Verde River Golf & Social Club is an ideal special events and wedding venue for those seeking a stunning private event space with dramatic views of the surrounding Tonto National Forest. Perched on a plateau that overlooks a breathtaking backdrop of the Mazatzal mountains and the prominent Four Peaks landmark, we are perfectly suited to accommodate large celebrations and unforgettable intimate events. This spectacular venue boasts three different event spaces for weddings and events. Begin the night before your wedding day by hosting an intimate rehearsal dinner for 12 at the Chef's Table. Once you have rested and are ready for the big day, you will thrill your guests with the picturesque views of the Mazatzal Mountains during your outdoor ceremony. The Ceremony Lawn can hold up to 140 guests theater style, perfect for your ceremony. You and your guests will then move indoors to the Verde River Events Center for your reception dinner. This space is decorated to reflect the southwestern region and the natural beauty surrounding the Verde River Golf & Social Club. The team will take care of every need you may have, with an in-house wedding coordinator available to help you with every aspect of the wedding, from tabletops all the way to menus; they are there to bring your dream wedding to life. The Verde River takes care of all your catering and bar needs, meaning you can trust your guests to be delighted with delicious and unique dishes. A cake-cutting service is available as part of the catering package. Verde River is absolutely breathtaking for a wedding venue! We had our ceremony on Four Peaks Lawn, over-looking the Four Peaks mountains. Our cocktail hour began right as the sun was setting over the mountains which was absolutely stunning. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous every detail of the the venue was. We had between 150-160 guests which fit great on the patio area for our reception. We had our tables outside of the event center, which allowed us to have a live band and dance floor inside. We hired a day-of coordinator that worked side-by-side with Marianna, the venue’s coordinator. Initially we were concerned with the venue’s location, being about 25 minutes away from downtown Scottsdale, which is where we had our host hotels - but our guests had zero issues with the commute. Once they arrived and saw the picturesque views they were in awe. We are so pleased with how everything turned out. Highly recommend!

We booked this venue for our wedding and it was BEYOND our expectations. The staff, especially Marianna, are incredibly knowledgeable, communicative, flexible, and kind. The food and dessert is to die for! The wait and bar staff are so sweet and attentive. We were able to book a space for a bridal suite, which is helpful for getting ready since there is not lodging on site. We felt cared for and heard during our whole planning process. During the big day, we never felt rushed or misinformed. Everything was as we planned it and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!🖤

My husband and I are SO GRATEFUL we had our wedding at Verde River...we went to tour a LOT of Arizona venues and this one is absolutely a hidden treasure. One of my last minute requests was changing the tableclothes to royal blue after my online order turned out to be a scam...Shannon went out of her way to make it happen! As a bride who spent an insane amount of time creating lots of DIY decor and planning a detailed timeline, we are so incredibly happy with how everything got executed by Verde River and owe so much to them and Shannon for our amazing wedding experience!

