I had my wedding at the Villa Borghese on 6/11/23. Our wedding was so Beautiful and well coordinated. Working with Nicole and her team was a pleasure, Nicole was truly amazing and always available when I had questions or needed guidance with ideas. Our guest are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and the outstanding food. Everyone was so impressed with the cocktail hour they couldn’t believe there would be a sit down dinner too. This was the best day, thank you Villa Borghese.

I got married here in September and this venue was perfect for us. The matre d and bridal attendant took care us all night and made sure our guests were happy. The staff was exceptional and really made us feel taken care of. Our cocktail hour was upstairs on the garden terrace and the food was great. We barley got to eat any of it and they gave us a bunch to take home. One of my husbands younger cousins said his dinner portion was small (it was not 😂) and they brought him out an entire additional dinner and made sure every guest was happy. Our reception was in the garden room which was beautiful. Highly recommend

We simply cannot say enough about the Villa. Nicole and her team were some of the kindest, most knowledgeable individuals we had the pleasure of working with during our engagement. They were patient, kind, and understanding throughout the planning process and were quick to answer our many questions ahead of our wedding day. When our special day finally arrived, our guests were blown away by the beautiful grounds at the Villa and the selection of food that was served. The Villa offers incredible catering packages that allow couples to truly customize their menu, and the event staff truly do everything they can to match your vision. Our ceremony in the outdoor gardens went perfectly thanks to Nicole and her expertise in making sure that everything runs smoothly. Absolutely would recommend the Villa to anyone who is looking for an all inclusive venue with great food, exceptional service, and stunning backdrops for all of the special photos that are captured on your wedding day.

Our wedding at Villa was everything we could of asked for. Nicole was great from start to finish. My guests had a great time, they loved the food. We had minor uncontrollable issues that came out the blue and the venue handled them without a hiccup, my guests thought it all went smoothly. The staff was great. They work with you unlike other venues to make your dreams come true. If I could get married over and over again I would pick Villa over any other place. The establishment is immaculate and gorgeous as well.

From the very beginning Joe (co-owner of the venue) had a relaxed and friendly vibe. He brought a sense of calm and ease while going through the planning process and really felt like family in the end. He was available for all my questions (and boy were there a lot) and always had time for me. The wedding tasting day was lovely as well since it was a great opportunity to show our families the venue and what an event looked like in it. We used the upstairs room and outdoor terrace for the cocktail hour which was a great space for our 170 guests. The hit of the cocktail hour was the sushi so when my husband and I arrived late and didnt get to taste one, Joe personally brought us over 50 rolls to our sweetheart table during our reception. Our maitre d' was phenomenal and the bridal attendant assured that we were well fed and always with a drink in our hand. I am definitely hoping to use this venue for a smaller event in the future since we had such a wonderful experience using them. The price is right, the food is phenomenal and the venue is gorgeous! Highly recommend!

Nicole was absolutely wonderful from the second we signed the contract until we were stepping foot out of the venue the night of our wedding. She answered every email in detail and in a timely manner! Tiana my bridal attendant was sweet, helpful and calming during the entire night. Ashley the bridal suit attendant went above and beyond to get us everything and anything we needed before and during the reception. Heather was awesome at communicating, being attentive during every “big moment” of the night and letting us know exactly what to do and when. We were beyond grateful and pleased with everyone who helped up during our special day.

We were an Anthony’s Pier 9 couple and only had 48 hours to make a decision if we wanted to stay with Bonura or get a full refund. We decided to get a refund. We looked high and low for a new location, with our same date and time. I was told to contact Villa and I am SO happy I did. We got in contact with Joe, and they matched our whole package we had with Anthony’s— with our original date AND time!! (This is unheard of for an October wedding in the Hudson Valley.. especially with 6 months until our wedding) Joe was super informative, answered any questions I had promptly. He was also very honest which we appreciated. Not only Joe was great, but everyone you talked to was fantastic. The food was incredible, service was excellent, location was perfect. You will get your full monies worth at Villa!

The Villa was an amazing venue for our wedding. Everything from the service to the food to the decor was beautiful and perfect. Joe was incredibly patient and helpful making the day come together and answering all of our questions. The garden was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and the Venetian room and Crystal room were gorgeous for cocktail hour and reception, and just the right size for our small wedding of 60 people. We were able to use the back lawn to take beautiful photos as well. I even had a bridal attendant to help me and that made the day go even more smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing, and all our guests complimented the venue extensively. Would absolutely recommend.

The Villa Borghese is the perfect place for a wedding. We were lucky enough to work with Paul and Nicole through our wedding planning process which included rescheduling due to covid. They were amazing, always replying to emails and phone calls, and always answering any questions we may have. We had a tasting before our wedding which was such a fun date night. Our entire wedding was help at Villa Borghese. The bridal suite was roomy and beautiful and made for gorgeous getting ready pictures. It was so nice to have a room to hold all of our things and use to freshen up. We had our ceremony outside in the garden which was gorgeous, our cocktail hour was upstairs which gave guests plenty of room inside and outside plus amazing food and drinks that our guests are still raving about, and our reception was in the grand ballroom. It was beautiful with the lighting and dance floor and everything about our wedding was smooth and professional. Our guest cannot stop talking about how our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to and I honestly believe a big part of that is because of where we had it. I would recommend Villa Borghese to anyone. It was the perfect day in every way.

