We got married in June 2023- and it was literally the dreamiest venue! Everything was perfect, we knew it was our spot from the first visit! The nature, view, indoor/outdoor options, the suites… Venue 5126 was definitely the right choice, and accommodated all of our requests (even if some odd). Couldn’t be more grateful that they made our day feel like movie magic :)

The first time we toured this venue we knew it was gonna happen here! It's been 2 months since our wedding but everything felt like yesterday. The barn and field was absolutely beautiful, very well maintained and the team are super friendly and efficient. They made the wedding planning so organized and smooth that we would 1000% recommend! We didn't have to find any vendor by ourself beside photographer because they had everything, so easy! Thank you all SO much to make my dream day come true. Special thanks to Kristen, Alyssa and Annie who made the day so smooth. Thank you Hannah for all the floral and the most beautiful bouquet in the world!

Everything about this venue is perfection!Kristen and Alyssa were the best and made our day so special. With our budget, we could not afford a videographer but Alyssa with the amount of work she does going around capturing 2 minute videos of your day made it so special. Thank you to this venue for everything you did!! We got countless amount of compliments and everyone had so much fun. If you’re thinking about booking - just do it!!

Finding Venue 5126 was the biggest blessing of our wedding planning experience. Planning a wedding seems like such a daunting task, but the team at Venue 5126 made it a breeze! I actually enjoyed the process of wedding planning! Kristen and Annie were amazing with helping me make sure our day was perfectly planned down to the tiniest details, with decor, and the flow of the day. I was also so nervous about the floral situation, and then they made their team even more amazing by bringing in Hannah, who made even the floral planning a breeze and enjoyable! She’s the best! The venue itself is stunning, our out of town guests are still talking about how beautiful and lush the grounds were, and even had some guests from California wanting to move to Illinois because of the beauty! Again, the best decision I made when planning our wedding was picking Venue 5126, our day was perfect and I owe it all to them. They are a truly talented and lovely bunch.

This team is OUTSTANDING in every way, shape and form. Our wedding day was the most magical day of our lives, and I cannot thank these ladies enough. Down to the in-house florist (Hannah.... you made my floral dreams come true!!!)to our wedding coordinator, Kristen... you made everything so seamless and easy. I cannot recommend these PEOPLE and this venue enough!! My friends and family have not stopped talking about that day and how perfect the venue was. It was everything we ever wanted.

We loved everything about Venue 5126! Our wedding was booked since January 2022 and the whole team at the venue was with us every step of the way. The in-house florist and styling team did an amazing job bringing our vision to life! Having the option to get ready in the bridal suite also makes everything so convenient. Everyone who works at Venue 5126 are kind, positive individuals who do everything possible to make your special day perfect! Venue 5126 was everything we imagined and more. The feeling of peace, privacy, celebration, and love was what we experienced the first moment we walked onto the property, and the same exact, if not better way we felt on our BIG DAY! We loved the convenience of vendors and options connected to our venue that made planning a breeze. Using in house stylist, decor, coordinator, florist, and catering made decisions and organization so flawless. Every single person we encountered throughout our experience with Venue 5126 was genuine, caring, thoughtful, and as excited for our big day as we were! The pride they have in the experience they are creating for a couple feels so unique and real, it makes supporting a family and local business well worth it! We cannot say enough about the upkeep and beauty of the property. The owners put so much work into making their Venue different, yet upscale, homey, yet classic, and it all feels so real once your big day comes to life. The communication up to our wedding day was perfect. Someone always responded about catering questions, decorations information, day of time line, and any other zillion questions we had about planning. Both of our families visited Venue 5126 and were welcomed and treated as special as we were. They could see right away why we chose Venue 5126. Hannah and Kristin made decision making so incredibly easy with guidance and suggestions. They understood our vision and personality and they let this shine through on our special day. Kris and Dave made sure we were happy and excited on every visit we made to Venue during the planning stages. Then, on the day of our wedding, they were there, working every scene and event to make sure everything went seamless and that we enjoyed ourselves! Everyone made sure that we didn't need to worry about anything, they had it covered! Alyssa took amazing videos and pics to share immediately and her energy to take the nerves off was just perfect!We truly cannot say enough about Venue 5126 and the joy and love we felt throughout the entire Wedding Process. What's not to LOVE about Venue 5126! We had our sights set on a destination wedding but decided to visit a venue close to our house. And we are beyond grateful that we did! From the first moment we stepped on this gorgeous property, we fell in love. Not only were we overwhelmed by the beautiful scenery, but the rustic vibes of the barn and the intimacy of the tent surpassed all expectations we had for what we wanted our wedding celebration to be centered around. The Venue 5126 staff were always available to meet with us throughout the entire planning process and made the experience both seamless and enjoyable. The entire team was able to capture our vision and create an experience on our Wedding Day that was personalized to the smallest detail! We still cannot get over how amazing everything turned out and it is a tribute to the entire Venue 5126 staff. If you are wanting to create the wedding of your dreams, Venue 5126 is the place! We were married on 10/8/23 and our guests are still raving about their experience....many want to renew their vows and choose Venue 5126 to put on the celebration!

What to say if not absolute perfection!We fell in love with Venue 5126 the moment we toured it, and booked it immediately! We loved that they have different options for your ceremony, both indoor and outdoor. We chose the pergola, where we also had our last private dance, and could not have for a more perfect spot to have our ceremony!The team is amazing, and everyone works so well with each other. Having in-house florist, stylist and day-of coordinator made all the difference. Kristen, Hannah and Annie worked together and made the whole process so easy and stress free. They literally took care of everything and surpassed even our best expectations. Our special day was absolute perfection and we have to thank the Venue 5126 team for that.The catering company they work with was also incredible. We had a lot of guests with different dietary restrictions and Sue at MyChef was so patient and helped us figure what the best option for everyone was. And the food was delicious! We also booked the photo booth and the pizza truck and they were both a success.We had a such great time that at the end of the night we were sad the day was over.Could not recommend Venue 5126 enough!

We got married at Venue 5126 in October 2023. Our experience was absolutely wonderful! The venue is stunning and provides an \"all-inclusive\" approach to wedding planning. We loved working with the styling team which allowed us to rent decor and also bring in our own items to add a personal touch. We also utilized the floral team through Venue 5126 and the recommended DJ which made for a very seamless event, as all the vendors worked together well. Kristen made our entire experience feel stress free as she handles pretty much all the detail planning and coordinating with our vendors leading up to the big day. The billings team was also great with communicating billing deadlines. I also loved that the owners are very hands on and involved in the process and making your day perfect. I cannot recommend this venue and their amazing team enough!

