Union Station is centrally located in downtown Charleston, SC, and can host weddings and other milestone celebrations. This open warehouse property is ideal for both large and intimate gatherings as two families become one. From intimate ceremonies to lavish ballroom-esc receptions, this venue can accommodate it all.
Union Station is approximately a 7,500-square-foot event venue with two event spaces. The bar room is a splendid area in which to host a cocktail hour. This 1,500-square-foot space enables you and your loved ones to mingle and toast to your love story. This room also provides access to the bridal suite mezzanine lounge that overlooks the bar. The large main event hall is great for ceremonies, banquets, and receptions that run long into the night.

Carley Lucas(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-05-2022 Union Station was the absolute best choice for our wedding reception. John provided excellent service, the booking process was seamless, he was always there to help and quickly responded to any questions we had. The area has plenty of parking for guest (which is a plus for downtown Charleston!!) and the event space was very clean and inviting. I would 100% recommend having your wedding/reception/or event at Union Station. It is definitely a one of a kind space for downtown Charleston. Reviewed on 11-08-2022

Tina Praino(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-07-2022 My wife and I were on the hunt for a venue much more unique than the common \"Southern rustic\" style wedding most opt for in Charleston. One night after dinner, we decided to walk over to one of Shepard Fairey's murals (one of my wife's favorite artists) which was in the same parking lot as Union Station. We peeked through the windows and felt the venue had such art installation vibes (huge bonus for my art teacher wife), which would allow us to fill the space with our own style. It was a hidden gem we were so fortunate to come across and instantly knew this is where we wanted our wedding.Things to highlight: Union Station is a huge space with large ball lantern-style lights (included!) and an awesome bar setup. The big windows and huge garage door made natural light come through beautifully. It's especially cool at night to see the surrounding murals on the other buildings that can be viewed through these windows. There's also a great bridal suite space upstairs that made it easy for us to get ready. Not to mention tables and high-end chairs are included with the venue! The venue's bar service was also top-notch and super accommodating to our guests. What was also huge plus for us is that the venue is located right off King Street which made it super accessible for our wedding guests who stayed right down the block at the Hyatt House and could be near all of the popular downtown bars. Having a venue on King Street at a reasonable price was something we didn't think would have been possible with our budget. Oh, and on-site parking in DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON! Huge bonus.I have to give a BIG shoutout to John at Union Station. Working with him was incredibly easy and comforting. John made the entire planning process so smooth and stressless. He was very responsive to any questions I had while getting things geared up before the big day. Any time I had to swing by the venue, he always made it work. The guy puts in the work at that place and it shows! Most importantly, this is a very LGBTQ+ friendly venue. I specifically wanted to hire vendors who supported the community we are a part of and we could trust. It was an easy choice with Union Station who made us feel celebrated and welcomed. Having our wedding at Union Station was an absolute dream and I can't recommend them enough! Reviewed on 08-08-2022
