The University Club at Irvine was the perfect place for our wedding. The University Club at Irvine was the perfect place for our wedding. My husband and I were thrilled with our entire experience working with University Club by Wedgewood Weddings team. Even though we live in Florida and were planning a wedding in California, they made the whole process easy and smooth.The team was helpful and responsive throughout the planning, answering all our questions promptly via email. On the wedding day itself, the team was wonderful to work with as well. They brought us appetizers during our family photos and ensured we always had food and dessert at our table. The grounds at University Club are just stunning with multiple locations that we walked to for amazing photos!

I can’t recommend Wedgewood enough. They made the planning process painless, were super responsive, and took such great care of us on the actual wedding day. We were prepared for things to go wrong that night, as you’d expect for a wedding, but I do not exaggerate when I say that it was a flawless night. Or, if any issues did come up, our coordinator Natasha addressed it before it even came to our attention!Natasha was a super star and made us feel taken care of from rehearsal all the way to the end of her shift, so we could focus on enjoying our guests’ company. She was extremely friendly, kept us on time with the busy schedule for the day, checked in on us CONSTANTLY, and assured us that we were never asking for too much. She fixed us a healthy helping of appetizers and dishes from dinner throughout the night to make sure we weren’t hungry and had plenty of time to rest in between activities. We were passed on to the care of our banquet captain later in the night, but at that point, everything was so organized and had gone so well that we didn’t need to do anything besides sitting back and relaxing. I felt absolutely spoiled that day. The food was delicious! All of our guests raved about how good it was, and how much variety they were given. With everything included in our package (chicken, fish, prime rib, tons of choices for salad, fresh dinner rolls, seasonal veggies, and rice), we didn’t have to make many adjustments to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. I seriously can’t believe how easy it was. The appetizers were fun, and of course, very tasty. The wedding packages also included a lot of fantastic vendors, and because they’re all contracted through Wedgewood, it was a breeze to communicate with them to hammer out details. Not only are the vendors familiar with the venue, but they are also familiar with each other, so things like adding florals to the cake was also super easy to coordinate.

Wedgewood Weddings at University Club in Irvine was absolutely INCREDIBLE . My husband and I work long hours, so what appealed to us about this venue was the fact that they can essentially organize everything for you, including the decorations and setting the event up - it really made life easier for us; all we had to find was the photographer. Even though \"all inclusive\" may seem like you would would get C-grade experience, we can happily report that was not the case.Our officiant, Gael, was sweet, accommodating, and made us truly feel like this was a special day. The buffet option we went with was quite tasty; the salmon was tender and the chicken was extremely flavorful; the decorations were tastefully done and not gaudy; our DJ the venue got for us was wonderful in making sure our guests had a good time, but could still hear each other talk; and the cake was a big hit as well! Our wedding was an afternoon-evening one, and when the sun went down, all the lights on the trees surrounding us made it look like it was straight from a fairy tale! Everyone at the venue, especially our day of coordinators, Zoe and Carlos, made sure my husband and I had the best experience. They were patient in answering our many questions, very willing to adjust things in the moment, and made us feel like we mattered. We're beyond grateful for everything the Wedgewood staff did for my husband and I from the months leading up to the wedding and on our big day. 15/10, would highly recommend!

