Turf Valley Resort is a wedding venue located in Ellicott City, MD. Just 50 minutes outside of Washington, D.C., this property is nestled in the Baltimore-Washington Corridor. With 1,000 acres to call its own, the venue offers a resort setting that’s ideal for tranquil, memorable special occasions. Turf Valley Resort consists of several event spaces and an array of scenic sites where to-be-weds can celebrate their milestone moments. Tucked away from the city, this oasis-like property encourages couples to exchange vows in the open air. You are welcome to do so in the outdoor Garden event space. Here, you can say “I do” with up to 240 guests present under a romantically decorated pergola. The adjacent fountain and graceful swans only add to the fairytale-like atmosphere. After your one-of-a-kind ceremony, you can venture inside to create more long-lasting memories with guests. The elegant, bright interior features a number of banquet halls such as the Waterford, the Terrace, the Cameo, and the Wedgewood. Each showcases a unique ambience that can be adjusted to align with your unique vision. Another indoor option, the Grand Ballroom, can fit up to 600 people and features shimmering crystal chandeliers as well as a private get-ready suite. For support leading up to and on your special day, the staff at Turf Valley Resort offers a number of helpful services. Their experienced wedding professionals are happy to assist with any aspect of your event. A number of cohesive packages are available to streamline your planning experience. The in-house culinary team can prepare delicious dishes for you and your guests to remember for years to come. During your cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres such as sesame chicken satay, Maui shrimp spring rolls, and cherry blossom tarts can be served. For the main meal, mouth-watering entrées including Cajun-crusted salmon, roasted beef tips, and portobello ravioli are available. Depending on your preferences, buffet and plated options can be provided as well as sweet treats for the meal’s conclusion. Bar services inclusive of beers, wines, liquors, and specialty drinks will also be supplied.

We used Turf Valley as our venue for our ceremony and reception. The place was wonderfully decorated for our big event. There were plenty of places to take wonderful photos. Our Maître was Latisha Davidson. She did a fantastic job ensuring the bride and groom were cared for. Jenny and Jill did a wonderful job keeping me informed about any information I needed to fill out. Everyone enjoyed the meal that was provided.

The people at Turf Valley were incredible and people are still telling me it was the best steak they have ever had. Even after 3 toasts the food was delivered hot and delicious. I met with Jennie and Joanna multiple times. They were amazing to work with and the day of manager Chris kept everything flawless. We did it without a full fledged wedding coordinator. My friends were so helpful.

We had a beautiful summer wedding at Turf Valley! TV is an excellent all inclusive venue with great food and a wonderful staff. The garden is the perfect outdoor ceremony space with several options for indoor ballrooms for the reception. Our guest enjoyed the wedding as well as the spa, golf, the pool, and Alexandra's restaurant. Jenny B. was great to work with and made our wedding planning experience as easy as she could!

Turf Valley surpassed all of our expectations and was above and beyond! If we could do it all over again, we would do it exactly the same. Jenny B. was the catering director who coordinated everything for us the entire process. She is beyond fantastic. She answered my millions of emails and questions, she always had an answer to my questions, she always answered very quickly, she is just so reliable, patient, knowledgeable. You can tell she’s done a million weddings because she just knows everything. This helped make us feel SO calm while wedding planning because she, and everyone working there, is very trustworthy and professional. Our maitre D on the day of, was Gloria F. She was also amazing!!! She also had an answer to all our questions, she was extremely on top of things, she set up everything and broke it all down afterwards, made everything run smoothly. She even made sure we had drinks and food! She was above and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about Jenny and Gloria, as well as the whole staff there. They are all very very willing to help and give you a great experience - which they did. Even during the reception, they must have had two dozen servers because they were so incredibly quick and efficient bringing out the food like a well-oiled machine, they were very accommodating and helpful. The venue itself was fantastic. Every single thing we ate - from the wedding dinner to the cocktail hour apps to the breakfast and lunches we ate at the restaurant all weekend - was exceptional. All our guests said this, and continue to tell us a month later. It was so awesome having our venue here because the hotel and after party and reception were all at the same place. I feel like that really made our wedding weekend. After the wedding, we all went to the hotel bar, the bartenders were great as well. We had 180 guests and there was enough room for everyone. It was great seeing all our friends and family Sunday morning having breakfast, and Friday night after our rehearsal, in the same place. The groomsmen and some of our guests even went golfing the Friday before, and they said the course is really awesome so that was very fun. We were in the Cameo ballroom and it was just absolutely perfect - perfect size, big dancefloor, patio overlooking the golf course.By the way, all the vendors we booked were from Turf Valley’s preferred vendors, and they were all awesome as well.Lastly, there were so many other events going on at the same exact time as ours. A staff member told us this was one of their busiest weekends and all the hotel rooms and all the event rooms were completely booked, including the one right next door to us. That did not impact us at all - didn’t even notice that was the case. I am just so incredibly happy that everything went so smoothly and so great and that we chose this venue.

I can't recommend this venue enough!! Jaime was our contact and she was wonderful. She answered all of our million questions and was also so nice and responsive. Getting to the venue - seriously, it's perfect. For starters, literally everything you need is there. The hotel, the bar, restaurant ... EVERYTHING. The minute you check in you do not need to leave until the weekend is over with. The drinks and food were absolutely delicious. Our guests kept saying how great the food was and how well the bartenders were. Okay now the views - really really breathtaking. The ceremony is in the perfect location so you will have photos during the golden hour. The venue itself is gorgeous, you will not have any bad photos. Our maitre d was also wonderful!! She made sure everything was perfect and really made sure my husband and I had a great evening. She even snuck us off so we can actually enjoy a few minutes together and eat some of the apps. At the end of the night she also packed all our stuff up and even packed up a to go plate for us so we can enjoy our dinner. Money wise, this was the most cost efficient venue too. Out of all the places we looked, this one was the best price and offered everything. Having the food and drinks there was such a stress relief, we didn't have to worry about outsourcing. And the food and drinks were great so it's not like what was offered was bad. Another thing, there is a bar on site at the resort so when your wedding is over with you can keep the party going without worrying about getting an uber somewhere or your guests driving. I really cannot recommend this place enough as a venue option. Truly nothing I would change, everyone was so accommodating and nice and just really made my husband and I's day that much more special and stress free.

