The Wynden Reviews
Kate Eikrem(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-10-2020 We had our wedding here in October 2020. Originally, we planned on getting married at our church and then having the reception inside. But due to COVID, we had to move the ceremony to the Wynden last minute. Normally it seems like the Wynden does receptions inside (which is also beautiful!) but we requested that the reception be completely outside. The staff of the Wynden - in particular Pam, STEPPED UP. They worked with every single request we had to keep it safe and the outdoor reception was STUNNING. More amazing than I could have ever imagined. The lights, the trees, the gazebo - it was all absolutely beautiful. It's like the COVID regulations gave me the wedding I didn't know I wanted. Pam helped us every step of the way, and on the day of she was on top of every single detail - I don't even know how she kept up with it all!! The food was incredible - so many compliments. The Bartenders were fantastic and efficient. The entire staff was friendly, energetic and wonderful! Especially now during the pandemic, but all the time - I would recommend the Wynden to anyone. Absolute perfection in every way. Reviewed on 26-10-2020
Stephanie Abiassi(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-10-2022 We absolutely loved the Wynden from the moment we stepped inside and never ended up even touring another venue. It's mostly indoor but has a beautiful outdoor space, too, if that's something you're wanting to take advantage of on a rare nice day in Houston. The catering is done by Masraff's so the food is incredible (I'm still hearing about it months after my wedding), and the space's coordinator, April, is so nice as well as being super responsive to all of the questions you'll have leading up to your wedding day. I couldn't recommend this space more! Reviewed on 22-12-2022
Samantha Lam(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-03-2021 Our wedding was absolutely perfect! We had so many compliments on the food (a huge deciding factor was that the restaurant Masraff's would be making the food). We used Pam at the venue as our day of coordinator, and she was AWESOME. She answered every question and email promptly, made sure the day ran effortlessly and smoothly. Our guests had the best time. We loved holding the ceremony outside at the beautiful gazebo and courtyard and having the reception inside. The dance floor and the lights in the background were a great touch. All our guests had so much fun hitting up the bar with our signature cocktails and dancing the night away. It was the perfect day! Reviewed on 20-03-2021
Catherine Szeto(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-11-2020 We just had our wedding ceremony and reception in the first weekend of November, after postponing it twice due to COVID. The venue building itself is lovely and looks classy both during the day and at night. The courtyard doesn't look like much during the day but when you have all your decor set up and if you have your reception outside, it's beautiful and romantic with the string lights! Now, I have to give a big THANK YOU to Pamela Sparks, the venue coordinator. She is a true professional and hard worker. She was so kind and understanding when we postponed right when everything started shutting down due the pandemic and and when we postponed again due to very high COVID case count. For all the planning, anything that the venue was able to do, Pamela made it happen. On the day of the event, Pamela was THE BEST. She hustled 100% - getting things moved around, moving tables, serving the hor d'eourves, and on top of that, giving my husband and I true VIP service. She is also the sweetest human being. In consideration to the pandemic, Pamela and all the staff around during the event wore masks properly and were gloved when serving food.Last thing, ALL the food was top notch! The quality was exactly the same as we had during the tasting. Reviewed on 11-11-2020
Maria Carlton(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-10-2020 We changed reception venues in March 2020, and rebooked at The Wynden. Then, at the last minute, our church cancelled on us, so we moved the whole thing to The Wynden. Pam worked with us every step of the way. They were friendly, helpful, easy to reach, and affordable. We got so many complements about how beautiful it was. Reviewed on 20-10-2020
Jennifer Burgess(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-10-2020 The best decision we made was having our wedding here. The main initial reason was purely for ease - and things just got better from there! The Wynden has everything you need in a facility for what we thought was a very reasonable price after looking at other Houston locations. Nice tables, chairs, dinnerware, tablecloths, a dance floor setup, a nice bridal room ... even catering! The Wynden is owned by Masraffâs restaurant so that completely took stress out of having to find a caterer and service staff. The food served was absolutely wonderful - all of our guests said it was the best food they had ever had for a wedding. Guests also called my parents afterward asking for what the wines were because they were so good! From the very beginning we worked with Pam, the coordinator, for our special day. I was in direct contact with her via email, phone calls, and text message throughout the planning process, and even more so closer to the big day. She was so kind and professional, very organized, and was always prompt in getting