They were so professional, responded to any concerns or issues immediately. The day of the wedding they are very hands on and everyone raved about My Chef Catering. Venue 5126 is the dreamiest venue I have ever seen. This venue was the first and only venue we looked at. As soon as we got out of our car, we knew this is where we would get married. Kristen and Annie made planning our perfect day seamless and stress free. Not only did we have the time of our lives, our guest did, as well. We’ve received so many compliments about our wedding and it is the wedding to beat! Since then, many friends have reached out to find out where we got married and have booked their special day with Venue 5126! It truly is a one stop shop wedding venue that will make all of your dreams come to life. The space is spacious and accommodating to all types of guests. I wish we could celebrate there every year!!

My husband and I got married at Venue 5126 in August of 2022. The entire process with the Venue 5126 team was amazing and we could not recommend this venue enough. Kristen helped us from the moment we inquired about the venue all the way up until when the DJ stopped playing music and the lights were turned on the night of our wedding. Annie, the stylist, helped make decisions to pull our whole vision together - if we chose table numbers that didn't quite fit the rest of our decor, then she was sure to just double check that's what we wanted, for one example. Kristen kept all nerves at bay and was truly a dream to work with. It was great to know that any help or recommendations needed, we had someone to go to throughout the whole process. Thank you to the entire Venue 5126 team for making our day better than we could have ever imagined!!!

We had our wedding at Venue 5126 in June and it was beautiful! Kristen and the team were all so helpful and kind. All of the details were planned perfectly and intentionally. The dinner tent was gorgeous and having the ceremony and reception at the same place was perfect for our wedding. The sunset over the field was beautiful! Our guests loved the remote setting and the barn - we had rain on our wedding day but still plenty of spots to take pictures. The patio was so fun and we had an ice cream truck which was so fun! Overall, we highly recommend Venue 5126 for your wedding day!

We just had our wedding in May 2022 at Venue 5126 and it was the most PERFECT wedding venue and we have so many reasons why but I will list just a few of them here.First off, Kristen makes wedding planning so easy and is so on top of every detail. The is THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Also, I would definitely recommend their styling services because Annie is also THE ABSOLUTE BEST to work with and she made it the most beautiful day ever. Words can't describe how much I loved having my wedding at Venue 5126. Everything was so beautiful and so easy I did not have a single worry or anything to think about on my wedding day. Did I also mention that the venue is gorgeous? Amazing food and catering. So many cool add-ons like late night pizza, smores, etc. And all of the preferred vendors work together like family and know the space inside and out. So in summary, venue5126 is THE ABSOLUTE BEST and they made sure that I had the best day of my life!!!!!!

We had our wedding here in November 2021 after having to postpone due to COVID. It was the most PERFECT day. I worked with Kristen and she helped me with all the small details and made everything go so smoothly. We had so many guests raving about how much they loved our wedding and how unique our venue was. I will warn you that it's VERY pricy, however, I do think it was worth every penny we spent. We got a lot of things for the price.

We held our wedding here on 10/17/21. It was the second venue we had toured and we loved everything about it! We wanted a fall wedding and the outside space was perfect for our ceremony. The beautiful barn and tent were great spaces for our coffee “cocktail” hour and brunch buffet. Kristen was our coordinator and was extremely helpful through the entire planning process! We also booked our catering and desserts through them and everyone loved our food. The venue is beautiful all on its own, but it’s also a fun space to add your own decor for your big day. Over two months later and we still have guests talking about our wedding! We couldn’t have done it without the team at Emerson. Book your wedding here!

Last weekend was beautiful! All of our guests could not stop talking about how magical and amazing the whole venue was. They made sure we had the wedding we envisioned and more, Kristen was so patient even after the million emails I sent her. She made sure everything will go smoothly. Staff especially the styling team was phenomenal! They added a couple of things to the details I wanted and made sure it will go well together to the theme I wanted to create. I will definitely recommend them. The food at the restaurant for our rehearsal dinner was amazing as well! We are forever grateful, they made our special day extra special

I hate to write this but I would encourage anyone considering this venue to think twice, especially summer brides. You can get more for your money and a better experience elsewhere.Until our wedding day, all went smoothly. We were led to believe when we paid an extra $1,000 for air conditioning that it would cover the whole venue, not one portion. We discovered on our 93 degree day that only the banquet tent had air conditioning. The ceremony and dance (2/3 of the night) were in sweltering conditions. The venue did not even turn on the air in the banquet tent until the ceremony began leaving it minimally cool to say the least.Summer brides beware the heat! Many elderly guests had a very difficult time and had to leave early. Emerson needs to air condition the barn as well as their tent. Fans made no difference for the heat.In addition to the lack of air quality, We were also told we would have the extra food, donuts, and desserts boxed for us to take home. None of that was done even though at least 3 dozen donuts were left at 11:00 P.M. and our parents were told they were currently boxing up the food when they requested it.Sadly, Emerson did not even touch base with us in the following days or weeks to see if all went well. It was clear after the final payment was made that they did not care one way or another if our experience was satisfactory. We are, therefore, left to a Google review which I hope everyone considers.

