Vermilionville is home to a quaint, climate-controlled chapel, a reception area fashioned after a cotton gin, and an on-site restaurant perfect for small ceremonies or rehearsal suppers! Rustic or fairytale romantic, we can help! Plus, we take care of the catering!
Kellie Bull(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-10-2021 Millicent was so helpful throughout the whole planning process! She made sure everything was in place so that we didn’t have to worry about anything on our wedding day. Our guests absolutely loved the food and the bartenders were great at keeping everyone with drink in hand. Absolutely recommend! Reviewed on 01-11-2021
Maddie Garrett(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-04-2017 We had our wedding here April 2017 and it was perfect! We had a lot of out of town guests, who loved the historic setting, the river with all of the oak trees and many said the food was the best they've had at a wedding! Millicent, the coordinator, was there for us every step of the way. She was very responsive while we were planning from out of state and made sure everything went smoothly and that we had a blast on our wedding day. Very affordable too, even with catering for 175 and beer/wine on the house. Reviewed on 23-05-2017
Carolyn Armgardt(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-04-2016 I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Vermilionville in April 2016, and it was absolutely perfect! Millicent helped us plan out all of the details, and made sure the day ran smoothly for us. We had about 130 guests, which totally filled the chapel and and for the reception allowed plenty of room for dancing. The food was delicious, and there was never a line at the bar. The venue is gorgeous, there were so many cute places to take pictures. We had a few miscommunications during the planning process, but everything was resolved quickly, and our day went smoothly. I loved that Vermilionville had almost everything we needed -- no need to rent tables and chairs or linens separately, it's all provided by the venue, which helped make planning a breeze. Since they do weddings almost every weekend, Millicent and the whole team are pros -- I would highly recommend Vermilionville to other couples. Reviewed on 25-06-2016
Erica Pater(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-06-2016 Where do I start?! I recently got married at Vermilionville on June 4, 2016, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Millicent and her team are incredible! From booking our date to the second we departed in our limo from our reception, the service was excellent. On the day of the wedding, they have a cart available to bring guests and bridal party to the chapel (in the back of the village) which was extremely helpful since it was raining on our wedding day. There is a bridal suite on location that is perfect for getting ready. We did not use it, but wish we would have when we were placed there to hang out an hour before the wedding. Mike, the man who does everything there, fixed me a grilled cheese while we were waiting in the suite to calm the wedding nerves : ) Our guests' raved about the reception food and how great it was! The bar never had a long line which our guests really liked. We invited 225 people and about 150 came which was a packed house in the chapel, but the performance center could definitely hold more guests. Milicent, the onsite wedding coordinate, was absolutely fantastic. She answered every email within minutes (except on Mondays because she's off) and has everything coordinated by the minute the day of the wedding. I truly cannot say enough great things about her! Oh, and the venue is extremely affordable. I would recommend this venue to anyone! So extremely pleased!!! Reviewed on 12-06-2016
Katie Arceneaux(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-11-2015 I had a terrible experience booking a date with the event coordinator. She tried to have me change dates after she already received my deposit because she double booked the venue. Very unprofessional and I refused to have my wedding here. Very disappointing because the venue is beautiful and was exactly what I was looking for. I wouldn't recommend Vermilionville unless they hire a better event coordinator. Reviewed on 28-12-2014
Jessica Housley(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-11-2011 Our wedding at Vermilionville was perfect! Such a wonderful staff and beyond beautiful grounds. They try really hard to make it a one stop shop. Mrs. Linda was our wedding/event coordinator and I couldn't have asked for more! Call for more info, the website doesn't do it justice Reviewed on 04-12-2011

Ashley Vienne(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-03-2010 Vermilionville offered us exactly what we wanted in a venue and in catering. The price was very affordable when considering it is for the venue and catering together. We had absolutely no complaints. Although, I am pretty sure you can have more than 150 people there, the chapel is smaller but for the reception we definitely had more. Reviewed on 22-09-2010