back with me. She really cared about making our wedding what we wanted it to be and she and The Wynden staff worked so hard for us. We stopped by The Wynden several times during planning to talk with her in person and get a feel for decorations. We were always welcomed and treated so well. She absolutely has experience handling weddings and knows what she is doing. She handled everything for us on the day of and made sure the ceremony and reception went smoothly. Because of her and The Wynden staff, we were able to enjoy the wedding day and not worry about a thing. The ceremony space is outdoors in their main courtyard area, and Pam handled the chair rental and setup for us, as well as meeting with us the evening before during the rehearsal. The outdoor area is beautiful. There is a nice gazebo that your florist can decorate with flowers, and lights are strung between the trees over the area where the chairs are. The indoor area is also so classy and neatly taken care of and was just perfect. After getting ready in the bridal room and walking out to see what everything looked like before guests started to arrive ... it was simply stunning. I could not be more pleased with how everything went, from the facility itself, to Pam coordinating everything for us (including calling our florist and other vendors to make sure everything was ok) to the Masraffâs owners, and catering and service staff. I canât speak highly enough of The Wynden. It was simple elegance at its best, which is exactly what I was hoping for and the experience was wonderful. My parents and my husband and I could not be happier or more grateful!!!!!! Reviewed on 20-10-2020
Justin Zapeta(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-07-2020 We had our wedding here July 25, everything was amazing. Pamela and The Wynden surpassed every expectation and then some. Our guests were blown away by the food, the atmosphere, professionalism of the staff and how perfect everything was. Everyone asked where the food came from and directions to their new restaurant location (9655 I-10/Katy Fwy at Bunker Hill Rd). This is all very important while dealing with covid 19. Being able to have 1 night without any stress or worry due to covid 19 and being able to take our minds off of all the negativity going on in the world right now (while still following cdc guidelines) and focus on just having a fun and memorable night meant the world to us and all of our guests. Pamela and the Wynden were able to create a perfect night that we as well as all of our guests will always remember. I would not recommend any venue other than The Wynden to any bride and groom who are still going through with their wedding, or any wedding at any time in general. I also wouldn't recommend having anyone other than Masraffs cater any event you may be planning. We couldn't be more thankful for Pamela, The Masraffs, and every employee who took care of us that evening. Anyone who is planning a wedding and passes on this venue is making a huge mistake. Years from now our kids will have their weddings at The Wynden- thatâs how amazing everything was for our wedding reception. Reviewed on 26-08-2020
Anne Ervine(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-02-2020 My husband and I had our reception here and it was amazing! All of our guests commented the food was incredible and the venue is beautiful. Alison Kochman(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-09-2019 My husband and I were over the moon about the experience we had at The Wynden. We had our wedding reception at The Wynden, and we felt that all of our guests were given the best service and experience possible. Jennifer was our coordinator, and she was sensational! Every time my husband and I turned around, she was there with water or food. Our guests could not stop raving about the food--from Masraff's--and people still comment on how much they loved our food stations! Jennifer made the planning experience low stress. She took detailed notes, listened closely to what I wanted, and did everything to make sure our event went the way we wanted. I can't rave about The Wynden enough! Reviewed on 27-10-2019
Allie Stroman(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-09-2019 This was the absolutely perfect venue for my husband and I's wedding! It's beautiful, the food is amazing, and most importantly for us is that it is all one level (perfect for our elderly family members to get around). A huge perk was the fact that The Wynden has an onsite Event Director, Jennifer. Jennifer was so helpful in making sure our vision came to life for our big day, but also made sure the event ran smoothly. If there were any problems, certainly didn't hear about them! If we did it over again, we would do it the same way. Reviewed on 16-10-2019