10/10 University Club by Wedgewood Weddings was an absolute DREAM to work with!! My wedding was June 5th 2022 and for the year before the wedding the team at Wedgewood was nothing but helpful, supportive, responsive, professional, and just exceptional in every way. I felt supported and understood every step of the way in my planning process.When it came down to the week before and day of the wedding, they also exceeded every expectation I had. My Coordinator Mason was fantastic day of the ceremony and at my rehearsal. He answered everyones questions, kept us all in line, and was extremely professional and pleasant. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, thanks to him and the whole team at Wedgewood. As the bride and groom, we felt 100% at ease on our wedding day. Everything was taken care of for us and they were in constant communication with us making sure we felt supported, at ease, and were having a great time. Not only did we absolutely LOVE our wedding day, but many of our guests commented to us afterwards that they could tell how happy and at ease we were, we were not stressed or annoyed like a lot of brides and grooms are on their wedding days. Guest also told us that the staff were all very helpful and friendly when engaging with them, and any question or concern they had during the wedding was addressed. I could go on and on with positive things from this day, but to simplify...FOOD: 10/10, I was so worried about this since we were not able to try the catering beforehand, but OMG we loved it!! If they were a restaurant I would go back again and again...All our guests told us we had the best wedding food they ever had.DJ GIO: 10/10, so nice and fun! Played the perfect mix and even made adjustments on the fly when requested.Simply Sweet Cakes: 10/10 Delicious cake and amazing customer service! Love them.PHOTOGRAPHY: We went with an outside photographer, Lilly Tapia. Also amazing/wonderful.VENUE ITSELF: 10/10 Absolutely beautiful. We received many compliments on the space itself.BAR: 10/10 Cocktails were wonderful and no long wait times!!COORDINATOR: 10/10 Mason, an absolute doll who made sure our day ran smoothly and kept us all in line! Thank you Mason. Julia was the banquet captain and also so amazing!! One of the guests lost her phone (another family member took it home on accident) and Julia was super helpful in looking for it and assuring everything was taken care of at the end of the night. Amazing. I could go on and on, moral of the story, BOOK THIS VENUE. I am SO glad we did, and forever we will remember our perfect wedding with Wedgewood.

As soon as we walked onto the property/venue, my now-husband and I were very impressed with the modern atmosphere for the reception and the beautiful beauty of nature/gazebo for the ceremony. And all of this at a great price, as it is customizable to our needs/budget! Another great thing is that we can change our minds on the details of the wedding until our wedding day came closer. The Wedgwood Wedding team at University Club have been nothing but amazing and accommodating from start to finish, as they answer all our questions no matter how many times I asked. During our scheduled meetings, the team made sure the details were followed to our specific needs. On the day of the wedding, the team (including the Wedding Coordinator and Banquet Captain) went above and beyond in making sure our wedding day went smoothly and perfectly (without us worrying about the small details). They made sure we were taken care of and that the wedding timeline was followed as closely as possible. We love Wedgewood Weddings and we would love to work with them again, as well as recommend them to anyone who wants to get married within budget!