The minute we walked into Emerson Creek, we knew that we had found our wedding venue. We wanted an elegant barn vibe and Emerson is truly the best around. Not only is the venue space unique, gorgeous, and spacious, the Emerson Creek staff is incredible. Kristen, the day of coordinator, is organized, kind, and made the day go perfectly smooth. Her coordination leading up to the day was invaluable. The styling team is AMAZING. Emerson has so many beautiful spaces to decorate and has countless rentals to make it beautiful. Jessica, Molly, and Kaitlin truly went above and beyond to help create the vision I wanted for the space. I had a blast at my styling meeting with Jessica and Kaitlin. I will always remember how supportive and calming Molly was right before my first look with my husband-she helped make the moment natural and special!! We had a donut wall and ordered a 3 tier cake for our desserts through the Emerson bakery-all delicious!! Emerson uses My Chef for catering. Sue is the sweetest woman and helped guide us towards an incredible dinner. The food is so good!!! Our guests could not stop raving about how much they loved our venue and nor could we. Emerson Creek will always have a special place in our hearts, and we cannot wait to come in for lunch and visit!! Thank you everyone for making our special day flawless, beautiful, and so special <3

There's a reason why Emerson Creek has a nearly perfect rating on The Knot; it's a unique, gorgeous venue and the team there are true professionals. Kristen, the day-of coordinator was wonderful to work with. Her communication was timely and clear; after our meetings she would provide an emailed summary including a list of what she needed from us. We were clear on what to expect at each stage of the planning. She was also great about looping us in on any questions or concerns she received from our vendors. The day-of, she did an incredible job of coordinating the stylists, MyChef and our vendors which made the day stress-free for us.We opted to have styling done by the team at Emerson Creek as well. The members of the styling team clearly love what they do; they were able to take some of our unique requests and make them look absolutely beautiful. At points when I got overwhelmed with decisions, they were great about jumping in with suggestions. The communication from the Styling team was also very strong; after we made all of the decisions they sent us a detailed breakdown of the decor for each area and what we were to provide and what we were renting from the styling boutique. This made planning and organizing incredibly easy for us. The staff at Emerson Creek was outstanding the day of. Everyone was friendly to us and our guests. We had to move the ceremony and change some seating arrangements at the last minute; the team jumped into action with smiles on their faces to accommodate us. Everything ran so smoothly during cocktail hour, dinner and at the bar all evening. Later during the dancing portion when some of the guests and the DJ started to get a little rowdy, they politely asked us to reign it in. So many of our guests commented on how this was the best wedding they'd ever been to. We may be partial but we'd have to agree. We are so grateful to Emerson Creek for making our day so amazing and memorable.

It saddens me to write this but I feel the need to share with others. Our wedding was suppose to be on 8/8/2020 but due to Covid that was not posable so we reschedule to the following year in August. We had to cancel our wedding because we had a lot of family with underling health condition like diabetes, cancer, and transplants. Due to that we canceled our wedding a little over 6 months in advance (when Covid restrictions were still in place). We already paid for half the wedding. However, Emerson Creek would not give us our money back at all. I understand we would not get the retainer money back but I thought we would get some of the other money back but unfortunately we got nothing and lost it all. It’s hard enough trying to deal with a pandemic and I understand they were hurting for money to but to take someone money that didn’t have a wedding they're at all was sad.

I don't even know where to start. If I can give Emerson Creek 10 stars I would. We found Emerson Creek at the end of 2018 with our date to be summer of 2020. Unfortunately, we were one of the unlucky couples that had to postpone our wedding to 2021. Going into 2021, we were unsure what to expect, but Kristen and the staff were amazing and made the planning seamless, despite having to halt planning a year before. We were blessed to have the perfect wedding day! I was pleasantly shocked at how beautiful everything came together. The styling team did an amazing job perfect for our day. Kristen was amazing as our coordinator during the process and especially during the day of. She had everything in place and there was no thought on our end. We received so many compliments on the venue and also the staff working the event. I learned that Emerson is a family run business and my guests took note of that and really appreciated the family feel not of the venue itself but also the people working there.I would highly recommend this place for a wedding. The venue is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the staff is amazing!We are looking forward to going back once their restaurant is opened.

This venue is a dream. This team is unlike any other. The keen attention to detail had all of our guests floored. We had multiple guests tell us that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Emerson Creek is unique in the sense that it is spacious and has plenty of room for your guests to spread out and mingle while still feeling like they are involved in every special moment that comes with a wedding celebration. By choosing to get married at Emerson Creek, we were able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception all on site. Kristen was a dream to work with and kept everything flowing seamlessly throughout the wedding planning process. We cannot say enough great things about the styling team either. Our wedding looked like it came off of a Pintrest board and we wouldn't have changed a thing. To everyone at Emerson Creek, Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality!

We had the best experience here! Kristen, the day of coordinator, was essential to our wedding day and truly is the reason we are giving them a 5 star review. The services she provides to make the day go smoothly are like no other. She is in really great communication with her couples and makes sure day of things go well!The venue itself is just gorgeous and really was a dream come true day of our wedding. Depending on your budget, you can rent from them or style yourself. We went the style yourself option, but if you are really wanting to do things up they have a great selection of rentals that you can take a look at on their website.The food was also good, mychef did an amazing job and was super great about getting me and my groom fed night of the wedding. We also went with a few other Emerson creek recommended vendors and not a single one of them dissappointed!

What can I say? Emerson Creek gave my husband and I our dream day, our dream wedding. A day that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We didn't have to worry about a thing because Emerson creek took such great care of us from beginning to end. On top of that, I was a bride majorly affected by the pandemic. Kristen and all of the EC team, worked closely with me to reschedule my wedding THREE times and managed to remain calm and encouraging while I felt my day was never going to happen. Emerson Creek was recommended to us by a different venue that was no longer available on our wedding day. Little did we know it would end up being a blessing in disguise. As a result of Covid-19 my now husband and I were forced to change our venue only a few short months before our wedding. From our very first meeting with Elizabeth, we knew this was meant to be our new venue. Emerson made everything so easy for us with the little time we had left to re-plan our wedding. Lisa and Kristen especially were both a huge help to us! Although everyone we met at Emerson was always so helpful, friendly, and genuinely excited for us to have our special day. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding venue. To this day we still have friends and family telling us how much of great time they had at our wedding at how Emerson Creek is a hidden gem. You will not regret booking with Emerson. We cannot wait to visit this beautiful place in the future!

Choosing Emerson Creek as our wedding venue was the absolute best decision we could have made. We knew from the first time we stepped foot on the property that it was where we wanted to say \"I do\". The grounds are just beautiful and the way that it looks all lit up at night is purely magical with the Edison light bulbs twinkling against the big sky. The owners Chris and Dave were so gracious in planning and accommodating with us when covid hit and did everything they could to give us our perfect day - and they absolutely did. Lisa, our stylist took all of our ideas and did a stunning job of putting it all together. Hands down the best part of the experience was being able to work with Kristen, Emerson's coordinator. Kristen was so knowledgeable and organized in getting everything ready for our big day, and as the bride I didn't have to worry about a thing. She walked us through every single step of the process and was there to answer any and all of our questions as they came up. If I could hire her for all of my events I would! I am getting choked up thinking of how perfect our day was with Emerson, and we cannot thank the entire Emerson team enough for making our dreams come true.

