had our ceremony down by the water, which was gorgeous, I canât believe how great the photos look with the lake in the background. Everyone had a great time â we took the Belle out for a sunset cruise the Friday before the wedding, and our guests loved hanging out at the Inn on the wedding day and exploring the town! We held the after party in the Wolfeâs Tavern, which was convenient since plenty of guests were staying at the Inn! We got married in June, and 2 ½ months later, people are still telling us what an amazing time they had and that it was the best wedding theyâve been too besides their own! Get married here, you wonât regret it!!

Our wedding at The Wolfeboro Inn was, in every way possible, absolutely perfect. I wasnât totally into wedding planning, but Nicole and her team made everything easier for us. They pulled everything together on the day of the wedding â the tent, the tables, chairs and linens were gorgeous, and they took care of setting everything up on the day of the wedding. It was breathtaking! Nicole was always easy to get in touch with and very responsive; sheâs a pleasure to work with and will guide you through every step of the process with patience and a smile! I would like to start by saying Nicole Gosselin, as mentioned in other reviews, is an absolute gem when it comes to wedding planning. She is laid back, sweet, has a sense of humor, and is great at what she does. She is quick to respond and did not get frustrated with my emails of question after question, there is something to be said for that. :) She made planning our rehearsal dinner/ceremony/reception from 1900 miles away very smooth. Because of her services I would highly recommend this venue for an event in the future. \rWith that being sad, our weekend was not exactly perfect at the Inn. Overall, the ceremony and reception were great. The staff was friendly and efficient and everyone had a great time. During the rehearsal dinner, we were given a projector that did not have sound, so that was a bit of a pain to fix but luckily we had a guest who was experienced with things of such nature. At the Wolfe's Tavern after the reception we had a poor experience with the manager on duty which was unfortunate and left an overall bad taste in our mouths to the venue as a whole. This is true of many of our guests also, which again is unfortunate because it all could have been avoided. Understandably the Inn has a job to do and this matter has since been discussed, but it still is a lingering topic that is being discussed three months after our big day and that is very disappointing. Because of this treatment I would still recommend the Inn but I would look elsewhere for your after party events or at least request ahead of time to be told who is on staff that night. I am happy to share the specific name of the manager if anyone has apprehensions, just thought it best not to post it on here. \rThat being said the location is great, the views of the lake are beautiful and the hotel itself is nice to stay at. The food was great, service aside from the one person was great, and overall we did have a positive experience at this venue and look forward to visiting in the future.

I had a small wedding (14 people) and wanted to find a beautiful location to have my ceremony and a dinner with my family. Most locations I looked at offered me a corner table in their restaurant or the corporate meeting room where I could \"bring in my food.\" Wolfeboro Inn really treated me like a bride and helped make my wedding perfect. They treated me as well as if I were to have a 200 person wedding which I really appreciated. The staff was attentive and friendly. The cost was affordable and the food was AMAZING.

My daughter got married in Wolfeboro and had her reception at the Wolfeboro Inn. She is my third child to get married in the last three years, and my fourth is getting married in January. I am getting quite experienced at wedding planning! The Wolfeboro Inn made everything so easy for me. They are experienced and professional, but still manage to be kind and joyful, in spite of my nervous moments and probably too many phone calls! Nicole has the sweetest spirit and handled every request with honesty and in a timely manner. My daughter had a short engagement and, as a result, under the tent outside of the Inn was not available for the reception (it was already reserved) so we had the downstairs ballroom. I was worried a second wedding at the same location might mean less attention for our event, and, frankly, the downstairs ballroom is not that impressive when it's empty. However, I grew up spending summers on Lake Winnipesaukee and knew the Wolfeboro Inn to be the premier resort in the area, so we went with the downstairs room. We could not have been happier! We booked the Winnepesaukee Belle for a cocktail reception following the ceremony in a beautiful, old New England church (First Christian -- directly across the street from the Inn). The Belle is owned by the Inn and easily held our group of approx. 120. Everyone loved the sunset cruise on the lake before dinner. Following the cruise, we all walked one block up the street from the docks to the Inn. (The docks and the Lake were beautiful backdrops for photos.) The ballroom was lovely, thanks to an area florist (Dandelions) and the staff at the the Inn. I dropped all our decorations off after the bridal luncheon on Friday (also at the Inn) and depended on Nicole to get everything right. She did! Down to the last candle on the mantle over the fireplace next to the bar outside the ballroom. I did not have to do one thing or make one decision during the evening. Everything was perfect! Most of our guests were from out of town (Texas) and they are still talking about my daughter's wedding. The setting was spectacular, and the details were all handled by Nicole and the staff at the Wolfeboro Inn. Many of our guests stayed at the Inn and loved the accommodations. All the rooms are different from one another. As an aside, Jimmy Fallon hangs out at the very cool bar that is inside the Inn when he is in town. I will say our per person cost was not inexpensive (approx. $150), but you get what you pay for. Also, the ballroom was the perfect size with 120 guests plus a dance floor -- we had a deejay, as a band would have taken up too much space. However, we did have a buffet dinner, which also took up space. We rented special linens and chiavari chairs through a company the Inn uses, but paid for the rental in our final Inn bill. It was nice not having to work out the details with a separate vendor. The Wolfeboro Inn was wonderful for our event -- so easy to work with, but very detail oriented. They handled everything beautifully!