We just got married here and I can’t recommend it enough. Great location, beautiful outside garden ceremonial site and inside area, plenty of parking, beautiful view. It was my dream venue and I’m in love with it. Carol, the catering and event managwr, is absolutely incredible and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they recommend to you. I cannot thank Turf Valley enough for making our special day absolutely perfect!!

My husband and I got married on 9/4/22 at Turf Valley. We cannot say enough good things about how happy we are that we chose Turf Valley as our venue!! Carol-our sales manager-was there every step of the way and answered any questions we had. Our Mai'tre D, Chris, was super sweet and we felt so taken care of the day of our wedding. People raved about how beautiful the venue was and we absolutely loved it. From the appetizers to the main dishes to the sorbet, all of our guests loved the food. The bartenders were amazing, and all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating to us, and to all of our guests. Our ballroom was set up almost completely how we wanted it the night prior to the wedding because the staff work so hard to make your dream a reality. If you are not sure where to have your wedding, choose Turf Valley!!

We had a FANTASTIC wedding reception at Turf Valley. The resort is excellent, and the staff are the friendliest and most helpful people you can ever ask for.We can’t say enough good things about our sales & catering executive Carol Sirchio. Carol worked with us for over 10 months to plan & coordinate our wedding reception, covering every possible detail and scenario to make us feel totally prepared for the big day. Carol went above & beyond what anyone could expect in terms of helping us with the wedding - she responded to all of our emails almost immediately and proactively made suggestions for best practices and how to manage costs. Her positive attitude made a typically stressful process such a breeze for us.The resort itself is also excellent - our hotel room was clean & spacious, and the grounds are also scenic and elegant. The gazebo area and the fountain are great for pictures.We held our reception in the Waterford Ballroom (with about 120 people). There is a large multi-floor cocktail hour area in addition to a good-sized ballroom as well as a wedding party suite attached to the cocktail area. Our guests had plenty of room to walk around, mingle, and stretch out.The food was also great. Carol’s team organized a tasting event several months before the wedding where we could sample numerous appetizers, entrees, and drinks. This event was a party in itself! We wound up selecting the buffet option, and our guests particularly loved the crab-stuffed salmon entree. There is also an option for a custom cocktail at the bar, which was a lot of fun.Furthermore - we held an after party at the hotel bar (Fairway Lounge). It was so convenient, especially with guests staying in the hotel, that 70-80% of our guests stopped by, and we had a blast celebrating for several more hours.And the whole Turf valley team was fantastic - from Carol’s team to the maitre’d and the bartenders - so many of our guests went out of their way to praise the Turf Valley staff for friendly and helpful interactions.Turf Valley is truly a venue that puts an emphasis on people. We are tremendously lucky that we stumbled upon this venue, and we’ll look back upon our wedding there very fondly for many years to come!

We worked with Jenny as our Catering Director and Latisha as our Maitre D. Both of these women were so helpful and I am so glad they were there for it. The entire night went by so smoothly, we could not have asked for anything more.

We chose Turf Valley because it was a convenient location (close to where we live as well as the airport), the beautiful ceremony location under the willow trees, and the fact that everything was all in one spot! It was great having our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and hotel room all on the same property, and I loved that the venue included catering, bar package, etc.The ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful, and everything I had envisioned was brought to life. Our coordinator, Jaime, was so helpful throughout the process. I never felt stressed leading up to the day, and she helped me put together a super specific timeline. She thought of everything!We also got the help of a Maitre D the day of. We worked with Latisha and she did an amazing job making sure everything was perfect! She helped everything flow seamlessly. She also pulled us aside after the ceremony for some private time where we got to enjoy all of our appetizers, spend some time together as a couple, and use the restroom before greeting all of our guests!Overall, I would not change a single thing! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect.

From the beginning of our planning to finalizing all the details, she was phenomenal. She was so very helpful and her professionalism was outstanding. Right up until the wedding, our experience with Jaime, her Turf Valley staff and everyone involved at Turf Valley was excellent. Way to Go Turf Valley. Wonderful venue for a wedding and you must ask for Jaime in order to get superior service for your event or wedding day!

We are happy that we chose Turf Valley as our wedding venue. We loved having everything on-site, including accommodations. We did run into a surprise regarding the hotel being sold out about 5 months prior to our event, but eventually were able to claim enough rooms to house our guests (this did add a little stress - make sure to make you room block big enough early on!). We loved the garden and planned to have our ceremony there, but the weather had other plans. Turf Valley ended up working with us to accommodate our large guest count into a different indoor space which made it much more spacious and pleasant for the ceremony. Jenny B was very helpful, responsive, and calm in the planning process. Our on-site/day-of coordinator, Latisha, was amazing and went above and beyond for us several times on the day before and day-of (even with a busy Mother's Day immediately after). We were very pleased with the food and got compliments from several of our guests about it. We also had our rehearsal dinner and a welcome reception on-site (via Alexandra's) which was convenient and easy to plan with Shannon. The location of Turf Valley is convenient and the grounds are pretty. The hotel was comfortable and clean for our two night stay. The staff who helped us on the day/night of the wedding were friendly and professional. I am sure that I am missing something, but we were happy with our experience there. They did a fantastic job and they exceeded expectations. We would recommend considering Turf Valley - especially if you want the option to have everything on-site.

