UUFCO is a wedding venue located in sunny Bend, Oregon. This stunning property elegantly blends modern amenities and 22-acre wooded landscape with both indoor and outdoor spaces for year-round events. Constructed of locally-sourced stone, multiple tones of wood, and floor-to-ceiling windows, the building offers a Scandinavian ambience that allows natural light and the wilderness to flow throughout. With a variety of spaces to choose from, UUFCO can host the wedding of your dreams. Your big day begins with a ceremony in the Sanctuary, an expansive room with large windows, concrete floor, wooden ceiling and stage, and custom lighting. Here, twelve rows of seats can be placed for larger ceremonies to host all your friends and family. The Sanctuary also includes projectors, a grand piano, and audio-visual equipment. Cocktail hours, banquets, and receptions follow in the large Gathering Hall. With access to the Grand Patio, this flexible room is a beautiful space to raise a toast to new beginnings. Inside, a banquet can be laid out as well as a head table for those all-important speeches. After dinner, the room can be rearranged to include a seating area, dance floor, and live entertainment. Additional amenities include a commercial kitchen, large parking lot, and inventory of tables, chairs, and dinnerware. The site’s event manager will work closely with you to create the setting you've always envisioned, equipping you with creative license and guiding the staff to fully implement your perfect day. This ensures that everything runs smoothly so you can simply focus on enjoying your once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

Jonathan was amazing to work with and the church is absolutely beautiful. The space was easily converted from ceremony to reception. It fit 150 guests comfortably with enough room for a dance space! Also so much more affordable than other Bend venues. Thank you!!

The folks at UUFCO are very experienced in event hosting, very helpful and fun to interact with. And the space is absolutely incredible - every single one of our guests commented how beautiful the gathering hall was. I highly recommend the UUFCO as a wedding (ceremony and/or reception) venue.

I am so glad we found this place! With Oregon weather being completely unpredictable, we wanted to have both our ceremony and reception indoors. This gorgeous venue allowed us to do just that - plus it’s big enough to host large groups! The sanctuary is massive, the Pete Seeger Gathering Hall is an ideal spot for guests to sip cocktails and hang out pre-ceremony, and the outdoor patio is simply amazing. There is a great kitchen your caterers will love; and a nice, large dressing room which is PERFECT for the bride and her girl squad to get ready before the ceremony! Turned off by the word “church?” Don’t be! This is not a “Christian only” kinda place. The Universalist Unitarian Church is a place for ALL spiritual backgrounds - atheists, Jews, pagans, Christians, etc. This makes it a perfect spot if your friends and family are of mixed faiths. It’s easy to find (my mother is notorious for getting lost, and even she managed to find it), and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Last but most definitely not least, the staff are amazing and ridiculously helpful every step of the way. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough!

Meet the UUFCO Team
Jonathan Beil (Manager) Jonathan became UUFCO’s event manager in early 2018. He grew up in New Jersey and moved to San Francisco to attend the California Culinary Academy. For the next 28 years, Chef JB worked in some of San Francisco’s finest restaurants. In the early 1990s he and his wife started, Fork & Spoon Productions, a boutique catering and event planning company that specialized in gourmet food with 4-star service. He has planned and catered thousands of events. Jonathan enjoys volunteering, travel, cooking, and outdoor adventures with his trusted dog, Chuleta.
