Valley View Farm is a historic working farm, cidery, and wedding venue nestled in the quiet hills of Hayden, MA. It's only twelve minutes from a bustling college town with charming hotels. Featuring restored 19th-century barns, a craft cidery, and cozy farmhouse accommodations, it's the perfect place for a thoughtful and charming wedding. From expert planning and beautiful spaces to food and drinks guests will rave about, we’ve got you covered. Our crew of expert planners and staff is available for your every need and will organize a seamless event for you and yours. Start the day in our early morning hair and makeup suite, the Baldwin Loft, followed getting dressed in our two other suites, the MUSE Cider Bar and the Love Nest. Enjoy a ceremony under the 100-year-old hickory tree or in our covered Hemenway Barn followed by drinks on the stone patio with our full menu of barrel-aged cider, cocktails using our fresh farm-grown ingredients, wines and local craft beers. Our in-house Chef provides meals featuring nearly 100% locally sourced produce and 90% locally sourced meat, dairy and grains. Afterwards, continue the celebration in our elegant barn and outside around our stone fire pits, taking in the serene country sky full of stars. Extend the evening with an after party on site complete with late night bites from our wood-fired pizza oven or taco truck complimented with a cigar and whisky bar. VENUE & PLANNING: Valley View provides the time and space needed to slow down and enjoy quality time with loved ones. The farm offers a welcoming sense of place and an experience that is truly unique while our planners and staff provide intuitive, personalized service and genuine hospitality. Wedding planning, day-of coordination, furniture and amenities, time on the farm for engagement photos, and two separate getting-ready spaces are all included. FARM-TO-TABLE CATERING: Guests at Valley View are fed meals sourced directly from our fields, woods and nearby farms. Our in-house chef thoughtfully crafts each menu around the season and your preferences. You’ll be invited to our quarterly tasting dinners where we’ll gather at long tables to experience and taste the food paired with farm-made ciders and signature cocktails. CRAFTED COCKTAILS We pride ourselves in our top-notch offerings, local craft brews and wine, our own farm ciders, and imaginative cocktail creations. Our greenhouse and gardens are dedicated to growing fresh herbs for cocktails. I cannot put into words what an absolutely incredible experience we had with having our wedding at VVF. Everything about this venue is perfect. From the moment my husband and I went on our first tour, to booking, going to the complimentary farm dinners, regular check ins with the staff all the way through wedding day, I simply could not have asked for a better team and place to have my dream wedding which they made come true. If you are considering having your wedding here, you will 100% not regret it. Our wedding planner Dan is absolute SAINT of a human and you are extremely lucky if you get to work with him. He became a good friend throughout the planning process as well and I miss him dearly to this day. He thought of everything we could have needed and was so helpful at all times. Anytime I had a question he was available to respond and help me through anything I had on my mind. The customer-centric mentality that this venue has is unmatched to any other venue I have heard about or experiences I have heard through others. They truly make the entire experience a breeze so that you can actually enjoy your wedding day and the days leading up to it! Our guests could not stop raving about the ambience, the food, and all the details that made our wedding day such an incredible day. Seriously if you are considering booking this venue please do it!!

My husband, Paul, and I got married at Valley View Farm on 09/03/2023 aka BEST DAY EVER. Our wedding planner, Dan, was a true hero. From the moment we did our tour in July of 2022 to the day of the wedding, he was our glue. I heard multiple times from people how relaxed I was. Brides, get yourself a Dan. He kept us on task and allowed us to be present and enjoy every moment of our day. At the end of the night, he orchestrated getting everything packed up and where it needed to be. The venue itself is GORGEOUS - the main barn with its bright natural light, dainty fairy lights and reclaimed wood was everything I was looking for. The Love Nest was probably my favorite spot, though, with all the vintage, antique touches. I walked in for that tour and within 15 minutes whispered to my Mom that we were in trouble because there were no checks in the con column of my list. Everything was very clearly explained and laid out in terms of catering and payments. They had excellent vendor suggestions for any areas where we needed something. I love that they offer tasting dinners to give couples a feel for how the wedding meal will pan out. And the food was out of this world. Stephanie & Sylvana were beyond patient planning out every little detail of our menu, noting who had allergies or restrictions. We had a smoked short rib that we still rave about. Thad was an absolute pleasure to work with for our bar planning. He even handled our slightly bizarre request to feature our ski boats on our signature cocktails sign. It was our wedding day, but we felt as though they treated the day as if it was THEIR wedding. Every detail was seen to and handled with the utmost care. If you're even a little on the fence, book yourself a tour and see for yourself what a gem this farm is. And maybe meet Molly & Dolly while you're there. Paul and I are already trying to figure out a time to go back and visit and swing by MUSE Cider bar.

My husband and I got married at VVF in August of this year. Our wedding planer, Shannon is fantastic. She paid attention to every single detail of the planning process, and nothing was forgotten. Not to mention that she is incredibly kind, and a wonderful communicator. She even bustled my dress and put in my veil on our wedding day! The planning and organization doesn't stop until the second the wedding ends. Shannon was there for every moment of our special day, and made us feel extremely comfortable. We loved how the team at Valley View Farm felt like a family. Suzy and her team make this abundantly clear by hosting delicious tasting dinners several times a year, to popping by to watch our first look. We cant recommend this venue enough!

My wife and I got married here in July 2023 and we cannot say enough about how amazing the entire experience was, and our guests could not say enough about our wedding either - they are still talking about it! The entire Valley View Farm team is incredible, especially our planner Shannon. Everyone there is so personable and goes above and beyond to make sure your day is special to you and as stress-free as possible. Shannon, the catering team, the bar team, and everyone in between has every single detail worked out, so my wife and I did not have to worry about anything at all on our wedding day - we were able to truly enjoy our day and take it all in. The venue itself is breathtaking. There are so many beautiful spaces both inside and outside. And the food and drinks are INCREDIBLE. Many of our guests have said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We couldn't be more grateful to have found this true gem of place and to have met the wonderful team there. Our day was exactly what we wanted, and I know it would not have been that way had we booked any other venue. We can't wait to go back and visit!

Book it!!! You're reading this because you are deciding if you want to book Valley View for your wedding - and I am here to tell you to do it!!! The location and property are gorgeous and the staff are fantastic at what they do. We felt so supported to bring our ideas to reality - from helping with vendor decisions and communication, ideating on a theme and designs, to having all the details under control. Don't let the cost throw you off - that covers all the awesome things they have to offer - no upcharging along the way for normal stuff like chairs or napkins (PS the decor is already stunning so you don't have to do much). They care about sustainability and the local community, especially with the DELICIOUS food, as well. I really can't say enough about Shannon (our wedding planner, a service that comes with your booking) who helped us have the most fantastic day. I doubt it would have been half as amazing without her. Working with her, Stephanie the catering manager, Thad the bar manager, and the whole staff to plan for over a year was easy and fun - and on the wedding day we saw them in action to make everything perfect. The owners even let us invite their farm dog, Rosie, and bought one of the horses, Penny, out to the field for us to take pictures with. I could go on about how they have literally thought of everything but really all you need to know is - if you can, you MUST book with Valley View!

