Trollwood Performing Arts School is a banquet hall venue located in Moorhead, Minnesota. This facility plays a key role in providing the local community with exceptional arts education, and in addition to its goal of providing education and entertainment, this facility also manages the Bluestem Center for the Arts. Both art centers offer a simply relaxing and refreshing escape. Due to its prime location in a park-like setting, Trollwood provides not only an exceptional educational experience, but also a serene site where couples can host the ceremony and reception of their dreams. Facilities and Capacity Trollwood Performing Arts School has many sites that are perfect for hosting not only the ceremony and reception, but also the bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, and wedding dances. Due to its private and peaceful setting, intimate elopements are also welcomed. Couples will find indoor, covered outdoor, and uncovered outdoor settings to choose from on the property. Due to its large size, the venue is ideal for hosting smaller sized ceremonies all the way up to larger weddings with up to 300 guests. Inside, couples will find a board room, dance studio, a living room, and more. Outside, the wedding party will get to take in the scenic views of the nearby Red River and grassy meadows. The Schlossman Pavilion is one outdoor setting option that you can choose from, which provides clear views of this river. Services Offered Depending on how long you are wanting your ceremony and reception to be, Trollwood Performing Arts School offers a variety of package options. Additionally, the venue equips couples with many of the basic items that they will need. For instance, couples are provided with many different size and shape tables and chairs, as well as items such as a Bose player, grand piano, television and DVD players, microphones, and much more. Best of all, the venue’s event coordinator will assist you as you plan and prepare for your wedding. As an Event Coordinator, Designer, and Florist, I completely enjoyed working with Kelsy & her team at TPAS...the Scheel's Living Room was a perfect location for a reception with the Gallery area ideal for food and beverages to be served. Loved working with the staff and their flexibility and willingness to collaborate. DEFINITELY a venue worth checking out in the FM area!

I am reviewing this as a wedding venue, both ceremony and reception:I recently choose to have my wedding here (on the grounds with a reception in the arts center building). It was absolutely gorgeous, everyone raved how beautiful it was. There were so many great pictures taken in and around the building. In addition, the events coordinator there was wonderful and helpful. I give them a 10 for 10, I couldn't picture my wedding anywhere else.

I loved having my wedding and reception at bluestem Trollwood. It didn't need any decorating, although I did do a little. But it was gorgeous there and the event coordinator was awesome to work with!

I wanted a venue for my wedding that wasn't the 'typical' for Fargo, ND! So, I went & visited the new Trollwood Performing Arts Studio in South Moorhead, MN & I knew it was the place!! It's like bringing the outdoors inside with stone & beautiful wood. Our wedding was absolutely wonderful!! Everyone commented on how the facility was so nice & how it was so \"us.\" Our pictures turned out wonderful - both the inside & outside shots.\rThe only thing that was frustrating is that my contact person at Trollwood changed 3 times over the year I was planning! AND they never told me when there was a person change. I ended up being able to work with the best of the 3 anyways, but it was frustrating to call one day & find out it yet had changed again! With this, small details that I had discussed got missed or confused. Overall, they were great to work with & I LOVED the venue!!!
