We had a great experience at Powder Ridge. Marla and her staff were great to work with, everything went smoothly! The food was excellent, the bridal suites were perfect and the views were wonderful. Reviewed on 09-06-2023

Lauren Price(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-10-2021 So the views were stunning (which was why I picked the venue in the first place), but other aspects were not as great. The ski lift was not running on the day of my rehearsal, so I could not go up to the top of the mountain for the rehearsal, which was stressful. Additionally, some of the smaller details and communication seemed to be lacking for the rehearsal and the day of (times we could go up to the mountain, the rehearsal space was not set up when we were told to arrive) and there seemed to be lack of staff to run the ski lifts when needed. In general, it seems like this venue doesn't prioritize their wedding guests over their ski/mountain bikers. Reviewed on 16-11-2021
Madison Fornal(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-11-2020 Powder Ridge was the best choice for our wedding. From the first tour, to the day of, their team was always available and ready to answer any questions we had. We held out on our day through COVID and with every change from the state, Powder Ridge was ready. We were in phase 3 up until 11 days before our wedding when phase 2.1 began and Powder Ridge didn't skip a beat in adjusting our plans and where our reception would take place. We went from the lodge to the tent and the tent checked every box we had and even more. It was a perfect and the transformation with the bistro lighting and our DJ uplighting was magical. We worked with Marla who answered each question, talked me down from a breakdown and was the most supportive person in the whole process. We highly recommend having an event at Powder Ridge. Meredith McNamara(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-10-2019 Powder Ridge was an absolutely amazing wedding venue. Our guests still cannot stop talking about our wedding, and we're close to six months later!Pamela was an amazing help from the very start. She was prompt in answering all of our questions and never even flinched at even our most ridiculous requests. We had our ceremony on top of the mountain and were lucky enough to have had peak foliage. The views were incredible. It was such a fun experience for everyone to take the ski lift up to the ceremony. Such a peaceful ride with my parents to relax before the ceremony began. We opted to zipline down from the ceremony to cocktail hour. The pictures are hilarious and it was such a fun way to fly into our marriage. All the food was amazing. The staff made sure there were plates on the table for my husband and I so we couldn't forget to eat. They also made sure our drinks were always full :) Our families keep joking that we'll do it all again next year. We wouldn't change a thing if we had the chance at a repeat! Reviewed on 04-04-2020

They continuously communicated with us up until the wedding and were constantly available for us the day of with any concerns or questions! My girls and I got ready in one of the rooms there and it was perfect! Our reception was ideal, with the staff supporting us by getting us our food and drink (and reminding us to actually eat! (: ) Our guests continue to rave about the lift up the mountain, the views and the food! We had an incredible experience having our wedding here and would quickly recommend it to anyone! Samantha Dorau(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-06-2019 Where do I even begin? Our wedding day and our wedding planning experience with the team at Powder Ridge went off without a hitch. I’m so glad we decided to host our wedding here! We initially took a look at Powder Ridge because of the food. If you’ve ever eaten at The Fire at the Ridge/ Ridgeside Tavern you know what I mean. The food is out of this world and the night of the wedding it was just as amazing as it is any other night! The whole team at powder ridge was great to work with from start to finish. We initially worked with Kara and she was great working around our pesky schedule, giving us advice and sitting with us and our family in effort to get ready for the big day. Sadly about a month out she had to start a new job elsewhere but without a hitch we were able to sit down and meet with Marla and Pamela and get everyone up to speed and on with the wedding planning. Last min we had a few family seating hassles come up and Pamela was right there ready help! The day of was great from allowing us to accommodate our dog, helping us with the last min decorations, and making sure we had a drink in our hand . . . everything was perfect! Plus kudos to the staff at the end of the night they cleaned up everything for us, and loaded it in our room upstairs so all we had to worry about was having a good time and getting on that shuttle. The property has a great outdoorsy rustic vibe, from its beautiful patio area, lovely fireplaces and large barn doors which make the perfect back drop for a sweetheart or head table! Plus there are so many great options throughout the property for you ceremony and your pictures. We decided to do our first look and bridal party photos on top of the mountain. Then for our ceremony we decided to use the dock and have a lakeside wedding! We got our pictures back last week and damn they’re great!!! It’s crazy the money you’ll dish out on photos but the property at powder ridge really makes it worth it! Powder Ridge is a great place to host your dream wedding! It’s almost two months later and our friends and family are still talking about it! From the property the venue to the staff and the food it’s an all-around great deal you won’t be disappointed. Amy M(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-10-2018 I'm a little late writing this review but better late than never! We had such an incredible experience having our wedding at Powder Ridge. We had our ceremony at the top of the mountain using the ski lift which was such a cool experience for all the guests who attended. It also made for amazing wedding photos and a great way to enjoy the changing leaves in the fall. After that it was down to the reception space which is a rustic ski lodge filled with string lights and scattered fireplaces. Our guests were thrilled with the food and service and still tell us how amazing our wedding was. Our coordinator, Kara, was new with the company and started working with us a few months before our wedding. To be honest, I was a little uneasy getting a new coordinator so close to my wedding, but she quickly put my mind at ease. Even though she was not the coordinator we booked with, we could not have asked for a better person to work with. She was responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. My husband and I felt a real connection with her and her team. I would not have changed anything. A wonderful hidden gem for a unique and beautiful wedding! Reviewed on 30-01-2019

Everyone was raving about how beautiful the ceremony and reception spaces were! And the food was absolutely phenomenal! I can not say enough about this location! Also our wedding coordinator Kara was fantastic to work with, she made the entire day stress free and effortless for my wife and myself! She went above and beyond, from our first meeting all the way through our last dance, to make sure this truly was the best day of our lives! She has an amazing staff working with her at the venue that will take care of every little thing you need! We did a lot of research and visited a lot of different venues. This was by far the most unique, most amazing option with so many great things to offer! Definitely check this venue out, you will be happy you did! Reviewed on 13-11-2018
Derron M(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-08-2018 Our wedding at Powder Ridge was perfect! We were a smaller wedding than they normally book, but we never felt that way for a moment. Powder Ridge always made us feel like a priority. Kara was our coordinator and did an amazing job at bringing all of our ideas to life. She did everything for our wedding! She helped with the menu, decorated, and even helped with our ceremony. We had many guests running late and they were flexible and worked with us. We had base of mountain ceremony which was waterfront and beautiful, followed by our reception in their private room. Every detail was well thought out and everything we wanted. Great job! Amanda Coco(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-08-2018 We had a wonderful experience having our August wedding at Powder Ridge. Our coordinator Kara worked diligently to ensure that all of our details were incorporated into our day. Having the ceremony at the top of the mountain was a great experience, and a highlight for our guests and myself! All our decorations were set up perfectly in the reception space afterwards. There were many options for our menu, and we had the flexibility of having a buffet and have the floor layout that we liked the best. The fireplaces inside and outside gave the space a rustic look, along with the barn doors inside. Would definitely recommend, our wedding was amazing! Reviewed on 07-09-2018