This has to be the worst wedding I ever attended the filet was burned to a crisp most likely left over from another party. Shrimp like a rock almost uneatable served with a Tom sauce instead of cocktail sauce. I was embarrassed for the bride oh and ps it was the consensus of all the guest not just me. My husband and I could not have asked for a better venue. We chose the Exclusive Venue option which allowed us many benefits, including being the only event at the venue on our wedding day. This gave us the opportunity to use the space to it's full capacity, no matter what the weather entailed. Every step of the planning process was easy. Our wedding coordinator made this experience fun and memorable and as stress-free as possible. The food was amazing, my guests are still raving 7 months later! Villa Borghese can accommodate every detail you have in mind. We chose to have both reception and ceremony here, allowing us to enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue is perfect for your dream wedding photos, outside, up on the terrace or inside by the white marble fire place. I can't imagine having had my wedding anywhere else.

Extremely professional, helpful, and friendly staff. We spoke to many different people at different times and everyone does their best to accommodate any questions, needs, or concerns you may have. You can tell they have been consistently updating many aspects of their venue keeping it modern giving a party all night with your loved ones vibe. They offer lots of uplighting options for your reception to set the perfect color palette and mood for your event. Beautiful modern bridal suits perfect for pictures. We were very pleased with all aspects of working with this venue and their food was excellent. They offer an affordable winter wedding package for those on a budget and looking for a great deal. Honestly we have zero complaints and nothing but compliments for Villa Borghese.

From the moment we stepped on the property to the moment we left they were there by our side. They paid attention to every little detail. He even accommodated an ice cream station for my students who weren't staying for the reception. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was! The Villa Borghese was the perfect venue for my wife and my wedding. We had the ceremony outside in the garden, the cocktail upstairs on the terrace and reception in the grande ballroom. The venue is gorgeous with white marble floors, heated lamps on the terrace and spacious ballroom. The staff were professional and attentive. We had the pleasure of working with Nicole during the planning process. She promptly responded to all our emails and questions. Nicole was very flexible, and went above and beyond meet all of our needs. She even reached out and found us a Vegan bakery to make a small wedding cake for my wife and I to eat. She also spoke with the chef to ensure there were vegan options at the cocktail hour as well as the reception. She was phenomenal and such a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend the Villa Borghese to celebrate your magical day.

We had our wedding reception at Villa Borghese and could not be happier with our selection! The entire staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the whole process, and very quick to thoroughly respond to any questions or concerns I had along the way. Everything was handled very professionally, but also very personable. Our reception was in the Grand Ballroom and it was absolutely beautiful! The room looked amazing to begin with, but by the time Villa Borghese had decorated and set up with the decor we provided, it looked absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious, and we are still hearing about how great everything was - and especially what a wonderful cocktail hour there was! Service was exceptional and the staff handled everything. Everyone was very accommodating to our requests. The bridal suite was beautiful and looked brand new. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding reception, and appreciate the attention to detail and effort the Villa Borghese put into our wedding day. They are truly professionals at what they do, and made the reception part of the day as easy as possible for us. Thanks again to everyone at the Villa! We recommend this venue a hundred times over.

I don’t really know where to begin, Villa Borghese is the place you need and want to have taking care of your wedding celebrations. We had both the ceremony and the reception at the Villa for our special day. We are so happy for everything they have done to make our wedding day most memorable, amazing and beautiful. We started working with Sarah, and she was amazing, and Nicole, helped us trough the end, and she is knowledgeable, she knows what she’s talking about, she is smart, kind and very supportive, from the menu and the lighting and all the small and important aspects of the wedding, she always offer her honest opinions, and we really appreciated that because we didn’t know much about planning a wedding. Every time we visit, the staff always treated us with kindness and love. Villa Borghese is the perfect place to have your big day celebrations, they are professional, understanding, and amazing, they will help you make your dream wedding come true. We have the most beautiful, wonderful time, we enjoyed our day, and so did our guests. Its was unforgettable. Villa Borghese is the place you need for your special day.

We had an amazing experience with Villa Borghese. They helped us every step of the way. Joe was so accommodating throughout the planning process, the waitstaff was on point (shout out to Miguel!), and a few attendants spent literally almost an hour trying to pin up my dress when we were shocked after the ceremony to find that it did not have a bustle (after I was told that it did)! Generally, our day went so smooth because of Villa Borghese, the food was amazing, everyone is still telling me it was the best wedding they've been to weeks later. Gorgeous, no complaints, only a raving review!

My husband and I got married at the Villa Borghese on July 15, 2018, and we had an amazing time. Our guests loved the venue, loved the food, and loved the ceremony site! Nicole and the staff was very attentive, polite, brought us food during cocktail hour as we were taking photos at that time, and they were willing to extend cocktail hour as we were running behind on our ceremony time, however I decided to keep everything running on time. During the planning time, Joe was very helpful and answered the millions of questions I had. We did have one table at the wedding that had a rude server but all in all they stated they had a great time.

Joe and the rest of the Villa Borghese were fantastic to work with. After my rep left unexpectedly, Joe picked up communication with me and was always available to answer questions (and I had many!) My husband and I received so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how great all of the staff were. Miguel and Heather were so helpful to us throughout the entire night and ensured that everything ran smoothly. We also received many compliments about the fact that all of the food was hot and cooked perfectly. We cannot thank the Villa enough for helping us have such an amazing night. We will without a doubt participate in Villa events in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding or other party!

My husband and I just had our wedding here on Friday, Oct. 13th. Everything was perfect! They took the guess work out of so much of the planning that they made our experience so stress free. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the outside pergola was where we originally planned to have our ceremony, but being that we decided to get married in October, on a Friday night, the sun was setting earlier than we had hoped. The day before the wedding I spoke with Paul and told him to use his judgement in terms of the outside ceremony, if it was going to be too dark by 630 then we can have it inside. I didn't know until we arrived right before the ceremony that it was in fact moved indoors and I it was more beautiful inside than I think it would have been out. Our reception room was split to accommodate the ceremony and I don't even think anyone even noticed that we were back in the same room later. The staff did an amazing job and was on top of everything you needed. I would absolutely recommend having your wedding here!