After three years of planning, our daughter's wedding reception was finally held in November 2021 at Turf Valley. Jaime, our consultant, was a pleasure to work with. She was so patient with us as we made quite a few changes due to rescheduling the date twice due to COVID. The banquet room was set up just as we had planned, and the food was delicious. Lorraine, the bar tender, and the rest of the staff were excellent. The reception was a delight and many of our guests complimented on how much they enjoyed the evening. Some of our guests stayed overnight and for breakfast in the morning. The hotel rooms were lovely, and the food and service for breakfast were both outstanding. Everyone went home happy! Thank you for helping us to create a wonderful event for our family and friends.

I do not have a SINGLE regret after our wedding at Turf Valley last weekend. We had Jaime as our coordinator and she was incredible. The communication was fantastic leading up to the day, she was extremely understanding and patient when we had to make the difficult decision to postpone due to covid, and she gave her helpful honest opinion when we asked for it. My friends have been raving about the food, the hotel, and overall experience since the night ended. My aunt was our florist and she commented on how kindly everyone treated her, which she said is not common and a lot of venues are rude to vendors. Here’s part of my dad’s email afterwards in case you’re not already convinced: “Literally every single resort team member that we interacted with was top notch! James, Carolin and Nika at the front desk were so accommodating for all of our and our guests' needs. Gail our server, multiple times, in Alexandra's is a rock star with great customer focus and a wonderful personality. Paul knocked it out of the park as our maitre d and wedding day go to resource. He is a master of customer service and a genuinely nice man. Gloria and her banquet staff were great and super accommodating. Each and every housekeeping staff member that assisted us throughout the weekend was so helpful and kind. It is more than evident that Turf Valley Resort clearly knows how to hire, mentor and build a guest centric team!” 10/10 experience.

I do not have enough have enough good things to say about Turf Valley! After touring multiple venues, we scheduled a tour for Turf Valley and knew instantly that was where we would be married. Jaime (Sales) was an absolutely pleasure to work with from beginning to end. She was extremely responsive and always so helpful and kind. We loved the convenience of everything being in one place (ceremony, reception, hotel, and rehearsal dinner). Our wedding day was so perfect - all the staff were amazing and as was the food and drinks! I wish I could do that day over and over again. Highly recommend!!

Turf Valley was everything and more we could have asked for. Our catering manager, Jaime, made the whole process an amazing experience! She was so communicative and completely transparent with us. She helped us weigh pros and cons and used her expertise to help us make sure we were making the best decisions possible for us. This was especially helpful over the past year while we planned during COVID and we didn’t know what things would look like. Jaime helped us to edit our contract given the restrictions and find an option that both TV and we were comfortable with. What I loved most about Jaime is her willingness to pick up the phone and call rather than responding via email. It helped to make sure we were truly on the same page rather than assuming everything got relayed effectively via email. That really showed me her desire to go above and beyond for us and to make our day as perfect as she possibly could. I could rave about her for days. But, also worth noting is the quality of the resort. The garden is gorgeous and perfect for an outdoor ceremony! Our banquet manager, Chris, was also phenomenal and ensured the entire evening went without hiccups. The food was incredible and the vendors all worked so well together to make for a seamless evening. TV was extremely accommodating with where we could store decor before and after the event. They really did everything to make our day as seamless as possible. We also loved the fact we could have our guests stay on site and have Alexandra’s right on site as well for dining and rehearsal dinner needs. They really have everything in one place which made our lives so much easier! We can’t say enough good things about TV, Jaime, Chris and the rest of the team and highly recommend booking with them.

My wedding was originally scheduled for May but had to reschedule to October. It was hard to feel excited in such an uncertain time but Jaimie helped me through everything! She planned with me, cried with me, helped me stay positive and hopeful. She gave me her honest opinion from an experience standpoint but also a personal one which made me so confident. The day finally came and I wasn’t stressed at all. Chris, my maitre D, made sure everything day off went smooth. He worked with the Dj to really make sure my day flowed. In between hosting, he somehow personally made sure my husband and I were taken care of. He reminded us to take moments while making sure we were fed and hydrated. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Of course it goes without saying, the room that night was a dream. I Had a suite for my girls to get ready and it never felt crowded or too cramped. I had all the amenities I needed. 11/10 would get married here again.

We toured several venues throughout the Baltimore area before deciding that Turf Valley Resort was the perfect place for us! The convenience of having the ceremony, reception, and hotel all at the same place (as well as free parking) can not be matched! Not only does the Garden ceremony look like a dream in pictures, but the hotel rooms are also exquisite and extremely clean during COVID. Jaime Petit (Sales) and Chris Goodwin (Event Coordinator/Maitre D) went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. Jaime was very considerate during COVID and due to social distancing guidelines upgraded our reception room free of cost to accomodate for the large number of guests we had attending - which was 80. She was a pleasure to work with and really made everything incredibly easy. She also waived our attrition rate of our room blocks during COVID due to some family not being able to attend from out of the country. Chris was a LIFESAVER. We had a last minute seating chart problem Friday before our wedding on Saturday. Chris and the marketing team at TVR were able to put together a beautiful seating chart for us at the drop of a hat! We could not have been more grateful to work with such an amazing team! The grounds, restaurant and overall ambiance speak for themselves, but the staff just pushes this place over the top! We will recommend this venue to any and every couple we meet!

We had our daughter's wedding reception at the Turf Valley Hotel in the Waterford Ballroom on Saturday, October 19th 2019!! The ceremony was outside in their beautiful Garden. We couldn't have been more pleased. We even had a rainbow above us as we were walking down the isle!! Our sales associate, Jaime Petit was fabulous and so was our Maitre'D Latisha Johnson. We hosted a breakfast for our hotel guests and it was so lovely, thanks to Victoria and the entire staff!!! The rehearsal dinner was at the Terrace on the Green and that was wonderful, too!! So happy!!

