Villa Antonia is an idyllic al-fresco wedding venue located in Austin, TX. This beautiful space, carved into the Texas hill country, boasts stylish and elegant features, and excellent photo opportunities. Couples are sure to feel the romance flowing through this picturesque villa estate. Combined with superb management services, this charming villa can make fairy-tale weddings a reality. Initially constructed in 1999, the villa was designed by a lady named Antonia for personal use. This labor of love arose from her passion for building the home of her dreams. Soon after its completion, couples began arriving at the door, asking if the villa was open for wedding-hire. Antonia was a romantic at heart, and so she transformed her home into a luxury location for ceremonies and receptions. Antonia’s lifelong project has been home to over 1700 events ever since. Couples and guests alike are sure to fall enchanted by the old-world feel emanating from the stone terraces and winding staircases. Walking among the rose garden by the waterfall, couples can explore a fantastic vantage point overlooking the scenic views of the countryside. Down to the last detail, the venue’s coordinating team offers couples complete guidance and can execute every precious moment seamlessly. Wedding events have exclusive use of the grounds with facilities made available to accommodate last-minute weather conditions. The venue requests that couples select from their preferred list of coordinating, catering and bartending vendors to ensure a hassle-free event. Dedicated time allowances for rehearsal, setup, and teardown are also provided for each nuptial occasion. Couples can feel like royalty on a day they will remember for years to come.

The Villa Antonia was the best! We booked it as our venue a recently this year just from what we saw on theknot! A year before my sister and her fiance had our first in-person visit and it was just as beautiful as in photos. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The team worked with us on scheduling all visits and was flexible since we don’t live near Austin. On the day-of our arrival the staff was attentive, friendly, accommodating and communicative. The scenery here is beyond breathtaking and pictures do not do it justice! We’d highly recommend Villa Antonia to anyone who wants their wedding in Pasadena. ALSO, AMY, IS OUTSTANDING!!!!!

I had the pleasure to be invited to Claudette and Hank Hughes' wedding earlier this month. The most beautiful wedding I've ever seen. Villa Antonia was a perfect setting for a perfect celebration! I do want to compliment the venue staff and especially Monica Hudson. I lost my purse during the reception and told Monica before leaving that evening. She took down all my information, and then phoned me on Monday to tell me a member of her staff had found my purse. She shipped it to me via overnight delivery at no charge. Our wedding was on 9/18/22 and it was the most lovely and memorable day! I planned our wedding for nearly 2 years and thanks to Monica and the coordination team at Villa Antonia I was able to turn off my admittedly hyper-organized anxious brain and simply enjoy the moments day-of. Email communication leading up to our wedding was odd, and there were a couple things that I asked for that didn't get done (like hiding the blue planters that didn't match our decor, and putting away the misters), and the personal flowers almost didn't get pinned, but overall those are small blips and in the end we wouldn't have chosen anywhere else to celebrate our wedding. Thank you, VA (and Monica!) for hosting our wedding and making our day-of so easy!

We had our 2022 semi-formal at Villa Antonia and it was absolutely exceptional. The venue is not only beautiful, but the staff are extremely helpful and are always willing to lend a hand. We had access to the entire property, giving us plenty of space to mingle, dance, and enjoy the company of each other! The staff at Villa Antonia created such a fun atmosphere for us. They threw in glow sticks for our dance portion, and even allowed us to use the extra sparklers they had on hand to end the night! I can go on and on about how amazing this venue was, but to sum it up, the venue and staff truly made the girls in our chapter, and their dates, have such a beautiful and magical night!

Truly a magical place! We had our wedding here and the staff, especially our coordinator, Monica, were phenomenal!Everything, and I mean eeeeverything at our wedding was perfectly coordinated by Monica, and the space is just unbelievable...We checked out many venues, but none came even remotely close to Villa Antonia. We are very happy to have been able to get married in such a beautiful place. Made our day even more memorable & enjoyable.

You MUST at least tour this place if you are looking for a venue. However, once you do I promise you will book it. Everything is picture perfect and honestly you don't need to \"dress it up\" like you would with other venues. One of my guests described it as a \"Hallmark wedding\" with how dream like and surreal this venue was. Every inch of this place is beautiful and even with what ended up being a much smaller wedding than we had planned (only around 50 people) it created the most perfect intimate and special feel. We had everyone outside for dinner and that will forever live in my head as the most beautiful memory. I do recommend adding an hour to the contract before the ceremony if you are doing a first look. Without that, it would almost be impossible. However, you will not regret booking this venue!

When I first started wedding planning, I saw a wedding video showcasing Villa Antonia and I absolutely fell in love! It is a little piece of Europe right in Austin. My guests loved the venue as well and couldn't believe we were in Texas! The venue is so stunning, so it doesn't need a lot of work in terms of florals/decor. I also love how there were so many different spots to take photos! Ms. Maria is so sweet and was great to work with along with the rest of the VA team. The only downsides are: 1. you don't get a full-day rental, so you have to pay extra for additional hours (like if you want to get ready onsite).2. There is only one bathroom for guests since it was previously a residential property.3. Music must stay inside due to it being located in a residential area. This means the wooden doors must stay closed so it was hard to get all of our wedding guests on the dance floor since it was closed off.4. Latest you can end the night is midnight Other than these 4 downsides, I would definitely recommend VA as wedding venue!