Words cannot describe how thankful we are for Joe and his team at Villa Borghese. From day one of our tour we were treated like royalty. When our original Representative had left unexpectedly, Joe took on our Wedding and exceeded our expectations. Our guests raved about our cocktail hour all night! And we're still receiving compliments on the service and food to this day. We would recommend Villa to everyone who asks & we're very proud to call the Villa staff Famiglia. Not enough stars for this venue . Thank you to the whole Porco family for our anazing day!!

Best way to describe my experience is, absolutely perfect! I have zero complaints for this venue. My wedding was on April 22, and the weather was even great but we had our ceremony indoors. The day of the wedding we had some rowdy groomsmen and we are thankful Joe was extremely considerate with dealing with them. Paul was able to sneak in the late guests before I walked down the aisle. Our cocktail hour was in the downstairs room and although we did not attend, we received a ton of food in the bridal suite. All of our guests said the cocktail hour was amazing. The reception was also perfect. Food was timely and delicious, and the attendants kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Even the affiliated vendors (La Delicioza - Bakery & The Marriott - Hotel) were wonderful! Throughout the entire process Joe was extremely accommodating and responsive. DO NOT think twice about booking this venue - just do it! You will not regret it. My wedding was everything I dreamed of and more. The Villa exceeded my expectations!

Villa Borghese was a beautiful location for the ceremony and the reception and the food was delicious. Nicole was an amazing help!One tip - when choosing all food, make sure to confirm what each entails. We had two dishes (that I noticed) that were described one way in their brochure but delivered differently on the actual day - including the added mashed potato bar, which was described to have sweet and white mashed potatoes and fixings, missing the sweet potatoes. We were told they never included them, but as I referenced the brochure, they made them and served them table-side but the majority of diners had finished eating by this time.

I strongly recommend booking your wedding with Villa Borghese! From start to finish they treated us like family and made our special day beautiful and a night to remember. Everything was easy with them whenever we had questions, concerns or advice needed for planning our wedding. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful, cocktail hour on the garden terrace was unbelievable and the crystal room was elegant. The food was delicious and the desert was the same. Tara! She was AMAZING! She made great suggestions on my theme and joked with us. She was not only super friendly, but really knew exactly what she was talking about. I ended up hugging her at the end of our meeting! If you are looking for a venue, even if you feel that hopewell juntion is a bit far for you, please visit this place before you make a decision. Inclusive packages with really nice personal touches. Also, the owners are from Italy and sometimes still cook there (need I say more?) They are friendly, professional and the venue itself is great. Just a really lovely setting for your big day.

Overall VB was easy to work with and their costs are very reasonable for what you receive. Both my husband and I are Italian American, and having certain foods, large cocktail hour, large Venetian hour, etc. was incredibly important to us. There is really not another venue in the area that is going to give you the quantity, quality, and type of food you want if you are looking for that. After the coordinator that we were working with left, we worked directly with Paul, the owner, in the final stages of our planning who was always accommodating and clearly wanted to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. There were some small missteps in service during the day of but Paul managed his team appropriately, and was incredibly apologetic when we sat down at our sweetheart table and discovered that only one of our personal toasting flutes was there. Apparently a staff member had broken one when setting the table and didn't tell anyone. Upon discovery, Paul immediately asked if he could go out and buy one during the reception. We were not 100% sure what to expect as we had not personally attended any events at VB and are used to larger venues in NYC/NJ but decided to go ahead based on their strong reviews. Overall they really did a wonderful job, accommodated everything we asked for, and 6 months later all of our guests are still talking about our reception.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this venue!! Jen, Paul , and all of the staff were such a great help in planning for our special day. The moment my husband and I walked into Villa Borghese we knew that we had found our venue. Everything from the cocktail hour to the Viennese hour was so perfect! Our guests keep sending us text messages saying how wonderful the food was at the cocktail hour as well as the rest of the night. We had our cocktail hour in the garden terrace and our guests were able to sit outside and enjoy drinks and food. We defiantly will be recommending Villa Borghese to our friends and family for their next big event!

I got married at Villa Borghese in September. I loved the staff they were very attentive to our needs and always asking if we needed anything. We had open bar the whole time and again the staff was wonderful giving any drink you wanted. I absolutely LOVED our event planner Jennifer Rodriguez. From day one when we were looking at the venue she was awesome! She made us feel at home and explained how the venue is in detail and showed us around the site. I cannot say enough good things about Villa. They decorated to our liking and made sure that the reception area was stunning. I would highly recommend them for weddings or other parties.

The Villa Borghese did an amazing job for our October wedding. The service was amazing, starting with the Bridal suite. My Bridal party and I were immediately directed there and had a wonderful experience. Champagne was waiting, and the staff attended to our needs. The Villa did a great job directing the ceremony to the reception. The rooms and lighting are stunning. All our guests were very pleased with the atmosphere and the food! Jennifer at VB was so helpful in everything! Correspondence with their office was timely and answered any questions or concerns we had. This venue has the most amazing food for cocktail hour AND the dinner. Not only were they absolutely beautiful during they day but they really were amazing at night too. Everything was perfect. I couldn't be happier. My wedding was August 20th, 2016 and I know for a fact that everyone had a great time. If I could do it all over again I would still pick Villa Borghese each and every time!