I will start by saying that the staff at the Wolfeboro Inn were very nice and helpful! \rWe had our wedding ceremony at the gazebo, which was very nice. Great spot for pictures!! We had the reception on the Winnipesaukee Bell. I wanted something different for the reception, different is what I got... The crew on the boat had no idea what they were doing. The did not communicate with the DJ, to let him know when to announce us. They didn't have the Champagne ready for the toast and ended up handing it out at dinner. The food was not good (tasted much better at the food tasting). The short ribs were prepared like beef stew. I had requested that they have separate meals for the kids, which they forgot to get. Also, They served dinner on plastic plates, they had cloth napkins with plastic cutlery inside.. I was expecting to get more for the money I spent.. If I were to do it again, I would have purchased tents and has the reception at the inn.

We had a 10:30 am ceremony at the gazebo then cocktail hour and reception followed to 4 pm. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful with their landscaping and gazebo setting with lake in background. We did not have to spend any money on additions because it was perfect the way it was. The food was the highlight, - we had a buffet with haddock, chicken marsala, and prime rib- AMAZING! There is so much detail at the wolfeboro inn its incredible. Then we got their Boat that fits approx 120 people to go out on the lake that night from 7-9. Needless to say this was the highlight of the day. Although we were very budget driven, they were able to create the best wedding for us. Our guests had the best time and wished it never ended. I never thought I could have such a great wedding but they did it.

Our wedding was a dream come true! We had our ceremony at 6:30pm on a Friday night in front of the Gazebo - and was followed by a SPECTACULAR sunset cruise on the lake. The Inn staff was so helpful and responsive to our needs. The few things that came up that needed attention that worked with us to come up with a plan that worked best for US - ALWAYS. Even at times that I'm sure it probably cost them something to take care of, that wanted to make sure our day was as stress free and just as we imagined it to be. I couldn't recommend them more. \r\rThe venue is peaceful and beautiful, inside and outdoors. The food is fantastic and the staff in amazing! I felt relaxed and trusted that everything was in place at ceremony time. The Belle for unbelievable and so perfect for a relaxed fun event that we were looking for. Downstairs people hung out to chat, and upstairs turned into dancing! When we did our First Dance at Sunset the captain even asked what side of the boat we wanted the sunset on and moved it into place! If that's not incredible service, I don't know what is! (The Belle's bathrooms were also remarkably good size for a boat - plenty of room for me and my wedding gown.) \r\rFrom the planning process to the moment we stepped off the Belle at the end of the night everything was just delightful! Thank you for making this a night we'll always remember without any regrets! \r\r(I should also mention that we started planning the wedding in late February for a late June wedding date! And there were about 70 people in attendance.)

My husband and I had a great experience having our wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn. Paula was fantastic and very easy to deal with. She always responded right away whenever I emailed her with questions, you can tell she was very experienced when dealing with weddings. I had asked if I could bring stuff for smores for my guests to use at the firepits and she said that was not a problem. Not only did she put the stuff out for me it was also set up and presented so nice. It was a big hit with my guests.\r\rSome of the things that made the Wolfeboro Inn stand out was the beautiful backdrop. We had our rehearsal dinner on the Winnepesaukee Belle and I would highly recommend that! We had our wedding ceremony outside in front of the garden gazebo and our reception under the tent. Having an outside wedding was very important to us. We had the buffet and the food was excellent. Another personal touch that we thought was great was when we went back to our room at the end of the night there was a tray of food and champagne waiting for us. In addition to the food and drink there was a picture of us right after we got married already in a frame along with a gift certificate for a one night stay for our one year anniversary. It was a nice personal touch at the end of our day!\r\rThere were a few things that didn't seem to go as planned. There was a mix up with my husbands hotel room the night before the wedding so he ended up without a room, luckily his family had rented a house nearby that he could stay at. My husbands parents table was not placed where we had put it on the diagram and they ended up behind other tables when they were supposed to be close to us right on the dance floor. And the last thing was with the buffet. There was only one buffet line for over 160 people, which made it seem like some people had to wait a lot longer then others to eat and one of the last tables to be called up was my husbands parents and grandparents table, I feel like they should have been called up in the beginning. \r\rOverall I would still highly recommended this venue and Paula!! The few mix ups were only noticed by us and we didn't let it ruin our day. We would like to thank the Wolfeboro Inn and their staff for a day we will never forget!