We had to switch wedding venues due to COVID-19 and we decided to move our wedding to Emerson Creek a month before our new day. They were SO kind and accommodating and made replanning a wedding in such a short time so easy. They were so positive and helpful in the midst of our panic. We felt like they genuinely wanted to help us have our perfect day despite so many changes. We met with our coordinator, Kristen, only once and she was incredible and so organized. She was so great the day of and took care of everything so we didn’t have to worry about details - even something as small as making sure we had the drinks we wanted at our seats when the bar closed for dinner. The rest of the staff were so kind the day of, helping things run smoothly. We truly are so grateful for our experience at Emerson Creek. It blew all of the other venues we previously visited (including the one we originally booked) out of the water. The barn and tent were so beautiful. The field we were able to have our ceremony in was so beautiful. and that patio!! It was amazing with the most perfect sunset and the view of the field was perfect for our bride/groom portraits. Our guests were blown away at how wonderful it was. We feel so lucky to have found Emerson Creek and that we were able to have our wedding the day we wanted to postpone to there. There isn’t a more beautiful place or staff!!!

Emerson Creek was a dream come true for our wedding day! The venue exceeded our expectations and the staff was fabulous! They felt like family but were so professional in every area! Kristen (our day of coordinator) was certain to make the day run smoothly and without any issues. Lisa, our stylist, made the venue look fantastic and even added little touches to make it personal! It was beautiful! Tina made our cake and took care of our sweets bar and it was a huge hit! She even added a touch of yellow flowers to the chocolate covered strawberries to look like our sunflower theme! We used props like the hitch for late night pizza and the VW bus for the photo booth and our guests were in awe! It was so much fun and creative! EC did not disappoint in any way! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a dream wedding. If I could do this day again, I wouldn’t change a thing! Thanks EC for the best day of our lives!

I truly could not have wished for a more perfect venue to celebrate the best day of our lives. I would recommend Emerson Creek to any couple looking for an ideal wedding venue. Emerson Creek was our DREAM wedding venue and it lived up to every expectation on our big day! The staff at EC is phenomenal- all around. Kristen, the day of coordinator, was so organized with quick replies at all times- she made the whole wedding planning process much less stressful! Molly, the venue stylist, was so easy to work with and oh-so talented by putting our wedding vision to life! Sue, from My Chef Catering, was heaven sent. She was the sweetest and we really enjoyed working with her! Everyone working for this venue made us feel like the priority and really aimed to go above and beyond for what we wanted for our wedding day. The grounds and venue is beautiful- SO unique! All of our guests were blown away and could not stop complimenting the venue/ our wedding the whole night and they still continue to do so :) It was the perfect day. Highly recommend this venue- it is truly worth every penny!

Emerson Creek is the absolute best wedding venue you could possibly go with. I cannot even begin to say how truly amazing the EC staff was from the moment we booked our date to the day of our wedding. They made the planning process so easy and took care of everything, leaving you no room to worry about forgotten details. Kristen, Molly, Evan and the whole EC team were so unbelievably helpful, sweet, professional and timely the day of the wedding as well, it was as if they were part of our wedding guests right there along with our friends and family. I can honestly call them family at this point, I just adore them. Not only is the team wonderful, the venue is just BEAUTIFUL. The barn, the field, the ceremony locations, everything was just PERFECT and far surpassed our dreams for a wedding venue. So many of our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue was, how great the food was (shout out to MyChef Catering too!), how professional the staff was, etc. My husband and I talk about how perfect our wedding was daily because of Emerson Creek. You honestly do not have to look any further, just book them, ASAP. You won't regret it :)

I honestly can say, it is not possible to have a bad wedding at Emerson Creek! The venue is absolutely gorgeous! There are multiple options to have your ceremony, and I loved knowing that if there was bad weather, the barn ceremony would be just as gorgeous as the other options. The set up of the venue gives your guests so many fun options of things to do throughout the night, you can hang out in the barn and dance, or take a break sitting on the patio outside having a late night snack or s’mores. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I had the opportunity to talk to the owners multiple times, they love getting to know their couples! Kristen was such a fantastic coordinator- she really makes you feel confident the day will go smooth, and Molly is so talented her decorating skills are amazing ! Sue and the staff at my chef did an amazing job too! I don’t know their names, but all the bar tenders and other staff at Emerson worked so hard and were so kind! One woman even sprinted to the bridal coop to get my bouquet that I forgot before I was about to walk down the aisle ! I had so many guests compliment that it was a 10/10 wedding ! All the vendors Emerson recommends are exceptional as well! The day couldn’t have been more perfect! I’m obsessed and wish I could relive it over and over !

All of our guest without exception were full of compliments about the total service Emerson Creek Wedding events provided us. Thank you for all your support and commitment to the day.The initial dialogue and planning process with Kristen and Molly (Stylist), was professional with a true interest in making the dinner and reception flawless. The entire evening went so well. The final set up of the venue for dinner and reception looked stunning. It was truly nice to arrive at Emerson Creek and instantly know everything was under control.Kristen, from years of hosting weddings at Emerson Creek, knows their event space very well. She knew what worked and what may not come off as well as we were thinking. Additionally, they were flexible, allowing us to supplement what was already there with our own design and décor in the tent and barn area. Molly was extremely receptive to our styling the tent and barn, with additional rental items from Emerson Creek added. Including items that needed painting to match theme.Excellent balance and terrific synergy from Kristen (Emerson Creek Weddings) and Sue Jacobs (My Chef catering). Working with the two of them was seamless and that is attributed to their experience and knowledge of what does work for the Emerson Creek venue!Finally, Kristen and John (Onsite Manager) that night, especially made us feel like they were completely in control. The entire Emerson Creek staff were professional, non-obtrusive and kept behind the scene so that the bridal party and guests were the most important priority that evening. I cannot say enough good things about Emerson Creek. As our venue search began, we were quickly disappointed in many of the venues we initially visited, as they were in a hurry to show us around, give us a listing of available dates, and hurry us off to meet their next appointment. Our first meeting with Emerson was incredibly different. They welcomed us at the first initial meeting like family, and asked us questions about what we wanted our wedding day to be. It was not a rushed \"in and out\" meeting, but a thorough, heartfelt discussion about Emerson as a venue, as well as what we were looking for. I knew from the first meeting that we would be in great hands, and I was right! Emerson is run like a well-oiled machine. The owners, the stylists, and Kristen all work together with the couples to ensure that each and every detail is covered and taken care of. I could not have been more relaxed on my wedding day, as I knew that nothing would go wrong due to the team at Emerson. It has been two weeks since our wedding, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was, how GREAT the food was, and how much they loved the venue. I would recommend Emerson as wedding venue to everyone and anyone I meet! Thank you so much for making our day so perfect!