I always knew that if I got engaged, I would want to get married here. My sister got married at Villa Borghese 6 years ago and everything was so beautiful. It was the same for my July 8 wedding. The venue was even more beautiful than I remembered with all the updates they did. The food, everyone raved about afterwards! I really couldn't have asked for anything better. We originally planned to get married outside but with the pending rain and heat we decided to move everything inside. It still looked amazing! The people at Villa Borghese were so accommodating. They made sure we got everything we wanted to make our day perfect. Specifically Jennifer who was absolutely amazing at her job! She made the whole \"stressful\" process not stressful at all. Always communicating and helping in any way possible! She's so down to earth and fun to be around! Also, my waiter Miguel was so awesome that he made sure I had a drink in my hand all night, didn't even have to ask! If anyone is looking for a venue to get married I HIGHLY recommend Villa Borghese. The prices are reasonable, the place is so elegant, the people are incredible, and the food is amazing! It's really hard to find all of that in one anymore!

We had our wedding at the Villa Borghese earlier this month. Words cannot express how perfect our wedding was. They are very reasonably priced and have multiple packages to choose from. From day one, the Villa answered all of our questions, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The day of the wedding, our wedding coordinator, Jen, was fantastic and organized the ceremony. The food was amazing and beyond plentiful, the atmosphere was great, and our maitre'd, Miguel, was more than accommodating. The Villa Borghese truly cares about their wedding couples and want your wedding day to be everything you imagined. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and do not have one bad thing to even say about the Villa. We highly recommend them and cannot thank them enough for everything they have done to make our wedding everything we imagined and more!

I always dreamed of having my wedding here (attended a previous wedding there). Everything had been great until the day of. It started with me bringing decorations and the lady put a cart at the top of the stairs and said put your stuff here and went back to the office. No one else did a thing to help. When I arrived to the bridal suite it was hot and humid because the AC was out. I was sweating and my makeup was melting off before I even walked down the aisle. When I complained I was told they would bring a fan, which never came.A quick rain shower came through but the sun was shining 30 minutes before the ceremony was to start. Not 1 person asked what we wanted to do; they just started moving the ceremony inside without asking. It was our officiant who let us know what was happening, not their staff! What should have taken 5 mins to wipe off the chairs took over 20 because they only had 1 person do the job. After my guests were finally seated, I noticed them getting up and moving to the side of the chairs, after the ceremony I found out they had white paint on them! I was told the chairs had not been painted that day, but it was clear to me the paint was not dry and the rain made it even worse! Paul said he would pay for dry cleaning or a new outfit, which was a great gesture, but all my pictures show everyone with pain on them! The bridal party had photos taken while guests were attending the cocktail hour and afterwards we went to the suite for our promised private cocktail hour. We found a plate with 6 meatballs for a party of 18? Since this was promised to us, we went to the matre de, who rudely let us know they had no more. She suggested we go join the cocktail hour with our guests! No apology for what they failed to deliver and had been promised! When we entered our reception (only 15 mins late), I felt like the coordinators just disappeared. We had 2 waiters and 1 bartender for 137 guests. The service was horrible and the bartenders were rude to not only us, but our guests as well. Worse yet, our food did not arrive until 9:40pm and the wedding ended at 11pm. In 45 mins we had to do the father-daughter, mother-son, anniversary dances, cake cutting, garter & bouquet toss. With all we had to do in that time, eating wasn’t really an option and having not gotten the food in the promised private cocktail hour, we were starving! Then they placed the food right in the middle of the dance floor and no one could continue dancing!When it came to clean up, the lady was very rude. She said hurry up and get your items, your DJ ran over 10 minutes! I said I'm sorry but we didn't even get fed until 9:30 and it ended at 10:15!!!! Then I was told the candles I brought couldn’t come home with me. They were mine; I brought them. When I explained that, she slammed the box down and said \"here then put them all in here!”Our day was ruined, and we were beyond upset. So we went the next day to express our disappointment and no one was there to speak to. I feel like as soon as they got paid, they stopped caring. Everyone had been so attentive until the day of my wedding/final payment. I wish I could redo our wedding but we can’t. I recommended this place to so many people and I regret it. I just can't get over the way everyone was treated. We didn't even take a honeymoon as all our money went into what was supposed to be a memorial, perfect event as we were promised. It’s not what we got, and I would never recommend them.

My wedding was everything I ever imagined and so much more. The place is absolutely stunning. I highly suggest everyone to at least take a tour. And the food is to die for! I had my wedding at the villa Borghese 9/12/15. When my husband and I arrived at the villa the lobby was packed with our guest and guest from a different wedding. I found out later that eveing that the villa was having three weddings. There was no one in the lobby to greet us nor our guest. My husband and I were told that our guest would be served our signature drink and other refreshments if they arrived early but no one was offering any drinks to the guest. Myself and my husband were standing in the lobby waiting for someone to export us to the bridal suite. Imagines bride looking lost in her long gown waiting to be able to go to the suite to freshen up and get something to eat. Finally after 45 mins of standing the lobby after my husband complained did someone say \"it's been really busy today.\" Really? This isn't something I want to bear when it's the most important day of my life! Finally we were escorted upstairs and our guest were told where cocktail hour was being held. Shortly after we were greeted by our Matrie D Miguel who was very nice and you can tell he was working really hard to get our room setup how we wanted it. We specifically told the Villa that our place cards were being used as wedding favors and we wanted the mini wine bottles to be placed inside of the ballroom later to find out they were placed outside of the room. My husband and I left the room to go up to the bridal suite to retrieve my shoes when I seen a few bottles left on the table for guest who did not show up to later come down to see those bottles were missing. While my husband and I were walking upstairs to the suite we seen people looking at the bottles that were not our guest. My assumption is that the took them as we had no bottles given back to us at the end of the night. Our dinner was served to our guest extremely late. The Villa Borghese's service was really lack luster. I do not think they should host 3 weddings at a time as they do not have the staff to handle so many people and a wedding is a special moment were it should be valued as that. It's not a random party. To put the icing on the cake when we booked with the villa the first invoice they sent my husband and I they had my husband's last name spelt wrong which I called immediately and Paul Porco assured me that it would be changed in the system. When we came back from our honeymoon there was a survey waiting for us with our last name spelled wrong. So much for caring for someone's wedding and changing the name in the system. I would not recommend the Villa Borghese to anyone who is getting married as you would not feel special on the most important day of your life.