Villa Antonia was the most perfect venue and I cannot say enough good things about it. The venue has a nickname of \"Tuscany in Texas\" and makes you feel like you aren't in central Texas when you are there. We got so many compliments on the venue about how amazing the views are and the design of the venue. Villa Antonia was the first venue we toured and we were 99% sure it was the one. We toured two more in Austin but they couldn't compare. Amy gave us our tour and really sold us on the venue. She was also so helpful in letting us come out and see the venue again when we needed to take extra photos, measurements, etc. while planning. Monica is the day of coordinator and is truly amazing. She was so responsive to my several texts, emails, and phone calls leading up to the wedding. She also made our wedding flow and execute perfectly. Going into our meeting with Monica a month before our wedding, we felt so stressed as we had what felt like 100 different vendors and all these individual parts but no clue how it was all going to come together. We left that meeting with Monica feeling so relieved and so much better as she brought all of those pieces together. On the day of the wedding, Monica was awesome coordinating everything and helped us feel stress free. Maria was also so amazing. She put the boutonniere on everyone, made sure my wife and I had a drink as soon as the ceremony was over, and was constantly checking on us the entire night to make sure we had what we needed.The bottom line is Amy, Monica, and Maria are the A Team and you have to get married at Villa Antonia. There is no reason not to.

The staff was incredible and answered every question we had along the way as well as provided an open house that helped with our vendor choices. To this day we still get compliments on how amazing the wedding and venue was and our wedding was a year ago. I could not recommend this venue enough!

Villa Antonia is absolutely gorgeous! It has a tuscan vibe that is a unique find in central Texas! I was unable to hold my wedding here due to my very large guest count, but I could not pass up the opportunity to take my bridal portraits at this amazing venue! The grounds are so beautiful; there is an incredible view/backdrop in every single photo we took! The venue owner, Amy, is also amazing! She is so kind and professional! She had a complementary charcuterie board and champagne bottle waiting in the bridal suite upon my arrival, and she was super helpful in pointing out the best places on the property for pictures. If you are considering holding your event here or using this venue for your bridal or engagement photo sessions- DO IT! You will not regret it! There is no other venue in the area that has the amazing views and tuscan style found at Villa Antonia!

Mine was not a normal wedding story! The pandemic forced us to postpone twice, the first time only 6 days out from the wedding! Guess who rolled with all the punches? Villa Antonia. They stuck by my side and helped me not once, but twice to find a new date that worked for me. After waiting 3 years for the big day to finally come, there was a massive thunderstorm! The ladies at Villa Antonia quickly jumped into action and implemented our Plan B. I cannot be more thankful for the ladies at Villa Antonia and all the hard work they put into making my day special. If you want a private, breathtaking view with an old style Italian Villa vibe, this is the place for you!

This venue is absolutely beautiful! This is one of the only venues in the hill country that needs little to no decorations due to how breathtaking the scenery is. The architecture transports you to Europe as soon as you enter the venue. Not only was the venue stunning but the hospitality was amazing, Amy was very informative and transparent about the venue and all that is included.

We originally fell in love with Villa Antonia because of its beautiful architecture and landscape: the romantic, castle-like buildings; the rolling hillside; the numerous different areas to discover and photograph (butterfly garden, waterfall, chapel, tower); and the flexibility of having both a beautiful outdoor and/or indoor wedding. However, when we started working with the staff at Villa Antonia, we realized we were getting so much more than just the beautiful space. First, they already had all the tables/chairs we needed for our wedding, so we did not need to invest in outside rentals. Second, their staff are knowledgeable and experienced in planning and hosting weddings specifically at Villa Antonia, which means they know what ideas will work and what will need to be done day-of to help things run smoothly. There were three Villa Antonia staff during our wedding – Emily, our day-of coordinator; Maria, who helped with moving things and dress-bustling; and Jim, the security/parking attendant. All of them had years of experience servicing Villa Antonia and, due to their help, we were able to sail through our wedding and actually enjoy ourselves rather than worrying about what needed to be done next or focus on any fires that needed to be put out. Emily took care of communication with all our vendors, both day-of and leading up to for day-of coordination, and Maria expertly helped with set-up and break-down of items (including dress-bustling!) that we barely noticed! We appreciated their help and presence every minute, and we realized the service we received couldn’t have been bought! The venue is well worth the money – you get a gorgeous, multifaceted space that comes with its own furniture and an exceptional staff that makes sure your wedding is everything you want it to be.

This venue should be at the top of every couple's interest list, especially same-sex couples! I have nothing but praise for the venue and the staff at Villa Antonia. If the absolutely breathtaking views weren’t reason enough to get married here, the coordinators and support staff really do go all out to give you the best experience possible on your special day. My husband and I are a same-sex couple and were both initially drawn in by the diversity showcased on their website. However, the support and respect we felt throughout the entire planning process, as well as the day of the wedding, made everything perfect. This venue is a showstopper and we fell in love with it instantly; none of the other venues we toured could even compare. We are both so happy with our decision! Everyone here treated us like family and were genuinely excited to see our love story play out. Monica and Maria were so incredibly sweet and personable. Even though they do this for a living and probably see hundreds of couples a year, they really did a great job of making us feel special on the day of the wedding. They also both worked tirelessly to make the day a perfect, memorable success. We both really appreciated that level of investment and will miss working with them. Truly exceptional every step of the way!