Emerson Creek is literally a picture perfect venue, we had compliments all night long about how amazing everything looked and felt. From first contact to the day after, everyone at Emerson made sure that our day was perfect. We worked with Kayleigh to sign the venue and her sweet personality made us realize we made the right decision. Once we were closer to the date, we worked close with Kristen, the day of coordinator. She ensured that every single detail went according to schedule and was so easy to work with, you can tell she does this for a living! Every communication was timely and detailed. The week of, I had no questions or concerns, everything was wrapped up nicely. Tina, our stylist, was a dream to work with as well. She made the place look a Pinterest board. Not a single thing went wrong and the whole wedding was an absolute fantasy. We are so happy with Emerson Creek and wish we could replay the day over and over!

We looked at quite a few of the others, but none came close to the comfort we felt with the Emerson Creek team, and the magic that was created a few weeks ago at our wedding. Things to consider that I really appreciated in retrospect: the ceremony space options are far off the main road, so no road noise. Kristen is an incredible day-of coordinator, and the team of Stylists will take your details and create you a space that feels personal and beautiful. Everyone we encountered from the Tea Room staff to the awesome guys that set up the dining room were happy to be there, and happy to help us. During the evening, absolutely everything was taken care of, and no detail was spared. I didn't worry about a thing that night; I was able to simply focus on feeling the pure joy every bride wants to feel on their day. And yeah, I lucked out with the weather - there were literally freaking rainbows over the pergola during our ceremony - so consider your time of year, but if vintage/rustic/barn (and we added 1920's Prohibition/Harry Potter to that mix) wedding is what you want, this is your place. P.S. Take pictures in the Gazebo - you won't regret it.

We spent a lot of time looking for a wedding venue that was perfect for us. The bride really wanted a barn wedding but we were struggling to find the right one. Emerson Creek stood out to us. The venue itself is beautiful, featuring a barn that wouldn't need a single extra decoration if the client desired (we did decorate quite a bit however). Further, Emerson includes many things in their wedding package that many other venues dont. They include a day of coordinator, they include tables, chairs, and linens (with some good color options). They work with MyChef (an amazing catering company) and include the MyChef pricing in their price to reduce confusing and juggling. They have their own design team you can choose from if you desire. There team is very accommodating and it is clear they aimed to specialize in weddings.A feature we didn't realize how much we would enjoy was the patio. As our wedding night went on we noticed the dance floor was pretty quiet. We quickly figured out why! Our friends and family were out on the patio. As with many families, they don't get to be together like this very often and were really enjoying that they had somewhere a bit quieter (compared to the dance floor) to talk and enjoy eachothers company. But don't be discouraged! they barn and dance floor were a fantastic place to cut a rug!

My wife and I were married here in the summer of 2018. Overall we were very happy with the venue despite some shortcomings. The barn, tent, tearoom and grounds are nothing special by themselves, but the level of detail when it comes to the event decorations and upkeep really show how much pride these people have in their business. The patio is beautiful, and the way they have converted the barn into a warm and inviting event space works wonderfully. The decorators they contract with are stellar and incredibly helpful when it comes to setup and design advice.The issues that we had were few, but considering the price of the venue I would have expected fewer headaches. That same attention to detail shows in a negative way when it comes to the level of accommodation to the client’s personal preferences and restrictions. Options for the event schedule, vendors, etc. are quite limited, and any deviation from their “recommendations” is bound to cause frustration. I get it, they have a business to run, and having three weddings per weekend in the summer months is much easier to coordinate if every client has the same basic timeline. But the penalties for last-minute changes and having people still at the venue past midnight, not to mention trying to tailor the day around their (strict) liability rules, added a level of stress to the already stressful task of planning a wedding.To illustrate my point, despite the microscopic attention to detail, somehow there was a missing chair at the head table (four place settings, three chairs) and the decorative shutters behind my wife and I fell on top of us during one of the toasts. Neither of these things were a big deal, but it just goes to show that you can be as particular as you want; unplanned things are going to happen anyway. All things considered our experience on the day of was wonderful, and we would absolutely recommend EC for a wedding venue. These people care about what they do and they will make sure your day is one to remember!

Having our wedding at Emerson Creek was such an amazing blessing. (wedding 6/29/18)The venue is beautiful, the staff gracious and accommodating, the catering company wonderful. The list goes on and on!We were looking for 1) a venue that fit us, our personality and style 2) a low stress venue. Not only did this fit our criteria, but it surpassed it!Planning a wedding includes many details and some that you may not think of! Kristen, the event coordinator, made sure that everything was taking care of in a timely and kind manner during the pre wedding process. The day of the wedding, everything flowed so well, and any hiccups (which might have been one and had to do with an outside vendor) Kristen managed that very well without needing to bother us during our special day.The rentals and stylists were a pleasure to work with. There and so many lovely rentals to choose from and Amy, our stylists, covered every detail and made the venue absolutely stunning!Thank you so very much, from the bottom of our hearts!

