Tom's Town is the first legal distillery in downtown Kansas City since Prohibition. Whether you have 30 guests or 200 Tom's Town art deco event spaces can make your wedding event an unforgettable one for you and your guests. We offer two event spaces. The Rickenbacker Room on the second floor can accommodate up to 200 guests standing room, or 150 seated. The Pendergast Lounge on the ground floor, is a more intimate, speakeasy setting complete with a fireplace. It can accommodate up to 40 guests standing room or 25 for a dinner.

Always reliable to communicate with during the planning process, and went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure all of our plans went smoothly. You only get one shot at having a perfect wedding, and we wouldn’t change a thing about ours. Tom’s Town was the perfect venue. Great intimate space for the ceremony and reception, great welcoming staff.

Always reliable to communicate with during the planning process, and went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure all of our plans went smoothly. You only get one shot at having a perfect wedding, and we wouldn’t change a thing about ours. Tom’s Town was the perfect venue. Great intimate space for the ceremony and reception, great welcoming staff.

My now husband and I hosted our intimate wedding at Tom's Town on 10/16 and are still gushing at how amazing the experience was! We were able to more than comfortably host 75 guest in the Rickenbacker space. I would highly recommend this venue to any couples looking for a unique, intimate wedding experience that really makes you feel like a part of the KC community. The pricing of venue, food and bar packages were incredibly reasonable for the quality provided. Our guests were totally wowed by the ambiance, food and amazing drinks. Some are still asking for recipes ;). Special shout out to Lisa for being an amazing resource for the entire year of planning we spent together. She and her team provided such incredible service and experience day of and prior and I truly hope they are recognized and appreciated by Tom's Town! We can't wait to be able to celebrate our Anniversaries and other important life moments as Tom's Town as they made the start of our married lives a beautiful party to remember. Cheers to the amazing Tom's Town team!

From start to finish, Tom's Town exceeded my expectations. We hosted our son and future daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner in the Rickenbacker Room. The room can hold up to 200 people and I was afraid our group of 40 would feel out of place in the large space, but not so. We got couches and chairs and rugs and created comfy, unique spots to converse and visit. The view from the windows, the lighting, the furniture, room decor all combined for a breathtaking event! The best part was working with the Tom's Town staff. Lisa was professional and responsive to my every need. The food was terrific and working with Bonnie on the food was easy and enjoyable! And the staff that actually took care of us the evening of our event - AMAZING. Friendly, helpful, professional. Cory, the Event Captain was a pleasure to work with. He anticipated our needs and allowed me to be able to enjoy the evening. This was the most stress-free event I have ever hosted and it was only because I was in the reliable hands of the Tom's Town crew. I would HIGHLY recommend and if I ever get an opportunity to host another event, I would go back to them in a heart beat!

We loved using Tom’s Town for our reception venue. Due to COVID, we had to keep our guest list to 80. The space was small enough to feel intimate, but it is big enough to fit more comfortably if you wanted to. They do a lot of the work for you (setting up rentals, catering, etc.), so that was nice, but be aware, if you don’t use one of their preferred caterers, they will charge you a small additional fee. We chose to use Jack Stack, which is one of their preferred caterers, and we are so happy we did. Both us and all our guests LOVED the food! Their alcohol is also phenomenal. The communication sometimes was a little slower than we hoped, and you have to keep an eye on prices and times as you continue on (make sure they are the same numbers that you agreed to when you signed your contract), but overall, we are happy with the experience.

My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner here on December 20th and absolutely loved it! The upstairs venue space was beautiful around Christmas time! They let us pick two specialty cocktails for our event and we chose some appetizers to serve from Tom's Town kitchen before our caterer got there for dinner. The view to downtown Kansas City out the window was beautiful and I think our guests were blown away. Wade was easy to work with and answered all of our questions leading up to the event. I would highly recommend this event space!

Hosted a 100 person Friday evening Wedding rehearsal dinner at Toms Town Distilling in the heart of downtown Kansas City. Lisa made sure everything was seamless and so easy. I appreciated the time that she gave us the day before for setup. Played off the 20s vibe and the Pendergast Gatsby era historical theme with black and gold decore.Jack Stack's food and service was beyond expectations. Highly recommend adding Roasted vegetables that offered the perfect vegetarian option.

We invited 70 of our closest friends and family to celebrate our winter wedding in the Vault Room at Tom's Town. This space is inviting and intimate. We spent many evenings in front of the fireplace in the Vault Room, sipping our favorite cocktails, so this place held memories for us already.From the specialty cocktails we selected, to our favorite appetizers, Lisa made sure our night was absolutely perfect in every way. Thank you Tom's Town for delivering the experience we asked for! We made a lifelong memory in this venue, with people we love, and they are still talking about it to this day.

We had our reception at Tom's Town last November and it was perfect! Everyone at Tom's Town is very laid back and easy to work with, which made for a great planning process. We had the ceremony elsewhere downtown and every one took the streetcar to get to Tom's Town, which was really fun and cool for our out of town guests. The room itself is really beautiful, with a great view and lighting. It feels intimate but there's also plenty of room. The whole night was really magical!
