Located in Kaukauna, WI, Van Abel's of Hollandtown is a wedding venue that has been hosting the greater Fox Valley and Green Bay's Milestone events for over 70 years. This team's event coordinators assist each couple's planning needs to realize their vision. Van Abel's of Hollandtown has three event spaces, including a sizable and well-stocked bar area. This venue can host celebrations for groups of between 250 and more than 500 guests. Rounds and rows of tables are available, along with decorating packages to make sure everything fits a couple's tastes. Uniformed staff will be on hand to attend to guests and to cut cake. Guests can also make use of abundant and well-lit parking as well as a shuttle service with a select provider.

What an excellent caterer to have for your wedding! We hired Van Abel's to cater the food at our daughter's wedding and it was wonderful!! This vendor goes out of their way to do an excellent job. The food was excelent and served hot on site I highly recommend! Thank you Van Abel's for making this part of our daughter's wedding so seemless.

The setup, staff, and food was AMAZING! I knew since I was a kid that I wanted my wedding reception to be at Van Abel’s. I was not disappointed by my choice one bit. The day was a complete dream come true for my husband and I! Our family and friends had an absolute blast!

Everything up to the day was amazing! Patty was fantastic and so easy to work with. On the day wasn’t great. We paid extra for them to serve the food and it was clear the on site staff had no idea since they ran to put on glives and serve after I announced due to COVID we had them serving. So then no one served water because they weren’t staff for serving even though I paid extra for it. I also paid extra for the china package but I wouldnt recommend it. It was nice plates, silverwear, etc but since they had to take it with them, they rushed to clear it and took people’s full glasses of water away after being late to get them out. Just seemed like they were in a rush to get out. Food was fantastic and dropping off the linens the next day was easy. Overall pretty good but not great.

Patty was a delight to work with from start to finish. Super nice and prompt on the emails. We had chicken and ham with the usual sides (baked beans, dressing, potatoes/gravy, buns, and pasta salad served buffet style. We had mult lines going and everything ran smoothly. Let me tell you, we had so many compliments on the food, it was AMAZING! We were even told that someone snuck into the fridge later in the evening and was eating the chicken!! Seriously, great tasting food and you can't beat the price for the quantity and quality.

We booked Van Abel's as the food caterer for our September 2018 wedding, as they came recommended by our venue. Patty was great to work with, and was very responsive to any questions or updates I had. They have a good variety of food options, and we selected the broasted chicken and tenderloin tips for our dinner, and several hot and cold options for hors d'oeuvres. The pricing was comparative to the other options we had considered. We had arranged a tasting appointment for four, and they provided many options and in good proportions. We left confidant that the food would be good at our wedding. The hors d'oeuvres went over really well. The meatballs were delicious, and by far, my favorite. We had the dinner served family style for the head and family tables, and then buffet for the other guests. Dinner was very good as well, and many guests went up for seconds of the chicken. They had proportions planned well, as we didn't have too many leftovers. We had a few meals of the leftovers following the wedding, and very little went to waste. We would highly recommend Van Abel's for catering needs.

This place has been making chicken for a very long time, it is well worth that wait and you get soon much food you could easily feed a family of 6 with the amount they give you for a chicken dinner. My wife and I had our recpetion here recently everything went so well. We had the pleasure of meeting with Chris Coenan who went over all the details with booking the hall. The thing that sold us the most was the size of the private bar that goes along with booking of the hall. We had around 220 guest planned on attending so we needed plenty of bartenders and staff and they did not disappoint. anytime we had questions or concerns Chris was very quick in responding and answering all of our questions.Thank You everyone at Van Abel's for helping make my day so special.

Van Abels could not have possibly made our day go more smoothly. Planning a wedding is so stressful, and Joan was quick to answer all of my emails with answers to any questions I had, whether they were about the venue or wedding planning in general. I love the laid back feel of Van Abels and the food is to die for. We had multiple spills on the dance floor and someone was always there with a smile to clean it up right away. I would give Joan and her staff a million stars if I could!

Van Abels could not have possibly made our day go more smoothly. We are beyond happy with the Catering Van Abel's did for our wedding in October 2015! My Husband and I live in Milwaukee but made the decision to get married in Green Bay, which made planning a wedding challenging. We picked Van Abel's without tasting the food. I was confident in the quality as the restaurant has been around for decades, however, I was also realistic with the fact that wedding food is usually just OKAY and that when replicating a dish for 200 people, it is never going to be great. Or at least, that is what I thought before I tried Van Abel’s on our wedding day! The food was AMAZING! We had broasted chicken, tenderloin tips, garlic mashed potatoes, etc etc. It was DELICIOUS and we received many compliments on it. I even had a guest tell me later that they were all trying the green beans trying to figure out what was on them so they could recreate the recipe at home! Van Abel’s was able to work with me needing most of the food prepared gluten free, and was able to work with my guests who had nut and tree nut allergies. We were even able to take home the leftovers and eat them the few days we had at home before we left for our honeymoon. And to be clear, we had leftovers because guests who RSVPd didn’t show up, not because they did not portion correctly. Overall I would give them an A+ and recommend them to anyone! I've been coming to this supper club for almost all of my life, and I was THRILLED with it as a venue for our wedding reception! The food (as usual) is excellent. I had several guests come and tell me it was the best chicken they'd ever had in their lives, which I completely agree with. The all-you-can-eat family style meal is ideal for a large wedding.\r\rThe waitstaff and bartenders were efficient and friendly, which I'm sure was a challenge for over 300 guests. Chris (our event coordinator at Van Abels) made sure everything went off without a hitch to make our day perfect.\r\rOverall, the venue is the perfect setup for a reception...A huge open space for everyone to dance, plus more than enough space/tables surrounding the north bar for people to gather and chat.\r\rUltimately, I couldn't say enough wonderful things about Van Abels. We got so much more than what we paid for, and having the perfect wedding reception was priceless!\r

Great food local establishment that knows how to handle wedding receptions. Reasonably priced food and drinks as well.;Be prepared to answer a lot of questions for the staff (# of guests menu list etc...). Also even though there is a signed contract prices are not frozen to the time of the contract.