As a newly engaged person looking for a venue, there’s a certain expectation to be treated special because you’re planning a wedding! Then you realize that every wedding event planner is dealing with dozens of other people just like you. Some of them make you feel like one of a dozen, but not Emerson. For our first tour, we were immediately hugged upon arrival and treated like friends. Anyone else we passed along the way introduced themselves too. We felt right at home. The tour was wonderful and got us very excited about the venue (gorgeous!). I remember leaving in tears because I could picture getting married there so clearly! We chose to make our payments in person, so we always tried to schedule our visits around an Emerson event. We met the stylists this way and we were sold! They were excited and enthusiastic and they’d break down at the end of the night. :)After the multiple casual visits, we finally had our first visit with the day of coordinator (Kristen) and stylist (Lara). Kristen really helped keep us on track logistically. She was supportive when we had no clue what an answer should be, and helped us build up our vision of the wedding.Lara was so great at putting the vague ideas we had into something concrete and realistic. We absolutely love the rustic feel of Emerson, but thought it brought all the “rustic” styling we needed- so we chose to play up the elegance instead of the rustic. Lara was the perfect person to partner with on this task! She had an eye for exactly what we wanted.On the day of the wedding, I was blown away at the decor- between Lara and my florist, everything was picture perfect and was better than what I had envisioned. Not a single person bothered me with silly questions- because Kristen was there to absorb it all. Emerson Creek is spectacular! Our coordinator, Kristen, and her staff went above and beyond our wildest dreams! It was absolutely amazing! Lara, our stylist, had an amazing vision and brought every detail to life. Everyone talked about how absolutely stunning everything was! We loved everything! The ECE staff were fantastic throughout the day! They were so attentive and just wonderful!!!! The My Chef team, the food... oh the food was DELICIOUS! It was perfect!!!!! We truly loved our venue for a day we will remember forever.

Emerson Creek was the perfect setting for our fairytale wedding. The venue itself is beautiful and the staff are fantastic. Our guests are still talking about how unique and fun our venue choice was! We were able to work with Kristen as our day of planner and Lara as our stylist. They both did wonderful jobs at executing the wedding of my dreams. I am so thankful that we decided to have our wedding at Emerson Creek and would not hesitate to recommend this venue!

Emerson creek is a PERFECT wedding venue! The staff is amazing and so helpful. The venue itself is so beautiful - we only needed very minimal decorations because its so beautiful itself and every single one of our wedding guests commented on how amazing the venue is. The space is so seamless, with the cocktail hour just steps away from the ceremony site and the outdoor space for people to sit in if they don't feel like dancing. And so many places to take beautiful pictures! Just SO SO amazing!

You could not ask for a better wedding venue than Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom. Everything about this place is absolute perfection. I am a bride who dreamed about her perfect wedding since she was a little girl, and Emerson Creek helped to make all my dreams come true.The venue is stunning and unique. We did not want a typical ballroom wedding because it is just not the type of couple my husband and I are. In our search, we looked for places with both inside and outside options. As a bride, it was such a comfort knowing that Emerson Creek had a back up plan in case of inclement weather. You never know what you are going to get in October in Illinois! We were married on a perfect fall day. My hours and hours of prayer had been answered, and God was faithful! It was 75 degrees and sunny, and the pond at Emerson Creek was the most beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We worked with Kristen as our event coordinator and Tina as our stylist, and having this team was the greatest investment. Kristen always made me feel at ease and was a great go-to person for the vendors. No detail was unimportant to her, and I felt like our entire event was in good hands. I HIGHLY recommend the use of an Emerson Creek stylist. Kristen and Tina helped to map out of day and were there the day of to make sure that everything ran smoothly. Both were quick to answer emails, and were very knowledgeable and helpful in the wedding planning process. Emerson Creek has a variety of rentals and I am so grateful to have been able to work with Tina to make our wedding perfect. Emerson Creek’s barn was exactly how I pictured our wedding: a place where people could feel at home and comfortable celebrating. We had the barn doors open so people could take in the stunning sunset views on the farm, had pew and couch seating so people could sit and talk, and we had décor that was a nod to who we are as a couple with little touches of home in every nook and cranny. When I walked in to see the venue I literally cried tears of joy. The staff at Emerson Creek got it all right. That picture I had in my mind for years was a reality. Emerson Creek uses MyChef catering as their caterer. This was another huge blessing in my opinion, as I have been using MyChef as our caterer at my work events for years. The Emerson Creek Staff and the MyChef staff work seamlessly together to make the event run smoothly, and people LOVED our menu. I was so grateful to have options, and to have a team that works together regularly to help things go as planned. If we could do it all again, I would do it all the same. My husband and I were THRILLED with our wedding at Emerson Creek. As a bride in her 30’s, I have been to a lot of weddings. My friends have been to a lot of weddings. And I must tell you the number of compliments we received regarding the venue and the staff were numerous. Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom is truly a fairytale venue, and I am so grateful to have had the privilege of marrying the man of my dreams there.

From the second we stepped on the property we were made to feel at home. If you are looking for a unique and rustic venue for your wedding this is the place to choose. Food is catered though a company called MyChef out of Naperville and was exceptional. You do have to find your own liquor for this venue, however use their recommended vendor BJ. He is both an extremely reasonably priced but will bring more over if you run out for some reason at the wedding. If you have special liquor requests BJ will find it and make it happen for your day. We decided to hire one of their coordinators, Lara to help with designing the many available spaces. Their services are worth every penny! She went out of her way to make every inch of the property come alive with our vision. Don't miss an opportunity to have a wedding that could be heralded by family and friends as \"The best ever!\"

The moment I pulled onto the lot I called my then fiance and told him Emerson Creek was where we would get married. It was absolutely love at first sight and it has since become one of our favorite places to stop by and visit for lunch or on market days. Our wedding was October 6th and it was everything we wanted it to be. As many others have said in their reviews, several guests came up to us and told us that the wedding was one of the best they've ever been to. Kristen, the day of coordinator, and Tina our stylistic were fantastic. We could not have done it without them, they were always available to answer questions, and let us relax knowing everything was under control the day of. We are so glad we chose Emerson Creek and we look forward to all of our future visits to the tearoom.

My husband and I are so thankful that we found Emerson Creek for our wedding. It was love at first sight for us - the venue in its raw form alone is gorgeous with the built-ins and chandeliers in the barn, and I can't even describe in words how amazing it was once our wedding decor was in (thanks to Lara, our EC stylist, who is absolutely amazing and a doll to work with). Many guests told us that with no exaggeration it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I got married less than a month ago and can't wait to go back to Emerson Creek for lunch/just to visit because I miss it so much already! No one could possibly be disappointed with this venue.