Quick Summary: Villa Antonia was one of the most incredible wedding venues I've been to and all their staff were top notch professionals! 100/10 would recommend!I'm writing this review coming from a unique perspective; I was a groomsman in a wedding on 12/20/21 but also the wedding planner for the couple so I was pulling double duty. I've been in this industry for what feels like forever and can say everyone at the Villa Antonia made this day as smooth and special as I wanted it to be for my friends. This was a destination wedding for the couple so it was especially important that we locked down all the details ahead of time so day of I would be playing the role of friend to the bride and groom, rather than wedding planner. Our day of coordinator, Emily, took special care to ensure that no details were missed. A few minor tablecloth issues were quickly resolved without fanfare and it was the smoothest wedding I could imagine! Thank you Emily and all the Villa staff for making that day so special and being so warm and accommodating throughout the planning process. Also, the building itself is gorgeous, no need to over the top decor. Between the incredible views from all angles to the unique architecture of the buildings, this venue stands out!100/10 would recommend!

Our wedding was this past weekend and it was an absolute dream. All our guests were swooning over the venue, it was absolutely beautiful. But what I really want to highlight was the attention to detail that Monica, Maria, and the Villa Antonia team made. We are from Chicago so I planned my entire wedding remotely, made layouts, directions, and handed all my details to Monica and Maria to take care of and not only did they make it happen, they went above and beyond. Monica is so damn good at her job and it shows. Maria was so wonderful too, whether it was guiding us and telling us where to be or putting a straw in my bottled water to make sure I didn't ruin my lipstick- it was the little details like that, that made our day just absolutely perfect in every way. Thanks Villa Antonia team, we will never forget how perfect our day was.

We had my daughter’s senior photo shoot here. Absolutely a beautiful venue!!! Perfect photo backdrops inside and outside!! The venue coordinator treated us like royalty and pointed out the best spots for the time of day we were there, so the lighting would be just right. The staff of Villa Antonia are amazing people to work with. The facility is phenomenal. A jewel in the Hill Country just outside of Austin, TX. From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew this was the venue to exchange wedding vows. Amy made the transaction for booking and re-booking seamless during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Monica, our coordinator for the wedding, ensured everything ran smoothly without a glitch. We cannot say enough good things about the professional, kind and warm staff and the facility is breathtakingly amazing. Go visit Villa Antonia, you will be very pleased. We sure are!

My eyes get watery thinking about the day we found Villa Antonia. We saw a random Pinterest post and knew it was the place for us. Villa Antonia is not only a beautiful, spacious venue, it also has the most kind-hearted and excited people working with you to make your dreams come true. The venue itself definitely didn't need any further dressing up, which helped our decor budget. And, goodness, when the sun goes down and the lights illuminate the balconies.. It's just magical.

We fell for Villa Antonia’s charm last fall when we toured. We wanted to book it for October 2021. I specifically asked about their policy regarding postponement during our tour and Amy said the Villa would work with us if COVID was still an issue. We did book the venue after our tour. However, due to COVID and the international travel ban in France, we recently had to reach out to the venue to ask about postponing. Amy immediately responded and was very understanding. She sent us the policy for Villa Antonia. We were able to resell our date, which gave us more flexibility to choose an available date in 2022. I’m very grateful to them for working with us and we can’t wait to celebrate in October 2022! Solid business and great customer experience in difficult circumstances. Thank you!

We knew we wanted to do a fully DIY wedding but still needed a beautiful backdrop to serve as a canvas. As soon as we arrived at Villa Antonia, we were speechless and taken aback at how beautiful the venue was. It's atmosphere was romantic and magical at the same time. With so many options, you can be creative with how unique you wanted your wedding to be. The staff was just as amazing and was completely accommodating. We actually had to postpone our wedding during covid and they were so helpful with making something so stressful, so much easier. Chris was spectacular and a superstar. With her help and our coordinator Koehne Barlow, they made a miracle out of a wedding that was almost, just almost a last minute disaster especially with the wind. But they got their expertise together and took out their wands and voila.Our ceremony took place inside in the gorgeous chapel which had perfect lighting. Just enough for a romantic setting, yet bright enough for gorgeous photos and videos. Terra Vista string's music (recommended by Villa Antonia) echoed perfectly through the chapel and sounded phenomal, setting the perfect mood. The reception was on the terrace and spread throughout (for covid reasons). The heaters provided warmth yet created such a magical ambiance.We used Mopsie (super delicious!) as our caterer and chose the Texas BBQ. The ceremony and cocktail music was by Terra Vista. Both highly recommended by Villa Antonia. Terra Vista and DJ Saint from Complete Wedding and Events, played together whimsically and so profoundly, their fusion was one of the highlights of the night. Austin was known for live music, and we wanted to make sure that all of our guests (95% from out of town) can experience Austin's live music wonders.The night ended with dancing in the chapel which was spacious enough for crazy fun dancing and whatever you and your guest plan for the rest of the evening. We had snake dances, toss dances, line dancing, and tamborazo. Not to mention the garter and bouqeut toss.I can keep going and going about the wedding but I'd be writing a book. Our wedding is still talked about, and was said to be the wedding of the century! Lol. I wish the day last much longer, or at least keep replaying. There are many spaces throughout the venue to accommodate indoor and outdoor events and the venue makes it feel as if you are in a completely different country. The staff is absolutely amazing and treated not only us (bride and groom), but our guests like family! Chris Spady is such a joy to work with and it was like having a wedding planner. She was on top of every single detail of our wedding and it truly showed, because our day ran so smoothly! Maria is one of the sweetest people we have ever met and was a huge help on the day of our wedding. She took care of my entire family and we are so thankful for all she did. Chris and Maria worked so hard and made sure no one had to worry about a thing except to enjoy the day. Our day was perfect and we cannot thank the Villa Antonia team enough for making our day everything we wanted and more!