The planning process was fairly straightforward given the amenities in place and Erica and the team were very flexible and accommodating of our needs throughout the process. We are so incredibly happy with how everything turned out and it is all thanks to the Villa Borghese! To start we chose all our vendors at the bridal show they hosted the year before. During all of our appointments leading up to the wedding Sarah, Paul and Joseph all helped with choosing a room, a menu, and even a color scheme. They truly make everything significantly less stressful by adding there professional opinion. We had our ceremony outside in the garden with the decorations provided by the Villa and it was perfect and incredibly convenient to be able to walk right into the reception. We decided to join our guests for cocktail hour and I am so glad we did ! The food was delish! It was exactly what we all needed after such a long day. Walking into the reception room (crystal room) both my husband and I were blown away, we made a lot of the decorations and we couldn't have imagined the room looking that good ! It was like a movie. The dinner itself was amazing it really impressed our guests. The servers were great, very friendly and always right there if you needed anything. They asked what we were drinking and made sure every time we sat down we had a fresh drink waiting for us. At one point we sat back and just had to soak it all in the Villa Borghese truly made us feel so special!! \r

Overall the place was great for the food and the atmosphere but the people that work there were terrible! So much happened, here are the highlights:\r*Wedding coordinator was never around weeks leading up to wedding and was never introduced to her replacement if we had one the day of the wedding\r*Mrs. Porco (the former owner's wife) was not friendly greeting my guests as they arrived and never congratulated us\r*Mrs. Porco even admitted to me after I came inside from taking pictures with a black purse instead of white purse that \"we were laughing about it.\" I had no idea who she was and it was rude. I thought she was guest of one of the other parties not an employee. \r*Management never once approached us or my parents to double check that we were ok or needed anything and not congratulated\r*We knew some guests couldn't attend and we were paying for their plates and taking home those plates. The maître d' never told my parents that we had 9 additional table cards that weren't spoken for so we never had the opportunity to take those dinners home as well even though we paid for them. My mom found the cards on the gift table hours later.\r*Guests were not given top shelf liquor even though it was part of our package\r*Received the wrong cake and when Joe Porco came over he was defensive not apologetic and questioned whether I knew what I ordered. He was reluctant to resolve the situation and was practically arguing with me and my husband which was tasteless. He made no apology and didn't try to comfort us. It ended up being the bakery's fault when we called the next day. \r*Photo booth attendant had no common sense for putting the pictures and pages together and wasn't engaging with the guests. \r*We paid for an extra half hour at the end of the reception ending it at 12:30am. They shut 1 bar down at 11:30pm and the DJ announced last dance at 11:50pm. The second bar closed immediately and the lights came up and the waiters began cleaning up. One of our guests pointed it out because she knew it was supposed to go til 12:30. \r*My mom approached Joe and told him that we paid for the extra half an hour. He told her that was for the extra half an hour at cocktail hour. She advised him that we talked to Stanley, and we agreed on the half an hour of cocktail hour free and paid for the half an hour to extend the reception. It was on our contract (which he clearly never read). It was also printed on our paid receipt when we paid the final check on Wednesday, two days before the wedding. He was so rude and finally after my mom insisted that she wanted her refund for something she paid for and did not get, she got a refund check while waiting for the shuttle bus. \r*It's either incompetence on whoever was running the wedding because they didn't look at the contract or they're banking on everyone being drunk and not notice these issues to address immediately. Simply looking at our LEGAL CONTRACT would have avoided him arguing with us at ANY POINT of the night. There was no need for him to deflect blame and be defensive and annoyed.\r*My mom wrote a letter to Stanley Porco after the wedding and we just received a sloppy letter back without official letterhead that says they're happy we liked the food, but they disagree with what happened and have chosen to not discuss this issue with us. What company says that?? A simple thank you and we're sorry goes a long way but clearly there's no courtesy with this venue.\r

My wedding was this past Saturday. Everything turned out spectacular! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and overall perfect. Before I even got out of the limo, there was a waiter outside to get me a drink! Everyone loved the food and thought the service was excellent. The staff was on top of everything every step of the way. The planner we dealt with - Erica - was fantastic, she happily answered my millions of questions and emails right away. They truly made planning easy. As soon as we walked into the building, we knew we wanted to have our reception here - it is absolutely beautiful; no other halls compared. I am so happy I chose to go with Villa and if I had to do this over, I would, without a doubt, choose Villa Borghese again.

This venue is beautiful! The staff is very welcoming and accommodating to their customers so that you are able to truly make your day one-of-a-kind. They allowed me to make my own place cards and table numbers, gift holder, and to bring in a vintage lamp. I'm sure I could have done more on my own as well, but I was very happy with most of the items the venue provided (e.g., ceremony decor and reception table centerpieces). They were efficient in setting everything up as I instructed them.\r\rThe ceremony space and reception hall are both stunning. The grounds are well kept and facilities are very clean. The lighting in the reception hall is also very nice. The food taste and quality was good. \r\rA couple of things that were not the best-- we were supposed to have a strip steak for our meal and they served prime rib. Also, they appeared a bit unorganized before the ceremony (e.g., told me a staff member would be helping me and she did not and we had to ask them to set up a few things for the ceremony even though I had previously instructed them about this), but all ended up running smoothly. \r\rOverall, a great place to have a wedding and I hope to attend weddings there in the future!