Valley View far exceeded our expectations. We are forever grateful to every single person who was apart of making our special day magical. Just to mention a few - Shannon, Maggie, Alex, Thaddeus - and so many more that I am probably forgetting! The day of our wedding was stress and worry free because of the hard work and dedication from this amazing team. The morning after, all of our decor was packed into my car, and we didn’t have to lift a finger to clean, organize, or stress over clean up. It was the perfect venue and the perfect team. We could not recommend this beautiful venue enough.

The owner Suzy is fantastic, and so is the planner Dan who handled it all for us. Dan thought of and did everything. We are almost 2 months out from our wedding and it was such a perfect, magical day. We got engaged more than 2 years ago and toured VVF with Dan in 2021. From the first time we met with him we knew the venue and the people were special. We live across the country and did our wedding planning all remotely. We couldn’t imagine a more helpful, flexible and accommodating planner to work with. Dan was always a text away and always offered times to meet that worked for us despite being 2 hours behind him meaning he was working late. We SO appreciated that. He was a phenomenal resource in all planning areas and happily jumped on phone calls when we were stuck and deciding between vendors. We got married off site and Dan offered to come to our rehearsal and act as the point person for the mass, which was great and so needed! Day of the wedding he was always right by our side checking in and ensuring all of needs were met while simultaneously running all the behind-scenes coordination. And when we had a last minute change of plans due to weather, he was outside with the amazing staff moving furniture and DJ equipment back inside out of the rain. We can’t imagine the day without Dan and the entire Valley View Farm staff. SO many of our guests took note of not only the beauty of the venue but Dan along with all VVF staff’s attention to detail, organization and kindness. We had the perfect day and so much of it was in part due to everyone at VVF!

Wow, just wow. We recently hosted our wedding at Valley View Farm, and words cannot describe how wonderful it was working with the entire VVF team from start to finish. Alex Kessler and Christina Sheils helped keep us on track throughout the planning process, and oversaw the day of logistics (which is no small feat, especially given that it rained). Wedding planning can be A LOT, but Alex and Christina made it manageable and enjoyable, and went above and beyond our expectations consistently. We are going to miss them...they are both gems.The venue itself is gorgeous - naturally beautiful, and very well maintained. I love the story behind the property - the barns/pavillion were repurposed from nearby properties, and much of the material was reused for interior decorations (like the tables and chairs). They also offer so many decor options that you really don't need much for your big day. But if you decide to provide decorations for tablescapes and such (which I did), the VVF team helped set everything up after I explained my vision and they just killed it. I was so impressed, and it helped relieve that stress the day of. Set up and break down was so smooth, and required very little from us. And then there's the food...the catering team blew us out of the water with what they put together. We heard from our guests that this was the best wedding and food they've experienced...ever! The process of putting the menu together was smooth and easy. Main takeaway - the VVF team is a team of professional rockstars who deeply care about making your big day as stress-free and logistically smooth as possible. We are so grateful for everything they did for us and our guests, and we will certainly never forget it. <3

My wedding day at Valley View was without a doubt one of the happiest days of my life! Words don’t even begin to do the beautiful venue, impressive bar & catering team, delicious food & drinks, and (most of all) our planner, Dan, justice. Dan’s incredible organization, professionalism, attention to detail, and all around kindness throughout the process were unforgettable. He made August 5th a breeze and a joy for so many people. I can’t recommend Valley View and the entire team enough.

We got married in May 2023 and we had an amazing experience with Valley View. From the start of the planning process through to the wedding day, Valley View’s planning staff, Wheelhouse catering, and everyone in between were there to keep us on track and well-organized. We were re-assigned to our planner Shannon about 3 months before our wedding date after our previous planner moved on from her position. We were a bit nervous about how switching to a new planner that close to our wedding would be, but we couldn’t have been more lucky to be paired with Shannon. She was constantly available for any questions we had or ideas we wanted to run by her, and we could tell she genuinely cared about every little detail of our day. It completely down-poured all afternoon and evening on our wedding day, which could have caused some major additional stress on us. However, Shannon and her coordinators Maggie & Christina, along with Alex from Wheelhouse and the bar manager Thaddeus made it so that we had an amazing day and didn’t notice any last minute adjustments they may have made. They remained incredibly positive and kept our spirits high which gave us confidence that the day would go smoothly. We got tons of positive feedback from our guests specifically about how great Shannon was and how friendly and talented the bar & catering staff were. We also had multiple guests tell us the food from Wheelhouse was the best they’d ever had at a wedding. We couldn’t recommend Valley View Farm more to anyone considering it for their wedding.

She was constantly available for any questions we had or ideas we wanted to run by her, and we could tell she genuinely cared about every little detail of our day. It completely down-poured all afternoon and evening on our wedding day, which could have caused some major additional stress on us. However, Shannon and her coordinators Maggie & Christina, along with Alex from Wheelhouse and the bar manager Thaddeus made it so that we had an amazing day and didn’t notice any last minute adjustments they may have made. They remained incredibly positive and kept our spirits high which gave us confidence that the day would go smoothly. We got tons of positive feedback from our guests specifically about how great Shannon was and how friendly and talented the bar & catering staff were. We also had multiple guests tell us the food from Wheelhouse was the best they’d ever had at a wedding. We couldn’t recommend Valley View Farm more to anyone considering it for their wedding.

We had no idea what to expect in the process and Shannon made sure we thought of everything and stayed on track. - Delicious food. We loved creating a special menu and man did they deliver - truly delicious. - Top notch staff. Dan is kind, funny, and thoughtful - all qualities that I would want not only in my wedding planner but in a human that I would spend months and months alongside, thinking through one of the biggest days of my life. Dan is wonderfully detail-oriented, organized, and a seasoned pro, which positioned him perfectly to help newbs like us figure out all of the wedding things. Valley View itself is a gorgeous venue that speaks for itself. In my view, it is a one-stop shop for the ultimate elevated-barn wedding. The space feels fancy enough for an event (think tall ceilings, exposed beams, gleaming wood floors, tasteful draping and lights...) but down-to-earth enough to feel cozy, homey... The food at Wheelhouse Catering (the in-house catering option at Valley View) was absolutely delicious. It was absolutely one of the best meals I've had and guests were raving. All in all, I whole-heartedly recommend this venue. Our wedding was the perfect day because of all things Valley View. The space, the food, and of course, the support (Dan- he just rocks). I wish I could relive it all again minute for minute.

We liked what we saw virtually and decided to make the hours-long drive the following weekend to see it in person. The venue is stunning—a restored barn that is beautifully polished and has wonderful lighting. Suzy gave us the in-person tour and inserted fun tidbits about the history of the farm while walking us through what a wedding tends to look like at VVF. We were thoroughly impressed by the care the team seems to take in order to give each couple the wedding of their dreams; emphasizing the unique dinner and bar menus specially crafted per event, the attention to detail in decor and in the day-of coordination. While we didn’t wind up selecting VVF as the venue for our wedding weekend, this was in spite of all the amazing merits offered by the venue and the team and ultimately came down to the town of Northampton not having the feel we wanted for the rest of the weekend. We would have loved working with this team and trust they would have helped us create a magical wedding day. Thank you to VVF!

