Union Church of Pocantico Hills features Henri Matisse’s last work, the Rose Window, and nine windows by Marc Chagall. I fell in love with the Church of Pocantico Hills the first time I saw it 20 years ago. I have loved Chagall my entire life, and to have our wedding in a living museum was a dream come true. We hosted 120 guests in the small stone church. The church and location staff were extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. We specifically worked with Pastor Tricia and she helped us customize our ceremony to be exactly how we wanted it. Everyone was kind, patient and responsive. I couldn’t be more pleased with how the ceremony turned out!

I had passed by the beautiful Union Church many times thinking I’d love to get married there one day, but always thought you had to be a member or know someone as it was the church the Rockefeller family attended. I loved the country church charm and marveled at the beauty of the stained-glass windows by masterful artists Chagall & Matisse. Imagine my surprise, years later, when I found out that anyone is welcome to get married at Union Church! We met the Pastor, toured the Church, and immediately set a date. We continued to attend Union Church, became members, and had our child baptized there. It’s a beautiful, historic, charming, & inviting space.