Jenny,Our daughter's wedding was one of our greatest days ever! It was Heavenly, awesome, out of this world… I just can't describe accurately in words how wonderful and joyful the celebration was from beginning to end! The bride and groom had a permanent, genuine smiles on their faces all day!Turf Valley did a fabulous job in all areas of the serving and smooth moves all around! The staff people were kind and friendly and absolutely great servers. One dear gentleman server kept saying \"it's my honor!\" Thank YOU so much for all your hard work, your calmness, your patience with our many emails, your complete professionalism, and your wisdom in your suggestions.At the end of the day, the greatest reward was when my daughter said it was all she wanted it to be!!

I would get married all over again at Turf Valley! Turf Valley was the perfect wedding venue for us! They are so organized and made it so easy for us! The outside garden was just beautiful with so many flowers! They picked me up with my parents in a golf cart limo so that I didn't have to walk very far to get down the aisle in my heels. Our reception was in the cameo ballroom and was so lovely! The food was so delicious (they even have delicious vegetarian options) that I am still getting compliments from my friends and family. The staff couldn't have been nicer! Jamie was my wedding coordinator and was AMAZING (try to request her if you can)! And Chris was my wedding coordinator (maitre d') during the day of my wedding and was so great that he even stopped by our rehearsal dinner to check in with us to make sure all of our last minute questions were answered. They even plated mine and my now husband's food for us ahead of time so that we could ACTUALLY EAT! All of our friends are still telling us that we had the best wedding! If you are looking for a beautiful venue with delicious food, then look no further than Turf Valley.

Our Catering Account Executive, Jaime, was absolutely wonderful to work with! Jaime was extremely patient while working with us and thoroughly answered all of our questions in a timely manner. She also provided us with several honest recommendations, but ultimately let us make the final decision. Our Maître D', Chris, was very helpful and made sure everything was setup perfectly! Chris communicated with my mom the night before the wedding, and ensured we had everything we needed at the beginning of the reception. He also attended to us throughout the evening and made sure everything went smoothly. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and the food tasted amazing! We would highly recommend Jaime and Chris, along with the entire team at Turf Valley Resort, to anyone!

Overall, Turf Valley is an incredible venue. Throughout the wedding planning process, we worked with Carol. She was amazing..she answered every question I had quickly and clearly. We had the ceremony in the garden and the weather was perfect. They have a back up plan if you have bad weather. I highly suggest hiring a wedding planner, Turf Valley only comes with a day of coordinator. The food was great, we did the buffet option. It is definitely an expensive venue, but the quality of service and venue match the price. Our reception was in the Waterford Ballroom, which is the only ballroom that is separated from the others. It was the best day ever and I'm so happy we chose Turf Valley!

When my husband and I first got engaged, one of the first places we visited was Turf Valley. After about 5 minutes, we were sold! The views, the ballrooms, the garden..it had everything we ever wanted and more! Then we met Jaime who really sealed the deal! We had our wedding reception at Turf Valley in September 2018 and everything went perfectly! Leading up to the big day, we worked with Carol and she was so helpful! She always answered all of our emails and questions in a timely manner and always provided answers to everything we needed. She also met with us several times throughout the year to make sure everything was on track. We live out of state so it was especially helpful that she was so responsive via email. Latisha was our Maître D on our wedding day and she so nice and helpful and made sure everything was setup perfectly. She made sure we were always attended to throughout the night. There were 3 or 4 weddings at Turf Valley the same night as ours but they made sure to stagger start times and once our cocktail hour started we didn’t ever really see people from the other weddings. Even with other weddings going on we had no trouble getting photos outside around the resort. We highly recommend Carol and the whole team at Turf Valley and we are so happy with how everything turned out!

My husband (!) and I held our reception this past weekend at Turf Valley Resort and Spa. Jenny was our contact throughout the planning. she was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. She gave us great advice and always responded quickly to emails. Our reception couldn't have gone any better. We held it in the cameo ballroom. Guest were able to use the patio and enjoy the view of the golf course. Latisha, our maitre de, was wonderful. She took care of my husband and me, as well as making sure our parents had food and drinks the whole night. The food was very good and service was quick and we'll organized. At the end of the night, they packed everything up for us and had it delivered to our room. They even wrapped up extra plates for us to make sure we had enough to eat! It was an amazing night and higly recommend Turf Valley Resort and Spa.

Turf Valley is amazing! We had our wedding in the waterford ball room. All of my guests raved about the food! Definitely pay the extra money for the crab cakes. Our sales manager Carol was professional and very quick to respond. Chris, our maitre D, took care of everything day of. The place looked just how I wanted. The staff was amazing as well. If you want a stress free venue for your wedding I highly recommend Turf Valley. My only suggestion is that you block off enough hotel rooms for your party because they sell out very quick.

Turf Valley was an amazing venue! The staff was incredible and working with Jenny made planning my wedding a breeze. We got married the day Ellicott City flooded and the team at Turf was amazing in moving things along seamlessly. My one critique is with the hotel: I stayed in the hotel room with my bridesmaids the night before the wedding because check-in is at 4pm and I needed to start getting ready much earlier than that. I wanted the housekeeping staff to turnover the room before the wedding night (fresh towels, fresh sheets, etc) and since we were in there getting ready, they said they would come back an hour later. They never came back and by the time we were back in our room it was 3am and just realized nothing had been cleaned. Overall, AMAZING experience with the event staff but just had an issue with the hotel.

