Thompson Savannah Reviews
The Thompson was absolutely amazing for our destination wedding for 60. Stephanie and Casandra could not be more wonderful in all the preparation. All the staff was so professional and friendly. The food was actually great. Bartender was awesome and was a REAL bartender. We used the terrace for the ceremony and then the adjoining sunroom for the reception. I was told that something always goes wrong…well it was perfection. Room was beyond beautiful and every need was met. Great views of the river and great location. I would not change a thing. Everything from deliveries flown in to the smallest details were handled efficiently by the staff. I can not thank them enough. All the guests commented on how wonderful the hotel and staff were. Bar Julien has amazing views, food, and drinks as well (we may have annoyed the managers a bit but even they came around eventually). Would highly recommend.

Jenna and the entire Thompson team were incredible. We planned our big day from Nashville without seeing the hotel or our space in person. Jenna answered every question, call, text, and FaceTime with professionalism and kindness. Our day turned out perfect because of her and her team. I didn’t have any worry going into the reception because I knew they would be on top of anything we needed. During dinner, the service staff were also incredible. Extremely attentive. Take it from me: Get married in Savannah at the Thompson Hotel! Different venue options to choose from, excellent staff, beautiful location. You won’t regret it!

Jenna and the team did a wonderful job-our welcome reception, wedding ceremony and reception, and farewell brunch all went off without a hitch! The venue was beautiful and the food was delicious. The Thompson team was super responsive and ensured that we had a perfect wedding weekend!