I found this venue back in college when I was thinking about my dream wedding just for fun. A few years later it ended up being the first wedding venue we viewed. While we also went on tours of other venues that peaked our interest, my heart always came back to Villa Antonia.Villa Antonia truly helped my dream wedding vision come to life. The detailed architecture and intricate design were highly complemented by my guests, who also loved all of the open indoor and outdoor space. With the timing and amazing weather that day, the ceremony was perfect on the terrace overlooking the hill country and the changing fall colors (reason for choosing November). Also because of the size, it was easy to put together a dream option for great or bad weather, without having to sacrifice my vision for the day.I wouldn't have changed anything about the day or the venue and highly recommend Villa Antonia as a ceremony and reception venue.

Absolutely beautiful venue. All of my guests could not stop complimenting how amazing it was. The staff, especially Chris, was on top of everything. I did not worry about anything the entire day, and I actually got to eat all of the food! They made sure me and my groom had a full plate of every food item we ordered , as well as a drink in our hand, so we wouldn't miss out on any of it. I would do it all over again if I could!

The people at Villa made all my dreams come true. Even though I got married during the pandemic, they made it as simple for me as possible. They had an open house where all their preferred vendors were in attendance. I chose almost all of my vendors there on the spot - check, check, check! When we got closer to my date, they worked with me to accommodate my guest count, creatively utilizing the venue space. The guests loved it! We all felt like we were in Europe, enjoying the summer night. There is no other venue or team like this in all of Austin. My day was beautiful & there was so much love!

This was the second venue my now husband and I look at and the second we got in the car from touring the venue, he looked at me and said, \"this is our venue!\" Villa Antonia is absolutely stunning in every way! We had a small intimate ceremony with close friends/family only and while it is a HUGE venue to accommodate hundreds, they made it feel very intimate, as we wanted. The bride and groom suites are absolutely gorgeous and our family still talks about how gorgeous our wedding was. Friends and family that couldn't make it look at our pictures (which were taken throughout the entire grounds of Villa Antonia after the ceremony) and are in awe that such a venue exists in the Austin area. It truly was a magical day and the staff made it so easy for me to not have to worry about anything! Thank you all so much for everything on June 19, 2020! :)

We have been extremely disappointed in how Villa Antonia has dealt with us after the COVID pandemic hit. We planned to get married at the villa on October 10, 2020 and have had the date booked for almost two years. When the pandemic hit, we were hoping that it would be cleared up by October, and we waited it out for as long as we could, but by May we reached out to Villa Antonia to do our diligence about postponing.Most other venues appeared to be dealing with the pandemic appropriately, so we were hopeful. However, Villa Antonia refused to deal with us reasonably, from May and through continuous conversations up until now, essentially ignoring many of our concerns and signing off with \"happy planning!\" We paid premium price—$7,500—for a Saturday wedding in October, but the venue only gave us these options:•\tGo through with an extremely dangerous event (for our families and the community)•\tSwitch to a Monday through Thursday in 2021 at the premium price we'd already paid (even though these usually cost $4,000)•\tAn additional $500 fee for any open date in January or February (even though generally Friday and Sunday events in these months cost $500 LESS)•\tOr a $1,200 fee for any Friday or Sunday in the hottest months of the year (June, July, or August, even though these usually cost between $5,300 and $5,800).The fees wouldn't apply if our date was re-booked by someone else, and we could pick a future open date in that instance, but we would still have to pay the premium price for a future, potentially non-premium date (and none of the dates available were ideal for us). In the more likely situation that nobody re-books—and nobody has, for the obvious reason that it's not safe to do so—we will have to make the choice of hosting an extraordinarily unsafe event or paying MORE than what the venue would typically charge for an event in 2021. This sort of exploitation is unacceptable during a pandemic.So many venues seem to have been compassionate and also just done the right thing during the pandemic, while Villa Antonia has used the pandemic as an opportunity to make more money, either by trying to force us to have an unsafe event or guilt us into paying a premium for other dates in 2021, just to cash in on the pandemic. It appears that one of the owners is a lawyer for a pharmaceutical company, so while this money over morals approach to business is light of her professional endeavors, it is nevertheless disappointing.Before booking a wedding with Villa Antonia, we suggest considering how they have treated others and treated their community in a time of need, and consider accordingly how they might treat you.

Securing the Villa Antonia is like having cheat codes to having the best wedding possible. I don't think there is a nicer wedding venue this side of being a celebrity or millionaire. And even if you were, you would still want to book this place. Although your mind makes you want to think it's hard to get to, nobody had trouble finding the place, and once there, the setting around the venue, and every detail of the venue itself provided an absurdly enchanting experience. The staff that they had helping us out, mainly Chris Spady, was a superstar standout. I'm so glad we stuck with this venue. It was a hit. The pictures are fabulous. And my memories of my night there will be cherished for as long as I am around.

My husband and I got married here this past October, and it was fantastic! The beauty alone that this venue has to offer is absolutely breathtaking. Everywhere you look, there is beauty. The hill country views, Italian architecture and lush landscaping make it feel like you are in Tuscany. The vibes are very elegant and romantic, which really forces you to be in the moment and take it all in. A few extra perks are that the restrooms are well kept, and golf carts are provided to transport guests from the parking lot to the venue. The venue also comes with Chris and Maria as your day of coordinators who could not have been any more helpful. These two made the day stress free and handled everything. Chris did a good job of keeping everyone on schedule and transitioning between the timeline smoothly. She was also very prompt in her responses to questions I had during the planning process, and really listened to what I wanted during the coordinator meeting. Chris and Maria helped with bustling my dress, and they setup all the décor exactly as specified.