We spent an eternity looking for the right venue in the Baltimore area. After meeting Jamie Petit, we knew we had the right place. The venue is gorgeous inside and out, and while it's close to Ellicott City if you need anything, it feels peaceful and far removed. Jamie was beyond helpful, and always easy to reach. She kept things moving along, and reminded us for all the planning we had to do! Leading up to the big day, Jamie always asked if there was anything she could do for us. Paul was our maitre-d, and he was phenomenal the day of the wedding. We had planned to get married outside, but ended up getting rained out at the last minute. The crew at Turf Valley, especially Paul, made sure to help our guests move inside and had a backup room prepared for us without being asked. While taking pictures in the drizzle, Paul even brought us umbrellas (which made for some wonderful pictures!). Weddings are always stressful, but Turf Valley made everything perfect. Would recommend TVR to everyone!

We had our reception at Turf Valley Resort in the cameo room. It was absolutely perfect. Literally our day of coordinator-Paul Kelsey had everything set up just as I would have imagined it. Jenny worked with us throughout the entire year and was very responsive and had everything set up the way we wanted it. They literally do everything- from setting up to having the cake made for you. If you want a worry free wedding day you need to have your reception at Turf Valley. I had zero stress the day of my wedding and our pictures turned out absolutely beautiful thanks to the views of the golf course. Definitely recommend!

My daughter's Wedding Reception was recently held at Turf Valley Resort. We were fortunate to find an event planner, Jamie Petit, who not only worked closely with us through the planning process, but gave us solid and great advise, which made my daughters reception magical and memorable!The Cameo Room looked elegant and romantic and Latisha our Maitre D and her staff went to great lengths to provide us professional, pleasant and timely service. From Cocktail Hour through the reception, a 6 hour event, the appetizers, drinks and main course were plentiful, hot and delicious with the Signature Drinks being refreshing. Jaime Petit, our Event Planner did a phenomenal job by giving us a list of vendors from florist, to DJ to lightening and drapery which made the planning process easier. The vendors along with Turf Valley Staff transformed this reception room into a beautiful, elegant and welcoming space.Jamie and her Director were very accommodating when I requested to have permission to have a Pizza Food Truck to end the evening with a delicious send off.Almost a month later, we still have guests raving about the delicious food and beautiful setting.We had approximately 45-50 guests and family use the hotel accomodations. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Having guests and family having access to the hotel was another wonderful feature for having the reception at Turf Valley.Words are never enough to thank Turf Valley and all of their wonderful staff for giving us such special memories that we will cherish for a lifetime!Lori

The wedding was perfect. Really. We enjoyed our rehearsal dinner at Alexandra's Restaurant (Victoria Mangione worked with us here) and the food and service were absolutely the best. Our reception was held in the Cameo Ballroom and we had the Emerald Reception Package. The food and drinks were all delicious. Jaime Pette and her exceptional staff worked every little detail to accommodate our wedding day reception from helping us with the set up our large Italian cookie table and Cigar Bar to packing everything up for us to take home at the end of the evening. Jaime helped us organize everything with planners and checklists so nothing was forgotten. Jaime felt like a family member. We had a breakfast the next morning for all of our guests staying at the hotel (80). Jaime and Victoria arranged for us to have the breakfast buffet in the Tiffany Room for our guests. Their team moved our floral centerpieces to the room for the next morning and it looked just beautiful. Jaime and Victoria took care of us and for that we will always be grateful. When you are at Turf Valley Resort, you are family. We highly recommend Jaime and her team at Turf Valley for your wedding reception. Because of the professionalism and personal touch from Jaime and her team, it was a perfect weekend.

Everyone did an amazing job and made this the best wedding ever, we couldn't have been happier and we're definitely going to look forward to our anniversary stay here. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. My fiance and I specifically picked Turf Valley because it was a one stop shop for everything. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Alexandra's and Victoria made planning everything a breeze - she even stopped by the dinner to introduce herself and she popped in frequently to assure everything was going smoothly. Everyone raved about the food - we hosted a casual BBQ style rehearsal dinner and the wait staff was very professional and accommodating. We had about 25 rooms booked for the night of our wedding and everyone loved the fact that they did not have to travel between the ceremony to the reception. Jaime Petit was our Catering Account Executive and she was an absolute DREAM to work with. We worked together for about a full year and she was always so responsive and answered all of my questions/concerns so thoroughly. She made planning the ceremony and reception so easy and stress-free. She even made a point to stop by to see me prior to the ceremony which I thought was such a sweet and personal touch. Our ceremony took place in the garden which is BEAUTIFUL, however, it did rain and we had to move it indoors. I must say that Turf Valley was extremely accommodating on this - I really wanted an outdoor wedding and they allowed me to wait out a few showers, and even at the last minute escorted all my guests inside to the ballroom for an indoor ceremony. Although it wasn't my ideal scenario they allowed me the time to wait it out which I really appreciate it. Everyone LOVED the cocktail and reception food and the cake by Debi's Cake Studio was delicious. Our pictures are stunning with the willow trees and golf course scenery in the background. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Turf Valley to all of my future brides! The food was amazing, and all of the staff especially Jaime and Victoria who made our wedding weekend one to truly remember!

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with our experience at Turf Valley and celebrating our wedding in October. I grew up going to Turf Valley and never realized how absolutely stunning the grounds are, especially during this time of year. It was a pleasure working with Jaime Petit and staff- they went above and beyond accommodating us and how we pictured our special day! We received such positive feedback from all of our guests at the convenience of the location- locals or anyone from out of town were able to arrive a couple days early, play golf, go to the spa and relax throughout the weekend. With everyone being on-site and in one place, it made it an overall fun weekend for all of our guests. Thank you to Jaime and the staff at Turf Valley for everything!!

We were so happy with our experience at Turf Valley. We loved working with Jaime and were happy with how accommodating Turf Valley was for the several events we held there all weekend. Jaime had an incredible amount of patience with all of the questions and my mom and I bombarded her with. It was nice that our guests could enjoy a variety of activities (golf, pool) before the wedding, that everyone could stay at the venue, and that we could hold all of our events at one location but in different rooms to give a different feel. Paul was our maitre d for our event on Friday evening and all day Saturday and he was phenomenal. Everything ran smoothly and everyone had a great time. We definitely recommend working with Turf Valley for your wedding, especially with Jaime and Paul!

