Tsakopoulos Library Galleria Reviews
Jennifer Larr(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-10-2019 My wedding was perfect and I need to personally thank Sandi and her team at the Library Galleria for helping make it that way. The venue itself was something out of my childhood dreams with gorgeous marble floors, expansive balconies adorned with artwork, and massive chandeliers, and when you book here you get to know you're also paying back into the public library. They have a large room for the bride and her bridal party to get ready prior to the ceremony and are extremely responsive to questions and concerns as they arise. I would easily recommend this space to anyone looking for a classy venue for their wedding. Reviewed on 23-10-2019
Kristen DeLaRosa(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-06-2013 It grew into a big wedding after we booked this grand space. Our wedding went well, and the staff were all very helpful and accommodating so I have only great things to say about it overall Reviewed on 30-07-2013
jae yi(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2011 My job took me to Shanghai, China, and I had two months to plan for the wedding from overseas. \r\rEveryone thought it would be impossible, but Sandi really made it possible. The ceremony was in a Catholic church and my wife wanted to have the reception somewhere \"nice\".\r\rAfter looking into just about all the facilities in the Greater Sacramento area and sending inquiries, Sandi was the first one to respond. I think I got the response in a matter of minutes! Other facility managers took days or WEEKS to reply \ra simple email.\r\rSandi was very attention-to-detail, prompt, and professional.\r\rThe facility looked awesome not only on pictures but also in real life. \r\rWhen I went back to the States 12 days before the wedding (I already had signed the contract and made full payment by then) and visited the sight, I was a little bit concerned about the homeless folks, but on the day of the wedding they did not pose any problems.\r\rI would recommend this place to anyone and thanks again, Sandi! Amanda Haight(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2011 The Venue was amazing. It was grand and beautiful and amazing in photos. The only issue I had was that they had a built in speaker system that they said they would show my dj how to use, but they did not. My guests in the back of the room could not hear the speeches. Also no one at the venue showed my other vendors how to turn down the lights. So my first dance was very well lit. Also they charged a 200 dollar alcohol fee that they took from my \"refundable\" deposit, But if you make sure you know how to do these things and are prepared to pay them and your caterer for alcohol, its an amazing place for a reception. Cortney Monroe(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-09-2011 My husband and I decided to have our wedding here because they gave us the ability to supply our own alcohol. That was about the only flexibility they offered. Although the venue is beautiful, the staff is very unaccommodating unless more money is offered. And even though we paid for extra staff to help move chairs, they were no where to be found the day of the wedding. The \"wedding coordinator\" they provided knew nothing about my wedding and I had never spoken to her in the 9 months I had been working with the library. She had my ceremony set up with 100 chairs when I had 150 guests coming. I had guests standing during the ceremony when the space is \"supposed to\" accommodate 175 people. My floor plan for the tables was changed the day of the wedding without me being notified. My family and wedding guests were forced to move the ceremony chairs as there was no staff provided to move them. My provided \"wedding coordinator\" did nothing to coordinate, nor did she ever speak to me the entire night. She spoke rudely to my 4 year old flower girl and told the DJ to turn off the pre-ceremony music to announce that someone left their lights on. It's downtown! That car could have been anyone's! The woman I spoke with for my floor plan assured me there would be signs for the guests to know where to walk from the parking garage to the Library entrance. There were no signs and half the guests ended up coming through the back entrance by the kitchen and walking through the reception space, which was supposed to be a surprise until after the ceremony. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service that I was promised, but not provided. Reviewed on 15-10-2011
Kelli Farber(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-08-2011 This venue is BEAUTIFUL! The price was fairly good for a TON of space (we got married on a Sunday to save also). There is a balcony available for rent that we've seen people do their cocktail hour on; we did not have enough people in attendance for it to be necessary. The bridal suite to get ready in is humongous! More than enough room for my six ladies, the mothers, grandmothers, and other women that just came in.\r\rThe woman that helped us with coordination up to the day of the event (Sandi) was outstanding. Especially when we added two tables, then took them out, then added one of them back etc... pretty close to our wedding date. However, the people that were provided the day of were COMPLETELY MIA once the festivities began. We couldn't find them when we needed help or when we needed the wireless mic that the venue said they could provide. \r\rYou will need your own speaker equipment since they only do voices through their sound system. Also, they have a stage available for the ceremony but it will cut into your dance floor since they do not remove it for the rest of the night. They also started charging for options that we had (curtains closed, stage, etc) since we had signed up so prices may be slightly different.\r\rOverall, excellent and would have been a 5 if we'd been able to find the day-of coordinator. lindsay impens(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-09-2010 I fell in love with the venue right away. Prima was very attentive, though a little difficult to get on the phone. The bridal room was huge and had a sink and mirror and a big table which was nice. I definitely felt like conference room but its size was great for set up and break down of the wedding. She even helped when champagne was spilled on the dance floor, which becomes very slippery when wet. Over all a great experience. Reviewed on 12-10-2010