We had our wedding on December 18, 2021 at University Club at UCI. Both of us are associated with UCI and that was one of the reason why we chose this place. Our families are aboard and because of the covid related travel restrictions, all the preparation work are on us. We got our reservation of our ceremony chapel almost a year ago and wasn’t thinking too much about the wedding prep stuff. We found it so overwhelming after we start looking reception venues. Both of us have quite busy schedules and when we realized that we need to figure out a dozen of vendors by our own, we found us hustling and not enjoying the process. During the research we realized that there is a reception venue at UCI and we scheduled a tour and we were so happy that they have all the connections to all the vendors and the process has been simplified greatly. We were basically going through that process with Brooke and Taryn and the vendors referred by them. On the wedding day, we were able to focus on our stuff as Brooke and Taryn was able to work with other vendors, decorate the venue as we’ve designed, and accommodating us dropping of some last minute decorations and picking up our bouquets. Later that day we found us trapped in traffic from the chapel while most of our guests have already arrived. Brooke and Taryn were extremely helpful and kind to adjust the schedules accordingly and we got a really smooth and successful reception. We would like to thank them so much as every single guest told us they were so pleased at the reception. Besides the amazing service they provided, the food and drink was also unbelievably great. All of us loved the food and we were able to get special food for our vegetarian guests and high chair for junior guests. The MC/DJ Gio at the ceremony helped us greatly as well. We got all of our desired music played as we wanted during different scenarios and he guided the transitions between all programs with great energy. Overall, we simply amazed how streamlined the process was tinkered to make our preparation simple and how great the result has became. We would definitely recommend their extremely thoughtful service and helpful staff. My husband Brandon and I absolutely loved our entire experience with Natalie and Olivia. They were very helpful throughout the whole planning process and even on the day of our wedding. Living in Virginia but getting married in California can be challenging to plan but they made it feel like we were in California planning our wedding. They were very responsive to our emails and helpful when we had questions. The entire staff the day of were also wonderful to work with. They had appetizers for us when we were taking our family photos and then also after we were done with our pictures. My husband Brandon and I absolutely loved our entire experience with Natalie and Olivia. They were very helpful throughout the whole planning process and even on the day of our wedding. Living in Virginia but getting married in California can be challenging to plan but they made it feel like we were in California planning our wedding. They were very responsive to our emails and helpful when we had questions. The entire staff the day of were also wonderful to work with. After having to postpone our wedding reception last year due to COVID, we were able to have our vow renewal and reception this year and it was perfect! While CA was in the process of opening up again, we made some changes to have the reception outside. My Husband Andrew and I booked our wedding with the University Club back in November/December 2019 for October 2020. We loved the venue instantly because it was modern looking, we loved the windows and the chandelier, and it had all the services we were interested in with an all-inclusive package.Around June 2020, it became extremely apparent to us that we were not going to get to have our wedding due to COVID-19. The venue, specifically Robyn and Kevin, worked so much with me to helped me pick a new date in July 2021, and was comforting and made me feel so much better about it even though my wedding was still 5 months away.When the time came to start planning my July 2021 wedding, I was working with probably the 3rd different person at the venue, but everyone was so sweet, including Natalie and Olivia. I'm sure they would agree that I am a bit of a Bridezilla when it comes to planning out every detail, spreadsheets, etc. and they were always accomodating to my requests and all my unique decorations. I wanted to come earlier than normal to setup because I felt comfortable having that in my own hands and there were sooo many decorations and they allowed me to do so.It was actually the wedding day that threw me completely over the top with my experience here. From always having drinks and food ready for Andrew and I, to keeping me company in the Bridal Suite and helping me change, to fluffing my dress for me before the event, Oliva and Danielle were AMAZING. They had a drink in my hand before I even knew I wanted one! Honestly completely surpassed my expectations on being there for me the day of, and Olivia and Danielle definitely went beyond their job duties to help me put on my shoes and get dressed. Also a special shoutout to Mason & his crew for being awesome the entire event and the clean-up.I've received a ton of reviews that this was the most fun wedding my guests have ever attended, DJ Gio was freaking awesome, the food was amazing, and that overall the venue was gorgeous. Andrew and I paid for the entire wedding basically alone and I can say it was worth every single penny. Best night ever.Forever grateful to the Wedgewood Staff and I wish I could relive this experience with them over and over! I look forward to my 20 year anniversary party with them! :)

When our date in June 2021 finally arrived, we were absolutely stunned by how every single detail came to life. We had the wedding of our dreams here, and it is all thanks to the care and support of the Wedgewood team. The venue itself is stunning - the outdoor ceremony site is surrounded by lush greenery, with ample seating, and the reception room indoors is so perfect - clean and modern. The food is exceptional, and the bartenders are fabulous. The banquet staff are so attentive and really made my husband and I feel cared for. Right after our ceremony, the banquet captain (Mason) was waiting with two of each of our appetizers, just to make sure we ate something! The reception space gives ample room to eat, mingle, and dance - all at the same time! I can’t write this review without putting the spotlight on Natalie - she helped my husband and I through all of our postponements, and made us feel safe and secure at every turn. She is an incredible person and is the reason this venue shines like it does. Kevin is the kindest and most caring person - we so appreciated his help and care throughout our entire wedding process - including on the day of our wedding when he held my train as I came down the stairs! There are a million reasons why I could tell anyone looking to book a venue and reception location to book here - but I hope you’ll take me at my word when I say come to University Club Wedgewood. As we were planning our wedding, we had put our deposit down 2 weeks before the shut down in March. While that was happening, both Natalie and Kevin did their absolute best to keep me in the loop about what was going on and helping me make plans. I appreciated their prompt responses to my emails and questions, even though they were also in the same boat with the unknown. Unfortunately, 30 days before our wedding, UCI no longer allowed weddings through the end of the year and Kevin instantly called me and worked with me to help us plan an alternative. They helped us get in contact with Aliso Viejo Wedgewood and helped us plan and move everything over to the new location. While the situation seems as it should be stressful, they made the transition seamless. Both Natalie and Kevin were there for our rehearsal and our wedding day to help plan and coordinate our wedding and making sure everything went smoothly. They set up all the decorations beautifully and the day of went so smoothly due to their organization and coordination the day of. I was so grateful for their help and that they made wedding planning, which is already stressful enough, during COVID so much easier.