She responded quickly to emails and took meetings to answer stupid questions and made you feel like she really knew what was going on for your day. On the day, there was not one single issue with anything. And if there was, I didn't know about it. The place was beautiful. Even though it rained in the ceremony space, they moved it inside without a hitch and it was absolutely beautiful. I could not recommend them more!

My husband and I were extremely impressed and happy with using Turf Valley as our wedding reception venue. Turf Valley was a beautiful venue, and we absolutely loved working with our two coordinators, Carol Sirchio (pre-planning) and Chris Goodwin (onsite coordinator). Both staff worked extremely hard in planning, and coordinated our wedding smoothly and with genuine care and kindness. We are truly blessed that they were able to share our special day with us and all of our family / friends! All of us (family and friends) were highly impressed with the amount of genuine thought and effort they both put forth in planning and coordinating our wedding, as well as their kind and fun personalities. Carol was extremely communicative and flexible around our schedules during the pre-wedding planning stages and coordinated our wedding menu tasting, and Chris was extremely efficient and thoughtful in every effort made toward making our wedding day special and run smoothly. On the day of, Chris made sure all of our food was taken out efficiently and accurately, including accounting for all food allergies we had from our guests. In addition, he made sure guests were in good hands from start to finish. Chris also was extremely attentive to the bridal party, and in making sure we were able to get food during all the photography. We loved our bridal suite set up, it was clean, and fully stocked with fresh hors d'oeuvres and drinks that everyone thought was delicious! We will definitely recommend Turf Valley and our two coordinators to anyone in search of a wedding reception venue. Chris and Carol both went above and beyond their responsibilities, making my husband and I's special day fun and memorable for us and all of our guests! Loved the fact that I got a discount for my guests by setting up a block of rooms ahead of time. I even got a discount for myself on an amazing king jacuzzi suite. The suites are absolutely perfect for getting ready in on wedding day. I had 8 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls and one suite was plenty of room for us to get ready! Trish was a great help with coordinating rooms for my guests and making sure they were all reserved under my group discount. No complaints!

We had an amazing time at Turf Valley. From when we started planning, Jenny was always responsive and helpful as we navigated the initial process. We picked Turf Valley because we wanted a one-stop-shop type place, and working with Jenny helped make the whole process easier! We love that Turf Valley has on site catering and an onsite hotel, so we didn’t have to worry about shuttling our guests to and from venues. They also include the price of the cake in the per person food cost. \rWe had our ceremony and reception at Turf Valley. The ceremony went really smoothly, and there was a gorgeous area where we took pictures during cocktail hour. The outside area was so beautiful! Our guests definitely commented on the scenery- we had a nice view of the fountain. \rThe food was really good too. We were able to taste test several popular options, and we even gave feedback on the food at the taste test so the menu was customized to our needs for our wedding. Turf Valley gives a certain number of special meals included in the budget, which was great as we had a few guests who needed gluten free and vegetarian options. Our maître d’ was amazing and made sure that we had food and drinks throughout the night! We definitely felt taken care of by Turf Valley and would highly recommend this venue for busy people who want help with planning. \r

We loved, loved, loved Turf Valley and our coordinator Jamie Petit. We had our wedding at Turf Valley on Friday, July 17, 2015. The outdoor wedding venue was so beautiful and the grounds were very well kept. The Waterford Ballroom is a wonderful space. Jamie was a pleasure to work with and helped with all our requests in order to make our wedding special, with our personal touches. Jamie quickly responded to numerous emails through the planning process and was very helpful with suggestions. The food was also amazing and everyone we talked to, were extremely pleased. My step daughter recently had her ceremony and reception at Turf Valley Country Club. Our experience from beginning to end was fantastic. We could not have asked for any better service. Every detail we asked to have done was completed perfectly. The ceremony area and Waterford Ballroom was just beautiful. The Maître ‘D for the reception was one of the best. The hotel service and front desk was also great. Everything went perfectly and we were pleasantly surprised to also have such great food! I used to coordinate weddings and I will have to say this one was the best I’ve ever been involved in and many thanks goes to the venue and the staff at Turf Valley.\r

Our reception at Turf Valley was simply amazing and perfect in every way. Jenny B was amazing to work with and made everything so easy. She was very flexible and accommodating to all of our needs. We loved that we could drop off all of our wedding stuff two weeks before in our locker so we didn't have to think about a single thing the day of the wedding or week leading up to it as well. They set up everything perfectly and the Waterford room is so beautiful. They made my wedding dream come to life. The grounds of the venue are also stunning for pictures. We met our Maitre-D Jen and she was awesome. She was very professional, helpful, and friendly. All of our vendors worked smoothly together. The food and cake were amazing. Our guests couldn't get enough of the crab cakes. We stayed at the hotel that night as well as our guests. Everyone enjoyed the bar after the wedding as well as the fire pits outside. It made for a great place to continue the party. The rooms were nice and we had special goodies waiting for us in our room. I wouldn't change a thing and want to relive our wedding again and again.

Although the weather was not perfect, everything pretty much went off without a hitch. The only complaint is that front desk customer service is poor. Several of my guests complained that they were treated poorly. My maitre d disappeared the second half of the night. But all in all, that night was perfect and they did work with me on alot of things I wanted. \r\rThe following day when we were picking up all the center pieces, the roof collapsed on my brother in law and no one even cared. \r\rJamie petit and Heather England were awesome to work with. These ladies were more than helpful throughout the whole process! Thank you girls!

