Rustic & Elegant Event Venue with Modern Perks
Vennebu Hill is one of the newest facilities (est. 2018) to join the wedding venue scene in Wisconsin. Vennebu Hill was designed as a unique, rustic, elegant, and Norwegian-inspired Wisconsin wedding venue with beautiful views and unique event spaces. Vennebu Hill guests enjoy the privacy of a secluded venue that resides on a hill overlooking the Baraboo Bluffs and Wisconsin River while only being minutes from the excitement of Wisconsin Dells. The venue offers year-round weddings & events in two main indoor event spaces that seat up to 325 people (maximum), parking, two bridal prep suites, an elevator, full kitchen, and a large patio for cocktail hour. The ceremony locations are separate from dining and cocktail space, therefore, guests can enjoy the âseamless transitionsâ intentionally designed for our guests. Included in your exclusive rental: ceremony chairs (setup), AV equipment, sound system, crossback chairs for dining, dining rounds with 90"x90" linen tablecloths, linen napkins, placesettings, water tumblers, carafes, bulb lighting, use of support tables and cocktail tables, and a beautiful full bar (staffed). We cannot say enough wonderful things about Vennebu Hill and the amazing staff. We worked with Mark, Bethanie, Liz and the wait/bar staff and everyone was INCREDIBLE and made our day completely flawless. We had so many comments about how beautiful our venue was and how kind and friendly the staff was. During dinner, the food was hot, was served quickly, and was absolutely delicious! So many wonderful comments about the dinner from guests as well.We highly recommend Vennebu Hill - we had the most magical, flawless day and wish that for every couple looking for their perfect venue!

Vennebu Hill couldn't have been more perfect for our wedding day. The outdoor ceremony space, indoor barn ceremony space, the cocktail hour patio.. everything was beautiful! We worked with Bethanie throughout the planning process who was very responsive and always made sure our questions were answered. They were very accommodating on all of our ideas and really made our vision come to life. When our wedding day came and it was raining, they checked in with us multiple times and we ended up moving our ceremony inside. This ended up being one of the best decisions we made. Our guests couldn't stop telling us how beautiful the space was!

Vennebu Hill couldn't have been more perfect for our wedding day. The outdoor ceremony space, indoor barn ceremony space, the cocktail hour patio.. everything was beautiful! We worked with Bethanie throughout the planning process who was very responsive and always made sure our questions were answered. They were very accommodating on all of our ideas and really made our vision come to life. When our wedding day came and it was raining, they checked in with us multiple times and we ended up moving our ceremony inside. This ended up being one of the best decisions we made. Our guests couldn't stop telling us how beautiful the space was!

We cannot recommend Vennebu Hill enough as a wedding venue. Our original tour and contact was with Mark, who was kind and willing to answer all of our questions. The majority of our planning occurred with Bethanie who was absolutely amazing to work with. She was prompt in her replies when we had questions, willing to work with some of our unique requests, and offered recommendations. We were hoping for an outdoor ceremony, but when our day proved to be a bit hot, we were SO happy Bethanie suggested we consider the indoor barn area instead. It was definitely the right choice for our guests and us! The venue itself is simply stunning, even with minimal decoration. We had our dance outside, which was a fun environment for guests to relax and enjoy themselves. We received compliments on the food - especially the mushroom risotto. There are flexible bar package options depending on your budget. If you are considering Vennebu Hill, we cannot recommend enough. When it comes to weddings - they absolutely know what theyâre doing! Thank you Vennebu Hill!!

Bethanie and Mark are the BEST. They dealt with our wild wedding like it was nothing. They are so organized, kind, and they want to make your day all about you and what you want. I honestly donât even know if we had any issues on our wedding day because they dealt with everything. Bethanie is great at giving advice for how to approach an idea and will give you constructive criticism on how to make the day run smoothly. They were the absolute best and I couldnât recommend Vennebu more. We received so many compliments on the beauty of the place, the friendliness of the staff, and how delicious the food was.

Vennebu Hill is an amazingly beautiful wedding venue. I am a planner/coordinator for Creative Joy Event Solutions and recently had a couple get married at Vennebu Hill. Their planning team is unmatched, they have character, integrity, and are incredibly hard workers. My team arrived to begin set up of our couple's personal decor and Vennebu Hill's team had done an incredible job prepping for us. They continued to provide excellent assistance throughout the day and evening as well. I cannot recommend this venue enough - brides and grooms - do your coordinator a favor and go with Vennebu Hill!