Lauren Hendry(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-03-2019 I had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Wynden and loved the venue. The Wynden is owned by Masraff's so they are the sole caterer for the property which means you know the food will be PHENOMENAL. Other than the unfortunate timing of construction on S Post Oak right in front of the venue during the month of my wedding, everything worked out great. There's private parking, which is rare to find in downtown Houston, and plenty of space to accommodate large or small parties. If you have large bridal parties, you may want to utilize one of the nearby hotels for more room to get ready as their bridal suite is really only comfortable for a party of 4 -5 to get ready in. Great location in the Galleria area, plenty of hotel options within 2 miles, food and drinks were outstanding and Russell and his staff are amazing to work with. Would definitely recommend! Carmen Kirksey(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-03-2019 While a beautiful venue I was disappointed at the service provided by the event management. We were told twice by the original event manager, Dani Meador that there was no need to hire and event coordinator because The Wynden took care of everything and acted as event coordinator the wedding day. So over the course of three days I brought decor items over for my wedding and provided a visio chart for the setup to the manager, Jordan. Not once did she ask about deliveries nor did she explain she did not setup. I only learned of this the day the wedding after I inquired (literally hours before the wedding). My wedding party had to scramble 3 hours before the wedding to put items on each table.Did I only pay for food and not service? I do not understand why a decent event manager/coordinator would not mention that they did not setup tables with the decor provided.  My wedding could have been setup the day before if Jordan would have said something. When I visited The Wynden in the past, I saw Dani setup table numbers, sashes and place floral arrangements on tables. The only thing she stated she didn't do was climb. She provided me with the layout of the venue so that I could provide her with how the reception should be setup. It's dissapointing that Jordan pick and chose what she would setup. In addition, upon arrival to the venue March 4, 2019 I discovered that the fountain was gone for our outdoor wedding and wouldn't be replaced. On March 7, 2019 I was told that lights would be in the trees and string light bulbs that were not lit would be replaced.  On March 8, 2019, workers were vacuuming as guest arrived at 6pm. They asked I thought we were in The Galleria area? and thought it was in poor taste. It looked as if The Wynden was unprepared. As I walked down the aisle, I noticed none of these things occurred. Again, did I just pay for food. The ambiance, that I thought we would have for our outdoor wedding was gone. On March 9, 2019 a vendor contacted me trying to pickup an item and Jordan was not available for pickup. I've been to The Wynden when vendors picked up items the next day, but Jordan stated the wrong vendor contact and said she would call them. I spoke with the vendor March 10, 2019 and they never heard from her. The vendor had to wait a week to pick up their items.Sorry is not good enough at this point. Several times we had to request for invoices/receipts because we paid cash. We did not use The Knot to find the venue so I'm not sure why Jordan would go through that website to provide us with one, wait until we requested a receipt or text a screenshot.  In addition, I don't understand why she felt comfortable enough to ask my age but not comfortable enough to tell me she did not put table arrangements on the tables. We thought the location and ownership of the venue would represent the type od service we would receive but we were mistaken. We paid for great food, a pretty venue and to be in the Galleria area.  Kind Regards,Carmen Kirksey Reviewed on 24-03-2019

Marisol Castro(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-10-2018 After months of searching for the perfect venue for our wedding reception we were very happy when we finally found The Wynden! We held our reception at the Wynden on 10/13/18.My husband, mom and I did the walk through on a Saturday afternoon, immediately after arriving, we were met by the nicest person in the world, Dani Meador, the events manager. She was very helpful in answering all of our questions and going through the package options with us. Not once was she pushy/rude or got annoyed at our questions (we had already done a couple of walk-throughs at other event venues that we wrote off right away) and we felt very at ease with her. Towards the end of the walk through we had already made up our minds and knew we had to have our wedding at The Wynden. We still had two other event spaces we needed to look at but none compared to The Wynden. We loved the fact that Dani and Russell were able to work with our budget and we booked The Wynden for our reception! We had our taste testing about a month before the wedding and Russell came out and introduced himself and was able to answer all of our questions. We truly felt the Masraff's love! The food at the taste testing was amazing and I even joked that I would need a second dress the night of the wedding so that I could eat all the dessert I wanted!Cocktail hour was held outside, luckily the weather cooperated! The bar was set up at the gazebo and the drinks were flowing and the passed appetizers were a hit! We did dinner buffet style and it was set up in a separate room, Dani and her team helped controlled the buffet line and made sure everything went smoothly. The food! the food was the best part! I never believed other brides when they said that they didn't get to eat the day of their wedding but now I see how it's easy to not eat, but Dani made sure we had a plate of food and I definitely ate. We also had a dessert bar, but I unfortunately didn't get to eat all of the desserts we had as I kept getting pulled away! We got so many compliments on the food. To this date we continue to get messages about the food.My husband is Filipino and I am Mexican, we wanted our bride and