We had our ceremony outside and 10 minutes after it started pouring so we had the reception indoors and it was amazing to be able to take advantage of all the spaces in the Villa. Chris, the on-site day of coordinater made sure everything was on time and stress free for us! I really appreciated that support especially when trying to make a rain plan and getting all the vendors on the same page. We got so many compliments on the beauty and class of the event space. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for a gorgeous well priced venue in the Austin area!

Everything about this venue is so perfect, from the Italian villa vibes, the view overlooking Lake Travis, and all of the different spaces you can utilize at this venue. Chris Spady, the venue coordinator, is such a joy to work with and was incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions (which was a lot since I was planning an Austin wedding from Dallas). Our friends and family could not stop talking about how beautiful our venue was, and I really believe pictures don't do this place justice. This was the only venue we looked at because I knew before we had even parked the car for our tour that we wouldn't find anything as breathtaking as this venue. I am forever grateful that I got to marry the love of my life in such a magical setting!

Anyone who steps foot onto Villa Antonia's property instantly knows how beautiful it is. The pictures and videos don't do the venue justice. The Italian villa feel, the stunning views, the endless space....it is all gorgeous. But, the real MVP of Villa Antonia is the service. Our coordinator, Chris Spady, was flawless. Aside from taking a group of stressed out people and making them each shine, she took care of every single detail...up to and including wrestling my wife's bustle into submission. She went above and beyond every step of the way. If you're looking for a venue for your special day, look no further. I would honestly recommend Villa Antonia over anyone else in Texas.

My husband and I got married at Villa Antonia in May 2019, and we absolutely could not have picked a more beautiful venue or more friendly staff than what we got here! First, let me just say that these pictures do not do Villa justice, it is 50x more beautiful and stunning in real life! We hardly got any decorations because the venue was gorgeous enough on its own!! While the venue was beautiful and reasonably priced, it's really the staff that I want to brag on because they are what made our wedding day so incredible! Chris Spady and her assistant Maria are two of the most wonderful people to work with! They are so attentive and you can tell they have been doing this for a long time because they made it look so easy! Chris helped us coordinate EVERYTHING about our wedding day, and gave us so much peace of mind for the big day! She took care of everything from telling our bridal party when to walk down the aisle to handing out the sparklers before our send off, and she did an incredible job! Maria was even kind enough to safety pin the train of my dress after it kept falling during the reception! Our wedding would not have been as fun and easy as it was if it weren't for these two lovely ladies and Dave, who served as our security officer and parking attendant during the evening. Thank you guys SO much for making our wedding such an incredible and memorable experience! This is the perfect place to get married, 20/10 would recommend!

My review and 5 star rating is based on our tour of Villa Antonia. We are from Houston. Our little brother and his fiance' are military living in Maryland and could not fly out to visit wedding venues. We are a tight knit family and would do anything for family!We arrived about 20 mins late. We apologized to Jim, who is our tour guide. He is so professional and patient with us. Upon arriving to the Villa Antonia, there is some anticipation. You get there and the views, the estate is breath-taking! But having Jim there really help us imagine a wedding filled with fantastic moments our family is about to part-take in.There are so many places to take pictures. I think that was what made our tour the longest. lol Villa Antonia is absolutely hands down, one of the best venues in Austin. We are narrowing down the dates! We can't wait to experience Villa Antonia! Make beautiful memories! It is like you are in Europe!Thank you Jim for taking the time to give us a great tour! It ruined it for all the other venues we saw that day! We saw a total of 5.

We got married at the villa in December 2018 and it was just as beautiful to everyone else as it was to us when we first laid eyes on it and knew we had to get married there! Everyone said it was the most beautiful venue they have ever been to and they are not wrong. All the little details and natural beauty can also save you some money because it does not need an extravagant amount of decor. Pros: 1)Chris Spady, she is truly the icing on the cake. She was so helpful and kept us organized and on track because when it comes down to the actual wedding, you might think you’re prepared but factor in 100+ guests and all the things that come up with that, and wahla you’re not organized anymore! So she really helped us and was sweet as can be. 2) the venue itself is beyond beautiful. Take advantage of all the beautiful sites for photos. 3) they require that your photographer shoot there before your wedding. This helped us a lot because it prepared us for what to expect and what pictures we prefer. 4) there was not a wedding there the night before so we got to drop off all the decor there the night before which saved us a lot of time as this was a destination wedding for us with limited transportation Cons: the time allowed on site per contract. The groom and bridal suites are GORGEOUS but it’s $300 an hour outside of your contract time to use them, so I had 8 bridesmaids and there was no way I was going to pay an extra $2400 just to do hair and makeup there. It was a big bummer to me because I loved the suite and had so many photo ideas but it was way out of our budget for that. I feel like because we could not get ready there I didn’t get a lot of the photos I wanted taken and it became very chaotic when we arrived because we arrived at the same time as guests (due to the contract) and we missed getting dressed shots, first look with family, etc. everyone was all over the place. 2) because of the contract time I had no control over how the decor looked or table settings were. I had no way to talk to DJ to let him know my grandpa was coming straight from the hospital with ammonia so the dj still asked him to say a prayer at dinner and he was so embarrassed because he couldn’t speak. It was all just a little to chaotic because you feel rushed. So if you have over $10,400 just for the venue then you will be relaxed as ever. Other than that I do not regret booking the villa. Was a dream come true.