We had our wedding at Vennebu Hill a few weeks ago, and have still not stopped receiving compliments about how beautiful it is! We booked it before it was even finished being built and it turned out better than we ever could have imagined. Katie is so great to work with, always willing to answer any and all questions, and she and her team handled everything perfectly on the day of. It was so nice to not have to worry about renting all the different linens, tables, chairs, silverware, glassware, etc., they take care of all of it for you! They really run an awesome and comprehensive operation! I hope everyone is lucky enough to at least attend a wedding here!!

I am so happy we decided to host our wedding at Vennebu Hill! The views are amazing, the reception space is beautiful, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Katie was quick to answer our many (many) questions, and made sure the whole event went off without a hitch. The highlight for me was our outdoor ceremony, which was visited by a butterfly, squirrel and deer that bounded through the fields behind us! This venue is a very special place.

There are not enough words in the world to explain how perfect Vennebu hill is. When we say perfect, we mean ALL of it is perfect. From the view, the staff, the chandelier, the tables, the dĂ©cor, the bar... ALL of it! We booked Vennebu hill in the beginning stages of it being built. When we booked, it was back in January where Katie had met us in the cold with a binder of what the vision was. I knew INSTANTLY that this is where I was going to be married â many people laughed at me asking, âyou got married somewhere that you didnât even see?â I will admit, it was a big leap of faith but it was the best leap we have ever taken and one that has turned into a memory that will last forever. From the beginning stages, to the middle, to the final stage, Katie was there for the ride supporting us and answering all and every question a bride and groom have to ask. Katie is every brideâs dream as she is there to reassure, support, and answer all that you need leading up to your day as well as the day of. On the day of, she was there ready to go ensuring that our day was perfect. It was evident she wanted our day to go as perfectly as we did! The next day, we met Katie back at the venue to pack up and as she helped us finalize and pack everything up, she was also getting ready for another event (she is truly wonder woman). It took us about 20 minutes to say goodbye and leave the venue as we got THAT attached to her, her staff, and the venue! We still have guests asking us about Vennebu Hill and how we got so lucky. The views were breathtaking, the venue and details inside and outside are unbelievable, and the staff made all of us feel so welcome and taken care of. For a side note for all couples, our dream was to have a wedding outside (which we did end up doing due to great weather!). We loved the views of an outdoor ceremony but what we even loved more was the fact that if the weather didnât cooperate, the inside was just as beautiful. I do not know any other venue where you can say your plan A and plan B are JUST as good! They were both amazing! I still donât know how we got so lucky to have this amazing venue on our wedding day and we also donât know how we got even luckier to work with Katie and her staff at this venue. We truly and whole heartedly hope that every couple gets as lucky as we did and gets married here. It was the best decision we have ever made.

We live out of state and she always tried to make herself available when we wanted to make last minute trips to see the facility. If she wasn't available she would send someone else. She understood my nervous out-of-state bride vibes.On our snowy April 27th wedding day, Katie and her team found time to check in and make sure our bride-tourage was doing okay. Katie even found a frame for a poster that was gifted to us the night before! My heart skipped a beat when she showed me. The thought and heart that has been put into Vennebu is unreal. We knew as soon as we saw the property Vennebu was the perfect place for our \"Wisconsin\" wedding but to hear our guests talk over and over about how breathtaking the venue was yet how comfortable they were is priceless. We first saw the venue when it was in the beginning stages of being built, but the venue managers and the amazing view completely sold us. The overall process was still being figured out, but by the end we had the most amazing, perfect day. The venue is absolutely stunning and all the guests could not stop gushing about how beautiful it was. From overlooking the river and trees at the outdoor ceremony site, to the lighting and details in the dining area, to the incredible chandelier in the barn area, you donât need many decorations to make this place shine, it does that on itâs own. The attentiveness and creativity by the staff on the day of completely put me at ease, and everything went so smoothly (or at least I didnât notice!). I canât recommend this place enough if youâre looking for an upscale, elegant place with a rustic, homey, personal feel.

Katie Klitzke (Events Director) Hi! I am the person you'll likely be working with if you decide that Vennebu Hill is the right fit for your wedding day! My husband, Brook & I, usually both work the events ensuring the venue is clean, staffed, linens are on dining tables, place settings, and water service is ready to go! While we are not wedding planners, per se, we will do everything in our power to make your day go easier and full of joy!We juggle life running this new business with a sweet, precocious 4-year-old named Margo. I am a former science teacher and marketing & graphic designer, now turned entrepreneur.