We booked the University Club as the one-and-only venue that we toured back in 2019 - we were that impressed and knew pretty quickly that it was the right fit for us. First of all, the venue is uniquely situated on UCI's campus with plenty of trees, greenery, and various areas that are perfect for pictures (they offer golf carts in addition to your package to get you around the campus for wedding photos). We fell in love with the inside portion; it was remodeled a few years back and is clean, modern, and classy. Unfortunately, we were unable to have our reception inside of the beautiful ballroom due to COVID, but still had our outdoor ceremony as planned. Secondly, the entire team/staff were exceptional! They went above and beyond to keep in contact with us throughout the daily uncertainty of the pandemic and notified us of the changing guidelines. We felt so at ease throughout the planning and couldn't have imagined a better team to support us. Lastly, we really appreciated the inclusive packaging that they offer, in comparison to other venues where the pricing gets tricky. The pricing is clear and up-front from the beginning - you know what you're paying for and don't have to worry about additional fees at the end of your event. The packaging is completely customizable and can be tailored to your needs, especially if you already have a preferred vendor for certain services. Looking back on our wedding and the craziness of COVID, booking the University Club was the best decision we made!

The staff was so helpful in planning the wedding. They were quick to respond to any questions and flexible in making changes throughout the planning process.  4. The packages include reliable, professional vetted vendors; I did not want to take weeks or months of my own time to meet with dozens of florists, bakers, DJs, caterers, coordinators, security, etc.; other venues make you do the legwork of sorting through and hiring each individual vendor. For example, DJ Gio was one of the \"included\" vendors. He made our reception great. He played many of our requests, as well as feeling the crowd—a huge mix of different genres— and keeping people dancing all night.The outdoor garden with the gazebo is charming, and I loved  the openness yet safe, secluded feeling of the premises for our Saturday evening wedding. We held the reception in the banquet room, with expansive windows overlooking the garden, tress sparkling with strings of light.Thank you!

It was a great experience for me who enjoys planning only when it's convenient. And the venue made it very convenient for me- they offer all inclusive packages with top-notch bakery and florist vendors. The DJ also comes with the package we chose. So once I got my venue I already got settled for most of the big things (except photographers because we went with an outside vendor). Their vendors were so easy to work with- they listened and didn't want to get more money out of you (what you already pay for the venue's package). They instead offered you affordable options that still fit your needs. We eventually spent a little more on cake stand rentals and extra floral details but because we desired a specific look/theme for our reception. If you pick this venue, I'd highly recommend attending their wedding fair for food tasting and raffle. My hubby and I won a free 3-hour photo booth at the fair - the booth was a blast at the reception! Also depending on your guests but it might be worth it if you upgrade to open bar - our guests loved it! The only minus was that the coordinator won't work as your personal planner/coordinator so you will need to gather a little bit help on the day from your friends and family - but nothing too crazy that a bride can't handle :) Our day was special and it happened perfectly thanks to the hard work of the Wedgewood staff that night. We're forever grateful!

I’m surprised it took me this long to write a review! I booked quite a few showings for venues. When my fiancé and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by Marissa. SHE IS AMAZING. We walked out with a lot of information and couldn’t get the venue and customer service out of our heads. We ended up cancelling all other appointments and booking the university club that very day. No regrets. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Our wedding is coming up, and I already know it’s gonna be beautiful.