You absolutely won't regret booking with Villa Antonia! Between Ms. Chris taking such incredible care of us and the beautiful venue, I truly couldn't imagine having the most special night of our lives anywhere else. This gorgeous venue makes everything that much more magical and every single one of our guests adored the atmosphere and scenery. It was just what we were looking for! I was a little skimpy on our decoration budget, but thankfully, this space really doesn't require a lot of extra fluff aside from some cute flowers! What originally sold me on it was the fact that their indoor and outdoor spaces were equally beautiful to me (I didn't want to leave too much to chance with the weather). One thing I will say is that friends tried to convince me to have my July wedding on the gorgeous patio, if you're debating as well, just know it will likely be way to hot in summer. Honestly, the chapel is also gorgeous and we just had the cocktail hour out there instead. Would highly recommend!! Thanks again, Ms. Chris, for the best ever night!

We had our wedding at Villa Antonia in June! The venue is absolutely stunning and has incredible views. All of guests were raving about how amazing it was. From the moment you come up to the hill and see the villa from the road your jaw just drops. We got married on the terrace, did dinner in the wine cellar, followed by dancing in the cellar. Chris & her team are so easy to work with and make the wedding day run smoothly, they are fantastic. We did our room block at the Domain and had buses run between Villa Antonia and the Westin and there were no issues – it was perfect! I would recommend Villa Antonia to anyone looking for a unique and scenic wedding venue near Austin.

This venue was hands down the most beautiful and magical setting you can find in all of Texas. This gorgeous Mediterranean style venue has so much character and is overwhelmingly romantic. We had an evening wedding in the summer and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how romantic and fairy-tale like it was. Chris, our day if coordinator, was so incredible. She made sure that all of the wedding happenings were nothing short of smooth and seamless for the Groom, myself, the wedding party, and all of our guests. She did an unbelievable job alleviating stress, staying incredibly organized, and communicating with all vendors making for a worry-free planning and wedding day. We seriously can't thank Chris enough for all the time and effort in making our wedding so perfect (the weather even held out!).

Picking Villa Antonia as our wedding venue was 100% a dream come true. The venue is AMAZING and the help of Chris and Maria throughout the process made this the best decision we could have made. I wanted an outdoor wedding, but I also wanted somewhere that had a beautiful indoor area (just in case!)-- this is harder to find than you would think. Villa Antonia has both an insanely beautiful outdoor areas as well as a beautiful indoor and this is what made the decision so easy. Our wedding turned out more perfect than I could have asked for and Chris and Maria made the day more stress-free than I could have imagined. This way the definition of my perfect venue-- they are always remodeling and upgrading to keep the place in perfect condition. Can't say enough good things!!

Love this venue! Our wedding was on 9/24/17. It was the first venue my husband and I looked at for our wedding and we fell in love immediately. It has multiple options for the ceremony itself both indoors and outdoors. We chose the terrace overlooking the hills for a sunset ceremony and luckily the weather was perfect. Chris was our coordinator and she was fantastic. Villa Antonia is beautiful and we would choose this venue again!

Villa Antonia is a dream spot to have a wedding. Our wedding was on September 30th, 2017 at Villa Antonia, and it was everything I could have ever hoped for. The venue looks like it was plucked right out of Tuscany. I had so many guests say that they couldn't believe they were still in Texas. The venue has amazing views of the Texas hill country, and with recent renovations the stone buildings have only gotten more beautiful and spacious. Multiple guests personally reached out to tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to, and with a venue as beautiful as Villa Antonia that requires little effort on the brides part. Ms. Chris, the coordinator of the venue, is an angel and helps drive the wedding to be as perfect as you planned it to be. She makes sure everything is prepared and accounted for, and helps ease any nerves or potentially stressful situations. When my florist forgot flowergirl flowers, she some how magically came up with some before the ceremony. She is a miracle worker!! I would 100% recommend this venue to any bride looking to get married, it was a fairy tale come to life.

We had our wedding at Villa Antonia this summer, and were absolutely THRILLED with every detail associated with the venue. The beauty of the venue itself is unbelievable - it feels like Italy in the Austin Hill Country. Every corner you turn there is something gorgeous to look at. After touring this venue nothing else even came close. Aside from the beauty of it, I cannot say enough good things about the service. Chris, Maria, and Jim are true professionals and working with them felt like working with family who genuinely care about you. They have every detail down and completely know what they are doing - they will make your day perfect. Chris was truly a life saver and answered all of my questions with patience and expertise. We could not be happier with our venue choice and will never forget our absolutely perfect day.