It's hard to put into words just how special this venue is. It is stunning, private and the members of the team are some of the kindest and most genuine people we’ve met. From the start, we could tell they had our best interest at heart, and wanted to make our wedding day so special for us. The owners always remembered us when we saw them, and brought so much personality and warmth to the venue. Everyone was so pleasant to work with, and the food was absolutely delicious!! We were able to create our own menu with their talented catering team, and signature drinks with the bar staff. We also opted for the late night taco truck, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint (20/10 recommend). The Valley View team went above and beyond for us to make our wedding the wedding of our dreams. From choosing our menu, to signature drinks we always knew we were in great hands. The day of our wedding was truly magical. The beauty of the farm speaks for itself. With Dan by my side I was able to fully enjoy every moment of our special day. If something did go wrong I had no idea, because he had already solved the problem! Our guests continue to rave about the amazing experience they had at VVF. My only complaint is that it’s over! 10/10 recommend!!

This was the best decision we ever made, and you should book them right now! All we have to say is SERVICE.. from the moment you meet the team, they are all about making your dream a reality. At first we were slightly sticker shocked, but then with all that they include, not to mention the white glove service and INCREDIBLE food and drink quality they supply, we did not regret one dollar spent here. Everything and everyone were so organized. They go above and beyond, scheduling meetings along the way, constantly checking in, and organizing all the outside vendors for you. They even recommend vendors and help find the right ones with you if you need it (found my incredible florist, photographer and DJ through them!) On top of it all, they even make their own house made maple syrup that we used for favors and they even handled that! Our wedding coordinator Dan was an ANGEL.. I don’t even know where to begin, but he was truly the best thing to ever happen to wedding planning, even from the moment we met him for a tour. From taking calls or texts at all hours of the day, giving advice on decors, vendors, and timelines, countless meetings with intricate notes, coordinating with all our vendors, to flawlessly executing our day, we will be forever grateful to him and the entire VVF staff. We even made the slogan “In Dan We Trust”, that’s how good he was.. It not only was the best day of our lives, but the best time planning it because of how easy they make it. We felt so prepared and at ease the day of, knowing they had it all under control, and did not have one hiccup. There’s not even thank you’s to them to give, but I hope anyone reading this highly considers booking, because I know you won’t regret it for one minute!

Valley View Farm is the BEST wedding venue out there! We knew from the moment we arrived for our first tour at the farm that it was the venue for us. Besides the beauty of the venue, our planner, Teri was one of the main reasons we picked VVF. She was knowledgable, organized, kind, and incredibly responsive (as was all of the staff). You won't get this kind of treatment anywhere else!From the ceremony options, bridal suite, getting ready spaces, the outdoor patio, the barn, the food and everything in between, every detail of this venue is perfection and I would recommend it 10 out of 10 times. Booking Valley View Farm for our November 6, 2022 wedding was the absolute BEST decision! I fell in love with VVF ages ago and when it was time for us to choose our wedding venue, it was truly the only one that checked all of our boxes. We booked VVF in August of 2020, so we had a solid two years of planning. We worked with Teri, who to put it simply, is an absolute rock star. She was responsive, kind, helpful, and patient--oh so patient--with us as our vision for the day evolved throughout our planning. That goes for the entire VVF team as well. Thaddeus and the bar staff were incredibly helpful and made some really tasty drinks. Their knowledge when it came to planning our bar package was so valuable and they answered every question we threw their way. The catering team at Wheelhouse was amazing as well. Dakota and Jake really know their stuff and helped us build a menu that was true to us and delicious. On the day of our wedding, VVF was pure perfection. Teri had helped us through our rehearsal and taken all of our decor the day before, so all we really had to do was show up. The VVF staff handled literally everything, and their attention to detail was incredible. (Someone whisked my husband's grandmother's seat cushion from the ceremony to her seat at the reception before she could even think to go back for it!) Their setup of our reception space was better than I ever could have imagined. They really thought of everything and needed so little direction! Maggie was another coordinator who helped run our day and she was a ray of sunshine. She and Teri kept me calm through some morning rain showers and worked with our photo and video teams to find the most opportune times and locations for shooting. We kept right in line with the schedule Teri had made for us and there really was a plan (and backup plan) for everything. By the end of the night, VVF's staff continued to keep everything running smoothly, making sure that all of our decor and remaining personal items made it back into our cars. All we had to do was hop on the bus and enjoy our after party, which was such a relief!Valley View Farm and its staff made our wedding day absolutely incredible. Every single guest said that the location was stunning and that the staff was on top of everything. I really can't put into words how much joy we felt the entire day and how much gratitude we have for Valley View and the staff. Teri was the MVP of the day, we literally couldn't have done it without her. The amount of work she did behind the scenes coordinating with our vendors and making plans with the staff took so much pressure off us and made everything so easy. She provided us with so much love and encouragement through the entire process and we feel so lucky to be able to call her our friend. Planning our wedding at Valley View Farm was a dream. We cannot speak more highly of the entire VVF team, especially our wonderful planner Teri!! Our wedding on 9/10/2022 was an incredible experience. From the beginning, we knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding at the Farm. From the beautiful setting to the accommodating staff and planning model to the focus on local food, the entire experience aligned with our interests. Upon booking our date, we began working with Teri to plan the day. She provided helpful insights and feedback about our decisions. She helped ease our fears and stresses for the nearly 2 years we planned. During our wedding weekend, we stayed with our bridal party on-property, which was such a fun experience. We would highly recommend staying at the farm houses. The morning of the wedding, Teri and the team kept us on schedule while allowing for the day to flow comfortably. I still don't know if anything went \"wrong\" during the day because the team took care of EVERYTHING. The organization, set up, food, drinks and service were above and beyond our expectations. Not only did our guests have a great time, but we were truly able to enjoy every moment of the day. I am so thankful to VVF for providing a memory that will last a lifetime. The whole team was very communicative, and we had several separate planning calls with Dan himself, the catering team, and even the bar manager! Day of, the team took care of absolutely everything so we could be stress free. My partner and I attended one of the quarterly dinners a few seasons before our wedding, in order to get a sense of the food and drink style. We purchased a few bottles of cider and maple syrup right from the farm as a small wedding party gift. Originally, VVF was a higher price point than we budgeted for. After seeing a few other places with similar aesthetics, we knew this was the one! Everything was worth it. The day was amazing and we received a few compliments that it was the best wedding people have ever been to!! We can’t wait to go back to visit :)

The day was absolutely perfect, and so much of that is because of the incredible staff at Valley View. We were lucky enough to have Teri as our planner, and we knew we were in the best of hands. We had a two year engagement/planning period, and Teri was completely involved the entire time, so supportive and making sure we weren't missing any important marks. The day of, she was just as, if not more, amazing, and kept every thing running perfectly, so that we could just enjoy the day. We truly couldn't have asked for a better planner, or staff in general. Our guests raved about how wonderful everyone was, not to mention the BEST food (seriously, unbelievable food), and the obviously strikingly beautiful barn. They were wonderful at including so many personal details about us throughout the venue, so everywhere you looked, it was so specific to us, and it made the day just so meaningful and special. The dance floor area is perfect, the bar is so beautiful (and with amazing cocktails!), the green truck was SO fun for us and our guests to take photos on, and the outdoor cocktail hour was so gorgeous. I could go on forever about how incredible VVF is, and we're eternally grateful to Teri, Thad, Sofia, and the entire WONDERFUL staff there for giving us the wedding day that was legitimately beyond what we were even dreaming of.