groom drinks to give a nod to our culture. Mine was a prickly pear margarita and his was a calamansi sour. We sent Dani the recipes and the bartender worked her magic and did an amazing job at mixing them. (we tried recreating the calamansi sour on our own, but the bartenders did much better job than we did).Having Dani as the day of coordinator was a huge help! We knew we were in good hands and completely trusted Dani with a lot of the decisions. She is awesome at communicating and answering questions. She was able to help us get a great package for the DJ/Photobooth and other extras. (which BTW the DJ was amazing). I truly do recommend The Wynden for weddings, events, etc... You will be in great hands. Another plus of having your wedding/event at The Wynden is you can always visit Masraffs after if you are craving the food! We are actually thinking of going to Masraffs for our one year anniversary. (yes we take our food seriously and even though our anniversary is next year it doesn't hurt to plan ahead :) Reviewed on 25-10-2018

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! And I am very choosy, we looked at a lot of venues. So much warmer and more interesting than a big rectangle hotel ballroom. We truly loved every minute of the reception at the Wynden. So many people have told us it was the best venue and food for a wedding they have ever attended. The waiters and bartenders were so helpful. The waiters helped so much even though we had a buffet. They event went and filled the plates for some of our older guests! a member (groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-06-2015 My wife and I had a wedding party (a month after our smaller, private wedding) at the Wyden for 170 people. Ginger and her staff were really great. I'd like to think of myself as a glass half full person, but I expected some aspect of the reception to fail to deliver. All aspects delivered and delivered exceptionally well: Flowers (Beautiful), Food (Great), Wait Staff (Courteous), Childcare Room (a Nice Benefit), Cigar Rollers (Recommended by Ginger), Outside Tented Facilities, Scotch/Whiskey Bar, etc. Ginger is assertive and we really liked that fact. Not shy about offering an opinion, but obviously willing to defer to our decisions. I'd personally prefer someone with an opinion, rather than someone always too ready to say \"Gosh, its up to you.\" She is smart and experienced and shares those smarts/experiences. For sake of completeness, I'll offer one minor caveat. We thought that the DJ she recommended was too expensive and ended up finding our own (that worked out fine). Ginger was happy to deal with our chose of DJ.\r\rThe Wynden is a nice, flexible facility. It does not have a strong theme that can overtake your event. It is almost like a large, modern country cottage. That makes it more flexible, in our view, than someplace that has a stronger identity.\r\rIf we had another event (personal or professional) that fit the Wynden, we'd go back.\r\r5 Stars.\r\rBruce Lundstrom Reviewed on 17-09-2015

D Caperton(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-04-2014 I'm late to review, but I had my wedding reception this April 2014 at the Wynden. Not sure where to begin because everything went SO well. Ginger Maxwell, the event coordinator at the Wynden, was amazing to work with. She is truly wonderful at what she does - accommodating, friendly, professional, innovative...the list goes on! She always had such a calm demeanor and energy that always reassured me she had the situation under control. I've heard many horror stories about vendors and wedding planners/coordinators and I had zero of that. Ginger made all the reception planning such a breeze and I am so thankful for her!\r\rAlright so the day of the reception...absolutely magnificent! I never once had to call or send anyone to do anything at the venue. Ginger took care of all the deliveries, caterer (Masraff's - more on them in a second), all my setups, flowers (Plants & Petals), etc. When I arrived to the venue it took my breath away. She captured my vision down to the tee. Not only was it visually stunning, she made sure all of the reception events actually happened. She did all this without ever being pushy or overly involved with the guests - truly amazing! She was devoted to the night happening just as I had planned and I knew she had my groom and my back the entire time...she would even appear out of nowhere and make sure my drink was topped off the whole night! \r\rMasraff's - really don't need to say much more. We did a buffet style dinner...people acutally went back for seconds! And everyone was raving about the food all night. Your money is not wasted on food if you book your reception here. Your guests will literally tell you \"this is the best wedding food I've ever had\". I can't tell you how nice that is to hear and see as opposed to seeing full plates being thrown away because your guests didn't like the food. Masraff's is also in charge of the service, and again impeccable.\r\rAll in all, my experience at the Wynden was wonderful. Everything is done by different package options, so it's a one stop shop. Once you sign the dotted line: food, flowers, bar, service, and coordinator are all booked. All things considered, the pricing is VERY reasonable for the level of service and quality you receive. I would do it all again if I could! Reviewed on 10-09-2014