I must say that when I first laid eyes on Villa Antonia it was \"Love at First Sight\". I loved the warmth of the architecture and the old world charm and atmosphere. It looked like it could have come right out of the pages of one of my daughter's travel journals...to me it reflected Lauren and Buck's love of travel perfectly! While there , I felt like I could have been in Italy or numerous other places around the world, and I loved the fact that it showed people a whole different side of Texas and the Texas Hill Country! One of the most attractive features that Villa Antonia had to offer, over the other venues, was the Day of Coordinator, and I must admit that that was a huge selling point for me. I knew that I could plan a wedding, but knowing my personality, I also knew that I needed someone to take over the day of the actual wedding so that I would be free to enjoy this special day. Not only did I get a fabulous Day of Coordinator, but also her amazing assistant, Maria. Chris, did such an amazing job, and there truly aren't enough positive adjectives in my vocabulary to express how grateful I was to have her and Maria working with me on the day of the wedding. My husband even asked if she had a twin because everywhere he looked she was there! Throughout the wedding weekend, my sisters and other guests continued to compliment her and express their thanks for things that she had done that were totally unbeknownst to me. She remained on top of every situation throughout the entire evening, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that that was why things ran so flawlessly. Another member of the team that I want to give a big shout out to is Elizabeth. She invited us to an open house and was our initial contact at Villa Antonia. She is friendly, outgoing, and immediately puts you at ease as she shows you around and schedules your date. What an asset she is to the team. Seldom is a venue successful in and of itself. You may have the perfect setting or location, that is further enhanced by beautiful architecture and location, and there is no doubt that all of those qualities add to the venue's appeal . However; the greatest selling point for me was definitley the caring, dedicated staff. From the time we meet Elizabeth, who was our 1st contact, until we concluded the evening with Chris and Maria, we were in execellent hands and that was the ultimate gift! In the past 13 years, I have attended many weddings in Austin and have attended as a guest, bridal party member, and the bride. Last fall, I was able to experience Villa Antonia as a bridal party member and it was wonderful. From the initial tour of the villa, to an open house, to the rehearsal, and on the wedding day- every experience was enjoyable. The old world look of the Villa is at once the dramatic and interesting backdrop everyone wants for whatever occasion they are planning. While there is very little need to decorate the gorgeous grounds, the options are endless as to how the Villa can be decorated for your specific event. Because the grounds include many different spaces, the thought of decorating can be overwhelming, but the staff work with you to offer suggestions and guidance on how to create the unique setting you have in mind for your special event. Being in the bridal party in my brother's wedding there was enjoyable and comfortable. Having plenty of space to get ready while taking care of my children, nurse, and participate in the festivities. I am so appreciative for the experience and wish I would have known about Villa Antonia when I got married in Austin! I am looking for an opportunity to host something there for family or work in order to experience that magical setting again. I highly recommend Villa Antonio for whatever special event you are planning, big or small.

I attended a wedding at Villa Antonia last year for my brother. The venue was large enough to hold our huge family and all my brother's other guests, but felt intimate at the same time. There are a number of unique spaces and nooks for having cozy conversations when taking a break from the dancing and celebrating. The location is perfectly out of the way, which helped make the night even more special for my brother and his bride. I could not recommend this place enough!

Villa Antonia is a breathtaking venue. Words are hard to come by when you see the view from the terrace, and the rest of the venue. Now, if the view isn't enough to make you book, let me tell you about Ms. Chris. The most incredible wedding coordinator. She is AMAZING. I would tell you to get married here just because she's the coordinator. You (the bride), and the family, are stress-free on not only your wedding day, but leading up to the event. It's amazing!

Amazing Venue!!! It is as beautiful as the pictures suggest. The venue was great, the staff was AMAZING!!! My mom and I were trying to decide if we needed a wedding planner since my mom was in Dallas and I was working full time, but Chris (although technically not a wedding planner) was so helpful with everything and made it so incredibly easy! Absolutely loved my wedding due to gaining my husband obviously but also because of the beautiful venue and Chris and her amazing staff.

WOW is all I can say about this venue. I was married there this month, and it was absolutely perfect. Despite being in early January after a freeze, the foliage was beautiful. The architecture is stunning, STUNNING! But most importantly, Ms. Chris, the venue coordinator, will make your wedding day so easy and fun. She contacts all of your vendors in the week before to ensure everyone is on the same page, then coordinates all deliveries and sets up everything - from dinner tables to guest books. There was water and champagne in the bridal suite from the moment we arrived, and her assistant made sure the groom and I had snacks while we took pictures during cocktail hour. The assistant also went around with me, helped me with my dress, and made sure my groom and I ALWAYS had drinks in hand, and just generally treated us like royalty. It was a crazy and amazing experience.Your wedding is going to fly by - choosing this venue will help you to enjoy every last minute :)

The venue is in the perfect location, high in the hill country looking out onto the hillside. The venue perfectly compliments the beauty of the sceanary, creating the perfect romantic setting for weddings. The staff at Villa Antonia had been instrumental in assuring our special day is perfect and the execution is seamless. Wedding planning can be overwhelming at times and their wedding coordinator helps to guide and paint a picture, bringing all the components of the day come together. Their staff have been along side us each step of the way helping us connect with vendors, solidify timeliness, and create opportunitit's for creativity to meet our vision. With our wedding day around the corner, we feel the support and care from the venue like and could not be happier with our selection.

This venue is all around amazing. We got married here at the end of May, and we couldn't have dreamed of a better place to get married or better people to work with. This place just fit us. We initially worked with the previous owner last fall to book the venue, but we've met the new ownership, and the venue seems to be in great hands. Especially since Ms. Chris is still there! :) She worked so hard leading up to the wedding and the day-of to make sure our wedding ran smoothly. On top of everything, she is the sweetest, but knows how to keep people organized and on track. Like with every wedding, there may be a day-of hiccup here and there, but because of Chris, we were able to enjoy our day and not worry. That was even with an ER visit by my Poppy. So many of our guests said this was the most beautiful venue they've ever seen, and I'd have to agree. You are crazy not to get married here!

When our daughter, Dallas and her fiance called us to say they had found the \"perfect\" place for their wedding, we were so happy for them - but elated, when we got to see it for ourselves. Your staff and property can only be described one word.....a \" fairytale\" - making dreams come true. Chris and Maria, your on-site wedding coordinators, in addition to all the vendors we worked with during the planning process, were simply incredible. The vendors you recommend know your staff and facility and execute their roles flawlessly. The Villa staff is so accommodating and we could not have asked for a more perfect day for the bride and groom. Villa Antonia feels like a taste of Italy ~ all our guests enjoyed the view of Lake Travis and the rolling terrain, while the breeze kept everyone reminiscing of the beautiful ceremony and amazing dinner. Everyone was so relaxed and comfortable as we moved around the Villa and it's gardens. From the moment we met you and your staff, and all the way through to the last dance, we felt Villa Antonia was our own home. We chose to have our wedding at Villa Antonia and it was one of the best decisions we made. The venue and its views over the hill country were breathtaking and charmed all of our guests. Many guests said they felt like we were in Italy due to the architecture and views. The venue is beautiful at every turn and was a great conversation piece the whole night. Working with Chris the coordinator was also easy and stress free. She gave helpful venue information and input when planning our day-of wedding timeline. We booked on a Sunday which helped out with budget but many of our guests did leave early because of Monday workdays. Booking at Villa Antonia will help bump your wedding experience to the next level.