I can not say enough positive things about the Villa Borghese. They were absolutely amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process.\r\rWhen you go there for your tour, you are assigned a personal wedding planning assistant who will answer any and all questions you have along the way. I worked with Erica, and she was fantastic. Always answered my emails quickly and never got annoyed no matter how many questions I asked.\r\rOne of the best things about this venue is there are no hidden or extra fees. They do not charge you to have your ceremony there. There is no cake cutting fee or anything along those lines. You pay per plate for the package of your choice, and that's it. The only extra charges are if you want to have your ceremony decorated with flowers, or if your officiant can't make the rehearsal and they need to provide someone. That's it. Also, included in your package are the centerpieces for all your tables, and the cake. \r\rTwice a year, they hold a Bridal Show there. Going to that show was the best decision I made while planning my wedding. Instead of reading reviews of vendors, I actually got to meet and talk to them. I met my photographer and DJ there, and even had a chance to chat with Liz, the florist who does the centerpieces for the venue. If you're planning a wedding at the VB GO TO THE BRIDAL SHOW, and do it before deciding on any vendors. \r\rMy wedding was flawless. Even though it rained and we had to have the ceremony inside (instead of in the beautiful garden), they set everything up so wonderfully that I'm not even upset about the rain. They coordinated every moment smoothly and truly catered to my husband and me, making sure that there were no surprises and we were happy throughout the night. I honestly do not have one complaint or negative thing to say about this place or the staff. \r\rIt's been 2 months since my wedding and people are still raving about it. They can not stop talking about how amazing all the food was, and how beautiful the VB is. And OMG, the Viennese hour! If you choose to have your wedding here, you will not regret it!\r\r\r

Villa Borghese went above and beyond my expectations. The staff was professional and service was impeccable. Because the venue is an all inclusive, I didn't have to worry about my cake, centerpieces linens etc. They also helped me find my vendors which was a life saver. Sarah and Joe helped me with my ceremony and kept me a ease the whole night. My maître di Miguel was great and was able to speak to our family who spoke Spanish he made sure we were taken care of the whole night. My guest to this day still talk about how great the food and the evening was. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride looking for a beautiful wedding.

My husband and I got married at the Villa Borghese on July 11th of this year. It was an absolutely magical experience. From beginning to end, Villa took care of each and every detail. The staff and service is on point, professional, warm, and just amazing. The food was absolutely amazing!!! Everything down to the lighting, floral arrangements, just everything was perfect and honestly exceeded my expectations. When I first saw our room (the maitre d and head waitress showed it to us first, during cocktail hour), I literally started crying because I could not believe how incredible it was. I am tearing up right now just thinking of it!!! The cake was also extremely delicious and as I said every single detail was taken care of. Everyone still tells us how much they loved our wedding. My grandmother came up to me afterwards and told me it was one of the best weddings she has ever been to in her life. (She has probably been to thousands of weddings in her lifetime!) Also worth mentioning which sets the Villa apart, from the beginning they assign you to an event planner who helps you plan your perfect day. Our event planner, Erica, was absolutely wonderful, so professional and so down to earth. She guided and helped me through the wedding planning process, keeping me sane and helping me in thousands of ways to plan the perfect wedding. Another thing is that it is incredibly affordable. I couldn't believe the price!!! I can't even say it enough times, have your wedding at the Villa, and they will give you your dream wedding. I am so glad we did, and we will have wonderful memories for a lifetime (and so do our guests, who still months later are talking about our wedding and saying how amazing it was!!) Bravo, Villa Borghese...5 stars!!!

After looking through a few venues online with my husband, I found a few that were good pricing within our budget. We went to Villa Borghese as our final stop and we knew that was going to be the spot. Its recently renovated and looks amazing. They have a very cute gazebo in front where we were able to take some nice pictures. We did a food tasting which is free for the bride and groom and we both can't say enough good things about the food. During the whole process we worked very closely with Sarah who was always there to help answer any questions no matter how silly. Everyone who went to our wedding was raving about how great the food was, and it was such a good price for everything that was included. In the bridal suite they brought us apps and drinks it was always stocked. We had an onsite reception and it happened to be raining so the staff set up our ceremony inside in the same room where the dinner was, and immediately after broke it back down and set up for the reception. Everything looked perfect when we walked back in to be introduced. During the reception they were so attentive, we never had an empty glass or plate in front of us. Overall a great experience!

I was married at the Villa Borghese on July 27th, 2014. For 13 months I worked with Erica Vasquez and she was SO helpful.I originally chose the Villa because it did not have a hideous rug and was glowing in marble and stone accent. I decided on the Queen package which had more food than one could imagine. I was married in the garden, cocktail hour upstairs and reception in the Crystal Room and the entire night was complimented on the beauty of the venue, the quantity AND quality of food, quick and delicious open bar and the focused attention of all the staff. Having family from Long Island and Westchester I knew there may be critical opinions, however, I was told over and over that it was \"the best and most detail oriented wedding\" they had been to. My husband, my mother and I never had to worry about a single thing the day of the wedding and we could not have asked for anything better. The Villa Borghese is magnificent! HIGHLY recommended.

was married there on memorial day weekend 2014. Everything was beautiful and went smoothely. Food was great and everyone had a great time. Only complaint is the bridal suite it was felt like a 100 degrees in there not comfortable and not able to relax in there. Everything else was great including staff especially our waiter Kevin was amazing.

