Wedding and Event Center in the Southwest Michigan
Twin Gables Event Center, located in Sturgis, MI, is a barn wedding venue that can provide a rustic elegant backdrop for your once-in-a-lifetime event. Married owners Mark and Debi Schrock take delight in helping couples to create their perfect “I do” moment at their Southwest Michigan getaway. Having hosted celebrations here since 2020, this duo welcomes all manner of wedding types, from intimate elopements to large-scale events. With ample space to host your ceremony and reception, this charming barn is an ideal place to begin your next chapter. We are open through December each year. Upon arrival, your guests will surely be endeared by the venue’s scenic setting. They will be treated to a panorama of picturesque farmland, a beautiful backdrop for an open-air ceremony. We have a beautiful new pergola that is very grand for ceremonies. . After your ceremony, you can head into the barn to enjoy your after-party. Combining classic and contemporary stylistic details, this versatile barn is a wonderful place to wine, dine, and dance the night away. And if dancing isn't your thing, hang out on the deck with the table fire going or out by the pond on the poly wood benches. Twin Gables Event Center offers partial and full-service wedding packages. Up to 200 of your loved ones can join you to celebrate your nuptials here, and you will have access to the venue for 13 hours. We can facilitate 250 for an extra charge. A wide selection of event items can be provided, including chairs, tables, silverware, linens, and plates. You and your partner can make the final touches to your wedding attire in the venue’s state-of-the-art get-ready rooms. We require Liquor Cabinet for your bartending and liquor services. Your caterer has the freedom to utilize the kitchen, and janitorial supplies are included.

Definitely would recommend twin gables!! We had the most beautiful wedding here in October. Deb made everything go smoothly from first meeting all the way to wedding day! She even quickly came to the rescue when our caterer did not send serving spoons! She also had a couple small toys to help entertain our young nieces and nephews! Extremely beautiful venue for an affordable price!

Twin Gables is an absolutely gorgeous venue with wonderful family-oriented owners. Deb and Mark were hospitable and friendly offering great advice. Twin Gables has great bride and groom rooms that offer a space to get ready and enjoy. Not only is Twin Gables a beautiful site to get married Deb and Mark make it personal. They were so easy to work with and answered my plethora of questions without hesitation. They desire to do everything in their power to make it the day you desire. My husband and I are so grateful for their willingness, helpfulness, and advice in setting up.

Twin Gables is an amazing experience. We had our daughter's wedding here and Debi and Mark were amazing to work with. They were always there to help us figure things out and get all the details just how we wanted them no questions asked. They were very generous with our group. Every detail from the bridal room, the parking, the wedding site, and the reception space was so well thought out. It has such a natural beauty to all the spaces not many decorations are needed. We felt the day was magical. We had perfect weather, perfect location and amazing party to wrap up the wonderful day. Thank you for making this experience so seamless and extraordinary. Twin Gables is an amazing experience. We had our daughter's wedding here and Debi and Mark were amazing to work with. My wedding day was perfect! Debi and Mark were so great to work with! We had the venue booked for about 2 years before our wedding and Debi stayed in contact with us, giving us updates of the venue and just checking in throughout the planning process. Debi was so accommodating to all of my ideas and was always willing to answer my questions so matter how silly. Debi and Mark have put so much work into their venue and it really shows. During set up and on wedding day, Debi and Mark were both around and helped out where needed. I appreciate them so much and would highly recommend Twin Gables to anyone!

My wedding day was perfect! Debi and Mark were so great to work with! This place is amazing, the staff was very accommodating and detailed oriented. Made our job easy knowing someone had our back. What a pleasant experience we had with Twin Gables. It is a lovely place for any event. The owners were very accommodating and made sure that we had everything we needed to make it a beautiful day for our daughter's wedding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

My wife and I just got married at Twin Gables yesterday and one thing to say about this venue is that there is so much natural beauty within it. The outside is filled with trees and a little pond with a fountain. The inside of the barn is spacious and elegant with the most beautiful chandelier in the middle. There are various options to set up the dinning area for the reception and the host set up the tables for us and was even flexible enough to put up a big table for us last minute. We even had the option to open any of the 3 barn doors at any time during our wedding day. We did end up opening one to get some air flow going through and for the grand exit. The bathrooms were spacious and very clean. Our wedding day was about 90 degrees and thankfully the AC made it nice and cool in the barn for all of us. The AC was a life saver! The ceremony set up is in the perfect spot. It’s away from all distractions. No cars driving by. No people yelling. It’s just you, your partner and the trees.

Such a beautiful venue! I was one of the Maids of Honor in a wedding this past Saturday and everything was more than we dreamed of! Such a beautiful venue! I was one of the Maids of Honor in a wedding this past Saturday and everything was more than we dreamed of! Deb was so nice, very accommodating and helpful through the whole process! The dressing rooms were beautiful, the ceremony area outside is gorgeous and the inside was just magical! I can not say enough out Twin Gables and the owners. My daughter got married there this past weekend and it was wonderful. Friends and family have all raved on how beautiful the barn is. It has everything you need. The brides room is huge and the grooms room has everything to keep the guys occupied. The chandelier in the barn above the dance floor is gorgeous as is all the draping through out the barn. Owners Deb and Mark were very accommodating. Our outdoor ceremony turned into an indoor ceremony at the last minute because of the strong winds but with suggestions from the photographers and help from Deb and Mark we were able to make it work. Anything we asked or needed help with Deb was there. We made several trips to the venue in the months leading up to the wedding to make final decisions and Deb was always available. If you have a chance to book a function at Twin Gables do it, you wont regret it.

Beautiful venue! The grounds is breathtaking and Deb and Mark were great to work with. Deb was very particular about certain things, but understandable given they have a beautiful venue and want to keep it that way. The bride and grooms rooms were one of my favorite parts and really stood out compared to other venues we visited. My dad loved that it had air conditioning, my mom loved the chandelier - everyone wins:) Highly recommend!

This venue has one of the most beautiful ceremony spots. There is a lot of yard space to utilize. The greenery in the background is stunning. The barn on the outside is an off white with dark trim and beautiful. Great area to take pictures in front of. There is a lovely patio with lights.The inside of the barn is new and crisp. Beautiful venue with a big dance floor.

We can’t recommend Twin Gables enough!!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect! The venue is BEAUTIFUL and not to mention, Debi and Mark are amazing to work with from the time we booked the venue, to our wedding night. They are great people and have done an amazing job with the venue! From the outdoor ceremony space, to the perfect bridal suites, accommodations and beautiful landscaping - we HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!
