Make it an event to remember. If your looking for a setting that is truly unique you have come to the right place. The interior of Timber Creek is designed using handcrafted timber frame construction and mortise and tenon joinery. Natural wood beams, soaring ceilings, intimate lighting, and unique spaces make our venue one of a kind. The open floor space in the banquet hall is 4,800 square feet. We can seat up to 300 guests. Our bridal suite is a full 3 bedroom home plus makeup room all under the same roof. Full kitchen, living, laundry, 2 bath with overnight stay included for Saturday weddings We are located on 11 acres of private land just outside of the St. Joseph city limits. We are far enough outside for that quiet setting away from the city yet close enough for convenience.

I need 10 stars to rate this venue and Jeremy as well as his staff. This is truly one of the most beautiful venues I've ever seen. I got so many compliments on it and I honestly wish I had more reasons to have events here! Jeremy was by far the best and most easiest vendor to work with. Very responsive! Provides so many extra amenities at no extra cost and truly went above and beyond with any request! I will always recommend him, his team, and the incredible venue he has built! By far just such an amazing place and truly created such an incredible location for one of the biggest days of my life.

We had such a great experience with Timber Creek! They were a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Rose, their Event Coordinator, made sure that our night was perfect. If something went wrong during the night, my guests and I had no idea because she was so on top of it.

Cannot recommend this venue enough. It was not only in our price range, but it was the most amazing venue to have a wedding. Jeremy was so patient and flexible with us throughout the entire wedding process. Anytime I reached out to him with questions, he responded so quickly and was so helpful. His staff is also so welcoming and kind. Rose helped out the day of our wedding and helped the day go smoothly. The venue and the property house made for the best and most convenient setup for our wedding party and guests. We were able to have the ceremony outdoors, and reception indoors. Highly recommend this venue!

There is not enough we can say about Jeremy and staff! It was absolutely the best experience we could of hoped for, for our daughters wedding. Rose and Michelle are the best, they are all truly a blessing from God. They helped so much and took a lot of the stress off of us when setting up. Original plan was to have ceremony outside but Mother Nature had other plans but Michelle took care of getting it put together inside and it was beautiful. We are trying to figure out another party we can plan just so we can see them all again! And I highly recommend renting their photo booth, Jeremy and his daughter were awesome helping out with everyone taking photos it was great and everyone truly enjoyed it. Thank you all for the wonderful experience! 🦋

Jeremy was so helpful and caring when having to reschedule everything. He helped in every way he could and went above and beyond! He answered any questions I had right away. I couldn’t of asked for a better venue for my wedding! We really lucked out! So excited for the wedding in September.

We had our wedding in August of 2019, from day one they were helpful with any questions or concerns we had. On our wedding day the staff member who attended was SOO great, she went out of her way to make sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it to be. And helped set everything up. This venue is beautiful inside and outside, and our wedding was everything we wanted.

It’s hard to bring to words how perfect this venue was for our wedding! On the most perfect day in May we tied the knot at Timber Creek. The hospitality from the start was amazing! Super quick to respond and helpful when assisting with anything we needed. Rose (the Timber Creek Staff) saved me all weekend long! I loved being able to stay the night in the beautiful house that is attached upstairs for the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding. This venue included so many things making the price point 100% worth it!

I got married here in September and I'm still in awe about how beautiful this place is!! With the outdoor and indoor options, the possibilities are endless!! We planned to have ours outdoors and it rained up the super super helpful staff made it stress free for me to switch things inside!! Sweetest, most helpful people. I cant say enough kind things! So worth the money!!

This place is incredible! Timber Creek was the only venue we looked at when searching for our ceremony and reception venue. We saw the venue before construction began for the remodel, and we knew it would be fantastic from the plans. We visited several times and the owners were always very responsive and accommodating with our questions and requests to visit. Jeremy and Rose were both so helpful throughout the planning process and during the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. The venue is extremely unique and our entire experience the night before and day of our wedding was better than we could have imagined. Everything ran very smoothly and the staff members on site were very helpful. All of our guests were in awe of how beautiful the space was. The bridal suite is the cherry on top of an already incredible venue. Oh, and our photos turned out fantastic thanks to a stunning venue! This place is what wedding dreams are made of and I would 100% recommend it to anyone!