I held both my ceremony and my reception at villa borghese! The ceremony was held at 630pm which was nice because the lighting and decor set a wonderful ambiance. I didnt have much time to enjoy my cocktail hour but my guests raved about the abundance and quality of food. The reception was everything I could as for and more. Although they are particular about using their own florist and bakery I couldnt have been happier with the flowers and the cake! They did everything I had asked and my guests still wont stop raving about everything weeks later! To top it off their prices couldnt be more reasonable!

The Villa was the perfect venue for our wedding. Sarah was an amazing planner and very easy to work with. She answered our questions quickly and would e-mail to check on us through the whole process. The venue is beautiful both inside and out. We had our ceremony outside a d it was beautiful. Up till a 1/2 hour before the wedding they were seeing if we wanted to move it inside bc of the possibility if rain. The upstairs cocktail room was great with a inside and outside space. The reception room looked amazing! It was perfect. The food was amazing and all our guests were acing about it. All the servers and bar tenders were very hard works and accommodating! We were able to get everything we needed and wanted. It was a awesome day and I would not have changed anything!

We had our wedding reception at Villa Borghese and it was the most wonderful experience ever. They were so helpful with everything needed and the price could not be beat for the quality we received. The service was beyond impeccable, and the owners were present and available for anything needed. The food was amazing and the cocktail hour was extensive and not a thing missed. We had such an easy time dealing with everyone there and could not have asked for better. Thank you Villa Borghese! We've been told by all of our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

My husband and I evaluated many different venues to host our wedding. We selected Villa Borghese because of all the helpful services, which made our wedding planning easier with our extremely busy schedules. Our event planner, Sarah, accomodated our schedules while we planned our event and provided support to us throughout planning making it easy and stressfree.\r\rThey provided a wonderful and useful packet to guide us through every step of planning , which also contained vendor contacts. We worked with their some of their recommended vendors (for example, Bakery: La Deliziosa Pastry Shoppe & Florist: J&L Heavenly Florist) all of whom did a fantastic job! Many other vendors were recommended and there were a few that we were familiar with from other events in the Hudson Valley region (DJ: Jimmy Dee Music Productions & Photography: Fantasy Flash Photography & Video).\r\rVilla Borghese is absolutely beautiful and the venue stood out to us among many of the other venues we visited. The renovations they have done and continue to do are spectacular. There are many beautiful areas that allow for A-M-A-Z-I-N-G photo opportunities both during the day and at night.\r\r We are extremely grateful to the staff at Villa Borghese for helping to make our wedding memorable! Everything fell into place perfectly on our wedding day! The staff was friendly, helpful and accomodating to everyone. Our guests were well taken care of throughout the course of the event. They accomodated guests with specific dietary concerns, which was extremely important to us. The food was spectacular and was endless! We received praises from our guests about the event for which we cannot thank Villa Borghese enough!

Joe my planner was so accomodating in all of my last minute requests- from changing the location of the ceremony room, to checking in to see how everything was. All of the staff is most helpful. I would certainly recommend the Villa Borghese for any occassion.

Villa Borghese is a wonderful wedding venue in all aspects. GREAT value - the lowest price we found out of many venues close to NYC, AND much nicer than almost all other venues we visited. So much more is included VB’s package than other venues we visited, and without any hidden fees. For example, VB does not charge a service fee, cake cutting fee, etc. A wedding assistant is included in the package. She is extremely well-informed and helped us make all the decisions we needed to make. During the planning phase, we visited several times to decide on food, decoration, etc, and VB was very flexible and accommodated our schedules every time.\r\rThe venue is beautifully decorated and recently renovated with great places for photos. You can have your ceremony at VB for no additional cost. \r\rEverything fell into place perfectly on our wedding day. The VB staff is very organized, attentive, friendly, and helpful. Food was delicious. We really liked the appetizers, and we would recommend the rib-eye steak, salmon, and swordfish for entrées. The included wedding cake was delicious. The Champaign and signature drinks were also very good. They let us use any part of the venue that wasn’t being used to take photos. \r\rThe one complaint is that Villa Borghese requires you to use specific florists for the ceremony and the reception. VB’s packages come with reception centerpieces provided by Heavenly Florists, however you if you choose not to use the package centerpieces you can use any other florist. This is not the case for the ceremony, for which you could only use one specific florist. The reception florist was wonderful, however the ceremony florist was very difficult to work with. She had unreasonable prices, would not communicate very basic facts about her packages, and refused to show photos of flowers we were paying exorbitant prices for. We would recommend allowing the reception florist (Liz at J&L Heavenly Florist) to do the ceremony as well since she was so wonderful, helpful, flexible, reasonable, and responsive.

We could not have been happier with our decision to have our reception at Villa Borghese. Everything was absolutely perfect! Our event planner, Erica, was great to work with; she even arranged to have someone there earlier than usual so our cake decorator (also one of my bridesmaids) could drop off the cake and be back in time for pictures. The prep staff did a wonderful job with the room; it was beautiful. They even put our lighted centerpieces on their own mirrors and surrounded them with tealights, which made them look amazing. And the service staff was phenomenal. They made sure we and all of our guests were very well taken care of. And the food! Delicious!!! If I had to do it all again, I'd still choose Villa Borghese. Everyone involved went the extra mile and beyond to make sure our wedding day was the best it could be.

