Built in 1876, Vibiana is a historic, award-winning, chef and restaurateur-driven, full-service former cathedral-turned-event venue like no other in Los Angeles, CA. Since 2012, Amy Knoll Fraser and Chef Neal Fraser have operated the property, adding their flagship restaurant Redbird, along with 5 private dining spaces in the rectory building adjacent to Vibiana’s grand Main Hall and Courtyard. The Frasers bring their guest-first, holistic restaurant hospitality philosophy, honed over three decades in the industry, to special events. Along with the Vibiana culinary, beverage and event management teams the Frasers provide restaurant level service from beginning to end with every detail considered. The range of culinary expertise has no bounds and can accommodate any and every cuisine expertly. Vibiana offers an extensive selection of beverages curated by Redbird | Vibiana Bar Director Tobin Shea. Shea's offerings feature well-balanced, bespoke renditions of the classics, as well as inventive and inspired originals. Redbird | Vibiana Wine Director Matt Fosket’s wine list is well-rounded with great finds from both established and emerging regions throughout the world. The Vibiana campus is a vast property and a true oasis in the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles. The beauty of the architecture of the Main Hall and its lush courtyard provides an incredibly versatile backdrop for designing a stunning event with indoor and outdoor experiences that feel both intimate and grand. Great care was taken over several decades to restore and keep original historic details intact while modern touches like a state of the art lighting and sound system, and high quality, custom rental equipment were added. Vibiana hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, engagement parties, galas, corporate events, non-profit fundraisers, performing arts shows, film shoots and other social occasions.

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception. Everyone raved about the bartenders, the food, the drinks, the staff - Vibiana really pulled out all of the stops and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Even the production team was awesome, my bridal attendant was next level, and I just felt so taken care of from start to finish. Could not have done it without the amazing dream team at Vibiana - people are still talking about the food and it's been a month!

My husband and I got married at Vibiana this past October, and cannot say enough good things about this venue. It is not only stunning, but I loved that it was a relatively inclusive package. The price was higher than some venues, but the value and what we got with it made it well worth it. Food & Drink, lighting, valet, security, basic chairs/tables/linens are all included. I also loved that there was an indoor and outdoor space. We did the ceremony outside (the courtyard is surrounded by lush trees and feels like a little oasis in the middle of DTLA) and then the reception was inside in an absolutely stunning space. Kathryn was a dream to work with and really made our vision come to life. We couldn't have had a more perfect venue and the people at Vibiana at first class making our experience unmatched. If you are looking for an upscale venue in LA, Vibiana is amazing!

The wedding reception was spectacular and surpassed our expectations! Everyone is still in awe and talking about it, from the dreamy venue, delicious food, flowers & decor, professional & attentive service, music, ambience & lighting, and wonderfully FUN. Everything went extremely smooth and well done! Working with Vibiana and its staff was the best experience I have ever had through all my corporate & community event planning experiences. Can't wait for another reason to host an elegant event at the gorgeous Vibiana.

The most amazing wedding venue in Los Angeles. Worth every penny. The service is the day of was impeccable and they went above and beyond to make sure the day went perfect. You can beautifully transform the room into anything you can imagine. The outside area is perfect for cocktail hour and all our guests raved how gorgeous this venue is.

Before we really had done any plans for the wedding, I knew that I wanted to have our reception at Vibiana. I had done a photo shoot here years ago and absolutely fell in LOVE with this venue. They absolutely did everything in their power to make sure that our big day was perfect. We had the opportunity to work with Chef Neal Fraser to make sure our wedding day menu was to die for. We could not have wished for a more perfect venue or caterer.

It made for a perfect wedding. They have made some changes with vendors and such so we came in at the end where we could actually buy out the kitchen for our own caterer but I don't believe that is an option anymore. But they have great vendors on their lists from florists to wedding coordinators. It truly made for a wedding I could not even dream of.

the ambience of the vibiana is amazing. the bridal and groom suites are superbly beautiful and convenient. The outdoor patio/garden is completely customizable for your specific wedding. And the especially important thing - the staff at vibiana is so nice and accommodating!!

the venue is so breathtakingly gorgeous, that the tone for our wedding was already set once we decided to have it here. our ceremony was in the courtyard and our reception indoors and had it not been so ridiculously cold that day, it would have been absolutely perfect. LA has never been that cold accordingly to the almanac on that day, so it was just our luck... don't be deterred. And even then, honestly, it was all so beautiful I couldn't have wished for anything better. There is a lot of red tape and processes and rules and whatever to go through with this venue, and it ain't cheap cuase the venue includes NOTHING (just the walls, water, and electricity), but the staff are very accommodating so long as you follow the rules and they're also super helpful when brainstorming ideas in terms of helping you achieve exactly what you want within their parameters. and you can't blame them for being strict because there's no other way to guarantee the continued preservation of the church. really remarkable.

My fiance and I were looking for something truly special for our wedding ceremony and reception. When we first walked into Vibiana, our jaws dropped...it really is that beautiful. I felt like I had gone to heaven with the white washed walls and golden light that gleamed through the windows. We fell in love with it immediately, but we tried not to since we didn't think it was within our budget. You have to rent everything including, chairs, tables, utensils, cups... everything! So, trying to figure out the budget took alot of research. But in the end, we were able to pull off our dream wedding by having our wedding on a sunday instead of a saturday, by having a buffet style dinner instead of sit down service, by using the same space for ceremony and reception instead of two different venues. Not to mention, I bargained with every single vendor I used. Many vendors wanted the chance to do a wedding at the Vibiana and were willing to discount many of their services. Renatta, Vibiana's coordinator for my wedding was phenomenal. She was very friendly and extremely helpful and she made wonderful suggestions. And, she really was looking out for the client, she didn't try to push unwanted vendors or services on us. She was a delight to work with. Vibiana was a dream come true!
