Nestled on a historic farmstead in Carlisle, PA, Three Gables Barn offers country elegance and rustic charm for your wedding day celebrations. Views of surrounding pastures and Blue Mountain abound as you exchange your vows beneath old-growth trees at the heart of the farm. The Mountain View Patio and pavilion is available for your guests to enjoy an elegant cocktail reception or a round of traditional outside games while the wedding party takes advantage of the many pastoral photographic opportunities that the farmstead provides. Then it is off to the 200 year old limestone barn for your reception. A historic and grandiose space featuring original hand-hewn beams, wide plank floors, massive limestone walls and cedar shake roof combined with attractive chandeliers and market lighting, a rustic bar built from reclaimed timbers and modern bathrooms and conveniences. Why sacrifice comfort to enjoy such a stunning backdrop on your Wedding Day? Three Gables Barn can accommodate up to 205 guests. Wedding couples will enjoy exclusive use of the property on their contracted date. The Wedding Package includes an extensive collection of tables and chairs for both the ceremony and main reception in addition to over-sized umbrellas and decorative pieces, which are perfect for adding a unique touch to your event. Charming suites are provided in one of the historic buildings on the farmstead for both the Bride and Groom's parties to change and prepare for the “Big Day” ahead. Several foul weather back-up contingencies are available based on the size of your party.

Ted (the owner) was so easy to work with and made the process of preparing for, setting up and cleaning up so great. This place is beautiful and very easy to work with. For couples who are searching: the way this place operates is more blank slate than do it all for you, but we loved that we were able to work with any vendors we wanted, and the owners were so helpful and kind. The venue has a great space for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, and the inside of the barn is magical. Couldn’t have asked for a better location for both our wedding and reception!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Ted at Three Gables Barn! The grounds are absolutely STUNNING. There isn't a single place on the property that isn't perfect for pictures and to serve as a gorgeous backdrop no matter where you are. Ted is extremely kind, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything with the space suits your event reasonably and communicates so well throughout the process. The pricing was VERY reasonable and allowed for us to do more for our guests because we didn't get raked over the a la carte charges other venues get you on. I don't have a single negative thing to say about our entire experience, and I would highly recommend Three Gables Barn for ANYONE. A little note- the barn does not have AC, however, even on our 90+ degree wedding day it wasn't miserable- the fans provided awesome airflow and we were able to party from 3pm-11pm perfectly comfortably. Thank you, Ted, for all your hard work! Our day was incredible!

Our wedding couldn't have happened without Three Gable Barn. 5 days before the day of our wedding, the venue we had originally booked cancelled on us. We made many phone calls, which led us to the Three Gables Barn. Not only were they able to see us that same day for a venue walk, but they worked overtime to get the venue ready in time for our wedding because they hadn't originally planned to have any weddings so soon. They made arrangements to have us view the venue, have a planning consultation, and give us time at the venue for a rehearsal all within the span of a few days. They saved our day, and were wonderful to work with during the whole process. I would absolutely 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a venue in this area, we couldn't have done it without them!

First off three gables is a beautiful venue for a wedding! Ted was amazing from the beginning before we booked with him and throughout the planing process! He was always a phone call away with any advice we needed and was incredibly accommodating given that we live about two hours from the venue. He took quite a bit of stress off us on our wedding day by being a person of contact with our vendors and he made sure everything ran smoothly! We would definitely recommend three gables to anyone looking for a beautiful barn venue!

First off three gables is a beautiful venue for a wedding! Ted was amazing from the beginning before we booked with him and throughout the planing process! He was always a phone call away with any advice we needed and was incredibly accommodating given that we live about two hours from the venue. He took quite a bit of stress off us on our wedding day by being a person of contact with our vendors and he made sure everything ran smoothly! We would definitely recommend three gables to anyone looking for a beautiful barn venue!

We dreamed of a Sunday brunch wedding and that severely limited the venues we could choose from because not everyone could accommodate that dream. Ted and Chutima Canaday, however were very accommodating to make our dreams come to fruition. Ted was very responsive prior to our wedding to ensure he understood and would set up everything we needed prior to our wedding day. He thought of things we didn't even think of and offered suggestions from previous weddings to make our dream wedding happen. We wanted tables outside for the cocktail hour and Ted made the vision happen. He was then so helpful the day of. It rained all morning and Ted and his wife were there to ensure we could decorate all of the spaces and the seats were dried off prior to the ceremony so our guests did not sit on wet seats. It was an such an amazing day thanks to Three Gables Barn. I would definitely recommend this venue!

I found Three Gables Barn a year and a half before our wedding date and fell in love with the venue even when the photos were stripped bare (new vendor). I loved that I could make it my own from a blank Canvas. I reached out to Ted (owner) days after my engagement and he was willing to allow us to tour within days of our request. He was super responsive throughout the whole process and extremely accommodating with all of our requests. The venue and all the amenities were super affordable and his contract was reasonable and easy to follow. I must say that Ted was very flexible and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that our wedding went without a hitch. He was there for the whole process of transforming his venue into an old-world Celtic experience. I felt transported in time. By the end of all our planning and his easy-going nature, I felt like I became a friend to him as he made us so comfortable. He was generous, kind, and positive with my family and I was so happy to share a hug with him on my wedding day. He was walking around and assisting with a big smile on his face. I would go back to him in a heartbeat for other event planning and would highly recommend him to anyone that was looking. I know that during this whole process, I've been telling everyone about Three Gables Barn and constantly am sharing the link to them and telling my friends to consider him! What an outstanding experience! Thank you, Three Gables Barn, for my best day ever!

We had our perfect fall wedding at the Three Gables Barn! The venue exceeded expectations. The interior was so charming and inviting. The outdoor patio for cocktail hour was enchanting and the back-drop of the mountains was breath-taking. The chicken coop was renovated into the bride and groom suite which was decorated so nicely. The owner of the venue, Ted Canaday was extremely attentive throughout the whole process and made the whole day come together for us! Thank you so much!

My husband and I picked Three Gables Barn for our wedding venue and we were so happy we did. We liked that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception could all be in one place. The grounds were beautiful as the mountains in the background for the ceremony were gorgeous. However, my favorite part of the whole venue was the bar inside the barn. Super impressive! They keep the venue looking super pristine and polished. Not to mention, the owner Ted is super easy to work with and very accommodating.

The grounds were beautiful as the mountains in the background for the ceremony were gorgeous. However, my favorite part of the whole venue was the bar inside the barn. Super impressive! Before choosing our venue, we saw numerous, but we immediately fell in love with this venue! The barn is gorgeous, and the ceremony space along with the whole property was just perfect for us!!Ted was so helpful and ensured we had the day we always dreamed of! Ted with Three Gables Barn helped us organize our wedding planning during the pandemic, and we are so thankful for his responsiveness, understanding, and flexibility in the middle of constant event restriction changes! He was always available whenever we had questions and gave us plenty of different options on how to use the venue space. The venue itself is beautiful. We had an outside ceremony that looked out onto the fields, and the reception was held in the renovated barn, with beautiful restored wood and antique decor. The bar area was so unique and we loved the old books and intimate setting. It was the perfect rustic barn wedding space!