My husband and I got married at Valley View Farm on September 3rd, 2022, and it was hands down the best day of our lives for so many reasons. Dan was our wedding planner and we couldn't have been more thankful for his expertise in all things wedding-related and his goal of making our day as perfect and smooth as possible. He is always willing to get on the phone for a quick chat no matter the time of day. Russell and I truly couldn't have done it without Dan. The VVF staff is also incredible - our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about their service and expertise, too. Everyone is so kind and accommodating. My husband and I got married at Valley View Farm on September 3rd, 2022, and it was hands down the best day of our lives for so many reasons. Dan was our wedding planner and we couldn't have been more thankful for his expertise in all things wedding-related and his goal of making our day as perfect and smooth as possible. He is always willing to get on the phone for a quick chat no matter the time of day. Russell and I truly couldn't have done it without Dan. The VVF staff is also incredible - our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about their service and expertise, too. Everyone is so kind and accommodating. The setting and venue facilities are absolutely gorgeous and top-notch. All of the staff we interacted with in association with the venue were simply great- nice, professional. Our wedding planner, Teri, was superb- super sweet, professional, fun, approachable, and went over the top to make sure our day went as smoothly as possible. She was readily available, swiftly handled a last minute makeup crisis for us, and ensured we had every little thing we needed both leading up to the wedding and day of. We can't think of one suggestion for improvement as they were on top of every detail. They kept it in pristine condition- cleaning the bathrooms throughout the night, tucking in chairs, cleaning windows, etc. The groomscrew and bridesmaids had everything (and more) that we needed the morning of preparation, etc. The cocktails & food were unique, aesthetically pleasing, super tasty. Everyone is incredibly kind, helpful, and they genuinely love their jobs and want to make your day perfect. Our wedding coordinator was Dan, and he’s a literal angel. We were supposed to get married in 2020 but had to reschedule due to the pandemic. Dan took care of everything for us, called all our vendors and switched everything over to the new date, I really didn’t have to do much which was so nice. He made what was a very stressful situation the best it could of been under the circumstances. He was so so helpful during the planning process, and the day of the wedding he did absolutely everything for my husband and I, and everyone in our wedding party. The whole entire day was more than I could have ever imagined, and we owe so much of that to Dan. The bar staff is also incredible too, and Thad makes the best drinks!! Where do I start? This is the best venue ever. From Dan, Shannon, Suzy and Alex… the bar staff too… they are one hell of a farm family and it shows. These people don’t just “run a business” they seriously want to be apart of your journey… and I’ve never seen that at any of the other weddings I’ve been to. I have been to the barn about 4-5 times now. Every time, I saw the owner (Suzy) there. She’s always smiling and super friendly. She goes out of her way to be apart of your journey too. Dan was our coordinator… he was out of this world amazing. I can’t say enough about him and how calming he was throughout the whole process. We also had Alex and Shannon too who were both super reliable and comforting. We had so many people come up to us and ask us where we found VVF! Maybe I’m bias but to me it was hands down the best venue I’ve ever been to. I’ve had people mention they wanted it there but price was high, I think it was very much worth it. All the pricing was upfront and I didn’t find they added on anything. The service was amazing and it was nice having some of the decorations there too. Also, barn really didn’t need any decorations because it’s already GORGEOUS. It stands out on its own and the ceremony barn too. I honestly think we saved on flowers due to this. There’s so many places to take pictures and the birds nest is something you will not find in a normal barn wedding, let alone anywhere. We wanted a barn wedding but with a modern twist and we got just that. It was stunning!!!! We are, forever grateful to VVF for making our day so special. They packed up our entire car too and were super organized. We appreciated it so much. I should also note we had a winter wedding, and it was the BEST!!!!! Thank you so much VVF. Xoxo!!!!

You can see from the pictures how beautiful this place is but let me tell you it is even more breathtaking in person. It has a country, rustic feel but also so elegant, romantic and dreamy at the same time which is EXACTLY what we were looking for. There are two ceremony spaces, one outside by their Hickory tree and one under a pavilion, so if it rains you are covered! They have the cutest spaces for the bride and groom to get ready in as well as two houses available for rent which is also super convenient. Besides the fact that this is is the most beautiful wedding venue you'll ever find, I seriously would have chosen this place for their staff alone. Everyone is so friendly and super easy to work with, and we were blessed with THE most amazing wedding planner, Dan. From the moment we booked, Dan was so incredibly helpful. He is so organized and ALWAYS 10 steps ahead. Any time I had any questions or concerns, he would immediately put my mind at ease. I read a review back when I was deciding on wedding venues, it went something like, if you are looking for a wedding venue look no further and decide on Valley View, you won't have any regrets. & that's what we did!Valley View Farm provides the most authentic, personal, and beautiful wedding day. Our guests could not stop complimenting every detail, to the horses, the grassy fields, the pavilion, the rustic charm of the barn, our tasty signature cocktails, and of course Dan. Dan, our wedding planner, was the real MVP of the night. Everyone told us there would be bumps in our day, we would have to adjust, things happen... but not on July 10th. There was no flaw in sight, and we owe it all to Dan's precision and execution throughout the year and a half we worked with him. Valley View Farm has the best set up for a wedding. Truly. The flow of the night from preceremony hanging at the Sugarhouse cider bar, to vows in the pavilion, cocktail hour on the patio, and dinner in the barn; it's the perfect amount of movement to allow guests to constantly have something to be impressed by. Thank you Sue, David, & all the VVF staff for making July 10th the happiest of all of our days. You guys are incredible.

The result is a day of your life that you cannot wait to share with your family and friends because every last detail is beautiful, unique, well done, and warm. A wedding may only last a day but with the amount of care that goes into planning and executing your vision at Valley View Farm, the couple is left with a lifetime of memories reliving the magic of the day. Dan LaFlamme was originally assigned as our wedding planner but he ultimately and graciously served as our sanity, our patience, our wedding expert, our advocate, and our lifeline. I would never want to plan a wedding in a pandemic again but I would do it 100 times over if it meant I got to do it with Dan by my side. Dan makes you feel like no question is too detailed, no concern is unwarranted and no issue is too big to overcome. I wish I could quantify how many people (guests, wedding party, family) that told me how impressed they were with Dan’s investment in making our day as special as it was, but there are way too many to count. His involvement is perfectly in sync with your foreseen and often unforeseen needs, as he is always ten steps ahead but never makes you feel rushed or overwhelmed. A wedding goes by so fast but planning a wedding at VVF is an enjoyable journey that leaves you and your significant other able to focus on what is most important, which is getting excited for your day and everything that is to follow. This venue treats every couple as their only wedding while leveraging their expertise from a truly impressive number of completed weddings. I would have said there are no words to express my gratitude for VVF enabling my husband and me to start our marriage on the perfect note but in fact, there are infinite words because the goodness they create is something I will always find new ways to cherish and express. Since setting eyes on Valley View Farm a few years back, I knew I’d want to have my one-day wedding there. Fast forward to February of 2020 and within a week of getting engaged, I was begging my now husband to go look at Valley View. Although he thought we should enjoy the excitement and wait a little to start planning our wedding, he agreed to go visit the farm. To say we were both blown away upon stepping foot on the property, would be an understatement. As we got back into the car, my husband turned to me and said, “we can’t look anywhere else – this is where we’re getting married”. From start to finish, the team at Valley View, especially Dan, made our rollercoaster of an experience planning a wedding during a pandemic, seamless. As you can imagine with the uncertainty of everything, anxiety levels were high, but Dan was calm and collected the entire time – which I completely appreciated, as I was not (haha). An event planner myself, I was worried about all the day of details, but come wedding day, I didn’t have to worry about a thing and could fully enjoy the day – Dan took care of every single detail. I really cannot say enough about Dan; he was such a joy to work with and meeting him was one of our highlights of wedding planning. Our day at Valley View in June was perfection – from Dan hand feeding me appetizers so I wouldn’t get anything on my dress, to Thaddeus’ amazing signature cocktails, to how beautiful the farm looked – everything was flawless. Two months later, my family, friends, husband and I still cannot get over how beautiful the day was, and how Dan and the Valley View team made our wedding day exactly how we pictured it. I highly recommend Valley View to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue.