Thank you to Shannon and her team at Verde River Golf and Social Club for the spectacularly magnificent wedding venue for my son and daughter-in-law's recent spring wedding! One could not ask for a more majestic desert backdrop as they exchanged vows on the stunning Mazatzal Lawn. Then guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks (even signature cocktails named after the bride and groom's dogs) before transitioning inside to a dazzling sit down dinner reception. Everyone raved about the food - especially the beef tenderloin! The servers were attentive and efficient. Shannon helped the bride and groom make critical decisions along the way to develop a custom package for the event. She was very prompt and thorough with her emails and phone calls. You could not ask for a better point person - she gave 110%! Without a doubt, I highly recommend Shannon and Verde River GSC to anyone looking for an awesome venue with great customer service. We were married here on 3/18/22 and I’ll start with the pros - the venue itself is gorgeous! There are so many incredible places for photos and your guests will be blown away by the landscape. We also loved having our dining tables inside and dance floor/bar outside. The food is outstanding (we went with the short rib and chicken). Our guests could not stop talking about how good their meals were and the dessert bar was excellent. I also have to say this is one of the best values in the area. The price for site rental and food was very reasonable, but keep in mind it is 30 mins away from Scottsdale so it’s likely you will need transportation for your guests if you have a lot from out of town. They also have a great spa where we had our mani/pedis the day before and our hair/makeup done the day of.Now the cons - we booked the venue in January 2021 and over the year and 2 months of planning they had 3 different coordinators, with Shannon joining the team 6 weeks before our wedding. Communication throughout was overall not good. For example - I requested to book our rehearsal dinner at the chef’s table in November. A simple 30 minute task of making the reservation and picking the food with us seemed impossible for them. I called and emailed multiple times over the few months and never got answers. Finally I resorted to calling the restaurant manager. Turns out the chef’s table was never reserved for us, and I FINALLY got a menu confirmed…3 days before the rehearsal. Thankfully they gave us a bigger private room and waived the fee, but the added stress was completely unnecessary. I understand that they were trying to catch up after Shannon had just recently joined, and she was very helpful in pulling everything together last minute and was transparent about costs of upgrades which the previous coordinator was not (i.e she didn’t mention the chairs we wanted were $10/each or the napkins were going to cost an extra $500) so Shannon helped us navigate that for much more reasonable pricing. However, the morning of the wedding she did not make contact with us until noon and we felt that the staff’s attention was elsewhere. Our parents had to assist the other staff in setting up the reception tables because they had no communication or idea of what to do, and although people were trying to keep me distracted to minimize stress I could tell it was chaotic.In the end, everything turned out beautiful and the rest of the day went smoothly. If they can communicate better with both couples and staff and maintain their current staff I think the venue will do very well. We ended up having an amazing wedding which is the most important part!

If I could give this venue a million stars, I would. My wife and I just got married this past Saturday and it was literally a DREAM COME TRUE. Aside from the AMAZING view and DELICIOUS food, the staff is beyond friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had this venue booked 2 years in advanced and have been through a few of the coordinators, but STACEY was an absolute GEM to work with. She has turned this experience around and I honestly wish I can get married here again and again and again! We will be back here for every anniversary, that’s for sure :) If you are looking for an amazing venue, amazing staff and coordinator, and to have the wedding of your dreams - look no further and book here!!!!

If I could give this venue a million stars, I would. My wife and I just got married this past Saturday and it was literally a DREAM COME TRUE. Aside from the AMAZING view and DELICIOUS food, the staff is beyond friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had this venue booked 2 years in advanced and have been through a few of the coordinators, but STACEY was an absolute GEM to work with. She has turned this experience around and I honestly wish I can get married here again and again and again! How do you start when you’re reviewing the most perfect day of your life? We will start by thanking the people who made our day possible. Samantha was welcoming and went above and beyond for us. The view and Samantha’s hospitality are the main reasons we decided to celebrate our wedding at Verde River Golf and Social Club. Sarah was our coordinator and a true professional. From start to finish she was on top of everything. She brought our vision to life, from meeting at La Tavola Linen, tunnel lighting, venue decor / set up, and the best support through what can be a stressful process. She personally handed my husband and me drinks at our wedding, what more can you ask for? It was the most unforgettable night of our lives because of this team. Sarah, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 10/10Venue, this venue is a hidden gem. We are obsessed and trust me, it will take your breath away. Trust me when I say, book a tour!10/10The food, the best wedding food you will ever have. We moved dinner thirty minutes ahead on our wedding day and they accommodated with perfect execution. Two words, butter cake. We had Guests searching for anyone who had not eaten theirs (We served individual butter cakes instead of cake). They also accommodated all dietary restrictions, dairy and multiple vegan meals. 10/10The service, we never had an empty glass, dirty plate, and our bartender kept a smile on her face with an open bar and rowdy crowd. Our service team was a 10/10Thank you to everyone at Verde River Golf and Social Club. You made our day absolutely amazing.