This means they are in the service industry and will do anything to make sure you are happy. They worked with us on the menu allowing us to customize it to include our favorite appetizer, we met the bartender at Masraff's and he made our signature cocktail three times until we decided it was just right, and coordinated many other details to take the stress off us. This kind of service is different than most other wedding venues, who have the mentality that you need them more than they need you. Meaning, the quality of food and service you receive at other venues is average.\r\rSpeaking of food, the food is from the Masraff's kitchen, which is fabulous. All our guests raved about the food saying it wasn't the typical wedding banquet quality. It was a highlight! \r\rI would highly recommend The Wynden to anyone having a wedding in Houston! Anonymous (parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-04-2014 \rWe recently celebrated our daughter's wedding. It was a very happy and successful event. The reception took place at The Wynden in the Galleria area. The food, flowers, and attention to every detail surpassed our expectations. The bride and groom were very pleased. Their guests, the families, and friends of the families all had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed themselves. No issues/problems of any sort were perceived by anyone. But the most valuable aspect of having chosen The Wynden was planning with the help, guidance, and reassurance of Ginger Maxwell, The Wynden's Sales Manager. She was helpful from the moment we met and every step of the way until the very end. The Wynden offered us a very complete cocktail hour and reception package that simplified the planning of the wedding and allowed us to concentrate in other areas for this happy occasion. Thank you Ginger! Reviewed on 03-07-2014
Stephanie Yi(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-05-2014 Perfect setting for our wedding reception - the venue not only provided excellent food (as expected from the Masraff kitchen) but also superb service. Ginger, the coordinator, made sure everything went smoothly. The atmosphere is very laid back but nice. The full bar and lounge area is a nice edition for any party. The only weakness if the small dance floor, but we had a small wedding so it worked. The outside cocktail hour was also a great hit with our guests. Recommend getting sparklers for your exit, they make for beautiful pictures given the layout of the venue. Reviewed on 17-06-2014
Lauren Heath(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-01-2014 Ginger, the coordinator, was absolutely wonderful! This was definitely not her first rodeo and she took all of the stress off of us as well as my wife's parents. I have had so many family members and friends tell us how perfect everything was and how smoothly the evening went. She also had so many wonderful tips that made our wedding that much better. She even recommended most of our vendors including our band who were a HUGE hit. Most importantly, she saw to it that my wife and I were able to actually sit down and enjoy dinner at the reception (a rarity for the bride and groom from what I hear). The staff were extremely polite, helpful and professional. Food was outstanding. The venue was extremely beautiful and very private. We enjoyed the warm and personal feeling that it puts off. My wife and I have not a single complaint nor a single thing we would have changed. Reviewed on 05-02-2014
Marylaurenheath (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-01-2014 I recently had my wedding at the Wynden and the entire experience surpassed all of my expectations. Ginger was wonderful and extremely responsive to any concern I had about the big day. She kept the entire wedding/reception flowing nicely and was attentive to all of our needs (she even got everything packed from the dressing room before we made our get away!). She made my night virtually stress free :)\r\r Plants n Petals (the florist who worked with The Wynden) was amazing as well. The entire space was decked out with flowers and candles. Absolutely gorgeous. \r\rI used Susie's Cakes for our wedding cake. Gorgeous/delicious cake and way better price point than who made the cake (which is The Wynden's preferred vendor).\r\rMasraffs provided the food and the wait staff. The food and service was FANTASTIC! I literally cannot say enough good things about our experience. Everything was magical! I want to relive my wedding night all over again. Reviewed on 05-02-2014
Lindsey Bradshaw(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-10-2013 The Wynden was an AMAZING venue for a ceremony and reception. I could not have been happier with the venue and Ginger (the coordinator) and so on a scale of 1-10, I'd rate it all a 100!!! \r\rWe wanted to get married outside and the courtyard and gazebo were such an ideal setting. The Wynden recently acquired some additional land in the courtyard area which included this gorgeous old oak tree - anyone who appreciates the outdoors will fall in love with it - so perfect for outdoor ceremony and/or cocktail hour. The indoors, where the reception was held were great as well. Many of the venues we checked out are so large and grand, but that they take the intimacy out of being in the same room with all of your friends and family...The Wynden's reception room was classically pretty, and large and comfortable enough for our 185 person wedding, but didn't make us feel like we were separated or had to walk a mile to get the bar or dance floor. Also, its SO close to the black swan at the Omni, which is perfect for those who want to get a little