The Tobacco Barn at P A Bowen Farmstead is a rustic countryside wedding venue located in Brandywine, MD. This working pasture-based dairy farm, offers an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The farm also produces artisan cheese, poultry and eggs, and grass-fed beef. Throughout the property, there are plenty of sights that provide an exceptional backdrop to your occasion, as well as numerous photo opportunities. Facilities and Capacity Tobacco Barn features a fully restored tobacco barn that is wood-clad. It can accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated dinner. For those hoping to host a larger celebration, up to 250 people can dine and dance in an outdoor tent. The lawn, the barn steps, and the barn porch were all designed with a ceremony in mind. For a truly countryside feel, couples can make their grand entrance on a farm truck or even on a tractor! For your and your guests' comfort, the barn is climate controlled. Services Offered Couples can host multiple aspects of their wedding at the Tobacco Barn. Access to the Manor House can be provided for up to 35 people, making it an ideal space for rehearsal dinners and wedding brunches. The front steps of the Manor House provide the perfect background for wedding photos. Guests can also enjoy the old-fashioned farm store or simply take in the sights and sounds. This venue is ideal for outdoor games as well, bringing an extra dose of fun to your event. There is plenty of parking, and tables and chairs are included in the rental package. Between the vistas and the numerous amenities, couples can enjoy an unforgettable wedding experience.