Everything about this venue is amazing! From the staff (Alex is the best coordinator ever, Tad makes fantastic drinks, etc.), to the views, and the ease of planning with step by step help along the way -- I wouldn't change a single thing about booking our ceremony and reception here. We live in CT and our guests all drove around 1.5 hours to get here and not a single person complained because they all said the venue was breathtaking! I highly recommend taking pictures with Molly & Dolly! Having a Google Sheet planner through the whole process made everything seemless and Alex was available via text, email, and phone calls whenever I needed him! We felt like a part of the family every time we came to visit and we will definitely be coming again for events and the Muse Cider Bar! Planning a wedding during a pandemic was no walk in the park, but everyone at Valley View made it seem easy! We love you!

Wow. I don't even know where to begin to explain how incredible this venue is, from all the staff, to our wedding coordinator, bar manager, to the beauty of the farm. Our wedding was on 6.20.2021 and we were planning the wedding through COVID. Our wedding coordinator went above and beyond to have frequent conversations with me and my mom to discuss all the details of our wedding. Alex, our coordinator, provided honest advice, helped us think outside the box, and always reassured us that everything would be perfect. Our wedding was beyond perfect, thanks to Alex and his team. He worked with us to bring our dream wedding vision to life, he worked with all our vendors to ensure they were in sync with the timeline of the day. Because of his attention to detail, the wedding ran flawlessly.One major point to also state here is that our wedding was a full kosher wedding. We brought in a caterer from New York who had to \"kosher\" the kitchen, ensure all the utensils for the bar were kosher, as well as the fruit, syrup, alcohol, etc that was used at our wedding. Alex and his team were patient and worked hand in hand with our caterer to ensure the wedding would be perfect and that the caterer would be able to do his job seamlessly. Thank you to VVF for allowing us to have our dream wedding, but also accommodate our kosher guests and family.I could not recommend this venue more, it is beyond perfect and I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Thank you to VVF for making all our dreams come true!!

Planning a wedding during covid is hard but Teri and her team never made me feel like a burden with all the questions and concerns I was throwing at her. From our very first sit down meeting where Teri and Thad sat down with us and went over our entire day and cocktail menu. I did not have to stress about one thing when it came to planning this wedding – Teri sent me vendors that came highly recommended by VV and they were all a pleasure to work with! Thaddeus made the most amazing signature cocktails for our guest that they are still trying to recreate these! The vision I had in my head was nothing compared to what Teri and her assistant Shannon put together for us the day of. These two women never stopped moving from beginning to end! So I again I can’t stress this enough, if you are considering VVF just do it! The stress this amazing venue saved me and my family while planning our wedding is unimaginable. I was the most calm I have been on my wedding day and that is all due to Teri and her team.

I will never forget touring the venue and learning the history behind so many of the details, both big and small. He thought of everything, from the moment we started planning to the day after our wedding, and we would have been lost without him. When we found out we would have to reschedule our wedding for the 3rd time and find the 3rd venue, we thought about canceling altogether. When our wedding coordinator found Valley View Farm and they had only 1 Saturday left for the summer, we knew it was fate. From the first person we talked to at the Farm all the way to the morning after our wedding, it was more than we could ever have imagined. I never thought we’d get married in such a beautiful location and top it off with the friendliest, most knowledgeable planners & staff. It was a dream come true!! Valley View is a well-oiled machine which takes so much of the stress away from planning. While proving they know what they’re doing, they also make you, your family & all your guests feel like the only ones to ever get married in this beautiful place! Alex is a gem to work with and really provides a personalized touch to everything. He truly got to know my (now) husband & I, providing advice and guidance when appropriate. We loved going to Valley View and hanging out (planning) with Alex because it felt so comfortable. The team provides everything a bride, or a wedding vendor would want in a shared Google planner with a detailed schedule, seating chart template, layout, bar details, etc. I was able to share it with all our vendors, so we were all on the same page leading up to the wedding and day-of. I could not recommend Valley View enough and wish I could relive our wedding day over & over at their amazing venue!

When we found out we would have to reschedule our wedding for the 3rd time and find the 3rd venue, we thought about canceling altogether. When our wedding coordinator found Valley View Farm and they had only 1 Saturday left for the summer, we knew it was fate. From the first person we talked to at the Farm all the way to the morning after our wedding, it was more than we could ever have imagined. I never thought we’d get married in such a beautiful location and top it off with the friendliest, most knowledgeable planners & staff. It was a dream come true!! And if you get so lucky as to work with Dan, one of their planners, your life will never be the same!! Dan is a superhuman and one of the funniest, kindest people we have met. Valley View was better than anything I could’ve dreamt. It was a true fairytale to get married at such a magnificent spot. Dan and Suzy were so easy to work with and made us feel like the most special couple. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the patio, views, and barns were. We even got to take sunset photos with the farm’s horses, Molly and Dolly! Dan is a terrific planner- he responds immediately and is super reassuring. Nothing will go wrong with Dan as your planner. Valley View Farm was the most perfect venue for our wedding in August 2019 and I couldn’t imagine a better fit for us. We knew immediately after arriving that it was the right fit in terms of atmosphere and aesthetic – with the main barn having AC in the summer, indoor bathrooms, areas for bridal party to get ready, a pavilion for a covered ceremony, on-site parking, and the absolutely STUNNING setting… I can’t imagine anyone not falling in love with this venue if you’re looking for a barn/farm/modern-rustic location. Where the magic really is though, is with Valley View’s staff!! We were most impressed with how seamless the whole experience was… and we owe all of that to Dan and Sue! We were also blessed to be able to work with lots of other wonderful people/vendors as well and we loved that VVF gives people the flexibility to work with who they want – this made our experience extra special. I didn’t know much about wedding planning and hadn’t put much thought into the details until we booked our venue… so we feel very lucky that Dan was such a seasoned professional and thought of everything we didn’t! I’ve heard so many brides say they were SO stressed during the wedding planning process, and while there were things that are inevitably a lot to take in (finances, etc), Dan and Sue really made all our anxiety go away when it came to the day-of and coordinating things between vendors and even with family members who wanted to be involved. We feel very lucky to be able to look back on our wedding day with all amazing memories and no-stress – THANK YOU VALLEY VIEW!!