Let me just start by saying Emerson Creek was the venue of our dreams! Our wedding day was better than we could have ever hoped for. The amazing staff treated us like family from the moment we walked into their office. Kayleigh, the sales director, gave us a tour of the grounds and won us over within 5 minutes. For the next year and a half she would be the first big piece of our wedding puzzle. If I had a dollar for every question she answered I would never have to work again! We then signed our contract with Melissa who is the Jack of all trades. She handled our signing process, all the finances, and was the best bartender around! Lara and Tina were in charge of styling, bringing my wedding vision to life, and boy did they! They are such creative women, with the most bubbly and enjoyable personalities! Catering was handled for us with Sue at MyChef. She was so thorough during our meetings, down to the color and placement of each napkin. I couldn't have been more confident in the presentation of our event. Did I mention the food was absolutely delicious! Last, but certainly not least, we were provided the most incredible wedding coordinator - Kristen. She was with us every step of the way. Her communication, organization, and professionalism were off the charts! I have never trusted someone as much as I trusted her to handle such an important day in our lives. I could go on for days, but to put it simply, each member of the Emerson Creek team made sure everything was taken care of for us, just the way we wanted. Not to mention, I (along with anyone I've spoken to) believe it is the most gorgeous wedding venue in the Chicagoland area. Thank you Chris, Dave and family for hosting the best day of our lives! Outside of our wedding - They hosted my bridal shower (where I was approached by many) saying it was the best shower they have ever attended. They have the most delicious food, the cutest country decor, and the friendliest staff members. We had our Rehearsal Dinner on site as well, which was so convenient for the wedding party. Karen the restaurant manager was beyond accommodating, we can't thank her enough. The best thing about having your wedding at Emerson Creek is you can continue going back to enjoy a place that is so special to you. You can visit the Tearoom restaurant for a fresh lunch, and I just love checking their new menu every week! They also host monthly themed vintage markets where you can shop for items from local vendors while enjoying the scenery. Emerson Creek is the most beautiful and magical place to have a wedding. Our guests have told us they are still in awe of the venue and all the charm Emerson Creek offers. The staff is FABULOUS and our wedding coordinator Kristen, made the day run seamlessly and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We worked with the stylists and Tina went above and beyond to make our décor fit our vision. She even made custom pieces that we will now have for life. Meeting with her for our styling appointments was my favorite part of wedding planning. My husband and I wish we could go back and re-live our wedding day over and over. I cannot thank Emerson Creek and staff enough for coordinating our wedding day! It was truly more than we could have ever hoped for.

We had our wedding here on 7/8/17 and I could not be happier that we picked Emerson Creek for our special day. We fell in love with the beautiful venue the first time we saw it. Our guests were a little skeptical that they would have to drive an hour and a half from Chicago but throughout the reception, they kept coming up to me and saying that they completely understood as soon as they got there. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful it was and it was definitely worth the drive. Kristen, our day of coordinator, was so helpful and accommodating and really helped reduce my stress both before and on the day of our wedding. We feel so lucky that we found Emerson Creek for this important day of our lives!

If you are looking for a unique, rustic and charming wedding reception venue, Emerson Creek has what you need! We had our wedding reception there in May and it could not have been more perfect. We were really going for a unique, laid back country vibe for our reception and they certainly delivered. The whole staff was easy to work with and amenable to our vision for the big day. We are now two months out from our wedding and we still get comments daily about how much fun our guests had at our reception. From the catering to the decorating and styling to the advice to the overall setting, it was spot on. We couldn't have been more thrilled with how it all turned out. If ever there was a venue that let you make it your own, it's Emerson creek! My fiancé and I just got married 05/27/2017 and it was magical! They truly do care about your wedding and want every detail to be as perfect as possible. For starters, our first viewing of the property was in December of 2015 and we fell in love! We met the owners that day who were both just working around the property and they were so kind! There's something to be said about an incredibly successful family run business. (Bonus, they have an adorable dog that just wants love and pets). I was never stressed while in the hands of their event coordinator Kristen and stylists Lara and Tina. My mind was always at ease and their positive energy made it that way. The venue, although set in the middle of a farm atmosphere, had a gorgeous view from the back patio of land and backroads. I could go on forever but I highly recommend this venue to all brides! It may be a barn, but it can be anything you want it to be. Thank you Emerson Creek team for giving me the best day of my life.

Emerson Creek was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding. We fell in love at first site! While the price seems a bit scary, Emerson provides a lot of services that make it worth it. Our wedding coordinator Kristen was amazing. She helped us with our planning all the way through, and was there the day of our wedding to make sure everything went flawlessly. I visited Emerson Creek many times over the year I spent planning my wedding, and every time I did I felt like I was home. The staff is beyond amazing, they all treat you like family. The venue itself is gorgeous, and offers you options on where to have your ceremony. We also used Joanna's services to help style and set up the day of the wedding. It was so helpful to not have to worry about a thing. Emerson also provides you with a list of their \"preferred vendors\" which I found to be extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Emerson Creek as a wedding venue.

Emerson Creek deserves 1000 stars. Being a same-sex couple, my wife and I were nervous about choosing a venue and vendors because we didn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable, and we certainly didn't want to feel uncomfortable on our wedding day. After an awful experience with the first barn venue we visited, we decided we would check out Emerson next. We were immediately taken a-back by the breathtaking beauty of the venue. We were SPEECHLESS as we wandered through, taking it all in. I think what really sold us, though, was the people. The owners Chris and Dave are the most amazing people. They made us feel at home immediately and all the bad memories of other venues disappeared. We put down our deposit that day and didn't look back. The staff at Emerson is AMAZING. Our coordinator Kristen was wonderful. She is super organized, and always made sure we were taken care of. Sue from My Chef (Emerson's caterer) is one of our favorite people in the world. She is such a sweet woman and we are so glad we got to work with her. We also feel extremely thankful that we were able to work with Emerson's stylist, Joanna, of Joanna Goss Designs. Her work is BEAUTIFUL and she made our wedding look like something out of a magazine. Everyone on staff at Emerson became like a part of our family and now that our wedding is over I will truly miss hanging out with these wonderful people! Even vendors that we hired separately commented on how everyone there was so nice to work with. Over all, Emerson Creek made our dream wedding into a reality. We feel extremely grateful that we were able to start our life together somewhere so wonderful. Thank you Chris, Dave, Kristen, Joanna and everyone at Emerson for making our day so special, and thank you for welcoming us with open arms into the Emerson family. We love you guys! See you soon for lunch at the tearoom and maybe at the next vintage market :)

I wish I could give Emerson Creek more than 5 starts. This venue could not be any more perfect. Whatever your wedding style - elegant, shabby chic, casually simple, vintage, rustic, anything you choose - Emerson Creek will not disappoint. From the very beginning, the staff at Emerson was helpful and completely attentive to details. Our wedding coordinator, Kristen, paid attention to even the most tiniest of details - thinking of and suggesting ideas that we never would have imagined to make our day perfect. The on-site staff the day of the wedding was precise and meticulous...yet, they were unnoticeable by the guests and blending in effortlessly - they were each pleasant and helpful. I cant say enough about how charming this place is - our pictures are amazing. The grounds and the barn are a perfect setting for a romantic wedding. I wish I could do it all over again to enjoy the day one more time! And their caterer - oh my goodness - people are still raving about the food. Love, love, love this place. Emerson Creek gave my husband and I a fabulous wedding celebration. I cant wait to go back to enjoy our anniversaries and special occasions at the Tea Room - its a place we can go back to again and again to relive our perfect day...

