Venue 132 is an intimate and upscale wedding venue located in Dowagiac, MI. The building dates back to the late 1800s and has been restored into a stunning event space ideal for your wedding celebrations. Owners Brian and Michelle Milnamow renovated the space to keep its original charm while adding modern amenities. They want you to feel at home in the place as you celebrate your big day. Host up to 100 guests in the 1,850-square-foot space. Its original 14-foot tin ceiling, brick walls, and hardwood floors have all been restored, and it has a warm and inviting feel. The space features high ceilings feature stunning dimmable chandeliers. There are comfortable seating areas and two cozy electric fireplaces where guests can sit and relax. The original design elements, with the addition of modern amenities, give the space a distinct feel. It also features a dry bar and a warming kitchen providing everything you need to throw your perfect event. There are also two ADA-accessible restrooms. Venue 132 offers a range of flexible rental packages to choose from. Tables and black Chiavari chairs to seat your guests are included in the basic package. Further, the option of black or white linens and dinnerware is available with the Deluxe package, while The Premiere package includes all that and further use of sound and lighting equipment as well as a projector. Beautiful, flexible space in a charming small town. The brick walls lend lots of character. The added mirrors, stained glass and chandeliers give it a casual elegance. Michelle was wonderful to work with.

I could not speak highly enough Venue 132 and the owner, Michelle. From start to finish Michelle made sure to accommodate us and make planning our event as simple as possible. The venue has so much character and we got so many compliments on how beautiful the event space during our wedding reception open house that we hosted there. Michelle is so flexible and will do everything in her power to help your vision come to life. Throughout the wedding planning process, this was the easiest vendor to work with and we would recommend this venue to anyone!

We had our wedding reception at Venue 132. Michelle was fantastic to work with and very accommodating. The space is beautiful and she did an amazing job setting it up as we requested. There are many amenities included and everything went smoothly. We would happily use this venue again for future events and would recommend this to anyone for weddings and events.

Meet the Venue 132 Team
Brian and Michelle Milnamow (Owner) Brian and I have been married for 31 years and have 2 grown children. We fell in love with the charming little town of Dowagiac and purchased the building in 2019. Renovations began right away. Discovering the beauty underneath was amazing! I have always enjoyed entertaining and party planning and thought this would be the perfect spot for others to use for their celebrations! We opened as a party venue in January of 2022 and hosted 35 successful events, 4 of those being weddings. So far, 2023 has 4 weddings booked....not too shabby for our first year! Let me help to make your day perfect!