The moment we set foot in the barn at Valley View, we knew it was where we had to get married! This place is stunning-every single part of it! We got married in November of 2020, having to adjust our original plans due to COVID. Despite the changes that we had to make, we thought our day was simply perfect; thanks in large part to our planner, Dan and the rest of the warm and welcoming staff at Valley View, who remained flexible and accommodating the whole way through. As soon as we arrived for our wedding weekend, we were amazed with how at ease we felt because we knew Dan had everything handled. Every text, phone call and email leading up to our big day was responded to immediately and with such kindness and enthusiasm. This carried through our entire wedding day; every single detail was taken care of, so we were able to fully enjoy every moment together. Our guests were amazed by the beauty of the venue, and we were so happy to share it with them. Since we were only able to have a 25-person wedding, almost all of our family and friends were able to stay in the two houses that we rented on the property. The convenience of having everyone there together made the weekend even that much more special. Our day was magic and so was Dan and the entire Valley View Family. Valley View will always be such a special place to us and we can’t wait to come back and visit for years to come! We are forever grateful to VVF for making our wedding day even more incredible than we could have ever imagined!

We knew this was the place we wanted to share our love with family and friends, not just for the opportunity to be in a stunning location with all of the amenities, but because of the impression the staff makes from the moment you meet them. The family of staff at Valley View are unmatched. They share your love and excitement, and manage all of the fine and complex details with ease. They guided us through every decision while making us feel like their priority, answering emails within seconds, and meeting as many times as we needed to organize our day. We were blessed to have Alex on our sunny October day, and he blew our family and friends away. We received countless comments of praise for what a beautiful venue, and such incredible staff that met the needs of everyone present. Our wedding day was truly perfect, and we have Valley View to thank for making our dreams come true. It was pretty special to take a drive back to the farm to pick some things up the day after our nuptials, and end up spending an hour just talking to the owner, David. We feel so lucky to be part of the many couples who are part of the Valley View Family and we cannot wait to take that drive to the farm for future anniversaries. Where do I even begin? If you are even thinking about getting married at Valley View, do it. It is worth every penny and more. Of course Valley View is incredibly beautiful, the landscape, the barns, the horses, everything, it is gorgeous. But what makes Valley View the best venue ever is the people. Every single person we interacted with from giving our deposit to the last song of our wedding night, they were all incredible. They go above and beyond to make your wedding day as smooth as can be. They treat you like you are their first and last wedding at the venue. We had 175 guests at our December 28th wedding, we fit perfectly inside the venue. The Bar Staff went out of their way to make cocktail hour such a breeze. They had a drink in every guests hand within 5 minutes of the ceremony being done. (Shout out to Tad!) Also, having a kitchen onsite at the venue, allowed for every meal to be piping hot when they came out, which is so rare at a wedding. (Thank you to Latitude Catering!)On a personal note, Teri & Dan -- Thank you for the unwavering support you gave to this sick bride on her wedding day. From going to get the Dayquil right before walking down the aisle, to having a pocket filled with cough drops, all those little details were beyond appreciated. I just cannot say enough good things about Valley View -- I wish we could do it again next year! xox

First of all I might be biased but Valley View Farm is the best place to get married. There is no question. The venue is beautiful, rustic but elegant and I barely needed a decoration. My guests couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the place was. The staff is amazing, they go above and beyond to make the day extra special. The planning process was easy, I was in contact with them constantly and they responded quickly and were unbelievably organized. The bar manager helped create a personal drink that reflected my Harry Potter loving weirdness and Alex and Dan make you feel like you're the only bride that has ever existed. They had suggestions and they were never wrong about how amazing the suggestions would be, they worked with us every step of the way, holding my dress, holding my jacket and my drink. I cant brag about the two of them enough. The whole place is a photographers dream, Molly and Dolly their horses are the cutest things I ever laid eyes on and you even get to have photos with them!! They have a full catering kitchen for the caterer you choose a private Love Nest for myself and the girls and my husband and the guys have their separate area in the muse cider bar area, which is amazing in itself. If I got married all over again Id pick this place a hundred times.

My husband and I got married here on 12/21 and it was everything we imagined it would be and more! The staff members were attentive from the time we went to look at the venue until we left the venue on our wedding night. I never had an email go unanswered for more than 24 hours in the entire year and a half I spent planning my wedding. Dan and Alex were always happy to answer my questions and help in the planning process, and I am incredibly grateful I got to work with them. Planning a wedding, especially from a distance like I did, can be incredibly stressful but Dan and Alex really helped to alleviate the pressure with their attention to detail and willingness to work with all my requests. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. All of my guests were so impressed with the aesthetics of the barn and the grounds. It was the perfect place to host my winter wedding, and I cannot recommend this venue enough.

We knew this would be the location for our wedding before we even reached the top of the driveway! The beauty that you see in pictures is just as breathtaking in person, and if possible, even more incredible. This setting will leave your guests talking about your wedding for months after your big day! I began picturing specific wedding details as we toured the grounds and the excitement just took over. As the planning process began, we quickly realized how amazing the people behind the scenes truly are. This is one of the hidden gems of the farm! The hardworking owners, Sue and Dave, are incredibly welcoming and they make you feel like family from day one. So many people helped through the planning process leading up to the day. They had this innate ability to ease any stress and ultimately making the whole process fun. Our day of event coordinator Dan was the absolute BEST! I had heard of many people hiring a wedding coordinator, but this wasn’t anything I had every thought about doing. You absolutely do not need to at this venue. Leading up to the wedding, Dan made sure every detail was in order (including the weather) and he was the comforting voice I needed as the day neared. He has this remarkable ability to make you feel like you are the only couple in the world getting married on the farm, even though the calendar shows otherwise. The day of, he was absolutely everything I needed him to be and made sure our day unfolded exactly as we had envisioned it to. Valley View Farm will forever be imprinted on our hearts. As we welcome a baby girl next year, we cannot wait to introduce her to our Valley View Farm family and make the farm part of many of our family traditions. The farm and the people who make up this wonderful place are irreplaceable. I know making these decisions can be challenging but finalize this choice before someone else does! You will be filled with thankfulness as you go through the wedding planning process and all the days that follow your wedding day.

Leading up to the wedding, Dan made sure every detail was in order (including the weather) and he was the comforting voice I needed as the day neared. He has this remarkable ability to make you feel like you are the only couple in the world getting married on the farm, even though the calendar shows otherwise. The day of, he was absolutely everything I needed him to be and made sure our day unfolded exactly as we had envisioned it to. Valley View Farm will forever be imprinted on our hearts. As we welcome a baby girl next year, we cannot wait to introduce her to our Valley View Farm family and make the farm part of many of our family traditions. The farm and the people who make up this wonderful place are irreplaceable. I know making these decisions can be challenging but finalize this choice before someone else does! You will be filled with thankfulness as you go through the wedding planning process and all the days that follow your wedding day.