My husband and I are UCI alumni, and we definitely enjoyed the idea of having our wedding reception at our Alma Mater. If we could give more stars, we would! Marissa, Hailey, and Kevin are an excellent team who really take care of you and you and your FS's special day. We had 7 months to prepare for our wedding. On top of that, we coordinated all of this from the Bay Area, while simultaneously planning to move out-of-state after our wedding! After explaining where we were at with Marissa and Hailey, they made sure our check-ins were easy, straightforward, and still fun. On top of that, their responses to questions we had were lightning fast. Both women were very accommodating, and made the flow of our event exceptionally smooth. Kevin is a ball of positive ENERGY, and that made things amazing. So, let's say Wedgewood University Club's service is rated: SUPERB💯🎯. Price wise, it was very reasonable👌. My husband and I were teetering between open bar or not, and Marissa did an excellent job laying out possible options, given our budget. We still went with the open bar. On top of that, we had a cultural ceremony we wanted to practice. Marissa was very attentive and honored the idea, including, making it possible for this to happen at an affordable cost! She's quite a delight, and you would be very lucky to have her work with you. In addition, our guests had many compliments about the friendliness and service of the bistro's bartender and team, too. I did not get a chance to try out the open bar due to the busyness of our day, though the bartender reached out and introduced herself, and complimented us on our day. Super friendly, and sweet! This Wedgewood team is connected with partners who are just as professional and awesome as them. Each vendor that was referred to us by Wedgewood (e.g. the D'Jay company, hotel concierge) were also all-stars. That now checks price and service off the list. Next, food and venue space. Our guests LOVED the food + ambiance. We were a bit nervous about food since we did not go through the tasting as we were short on time and could not fly in to the tasting day. Needless to say, our guests left full, and raving about how scrumptious everything was. The venue space is elegant. There is a gorgeous chandelier which provides a classy touch. We had a sweetheart table, and the backdrop of lights on the trees were absolutely PERFECT for our wedding theme: a rustic woodland. My husband and I highly recommend this venue space, and we will always recommend this to friends or family who are searching for a wedding/corporate/event space. This is surely the wedding power pack.🔥💪🦄

10+ Stars is what I would definitely give UCI! Let me begin by saying that we had researched many locations in Orange County, including WW Aliso Viejo and San Clemente (nice properties). But when we discovered UCI, it is quite the hidden gem! I loved how we didn't share our evening with any other events. We had this perfect place all to ourselves and our guests! At our first appointment, we were greeted by Marissa and Kevin who are just absolutely genuine and wonderful people to work with. They made the process very easy in planning. We enjoyed meeting them the very first time, and after receiving all the details of planning the perfect wedding, we knew this was going to be the most perfect venue! They gave us a tour of the property and the gazebo where the ceremony will take place. Kevin and Marissa - a Super Pro Coordinator, showed us pictures of how the property would look like once it was completed. But what we really loved is the lighting around the garden area. Marissa showed us tree trunks wrapped in mini lights and the branches also displayed mid-length mini lights. It showcased the garden area during the evening (WOW)! It really wowed us and our guests since the indoor reception area were halfway surrounded by glass windows! The evening was simply quite magical! The chandelier in the reception room was stunning and elegant! Now who wouldn't want that! Marissa and Hailey (you'll want these Dynamic Duo in your team) kept us on track every step of the way from beginning to end! They really helped us get through the last month of our planning without any \"hiccups\". They responded quickly to my emails and phone calls, concerns, issues, and relieved us from the stress. I REALLY MISS THEM! Their wedding packages are the best compared to the other venues we researched and visited. The food was so delicious which pleased us and our guests! And the \"customer service\" experience was IMPECCABLE! Their attention to detail is second to none! Marissa and Hailey ensured us that EVERYTHING from start to finish was completed to our specifications. Whatever we needed, they delivered. Suggestions at the 11th hour, they covered! The vendors they worked with our pretty awesome! You have two cake vendors to choose from and the cake tasting came with the package. The D'Jay totally rocked our evening as well! AND the entire WW staff during and after our wedding were spectacular! They were all so kind, helpful, and professional! We received so much compliments from our guests! We didn't encounter any issues the day off. It was truly a dream wedding come true! I told my husband we should renew our vows there next year! That's how awesome WW UCI staff/team treated us! WW DOES live up to its name of creating an \"INSANELY MEMORABLE DAY!\" Oh, and one extra detail that truly impressed us and made our day much more memorable is this, when my husband and I went to our sweetheart table for the first time, we discovered a framed picture of us that Marissa had taken right after the ceremony. She actually took the time by printing it and framing it! WE WERE ABSOLUTELY THRILLED! It was our first official wedding photo! Now, that is beyond customer service! That's putting a lot of love and care to our wedding! Thank you a million times over! We really do miss you all! We couldn't have had a fun and successful evening without you all!!!