after party in with their guests. \r\rThey also don't nickle and dime you like other venues will. No ridiculous cake cutting fees or hidden charges, so while we were slightly over our budget (as we added on an extra hour to the reception we loved it so much), my dad didn't even care because he was so happy with how it all went and loved the food, drinks, and venue so much, so felt it was all worth it and great value for the level of service you get at The Wynden. \r\rThe venue is owned by Masaraff's restaurant and, therefore, catered by it. So AMAZING - The food is SO.GOOD. We had so many compliments on our food. You won't be disappointed. \r\rGinger is the wedding coordinator that is there with you from the very beginning, and she blew away our expectations. We seriously could not have managed without her! Throughout the whole planning process, she was so easy to work with, fun to be around, and accommodating to our requests and questions, and has great suggestions and recommendations for what works best at the venue. She is there with you during day of the ceremony and reception and making sure things go smoothly - total bonus as you don't have to hire a \"Day-of Coordinator\"! She is organized and on top of her game, and a calming force if you ever start to feel overwhelmed...which makes any bride feel at ease when they know someone has it all under control. I never felt concerned or stressed during the planning process, as Ginger was seriously on top of it all. She is no doubt the icing on the cake to this venue! I feel so lucky to have had her part of the planning process. \r\rOverall, The Wynden was so perfect for our ceremony and reception, as it totally exceeded our expectations and I can not recommend it enough! My daughter and future husband chose the Wynden for their wedding reception after researching numerous venues and visiting their top three prospects. From the initial contact through the event, Ginger did a wonderful job. She conducts business with the perfect combination of flexibility and professionalism. Ginger is experienced and helpful without being domineering. The food tasted great, was plentiful and had great presentation. The service provided by the entire staff was superb. Lindsay Green(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-03-2013 The Wynden was an absolutely fantastic venue for our March wedding! \rThe people: \rGinger was my point-person, and I canât say enough wonderful things about her. Her vendor recommendations were excellent, and she was indispensible on the day of the wedding. We did not have a âcoordinatorâ throughout any of the process, but having her there to bounce ideas off of and to help me to make site-specific decisions every now and then ⊠and to serve as the day-of coordinator was a huge load-off.\rThe Masraffâs staff (package deal) is excellent. They were all attentive, and kept things running smoothly all evening long!\rThe space:\rWe had our ceremony outside (though it was hit or miss as to whether the weather was going to cooperate). The lay-out is fresh, clean, and lovely for a wedding. We added nothing to the gazebo, and just had a few aisle arrangements every few rows of the rented white folding chairs. Then, we added some string lighting above to make it feel more intimate and romantic as night fell during the reception. We ended up with about 170 guests, which was the perfect size (as was previously suggested by Ginger) for the space. We did a buffet, but tables were assigned, and that worked really nicely as well.\rThe food:\rWe love good food, so it was important to us that we feed our guests well. At the Wynden, you must use Masraffâs catering, which was absolutely excellent. We got so many compliments on the food that we lost count.\rOverall: \rWe highly recommend this venue! And you truly canât beat the central location, surrounded by tons of hotel options, and so close to so many restaurants, bars, the Galleria, etc. Reviewed on 17-06-2013

So thrilled my daughter chose this fabulous venue for her wedding reception.\rOur daughter's wedding & reception was 1/26/13, but I don't want to start there. The work starts so many months prior to the event & if the planning isn't good, neither is the celebration. The Wynden's director, Ginger, was an ace! Professional from the beginning, she was organized, articulate and responsive. She had lists, diagrams, and God bless her, opinions! She kept us on track and made sure we made deadlines. She took on many jobs we should have done ourselves & was genuinely happy to do so. When catastrophe struck (the sign-in book didnât appear), she had someone get one!!!! \rWay above the call of duty!!! Of course when the food, service, and the venue are great, it doesn't hurt. I canât praise their team enough about all three. Colleagues, friends & family raved all night & afterwards about how beautiful the reception hall was & how delicious the food. I was sad to see the night end, but even after, b/c items have to be picked up & returned, the Wyndenâs team excelled. They had everything packed when I arrived and my car loaded up in minutes. Ten stars for this professional group!\r Reviewed on 16-04-2013

She took care of everything we asked her to (and a ton of things we didn't). What I loved most was that she didn't try to just give us everything we wanted and make us keep throwing money at the reception. She was completely upfront about what would work and what wouldn't, and everyone she referred to us for other vendors (florals, cake, etc) were wonderful.
