The Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center is a wedding venue located in the heart of downtown Lima, OH. It is the largest, most versatile venue in the region. Choose from a variety of spaces to fit your style and love story. The Civic Center has everything you need to turn your vision into a beautiful wedding. Wedding packages start at $1,500. Each wedding package includes an eight-hour block of time, tables, chairs, linens (your color choice of black or white), setup & tear down, and china and cloth napkins. Staging is provided for the head table and free uplighting is offered in the Exhibit Hall. Security and bartenders can be arranged for those who wish to serve alcohol. Enjoy a seamless wedding day by hosting it all in one place! The Civic Center has multiple spaces to hold a ceremony & reception, an attached parking garage, and a hotel for you and your guests. The Exhibit Hall is the largest event area at this venue with 13,950 square feet of space. This hall is complete with large ceilings and ample room for seated guests, a dance floor, and live entertainment. This event space can be configured in several ways and accommodate up to 1,000 guests. For slightly smaller gatherings, the Exhibit Hall can be split into three separate event areas with the use of soundproofing wall separators. All of these spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art audio and lighting fixtures for custom celebrations. Crouse Performance Hall is great for ceremonies like no other. This theatre has played host to many well-loved plays and can now host unforgettable ceremonies as guests take their seats to watch you exchange vows. This performance hall boasts 1,774 seats and a large stage area. Additional facilities include the City Club where everlasting receptions can be hosted. This renovated space includes some of the building’s original features from the 19th century including restored stained-glass windows and more. The City Club can host large festivities that feature a dance floor, entertainment, and dining tables. While planning your wedding at Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center, an on-site event planner will be on-hand to make sure that your day runs smoothly. You may also avail of this venue’s extensive list of available rental items to help decorate your chosen event space. This includes tables, chairs, linens, fine china, and more.