Jeremy and his staff are amazing! So friendly and helpful! The venue is just absolutely breathtaking! My husband and I got married outside and it was the most amazing day! We held our reception inside and all of our guest raved about how beautiful and accommodating the venue was! One of my favorite things about the venue was the space they had for getting ready! The bridal suite made me want to redecorate my own house! Plus they had a separate area for the groom and groomsmen! 10/10 recommend!

We had the best experience with Timber Creek Event Center for our wedding. Rose was amazing to work with and so kind and helpful. She helped do things and offered to do things that she had no obligation to do, she just truly wanted to make sure the day went smoothly.The bridal suite was a dream, had everything you might need to get ready for your day. We stayed the night before the wedding and it was so nice to be able to be there and not feel stressed to get things done. We hired an outside vendor to come and cater our wedding as well as a bartender to take care of the bar. The set up for them was great and had everything they needed and more.Our wedding was indoor as it was on December 22nd, so we decorated ourselves and really didn't have to do much simply because the venue is so beautiful as is. We hired a DJ for the first few hours and a band for the last. Venue easily accommodated and made setup easy.Highly recommend.

Jeremy and his team is AMAZING. Jeremy, the owner, is so responsive. I felt like I annoyed him with my emails and all my questions. He was always so quick to respond and was extremely helpful. We couldn't have picked a better venue. We received so many compliments from friends/family about our wedding venue, especially from our vendors, which meant a lot to us! 100% RECOMMEND.

My husband and I toured this venue before the renovations had been done inside, the outside was basically finished, when we toured with Jeremy we knew that his vision was exactly what we wanted and booked without hesitation. We are so incredibly glad that we did. Our night was perfect! We got married on a very cold day so no outside ceremony for us but Jeremy informed us that he would put up and arbor by the barn doors for us if we would like. Rose was also marvelous, and helped me so much the night before and day of. We had so many compliments! Don’t even get me started on the bridal suite, amazing! I couldn’t have been happier with our overall experience. And wouldn’t have changed one detail.

My husband and myself found Timber Creek Event Center initially based on a beautiful photo or two that we saw on The Knot. Out of all of the options that we decided to pursue, this was the one venue that just felt right from the beginning. When you know, you know. The venue itself was beautiful, the price was right, and the owner was a perfect fit for the personality type we were looking for to have a well-executed and low stress wedding. Timber Creek Event Center was initially “Kovac’s Hall,” and was in the middle of a complete remodel when we decided to go with them. It was a risk, with us signing the contract with little more than a shake of the hand, and the vision of the owner, Jeremy Kovac, but I am so glad we decided to take that risk. He was wonderful throughout the whole process, answered each of our questions quickly and clearly, and was working nonstop to ensure everything was taken care of on time. His wife was also super sweet and helpful. They both made the whole experience low stress, and worked with us to ensure our wedding day went smoothly and beautifully. We also were told a TON of times during our wedding, including from our other vendors, how beautiful the venue was. The timber frame that they had built was stunning, the trees budding over the ceremony site, the sound system inside and outside alike was excellent, among many other details. Also, my husband and I decided to splurge and had a small firework show on site as our sendoff. This was prepared by Jeremy himself (since he has been doing firework shows for years), and it was the perfect way to end the evening. Everyone absolutely LOVED the firework show, as did we. Jeremy went above and beyond during all of our interactions. I would absolutely recommend Timber Creek Event Center, and am so glad we were able to have our wedding there.

Amazing venue! Timber Creek is gorgeous both inside and outside. The Owner Jeremy really put a lot of thought into building this unique space and it shows. Natural wood beams, soaring ceilings, and beautifully built custom bar...what more do you need? Jeremy goes above and beyond to help ensure you have what you need for your special day. Communication was easy and he was very responsive. Highly recommend this space for your wedding reception!

Not being new to the event business is a good thing. We began offering our facility for weddings and events in 2005 as Kovac's Hall. We have enjoyed working with countless couples as well as family and corporate events over the last 10+ years.After building a timberframe home 3 years ago we came to realize that there is nothing quite like the charm & warm feeling of soaring handcrafted wood beams. We decided to bring that same feeling to our event center with a complete remodel and new name utilizing the same handcrafted timberwork..........Welcome to Timber Creek.