Cindy and Clarissa at the UCI club were great! The location is a great value and the staff are very reliable. The food is really good (lots of choices) and they are very flexible about how they do things like open bar. They have an awesome vendor list which we used extensively. The vendors they work with the most are also reliable, are a great value and do a great job. Cindy and Clarissa are very organized and easy to get in contact with. They let us make several adjustments to the food and reception details over the few weeks before the wedding. We were able to bring all of our decorations the day before the wedding and they arranged everything. They directed everyone on what to do during the rehearsal and kept track of timing for our wedding day, making adjustments as necessary. We don't what we would have done without them. They made everything very easy. We would definitely recommend others use this venue!The venue holds maximum of 200 people for an indoor reception and ~300 people for an outdoor reception. They recently changed the look of their banquet hall so their ceilings look amazing now. They also added some new string lights to their outdoor area. We saw some pictures of what other couples were able to do with the venue and this inspired us to pick this location!

We just had our daughter's wedding here last Saturday and it was wonderful. The event manager, Cindy Lee was incredible! She is very organized, helpful, and honest. She helped us through every step of the wedding from the venue to the vendors. She was always pleasant to work with and her staff was very efficient and professional. She told us what to expect at each part of the ceremony and reception and she delivered on all of it. We had so many compliments on having such a great wedding, and we believe it was mainly because Cindy made everything so easy for us. We would recommend this venue 100%. Thank you, Cindy.

My (now) husband and I originally booked the University Club because we were UCI alumni and the location had a special place in our heart. Looking back on our big day and the whole process of wedding planning, we got way more than we ever paid for.The wedding coordinator, Cindy, is the BEST coordinator EVER. She is extremely organized, responsive, detail oriented, and thorough. And she is fast paced, which I like. She is quick to think on the spot and problem solve through any situation. She accommodated my last minute changes in the guest list, so that we weren't charged for the food plates of extra guests. When we found out the L.A. Rams were holding their first practice at UCI on the day of our wedding, Cindy got a parking attendant at our site hours before our reception began to make sure nobody except our guests were using the University Club parking! Cindy and her assistant Carissa also went above and beyond to make sure every question I had was answered with specificity and detail. Emails were answered quickly, sometimes on the same day! When I was unsure about tax and the service charge, Cindy took the time to explain to me and my dad who was looking over my wedding contract. Cindy made sure that there were no surprises on our bill.On the note of going above and beyond, Cindy helped us get the exact color of up-lights we wanted and even helped creatively lay out all of our cookies for our ice cream sandwich bar. She has an eye for what looks good! Finally, my father in law left his wedding ring in the bathroom on accident, and Cindy was sure to communicate to my Maid of Honor and my husband that it was locked in a safe at the University Club waiting to be picked up at our convenience. Thank you to the University Club for making our day unforgettable. To our sweetheart table's server, to the bartender that made sure my friend's were having a blast, to our coordinators, it was such a pleasure to work with you!

We had a wedding at UC Irvine university club in April of this year. It was a big success and we believe the day couldn’t have gone this smoothly without the site manager Cindy Lee and her assistant Carissa’s help. This duo has been helping us from the very start of the wedding. They are extremely professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. They make sure we are on the right track along the planning process and they spend lots of time answering all the e-mail questions we have. On the day of the wedding, they run around all over the venue to make sure everything is well-organized and that we are doing well with the time. The venue itself was recently renovated and it was gorgeous! It was absolutely a hassle free experiences, and plus, both Cindy and Carissa are very pleasant and they are super fun to work with! 5/5 stars and would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married!

It was a big success and we believe the day couldn’t have gone this smoothly without the site manager Cindy Lee and her assistant Carissa’s help. This duo has been helping us from the very start of the wedding. They are extremely professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. They make sure we are on the right track along the planning process and they spend lots of time answering all the e-mail questions we have. On the day of the wedding, they run around all over the venue to make sure everything is well-organized and that we are doing well with the time. The venue itself was recently renovated and it was gorgeous! It was absolutely a hassle free experiences, and plus, both Cindy and Carissa are very pleasant and they are super fun to work with! 5/5 stars and would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married!