What a magical place to get married! Chris, the in-house wedding coordinator calms nerves, takes charge and everything runs smoothly. My daughter's wedding was beautiful. Guests were so in awe of the beauty of it all. We only had her ceremony there but it was a on a beautiful spring morning and we had her ceremony on the terrace. Having only the ceremony there kept it within our budget so that's something to keep in mind.

I don't have enough great things to say about Villa Antonia. The venue coordinator, Ms. Chris is absolutely amazing. She held my hand and walked me through several appointments, phone calls, and emails. As an out of town couple (from Houston) she made things an absolute breeze. We got married 3/19/2016 to kick off the season and it was perfect. When weather turned cold last minute she helped move dinner indoors day of and it turned out beautifully. She also helped set up my centerpieces and place things out everywhere. Day of she was discreetly at my side occasionally to let me know what was happening and when. FANTASTIC! Regarding the venue... it's just gorgeous. There is a plan A, B, and C and they are so happy to work with whatever you want. With Lake Travis up, the view is stunning. Perfection!Finally, Elizabeth the marketing coordinator helped as well. Since we were out of town she recommended a welcome Cocktail hour at The Domain, Punch Bowl Social. It was very cool and our guests loved it. The entire process was perfect. I always felt taken care of, had peace of mind, and our guests just raved about how gorgeous the wedding was. Success!

All of my dreams came true when my fiance and I married on the evening of June 7, 2015 at the gorgeous venue of Villa Antonia overlooking the beautiful Hill Country. As a wedding photographer myself, I have been at many gorgeous venues but this has always been my favorite. It is the most photogenic venue around Austin! Besides the beauty of the Villa, the layout space made for a lovely and comfortable time for my our guests and the evening flowed from one space to the next as we had different areas for the ceremony, cocktails and appetizers, the formal dinner, and dancing. Under the direction of Chris and Maria, every detail was taken care of and my wedding was flawless.

When looking for venues that we could have our wedding ceremony and reception indoors, we came across Villa Antonia. This venue has so many different options, we loved the fact we would not have to flip the space and have our guests waiting. \r\rAt first we were concerned about the drive, but the extras that the staff offer are above and beyond!\r\rChris, Maria, and Jim made our wedding even more special with all of their attention to detail and quick thinking (since every bride in 2015 has had to have a rain plan). I don't think we could have pulled everything off without them - nor would want to.\r\rI cannot wait to get our pictures back because our guests have not been able to stop telling us how beautiful everything was. We are SO glad we picked Villa Antonia!!!

Our guests called this venue \"Heaven on Earth\". We chose a venue that spoke for itself, while showing off the Texas hill country as we had many guests from out of town. The attention to details made this one by far the most beautiful location we visited. The staff was kind, courteous, and prompt in helping us. Our day of wedding coordinator provided by the venue, Chris, made sure to check in periodically if she hadn't heard from me first. While this venue was more than we had planned on spending, it was worth every penny. Our guests continued to be amazed throughout the wedding because we moved from the Lakeview Terrace to the Chapel to the Wine Cellar for different parts of the evening. There were many other places that they were able to go off and explore for photo ops.

I have wanted to get married here since first laying eyes on the wedding venue when my brother considered it a few years back (they ended up marrying in Florida). My wedding was in October and it was absolutely breathtaking . The Villa itself looks like a castle straight from a fairytale with the ornate foliage and beautiful architecture overlooking the hill country. \r\rIncluded in the cost of the venue is the wedding coordinator- Chris. She is fantastic! I planned the entire wedding with my mom and I am an extremely meticulous person. However, Chris blew me away with her attention to detail in making sure that every single item was covered, and all the while coordinating with my vendors. She had great insight to the venue and what flows best, which was extremely helpful and made the wedding day go off without a hitch. Knowing Chris was there with Maria (her assistant) to help me on the actual day, put my mind at complete ease and allowed my wedding party to have a blast without the burden of much responsibility. Going into the process I had no idea how frantic and detailed everything needs to be down to the minute (despite reading reviews), but in hindsight I can see now just how valuable a day of coordinator is to the event. \r\rI have been to many weddings in Austin and Villa Antonia is hands down my favorite, both before and after having a wedding there!

Villa Antonia was an unbelievable gorgeous wedding venue. They have numerous areas where you can choose to have your ceremony (all are gorgeous!) and all the grounds have amazing views of the Austin hill country. Our wedding was several weeks ago and we still have family and friends talking about how incredible everything was and that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever seen! The venue coordinator, Chris did an awesome job and is very helpful. She is so organized and keeps you on track the entire day/evening. She also does a great job with helping you plan and coordinate with all your other vendors (catering company, DJ, photographer, florist)so they know when to arrive the day of, what they're responsible for etc. The only reason I gave a not perfect score for service was because on occasion, when the wedding was still a ways out, they were a little delayed in responding to emails when I had questions. A few months out though, and they were very timely when responding to phone calls and questions. I highly recommend this wedding venue and without a doubt can say that this is by far the best venue in Austin, if not in the entire state of Texas!