We could not have been more pleased + grateful to have picked Emerson Creek for our dream wedding! Everything about the venue, experience + staff was more than we could have asked for! There are a few specific people/aspects of Emerson that I would love to point out.1. Your day of the event coordinator - SO HELPFUL! We were blessed to have Nichole be our day of the event planner and she was always on her game! From answering countless emails for months preparing for the wedding, our-meet ups to go through the wedding plan + her assistance for the rehearsal and day of - Nichole was incredible! Her support, direction and sweet spirit really helped us to have a sense of ease and released so much stress throughout the process. 2. MyChef- DELICIOUS + ORGANIZED! We originally felt a little nervous choosing a venue without trying the food - but those concerns ended up being pointless!! Sue (our support through MyChef) was super thorough and kind!! The tasting that MyChef sets up is such a treat, and all of their options are fantastic! I don't think you could go wrong with any of their dishes, but their were also enough options to pick based off of preference, etc. We received so many compliments on the food at our wedding - and a HUGE thank you to Sue for being always on point, helpful, approachable + seriously the sweetest!! 3. Joanna- HIRE HER! The fact that Emerson offers rentals allows the planning process to be SO much easier, but hiring Joanna was the best additional expense we made our entire wedding planning process!! Joanna truly helped us come up with our vision of our dream wedding, then collaborated with us + did exactly what was needed to make that vision become a reality. Walking into the venue being decorated by Joanna with our special touches changed the space from a venue to our wedding + it brought us to tears. I'm so grateful Emerson has the option to incorporate Joanna in your wedding process and REALLY recommend including her in your wedding planning process! I don't think I could recommend Emerson Creek enough!!

Very rude! If you want a place that makes you feel special, look somewhere else. Although we didn't book with them (because of this) all correspondence with them was absolutely dreadful. The emails were not personable at all and no one answered any of my questions or even offered to check date availability for me. I booked a tour anyway because the venue was so beautiful. They had the audacity to send me a nasty text because I was FIVE MINUTES LATE (the venue is an hour and a half from my home!) telling me not to waste their time if I wasn't going to show up. I turned around and went right home, that was the very last straw for me. The place is incredibly beautiful but as far as customer service, you are definitely not getting what you pay for, especially at $130 per plate.

My wedding couldn't have been this perfect at any other venue. Emerson Creek was amazing in every way. My husband and I fell in love with this place the first time we visited to check it out. It also happened to be the first place we looked into, and we never looked anywhere else because we didn't need to. \r\rThe land is beautiful--from the large tranquil pond, the gazebo in the lawn, the renovated barn with the chandeliers, long vintage curtains, and romantic lighting, the spacious white tent, the big tree we were married in front of, and the view behind us--it is simply perfect. \r\rNot only is it beautiful, but the owners and their staff are beyond helpful. They are friendly and accommodating and truly do everything they can to make your day perfect. Even though their business has grown and they are very busy in the summer, they still make you feel special and make sure you know you are a priority. \r\rMy coordinator, Nichole O. was a Godsend. She kept in contact with me leading up to our wedding day and never kept me waiting for a response. The day of our rehearsal and our wedding, she made sure everything ran smoothly and had everyone in their places. By the end, we felt like she was a part of our wedding party! I highly recommend her to anyone getting married here. \r\rThe are currently in the process of adding an on-site catering kitchen so that all food can be prepared on-site, but in the meantime they have a catering partner that services the receptions and they were still AMAZING. We got nothing but compliments about the food. (I will be leaving a separtate review for the caterer, My Chef Catering, Susan Jacobs). \r\rLastly, the way they do the bar service is AWESOME. Basically, you purchase a dram shop insurance policy, there is a minimal charge per person to cover drinkware, mixers, and bartenders, and you purchase the liquor yourself. This saved us a lot of money. We purchased a keg, wine, and liquor from Binny's and were able to return anything that wasn't opened.

Emerson Creek couldn't have been a more perfect location for our wedding. The setting is rustic in a beautiful natural setting with shabby chic decor. They take barn weddings to a whole new level and I wouldn't have changed anything. Our ceremony location was outside and was beautiful. The girls enjoyed getting ready in the beautiful repurposed chicken coop, and the guys enjoyed getting ready in the tearoom and relaxing outside. Every guest at the party commented on how beautiful the location was. The reason we knew it was for us is because when you drive up you start to wonder where in the world you are at, but every door you open and each area you step into you are so magnificently surprised. It is a magical setting and we definitely found a treasure in our venue. We would highly recommend it for any event.

As soon as I stepped onto their property I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. They have only been doing weddings for 2 years now and their popularity has been growing. Chris and Dave the owners got married in the barn too. They were so helpful and friendly. I was given a wedding coordinator to work with, but she was NOT helpful at all. My mom and I did most of the work. They ended up scheduling an event the night before my wedding so I didn't end up having a rehearsal at all. They failed to call me and let me know. Cindy did show day of and everything ran smoothly for the most part day of which is what counts. Overall I had a great experience with the venue and still would recommend them.

Soon after we got engaged, we took a look inside our barn and had a vision of our family and friends laughing and celebrating, watching the sun set over the fields, and music and laughter filling the air. It was then that we knew where we wanted to be married. Over the next 2 years, we stripped the dirt and debris from the barn, hung vintage chandeliers, and added the stone patio to make this dream come true. In the fall of 2010, we were wed at Venue 5126. We have now celebrated the commitments and marriages of many couples and could not be happier to share in the joy of their special day!