I don't know what craziness lead me to wait so long to write this review. I got married here in August 2014 and loved the experience. Love, love love. Here's why:\r\rCINDY: Definitely the number 1 reason. She, the coordinator, is included in the price of the event, and she's SO much more than a day-of-coordinator. I met with her at the site 3 or 4 times and corresponded numerous times by email. She was incredibly on top of details and organization, and she did it all with a fantastic bubbly energy. She was never overbearing but rather very receptive to our preferences and needs. I'm definitely a detail-oriented person, so I was profoundly happy to have someone like her manage everything for our wedding. On the day of our wedding, she did an incredible job of making sure everything stuck to schedule, and she put out lots of little fires (probably even more than I know about, since I think she did her best to avoid stressing me out!). I truly can't imagine how I could have done it without her.\r\rVALUE: Of course you should shop around and see what works for you, but the UCI University Club was one of the 2-3 most inexpensive packages I found (I was looking for a venue with catering and rentals included).\r\rFOOD: They created a menu just for us, and now it's on the website as a preset package! Look for the Asian buffet :D It was really nice to see their flexibility in making a menu that suited our tastes. We got to do a tasting beforehand; we did have to pay the lunch entree price that was determined for our dishes, but we got a 25% discount, so it was fine. The food was very good for the price; people especially loved how tender and flavorful the beef was.\r\rSETTING: Just beautiful. I have a love of trees and twinkly lights, and this spot has PLENTY of those gorgeous things. The gazebo is such a nice setting. Lots of great spots to take photos. I also loved the drapery in the ceiling of the reception room - included in the price, not $1000 extra like I encountered at another venue! The pictures speak for themselves. Parking is also free, which is great.\r\rIf you think this spot might fit your vision for your wedding, GO CHECK IT OUT. Cindy and her staff made the whole experience amazing!

The time spent willing to work with me to tweak the menu was so appreciated. We did the buffet to accommodate as many guest food preferences as possible. The guests all remarked how light and fresh the food was - not heavy and weighed down with sauces. Even the steamed vegetables were perfectly cooked and fresh. It was all a big hit! Her advice as to how many hors d'oeuvre trays were needed was spot on - people felt the food \"just kept coming.\" Exactly what I wanted the guests to feel - that they were being well taken care of. (You know Italians and food - the more food, the more love!) It felt as if, though impossible, she was in a million places at once, checking on things, and following up. As the wedding ended, Cindy came to us to let us know that she had packed up the things we'd brought so we could exit more quickly at the end of a tiring, but lovely evening. I took on the major responsibilities of organizing our wedding, and Cindy walked me through each step, asking excellent questions, making sure I was on track, and providing me with a great list of affordable vendors who helped to make our wedding day the most memorable of my life. \r\r\rThe day of our wedding was so beautiful. Cindy and her staff took care of everything. The food was very good, the event felt intimate and joyous, and Cindy made sure that all of our needs were met. I received so many compliments from our guests about Cindy and her staff. Cindy became more than just our wedding planner; she became a valued friend throughout this process. Our wedding was on November 9th, 2013. We had our reception here. We took pictures out by the gazebo, in the beautiful garden area, cocktail hour in the library, and dinner in the dining room. We had close to 160 guests and it was the perfect fit! Our guest raved about the location. What I love about University Club:\r-Doesn't feel closed in (huge windows in dining area)\r-Working with Cindy is awesome, she is so helpful and knowledgeable, she was never pushy, made us feel comfortable\r-Great outside space\r-All inclusive (except for chair, cake, flowers)\r-Private parking lot (no valet, etc.)\r-Versatile space\r-Great prices for what you get!\r-Food was awesome! \rI will recommend this place to all of my friends. My husband and I met at UCI and so it was only fitting that we marry at the University Club at UCI. We also had a tight budget for our wedding, but wanted to invite all of our friends and family. The University Club allowed us to have a good sized wedding (120 guests) for an affordable price. The food was amazing, the service was great and the location was beautiful. Everyone loved the ceremony in the gazebo outside and the reception hall inside had floor to ceiling windows looking out to ring road and Aldrich park. Twinkle lights were strung from the ceiling and were around the trees in the park outside of the venue, which gave the location a nice touch. Everything was so beautiful! We got many compliments on the venue! \r\rThe price also included the services of the venue's wedding coordinator, Cindy Lee. She was amazing!! I cannot say enough good things about her. She is very organized and was really helpful in making arrangements, even giving me a list of things that I could check off to help keep me organized. She was able to accommodate the fact that I was planning my wedding from far away (we live in northern California). Cindy was also very flexible with details changing (guest count, timeline, etc). I also have to give her props for putting up with our silliness, as my family are prone to making jokes and getting off topic as she was running through the schedule! :) Cindy was instrumental in making my wedding an amazing day!