Having my wedding reception at Turf Valley was the perfect choice. They are conveniently also a hotel so guests can stay the night and not drink and drive which was a huge selling point for me. Included in the package was a complimentary night in the executive suite with a king bed for the bride and groom. My reception was in the Waterford room which doesn't have a banquet hall feel-it has dark wood paneling, dark wood chairs (with padding of course), big windows with a view of the fountain and fits 250 people-it was cozy which is what I wanted for my winter wedding. The staff is very helpful from before I booked with them to the morning after when they gave me 2pm checkout so I could have brunch with my guests. You get a maitre'd for the night, ours was Latisha and she was amazing. She was so attentive without being too much and it was great having her there for any questions I had. They handled the gifts and packed them in my parents car, they packed up my table cloths and glass cylinders (part of my centerpieces) for free and put them in my parents car. All the servers were friendly, the food was delicious-I got a lot of compliments on that-I recommend the brie and raspberry pastry as part of cocktail hour, it was a hit. So many of my guests told me it was the best wedding they've ever been to. They've been doing this for decades so they have everything down to a tee. The cake is included in the contract, it was delicious-even my husband liked it and he's not a dessert person. They use an outside baker and she said she loves working with them and has been for years which I think speaks volumes. This is a great little gem that is a perfect alternative to going somewhere in Baltimore or DC which would automatically be super expensive being in a city. Turf Valley was the perfect choice, I'm so glad I had my reception there.

I highly recommend Turf Valley. We just had our wedding and reception there, and I can not believe how perfectly everything went. My contact there, Carol, was phenomenal. Quick to respond to emails, made me feel very relaxed about the process, and extremely flexible. Our Maitre D' the day of was also absolutely phenomenal. Extremely professional, and helped ensure our day ran perfectly smoothly while remaining discreet. The outdoor ceremony site was beautiful. Our reception was in the Waterford Ballroom. The food was amazing, the decor was amazing, it was perfect! We have gotten SO many compliments from our guests about the venue. I am completely satisfied, and would highly recommend Turf Valley to anyone looking for a perfect, smooth wedding with warm and inviting yet highly professional staff.

We had our wedding at Turf Valley and it was amazing. We chose TV because we had most of our guests coming from out of town and wanted everything in one place. The staff at Turf Valley are amazing! Throughout the entire weekend, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. In regards to our wedding, our wedding planner, Jaime, was outstanding. During the planning process she was always available to answer any questions and always had an answer. She made planning the wedding fun and easy! She took care of everything and I had no stress! The wedding weekend turned out perfectly. Jaime helped us set up a great welcome BBQ on the patio and lots of our guest enjoyed golf, got a facial at the spa, and sitting by the pool. I was recently married (6/8/13) and I had my reception at Turf Valley in the Waterford Ballroom. I couldn't have asked for a better day or better people to help me to plan and enjoy our special day. My coordinator, Jaime Petit, was the best! I had to plan my wedding from out of state and I would NOT have been able to do it without her help. Turf Valley was very accommodating to my needs and helped make the planning process a little less stressful for me. \r\rIt is definitely a one-stop-shop. The only things I had to plan outside of Turf Valley were the flowers, the DJ and the photographer - everything else was included!! This was super convenient for me since I was out of state and I didn't have to handle so many different vendors. And they have a list of trusted vendors that they recommend so this made shopping super easy. \r\rThe venue is gorgeous! The views from the waterford ballroom and lobby are great and the colors are neutral so they matched my blue and white wedding theme perfectly. It was also convenient that they have the hotel so my guests had a place to stay after the reception. \r\rOf course, this was not the cheapest option I had, but I just could not pass up the value. You definitely get what you pay for!! Great food, great people, great location! Loved it! Thank you so much for my beautiful day! We had a blast!!!!

The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. And their outside area is breathtaking! Every couple is assigned a planner that is there the day of to make sure everything goes as planned! \r\r(Our cost was expensive but we had 200+ guest!)

Great time in the end but we planned a wedding for 150 guests many of which were going to be staying at the hotel and we were told not to reserve a block however, they ran out of rooms so 8 weeks before the wedding we had to find another hotel and pay for a shuttle for all of our guests with no assistance from Turf Valley.

Everyone we worked with at turf valley was wonderful! They take care of everything and make you feel so relaxed and give you a free room for the night of your wedding and a free room on your 1st year anniversary! Awesome place for a wedding! Pictures are beautiful!

I really loved Turf Valley, it was my dream wedding venue. Unfortunately there was no power on the day of my wedding so it was really hot in the ballroom but the staff was great and even gave us a discount for having no AC or power. The food was delicious and it was overall really great. I especially liked working with Mary Wilson to coordinate the day with Turf Valley, she was great. I do think they could have communicated a little better on the day of the wedding with the power outages and all that but it turned out ok. I'd definitely recommend Turf Valley to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with very accommodating staff.

My wedding reception at turf valley was wonderful! Everything was taken care of. I like the fact that everything (including your cake) was included in one reasonable price! Many places I visited seemed to have everything separate. Turf Valley was beautiful and the fountain outside makes for great pictures. Everything leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day went smoothly. Jenny was my coordinator and she was always there when I needed something. The maitre d made sure everything went according to schedule on the wedding day. A free anniversary stay is also included in the package:) \r\rI would highly recommend Turf Valley as a place of reception!