If you're reading this review, it's fair to assume that you're looking for a venue to host your wedding. If Valley View Farm is on your list, believe me, your search is done. I don't need to speak to how beautiful the farm itself is - it really does look just as spectacular in person as it does in the photos and videos that you see online. My wife and I got married in September but first toured the farm in the dead of winter and were STILL blown away by how amazing it is. Something that you need to know is how truly awesome the staff here is. When we started wedding planning, that wasn't something that we really considered. We knew we wanted somewhere beautiful and convenient for our guests, but we didn't really consider who would be providing the experience for our guests. Thank god we chose Valley View farm because their staff knocked it out of the park. The owners, Sue and David, are incredibly warm and welcoming - it felt like we were family when we first met. That sense of amicability translates into their staff, who in turn made us feel at ease and cared for, as a family would. Our event planner, Teri, did a fantastic job leading up to the wedding to make sure that everything was in order and then nailed it on the day of to make sure our vision for the wedding was executed to a T. I'm so grateful to now be a part of the family of couples who have shared vows at this amazing venue. I'm looking forward to coming back to visit for years to come and reminisce on an outstanding day and say hello to the amazing staff that made it all possible. So, long story short, do yourself a favor and book this venue before someone beats you to it - you won't regret it!

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Valley View Farm!! As soon as I saw it I knew this was where we would get married. The views are breathtaking; the pictures don’t do it justice! Suzy and David have created a stunning venue in a quiet corner of the world.It provided the perfect indoor-outdoor vibe that we were hoping for. The detail inside the Yellow Barn was beautiful & it provided plenty of room for dinner & dancing for 165 guests. Loved the mix of rustic feel with flowy fabrics and soft touches.The wedding coordinators made the wedding planning process a breeze! They were so attentive to us throughout the day from the getting ready to the first look through the whole ceremony and reception. They were always there when we needed them! They also took special care of our parents and wedding party. Their attention to detail was impeccable. They did so much behind the scenes work and made it all go off without a hitch. We had the most amazing day and highly recommend this venue!!

When we started our search for venues we were really set on a Saturday in October. Upon stepping foot onto the farm we knew we wanted to change our date so that Valley View could be our venue, we didn’t even want to look anywhere else. It’s beauty and set up are absolutely stunning. There are so many beautiful spots for picture taking, and the set up works so well for ceremony in pavilion barn, followed by cocktail hour on their patio, and right into yellow barn for reception- it’s a perfect flow and all right in one area! From the very beginning when we met Sue, to our initial planning meeting with Alex&Dan, to all finalizing and day of coordinating with Teri- the team made our experience flawless and stress-free. They all always had a smile and were there to help with any task big or small. Teri was truly the best on wedding day, as I was stressing about the cold & rain she calmed my nerves and made sure everything went perfectly. She also did an excellent job coordinating with all of our vendors beforehand. My grandpa has a walker and she took extra time and care to make sure he was comfortable and taken care of- which meant a lot to him and me. The team here doesn’t miss a beat and I wish we could do our wedding day here over and over because it was truly magical thanks to the farm’s beauty and the top notch team who runs it!

What a perfect venue and staff!! Our experience with Valley View was seamless and stress-free from start to finish. The venue itself is gorgeous. The fire pits on the patios add a nice touch for fall evenings, and the interior of the barn is absolutely beautiful! We had about 140 people at our wedding, with a band, and were able to fit everybody in the barn very easily without it being crowded at all. It really is the perfect setting for couples who want a rustic farm wedding. A plus is having two houses on property too. We stayed at the farmhouse and it was very convenient and comfy!!! People cannot stop talking about how beautiful Valley View is.The staff - I could talk about Dan all day long! He is a rockstar. We primarily worked with him throughout the process and I don’t know what I would have done without him. He is so on top of everything, paying attention to every detail leading up to and including the day of the wedding. He is also so calm and nice. We had a lot of laughs with him too. Because of Dan we were able to fully relax and have fun. We had nothing to worry about and fully trusted Dan and the staff at VVF. Big kudos to everybody else that was part of the planning process as well - everybody was so pleasant and great to work with (Alex, Suzy, Thaddeus...everybody!!!!) We are so grateful to have been able to have our wedding at Valley View. It was nothing short of perfect and we can’t wait to go back and visit sometime !!

There is even a space for the bridal parties to get ready the day of the wedding which was a big plus for us. This was the one and only venue we looked at, and that was enough for us. I was such a nervous bride, but Dan took care of absolutely everything and made me feel so relaxed. Anything I needed, Dan was there. Dan also met with me multiple times for planning and replied to me almost immediately whenever I had any questions. Thank you Valley View Farm for a perfect wedding day!

From our first visit we felt so welcomed! We were greeted by Dan, Alex, Sue and David with hugs, which made us feel right at home! I consider myself an organized person and a planner however Dan really took the lead on everything. There were so many details that I hadn't thought of in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding but Dan was there! He was on top of anything and everything that needed to get done (even fluffing my dress for pictures the day of). From the option to have some alone time right after our ceremony to take it all in with a drink and appetizer, to ideas from Thaddeus for our signature drinks, the staff members at Valley View were always there to offer their fantastic suggestions. They were available via email, text, or phone anytime we had a quick question or needed to talk longer and make sure the whole day was planned out in detail. The collaboration with our vendors was much appreciated as well. We did have a miscommunication with details of the bar, however Thaddeus and the team worked with us to come to an amicable solution. The grounds are beautiful and there is a little bit of everything (orchards, sunflower fields, horses, barns, woods, etc.). We received many compliments in regards to our wedding and definitely recommend Valley View!

I grew up in Northampton and had given up hope on being able to get married in my hometown until Valley View opened. I had my wedding in August and it was absolutely perfect in every way it could be. The venue and team is a unique combination of a high end full service luxury venue while also being completely customizable and personal. Despite the fact that our wedding was on a Saturday and there were weddings on the Friday before and Sunday after, I felt like that had been planning all year for just our wedding. The pictures don’t do the venue justice. There are hidden spots all over the property for photos and experiences that you can only see once you’re really there. The pavilion and barn were perfect locations for our ceremony and reception and the patio is a breathtaking location for the cocktail reception. In the year and a half from when we signed our contract and our wedding day they had made many improvements (that they barely needed) and I know they have no plans on stopping. I’m almost a little jealous of everyone who is coming after us! The bar program is something our guests just will not stop talking about. They have gone out of their way to make sure the bar is customizable and caters to all kinds of guests. Our specialty cocktails were designed for us specifically based on what we told them we like—it was an unbelievable perk! There is so much that can be said about the venue and benefits of the property but the real highlight is the team. I’ve been planning major events in Massachusetts for about 10 years and this is hands down the best event team I’ve ever worked with. They provide you with everything you need to be successful on your wedding day from detailed spreadsheets and to do lists, endless lists of potential vendors, and invaluable advice. Our coordinator was Dan and he was beyond words incredible. He was honest and collaborative, patient and creative. He made me feel at ease and entertained from the beginning and allowed me to completely let go and enjoy the day. That was the greatest wedding gift we received. I wish I could keep this incredible place all to myself, but it’s too good not to share—if you are thinking about getting married at valley view, think no more. You won’t find a better place or group of people.