In Short- -Unprofessional -Their wedding planner no showed or rescheduled every meeting we had.-They called a month before the wedding and made changes on our contract.Full story-I booked this venue for September 2020 and was so excited to have our wedding in February 2021. With Covid -19 going on, I continuously asked if the wedding was still on because myself and 95% of my guest were flying in from out of state. In November, I was asked to cut my guest list down to 100 (our contract said 130), and I was able to do that; even though some of my guests had flights and hotels, it was far enough out for them to get their money back.In the meantime, the venue got a new wedding planner named Sarah that started in December. I went to have my first call with her, and she had to reschedule (15 minutes before) because of poor planning on her part. The next day we talk on the phone, and she was unable to answer many of my questions but was confident to say that our limit was still at 100 people.Then in the first week of January, they called my mother (not me) and told her that we now have to have a 100 % the wedding outside. Since they are not an outdoor venue, we had to plan to get lights to decorate and light up the outdoors where dinner and dancing will now be. When we went to meet Sarah to plan what the outdoor wedding would look like, she was a no show again and no email.This brings us to now to January 20th, less than a month away from our wedding, and they call to let me know that I now have to cut my guest list to 50 people. This was NOT a state mandate, and it was just the venue saying they did not want to have 100 people outside in one location because of Covid (the venues around them were able to have up to 200 people inside). With less than a month until my wedding, my guests cannot cancel their VRBO, Airbnb, or hotel reservations without a penalty. Now I am looking for a new venue and starting over a month before my wedding.

I am sad to say that I could not of had a worse experience with this venue. The new wedding planner Sarah is unprofessional and unorganized. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

Where do I even begin. My husband and I knew this was our venue the minute we walked through the doors. It has been nothing but top notch service since day one. Samantha is a dream to work, very responsive to emails and calls. Never once did have to worry about anything.We did have to do some changes to accommodate the requirements with the pandemic, but I think it actually worked out better. Our guests are still raving about the service and food from Chicago! If you are looking for a great deal, amazing views and wonderful service I would highly recommend Verde River.

Samantha is a dream to work, very responsive to emails and calls. Never once did have to worry about anything.We did have to do some changes to accommodate the requirements with the pandemic, but I think it actually worked out better. Our guests are still raving about the service and food from Chicago! If you are looking for a great deal, amazing views and wonderful service I would highly recommend Verde River.

We had the wedding of our dreams at Verde River G&SC! Samantha helped us plan our entire wedding in a matter of weeks after our Hawaii wedding had to be cancelled--she made the process so easy and fun! Every single detail was completely perfect and I didn't worry about a single thing, she and the venue simply nailed it! The food was delicious, the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff were incredible! Could not recommend this venue enough!

We had the wedding of our dreams at Verde River G&SC! Our wedding day was PERFECT!!! We feel incredibly lucky to have had Samantha, the on-site coordinator, to handle our wedding. The venue had breathtaking views and DELICIOUS food. Our guests LOVED how beautiful it was. The mountains, the sky, and the venue grounds were perfect. It's the compliment we have heard the most from our guests. Samantha understood our vision on how we wanted our wedding and she delivered! The event was well organized and we had ZERO stress the day of the wedding. The people that worked the wedding were all SO NICE and they were professional. Samantha was also responsive and flexible the months prior to the wedding and helped us with anything we needed. It was truly wonderful to have had a coordinator with such focus on detail and listened to what we needed.

We just had our wedding here. The night was a dream and Megan, the event coordinator, worked her butt off to give us our perfect day ♥ She made sure everything and every one of my event vendors were in line and ready. Every one of their staff who have been involved with our wedding went above and beyond with their excellent service. The grounds are gorgeous and the mountain views are breathtaking! The cherry on top is that this place is a one stop for all your needs! Hair and makeup can be done on site by their awesome spa and their catering is top notch.So many of our guests have told us how beautiful this place is and how this has been one of the best weddings they've attended.Thank you guys for our perfect day!!

Verde River Golf and Social Club is absolutely beautiful! It’s such a unique location, your guests will be blown away at this modern clubhouse with breathtaking Mountain Views. ! Our guests were in awe at the entire experience- the food was outstanding ! Such a joy working with Megan the wedding planner, she is super helpful and enthusiastic. I would recommend this venue to anyone ! You will not be disappointed.