I loved working with Turf Valley for my wedding. Mary (my sales consultant) was very responsive and would help out with anything I asked of her. All of the rooms at Turf Valley's hotel were booked one year out, but Mary helped coordinate a group rate with a nearby hotel and even helped arrange shuttle service to Turf Valley so my guests wouldn't have to drive if they didn't want to. I also loved that I could drop everything off that was needed for decorations, the ceremony, and reception, and the Turf Valley staff set it all up for me in a way that was even more beautiful than I imagined.\r\rThere are only three reason I knocked a star, although I still would very much recommend this vendor to anyone. Firstly, the reservation for the wedding night room for me and my husband was not put through correctly (which I suspect was the fault of the hotel). Fortunately, this was caught the day before the wedding, and although initially I had to pay the money, it was made good within a couple of days. The second reason is that the shuttle nearly left the bridal party at the hotel, but was running quite late due to an unexpected traffic jam. I got to the ceremony over an hour late, but Turf Valley did automatically extend our time frame so we had the same number of hours that we had paid for. Lastly, while still on my honeymoon, we received a call from Turf Valley letting us know that they neglected to charge us for the ceremony fee and that we still had a balance due because of this. This has not yet been resolved, but it is a little concerning to get another bill after the wedding is over.\r

Turf Valley was a great place to have a wedding! Our wedding coordinator was very helpful, organized and attentive. The actual reception was even better than we had planned! The food was excellent and the staff was courteous and accommodating. All of our guests can’t stop talking about what a great wedding it was! As far as pricing goes, only the more expensive packages are available in May, June, September, and October- so if you’re flexible with your date, you can save money by choosing a different month. You do get a lot for your money though- plenty of stationed and passed hors d'ourves and the cake are included, the standard bar includes a great selection, and you don't have to pay a separate fee for the room for the reception.

This venue really relieved a lot of worries by providing so many services. For our reception we really wanted a venue where guest could just go upstairs to their rooms afterwards. Turf Valley is a beautiful setting. We had our wedding in the fall and the surrounding trees were so pretty. We received nothing but compliments about the food Turf Valley served. We also held our ceremony on their grounds. They have a gazebo surrounded by 5 weeping willow trees which we loved... fortunately the weather was good and we were able to utilzed this area... they do provide an indoor area in the event the weather doesn't allow usage of the outdoor space. The coordinator we worked with was very helpful through the whole process. They provided a package that took care of many aspects of the wedding (location for ceremony, reception, internal catering, a cake vendor, etc.) making the event easier to plan.

Turf Valley definitely lived up to it's reputation. They hold approx 150 wedding per year and they definitely know what they are doing. Not one thing went wrong with our wedding. The services was excellent, the food (filet and crab cake) was outstanding and the Waterford Ballroom is definitely the ballroom to book. There was another wedding taking places the same day but we never saw the other wedding party because we were so secluded at the other end of the hotel. Our Matrie D, Latesha, was fabulous, which is the reason why everything went so smoothly. I didnt have to think about a thing once my day started. She took care of absolutely everything and allowed not only my new husband and I but also our parents (who far to often get stuck with dealing with everything) to have a great time!\rI would definitely recommend Turf Valley to anyone looking for have a traditional ballroom reception in the Baltimore area.

On the day of my wedding there was a hurricane. We had to change all the plans at the last minute. Turf Valley was so accomodating and helped with every detail to make the day perfect considering we were in the middle of the hurricane.

Carol at Turf Valley along with her staff ensured that everything moved smoothly. The entire planning process with TV was effortless. I was so pleased that they helped out with so much at no additional cost (no welcome bag delivery charge, no cake cutting fees, etc.) And the guests loved every aspect of the venue. The location gives a beautiful backdrop for any event. I can't wait to return just to stay as a guest and visit Alexandra's.

Our reception was held in the Waterford Room at Turf Valley and everything was wonderful. People are still talking about the food! From my end, the evening went very smoothly and Chris from TV was wonderful at keeping everything on time. It was also really nice to have the hotel there for our guests. Many guests stayed after the reception and had a few drinks with us at the hotel bar. Many guests also got together for brunch the next morning at Alexandra's in Turf Valley.

From the start Turf Valley was very accommodating and willing to work with anything you wanted. As a DIY bride I made my own centerpieces and wanted to do my own decorating of the reception room. Turf Valley had no problem with that and allowed us in the room to decorate 3 days before the reception. When the chairs were wrong and needed to be switched they had no problem putting the chair covers and sashes on themselves when they originally told us they do not do that. \rEveryone raved about the food and the maitre'd was very attentive. All in all the reception went exactly as I had hoped.

I was very pleased with my decision to use Turf Valley as the location for my wedding reception- the director of catering is absolutely wonderful and she made the planning process ridiculously easy! The staff are very friendly and the food and reception room were so wonderful. The hotel is a beautiful spot to get married and the sales staff is helpful. One downside is that the people you work with during the planning stage are not the same people who assist on your wedding day. So not all of your \"perfect\" ideas get relayed to the catering staff. Overall, I would recommend Turf Valley, especially the Gazebo. Beautiful!

We chose Turf Valley for our reception because of its beautiful setting, both indoors and out. Rather than being in typical hotel ballroom with no windows and no personality, we had a wonderful room (the Waterford Room) with windows and views of the golf course and fountain. They were easy to work with, and patient as we asked thousands of questions. We had approximately 160 people at our reception, and they handled that size nicely. Having the hotel right there was also a great benefit, particularly for our out-of-town guests. The food was excellent - I could eat their beef wellington puffs all night. And they made sure that my husband and I actually got to eat. We had a nice quiet room for just the wedding party to regroup once we got there, and they managed everything for us. From the first time we contacted them until we left the next morning, the service was fantastic. I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else!

Everything. The staff was excellent in every way. The ceremony was supposed to be outside but due to flooding rainfall the day before they quickly made room for us inside. The place was beautifully decorated and the food was very, very good.

a very large separate area for cocktails... great space..also this is where the two bars were located so the guests then could leave the reception room to get drinks and also walk around if they wanted a break...teh room was far enough away from the rest of the hotel so that you had plenty of privacy;there is no wedding coordinator so you have to take care of all the details yourself...

It has a beautiful golf course, so the grounds are very green and well manicured. The food was absolutely delicious. They have the best crab cakes I've ever had. The best part was that all of my friends and family could drink all that they wanted, then stumble up to their hotel rooms.;As usual, everything is extra. For example, we paid extra for full length table cloths.