I grew up in Northampton and had given up hope on being able to get married in my hometown until Valley View opened. I had my wedding in August and it was absolutely perfect in every way it could be. The venue and team is a unique combination of a high end full service luxury venue while also being completely customizable and personal. Despite the fact that our wedding was on a Saturday and there were weddings on the Friday before and Sunday after, I felt like that had been planning all year for just our wedding. The pictures don’t do the venue justice. There are hidden spots all over the property for photos and experiences that you can only see once you’re really there. Perfection!!We had our wedding at Valley View Farm on a Friday in July 2019. From the moment we stepped onto the property we knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding. From the gorgeous barn for the reception to the picturesque landscape – it was like a dream! Throughout the entire process we were constantly reminded what a good decision it was. They were thoughtful, pleasant, fun, and most of all sincere in making sure that every detail was taken into consideration and that we didn’t have to think about anything that day and could just concentrate on enjoying it. Dan was fantastic as our coordinator on the actual day of the wedding. I honestly can’t say enough about how he made sure we had the most perfect day – and we did. Every detail was planned flawlessly - vendors were coordinated, the schedule was adhered to, everyone was where they should have been at the right time, and most of all everyone had a wonderful time. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was that so many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they ever attended! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Valley View Farm – you will be “overwhelmed”!

We could write a novel about everything that we love about VVF but for the sake of our review we’ll keep this short! It all began for us after a tour of the farm when we quickly realized no other venue was going to have quite the same unique magic or as fun planners to work with. After setting a date we received access to a google doc which was so helpful In staying organized. As our date got closer we met with Alex and Dan, who were the best at taking in all of our ideas and helping us to realize them within VVF. This was also when we met the owner, Suzy who was so kind and welcoming while sharing the history of the barn with us. All of the planners were so responsive leading up to our wedding day and truly made us feel like we were their only wedding, when of course that was not the case!We took full advantage of VVF’s list of preferred vendors and were delighted to have food, and entertainment our guests raved about. Our rehearsal day was expertly conducted by both Michelle, and Alex and gave us peace of mind for the next day knowing they knew exactly how to pull off a seamless ceremony for us. Arriving to VVF the day of was made so exciting by seeing our names beautifully calligraphed by Michelle on the chalkboard. Having the Love Nest for the bridal party and the Sugar House for the groom and company to head to upon arrival was such a treat. Both locations are picturesque for getting-ready photos with distinct character you can’t find elsewhere. Michelle and Alex were always ten steps ahead keeping us on schedule and being right there with essentials like pins for boutonnières or even something smaller like a mint after the father of the groom decided to have his first cigarette in 30 years. Our first look was a once in a lifetime, incredible moment for us that was so beautifully coordinated by Michelle, and Alex. It was made all the more practical with use of the golf carts to get way out to the spot we chose in a nice little clearing of a wooded area. The Hemenway Barn looked like a dream for our ceremony with long flowing white curtains at every beam. We so appreciated Michelle and Alex helping us get the most bang for our buck out of our florals by moving a few pieces from the ceremony to the reception where they could be on display for the whole night. Maybe it was just because it was our wedding day, but the drinks the bartenders were making were seriously so delicious and all looked super cute and fun. They also made sure to have enough bartenders working that there was never more than a three person line for a drink. Michelle and Alex made us feel so special by having our signature cocktails ready for us right after we had our recessional while we could hear the recessional song behind us with that just married feeling! We chose to take pictures with the wedding party and sparklers outside at sunset and Michelle was right there lighting them up for us! We closed out the night dancing in the Yellow Barn which has the perfect amount of space so that guests were neither crammed too tightly or spread out too far. We chose to rent the Farmhouse and the Apple House for the night which was so nice to be able to take it all in with our friends and family without having to go anywhere. We may have not been brief in our review after all, but that is only because we are so in love with everything and everyone at Valley View Farm!!

Valleyview Farm is truly a gem. As Mother of the groom I could not have wished for a more authentic, beautiful setting for my son and his fiancée to have a wedding. Alex and Michelle attend to every detail, leading to less stress. The setting is laid back yet the attention to detail and the setting could not be topped. The farmhouses on grounds allowed us and the wedding party to stay local and wake up to this beautiful farm. You can even get your eggs for breakfast from the on site chickens! If you’re planning a wedding this is a must venue to check out. Once there I am sure your decision will be made.

There is simply no other place to consider hosting a wedding than Valley View Farm. After driving in past the swimming hole, venturing up the drive way, and passing the farm house and sugarhouse, when you see the yellow barn atop the hill surrounded by gorgeous landscapes, you will know and you will feel it too. Suzy, Michelle, Alex, Dan, and the rest of the gracious staff at valley View Farm are not only attentive to every single detail but so comfortable to work with. You feel apart of the VVF family when you’re there. During the planning process we were blown away by their prompt and effective communication to help every need and question. Despite the hottest day Michelle, Suzy, Alex, and Teri remained cool and calm and reassured every moment to its perfection. They added misters to the outside bar area the day before to fight the extreme heat and humidity. Our guests were overwhelmed by the service, views, and property as well. The entire process was so incredibly wonderful and we cannot thank VVF enough for helping to preserve a beautiful day that we will remember forever.

Where do I even begin! Valley View Farm was me and my husbands first and last stop in our search for the perfect wedding venue, way back in January 2018. Fast forward to June of 2019 and it was the venue for our amazing wedding. David gave us the grand tour (his passion and love for the farm really sold it for us!), and Suzy went above and beyond in keeping in touch throughout the planning of our wedding. The staff at Valley View is beyond amazing. I mostly worked with Dan and Alex, who were both tremendous. They both constantly checked in, and helped with the planning process. Thank goodness for them, because there are definitely details that would have fell to the wayside, had it not been for them. Dan made the day of the wedding flow seamlessly. When I say as the bride I didn’t have to think about anything but enjoying myself day of, I’m not exaggerating. Dan was always ten steps ahead and had everything ready to go! They really think of everything. My husband and I could not be happier with our choice to get married at Valley View Farm! Can we do it all over again?!

We had such an amazing wedding thanks to the Valley View staff and the beautiful venue! We got so many compliments from our guests who enjoyed being able to dance inside the Yellow Barn and wander the grounds and sit by the fire pits outside. The ability to host the ceremony under the covered pavilion was also a great way to have the outdoor, scenic ceremony that I had always imagined while protecting guests from the hot sun. It all made for such a memorable and unique wedding experience. The staff was also incredibly helpful and personable throughout the planning process and they truly guided us along the way. We appreciated their vendor recommendations and help setting the timeline. The staff helped make our wedding go off without a hitch and it went better than we could have imagined. We would highly recommend Valley View Farm!

Meet the Valley View Farm Team
Suzy & David (Owner) Suzy grew up in New York City on Park Avenue where she joined her family who have been working in the the wedding business for four generations. Her husband, David, grew up down the road from Valley View Farm, never knowing that someday that farm up on the hill would be his. He is a third generation farmer and maple sugar maker who started boiling sap when he was ten. Together they have created a secluded wedding destination where his rustic utility and her sophisticated sensibility court one another.
