This building was originally built to be Downtown Marion’s Interurban Station for the CD&M Electric Railway Co and was named after the Parlor Car 501. If you're looking for a luxury venue that showcases historical meaning, charming atmosphere, and the absolute best staff. You have found the one! I recently hosted a private party at Urban 501, and had no regrets or negative thoughts about it. Urban 501 was the perfect spot to gather with close friends and family. The historical charm of the building and inviting atmosphere made it that much better. The bartender on the day of the event was so charming and amazing behind the bar! I can not even begin to say how many compliments I got on the venue, and how beautiful and unique the space was. Then there was Kennedy… She was the real selling point, she was so attentive and helpful along the way. Her personality was so fun and cheerful, which made me feel comfortable and invited. She is an absolute charm, and knows what she's doing. If you have an event here, I'm sure it would be a success because you'd have Kennedy by your side. I can not recommend this venue enough!

I highly recommend this wedding venue! We had both our ceremony and reception on-site, and I can't think of anything they could have done better. The space is beautiful, and the staff was excellent. The communication was great leading up to and on the day of the event. We had two coordinators for the day of, one in the morning and one in the evening, and they kept us all moving smoothly throughout the day.

Kennedy was THE best. She was always positive, upbeat, and most importantly responsive. If I sent an email at noon I got a response by 1pm if not sooner. I cannot thank Kennedy enough for the work she put in to making our day great. We viewed the venue while it was under construction; the vision was there but only on paper and in our heads. We chose the Urban501 bc it met the look/feel we wanted. It more than met our expectations; it was beautiful.

Where do I even begin! What. An. Amazing. Venue!!! PERFECT place for my wedding. Everything was so beautiful and everyone loved it. Kennedy is THE BEST!! She really made the day go smoothly and I couldn’t be more grateful!

I highly recommend Urban501! We had the privilege of being one of the first events held in this space on June 2nd, 2023. The vibe was amazing & the staff was so sweet! They made us feel like celebrities, HA! The food was … unbelievable! So many amazing things to say about this place. Downtown Marion is a better place with Urban501! 10/10 recommended! ✨🤍

We're having our wedding at Urban 501 on November 10th, 2023 and we’re so excited! Communication with the venue has been great and super responsive. I’ve emailed at 9 PM before and gotten a response within 30 minutes before. We’re loving the renovations they’re making so far and the vibe they’re creating. I have every confidence our wedding is going to be amazing at this venue

We attended an event at Urban501 and instantly fell in love with the vibe of the space. It's an old trolley station, and the way that they incorporated the history of the building into the decor is really unique. We love that there is on-site catering from Bucci's Italian Scratch Kitchen, and we had an excellent experience when we ate there to test the food. Kennedy and her team are so helpful, so accommodating, and work to make the experience perfect. She also had great recommendations for local vendors that has made the process really easy. We have been thoroughly impressed!

My fiance and I recently toured Urban501 in our search for a wedding venue and we fell in love with the history, character, and charm of the building! Kennedy gave us a tour of the space and was so organized and knowledgeable. It was a very easy decision to choose Urban501 as our wedding venue!

Urban 501was the PERFECT venue for our corporate dinner. It is absolutely gorgeous in design and had plenty of room, but still felt inviting & cozy. Kennedy is sweet and quickly addressed any concerns while working with me to make this event exactly what we needed (& more). Sika Corp will definitely be hosting at Urban 501 again. ((I thought I had more photos))

We’re having our wedding at Urban 501 in November and so far planning has been amazing! I knew as soon as we stepped foot in the main ball room that this was the place. Kennedy is a dream to work with and pays attention to EVERY detail! She definitely knows what she’s doing. We also recently ate at Buccis, the restaurant attached, and the food was incredible!!!!! Highly recommended checking out this space for your wedding or any other event you have coming up!!!!