We had our wedding at the beautiful UCI University club in early September and I can honestly say it turned out to be an absolute dream come true, thanks in large part to Cindy (the venue coordinator) and the amazing staff. We had our ceremony outside at the gazebo and the reception inside in the main dining room. The outdoor ceremony site is so gorgeous with the white gazebo surrounded by several breathtaking trees. The ceremony ended just as the sun was setting, and the twinkling lights that are strung on the trees made for an absolutely picture perfect setting. For the reception, we chose to have a dinner buffet (with a prime rib upgrade) and we received soooo many compliments from our guests on the food! I know many of them went back for seconds and thirds which made me very happy! And now on to the main reason why our wedding turned out to be so perfect... Cindy and the staff!!! Cindy is hands-down the most amazing wedding coordinator... ever! She was such a wonderful help throughout the entire wedding planning process. I must have called & emailed her at least 50 times before the actual wedding and she was always so thorough and supportive in answering all my questions. She is so organized and will sit down with you for about 3 hours one month before the wedding to help you create your day-of timeline and to smooth out all of the last minute details. She is so bubbly and friendly and a true pleasure to work with, not to mention an excellent resource for vendor referrals! And her staff at the UClub is so awesome as well! So incredibly NICE and professional. They made my husband and me feel like royalty on our wedding day. I can't express enough how highly I recommend UCI University Club for you wedding!

The best decision we made was to have our wedding at the University club. Cindy Lee, the wedding coordinator, was amazing, she gave us great vendor referrals, helped us along the way and on our day, made sure everything ran smoothly. The price is reasonable, the food was so good, everyone commented how much they liked the food. The setting is beautiful, everything we wanted in a venue. Do not hesitate to book your wedding here, you will not regret it.

The best decision we made was to have our wedding at the University club. Cindy Lee, the wedding coordinator, was amazing, she gave us great vendor referrals, helped us along the way and on our day, made sure everything ran smoothly. The price is reasonable, the food was so good, everyone commented how much they liked the food. The setting is beautiful, everything we wanted in a venue. Do not hesitate to book your wedding here, you will not regret it.

Our reception at the UCI University Club was perfect! We had the ceremony at a nearby chapel, and had the reception here. We had nearly 300 guests so we opted to have the cocktail hour inside and the dinner outside on the lawn. Let me tell you, the outdoor reception was absolutely beautiful!!!! Throughout the planning and during the event, the UCI planner - Cindy Lee, was awesome! She gave us so much good advice and catered to our every need. Isaac was also fantastic as he organized everything the day of! The food was really delicious too! We had several compliments on how good the food was! The service was top notch, the decorations were beautiful, and we couldn't have had a better reception!!

I would recommend the UCI Club to anyone looking for a great combination of quality and value. I was on a definite budget for my wedding, but Cindy the event coordinator at the UClub helped me stretch my dollars as far as possible with vendor recommendations and the venue itself was gorgeous on the day. My guests LOVED it and it looked like way more $$$ was spent. The best things about it were that it was totally private (no other weddings going on) and the staff handled everything impeccably. Thanks Cindy!

I am in my planning phase of my wedding which will be March 27, 2011. Cindy has helped me so much! The facility allows you to have your vision and use the vendors that you want to use. There are so many options, and what I liked was that the UCI Club has a blank canvas, you can plan and decorate the way you want to.

This venue was perfect for our wedding. We fell in love with the gazebo and that was one of the key factors we chose it for. Cindy, the wedding coordinator is amazing and incredibly helpful. The service is excellent and everyone loved the food!

I enjoyed that the reception room was lined with windows instead of walls. That made it feel larger and not closed in. There was also a library where we had the bar located, which was nice because some family was not comfortable having alcohol at the wedding. The gazebo was beautiful.;Make sure to check if any construction is going on and if there is, if any is happening the day of your event.
