Trail Lake Lodge is a wedding venue located in the heart of Moose Pass, AK. This charming lodge offers couples the opportunity to celebrate their nuptials encapsulated by the breathtaking beauty of the Kenai Peninsula. Surrounded by picturesque views of the Chugach Mountains and Trail Lake, this property is an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Trail Lake Lodge was built in the late 1940s and quickly became a Peninsula landmark. Adventure-seekers, nature enthusiasts, and travel enthusiasts alike have found the property to be an idyllic oasis, surrounded by the bounty of Mother Nature. Couples are welcome to choose between a number of locations for their ceremony and reception. For a wedding set to the backdrop of the stunning mountain range, the lakeside pavilion features a large deck and dock. The manicured lawns afford an abundance of space to erect tents for a formal sit-down meal. The lodge also offers overnight accommodations for up to 20 couples in their warm and inviting guest rooms. The team at Trail Lake Lodge is proud to offer a range of services in order to best serve their cherished clients on their joyous day. Couples are welcome to host a number of gatherings at the lodge, including rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, and post-wedding brunches. A team of friendly and professional bartenders will be on hand throughout your event to serve a range of drinks from an open or limited bar. Known for their delectable in-house catering service, the venue’s culinary team is proud to offer Alaskan-style appetizers, main courses, and rustic homemade desserts. All-inclusive packages include set up and clean up services to allow couples to relax and enjoy their wedding day.

We had an after party here following our wedding. We were able to keep the bar open until 1am by booking all 6 rooms above the bar. They provided us with a nacho bar which really hit the spot after the wedding festivities. The staff is absolutely amazing. So friendly and accommodating the whole night. Jen is a wonderful person and was very easy to coordinate with. It is a beautiful place to celebrate!

This place is absolutely perfect! From start to after “I do” they are the best. We could not have asked for a better venue or crew for our Alaskan wedding! The venue, beautiful! The staff, amazing! Our every request fulfilled!! Perfect wedding in the perfect location!! Thanks again!!!

We held our ceremony and reception about 10 minutes down the road at The Inn at Tern Lake and had our after party at the Trail Lake Lodge- It couldn’t have been more perfect. It is important to note that if you want to have your after party there then the 6 rooms above the bar have to be booked by your guests because of noise, this was no problem at all and ultimately every room at the lodge was booked by our wedding guests. The lodge is the most convenient hotel accommodation to the Inn and has multiple room configurations which was really helpful. The Lodge provided such a great Alaskan experience for our guests from beginning to end. The food was amazing, it overlooks the most majestic lake, float planes come and go, they offer kayak rentals and it is situated in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula providing easy access to Seward, Cooper Landing, Kenai and beyond. Jen, JD and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we could keep the celebrations going and even customized the sign out front which was such a sweet touch! Jen coordinated a shuttle and sign up for our guests to and from the Inn to ensure safe passage on the busy Seward Highway, they served reindeer sausage per my request late night and kept the drinks flowing and the tunes going long after our designated shut down time of 1am. I grew up in Alaska but my husband and I live in San Diego now. We planned our wedding and the after party in 4 months long distance which was initially daunting. Jen was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our planning and worked within our budget- It was affordable and they exceeded every expectation the entire weekend. We could not have asked for a more friendly, authentic, welcoming and fun experience and know anyone who chooses to plan any kind of event there will feel the same way. We genuinely feel like they are friends for life and cannot wait to be back in Moose Pass to party it up at The Trail Lake Lodge!