My husband and I had originally attended a 50th birthday party at Villa Borghese in Oct. 2011. All we could remeber was how much fun we had and how excellent the food was. So after checking out several different venues in the area we decided to make an appt with Villa Borghese to see the place durning the day. We fell in love with the place the second we saw it! The minute we saw the cocktail room \"The Venetian\" my husband and I looked at each other in sync and knew right then and there that this would be the place we would be having our wedding. They had just started renovating and from what we could see we already knew this place would be Gorgeous once it was all done. So of course we had to put a hold on the date before leaving. We went home and talked about it and decided that August 31, 2012 it would be! We had the honor of working with Erica Vazquez - Event Planner she was the BEST!!! I contstantly emailed her or called her and she was always there for me. We had the most amazing Wedding from our outside ceremony to our reception in the Crystal room. The waitstaff and everyone working our event were beyond amazing! They were courteous, and helpful. We had all our family and friends talking for days about our Wedding. I absolutely recommend the Villa Borghese for an event!

I don't think we could have made a better choice for our wedding. Everyone at the Villa Borghese was just so easy to work with. The entire Porco family was so accommodating, we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Our wedding was this past August 17th and our family and friends are still talking about what a fabulous time they had, how beautiful the place was and how great the food was. I think the only disappointment my husband and I had was that we were so busy we never ate, even though we were really excited about the menu. We also did the Viennese hour, and it was way beyond what we expected. We really had a great experience. I wish we could do it all over again. Thanks Erica....and many thanks to the Porco Family for a great experience.

Absolutely Amazing !!!! The Villa Borghese did such a wonderful job for my special day Oct 6, 2012. I couldnt have asked for anything better! Joe and Paul Porco make a great team and made my wedding planning a breeze. They gave excellent recomendations and adviced on how to plan, and make my visions into a reality. We had our coctail hour upstairs and it was a beautiful day so we got to use the terrace outside so there was plenty of room. The reception followed into the Grand Ballroom and the new lighting matched my color scheme, it was awesome! Our Maître d' was Miguel and he was always right there, he always made sure we had a drink in our hand and that we were having fun! The food was out of this world, and the guests are still raving about it, the salmon seemed to be the favorite but i l loved the Filet mignon and the twice baked potatoes... i even aked for another one!! They had all the food out in a timely fashion so noone was rushed, and yet we had plenty of time to dance. We had 170 people at our wedding and i have yet to hear one complaint.The Viannese Hour definitly WOWed our guests, the sparklers, ice sculptures, and desserts were to die for.We had a wild group of people and the dance floor was always packed and the staff was always professional, and did a great job handling our guests.I even had a popcorn and pretzel machine delivered and the staff and the villa set it up and handed the goodies out. There was another wedding going on at the same time and that posed no problems for me, i still got to take all my pictures and never saw the other bride at all. I can not express how HAPPY i am with how my wedding turned out and I even left telling them i wanted to do it all over again!!!

I cannot stop getting compliments from my guests about how beautiful my wedding was! I was supposed to be married outside at the Villa, however just an hour before mother nature had other plans for us. The staff quickly shifted all guests, and set up the beautiful indoor ceremony site for us. It wasn't what I originally wanted but went off without a hitch. Some guests didn't even realize the ceremony location was changed at the last minute. The staff was helpful and accommodating the entire time. My only regret is that I can't relive it over and over!

We had our wedding at the Villa Borghese this past weekend and everything was PERFECT. The guests raved about the food and the venue. All of the servers were courteous and accommodating. Everything ran smoothly, I didn't have to worry about anything. We loved that all of the necessities (cake, centerpieces, table linens, ceremony, cocktail hour... even gratuity!) were included in the price. We couldn't have picked a better place!

I recently got married at the villa Borghese! The family are so kind and caring! They did everything in their power to make my day special! Everything was beautifully and correctly displayed! The food was great and the staff was always on top of everything! We has 130 people and each person was taken great care of! So many of my guests had nothing but positive and great things to say about the reception place and staff! My wedding was incredible and perfect thanks to them! I highly recommend them! My only complaint is that I wish they provided bus shuttles or taxi services for guests! It would benefit them for guests who drink and would like to stay at nearby hotels without worrying to drive!

I would highly recommend the Villa. The staff was soo helpful everyday up until the wedding and on the wedding day i couldnt ask for anything more. They took care of everything for us. The only bad thing was they dont have a room to keep your things in throughout the wedding, but we were lucky and got to keep it in the cocktail room upstairs because the other weddings were not using the room.

Villa Borghese is the perfect place for your wedding. I truly didn't have to worry about anything the day of my wedding - they took care of it all for me. They set up my room just as I wanted it and everything looked amazing. The staff there is incredible and a special thanks goes out to Erica who helped me plan everything from the very beginning. The Villa Borghese was absolutely amazing! They were so helpful and my wedding day was perfect. It was a destination wedding but I didn't have to worry about anything. The staff was so helpful and they took care of everything. I got so many comments on how good the food was and how great it all looked. I couldn't have gotten a better deal anywhere else...with the venue, food, cake, centerpieces, and all the planning. I looked at so many wedding venues when trying to find the perfect place to have my wedding and I'm so so glad I went with Villa Borghese!

Absolutely fabulous! They are so nice and are so detail oriented. My emails were answered in a flash as were my phone calls. The place is beautiful! As soon as I arrived the owner walkie talkied a staff member after asking me if I needed anything. I said a glass of wine would take the edge off and I had a staff member greet me with white glove service and a glass of wine was brought out to me on a serving tray! How awesome was that?! The cocktail hour and reception was flawless. I wish I could do it again! :)

I had my reception at the Villa Borghese. Almost every person we dealt with went above and beyond to ensure I had a perfect wedding day. From the owner to the wait staff, every person was committed to providing the best service they possibly could. \r\rThere was so much food and everything was exceptionally delicious.\r\rMy only cautionary advice is to those with food allergies... please endlessly remind anyone you can that you have a food allergy. This is the only detail that was overlooked on my wedding day.

We looked at A LOT of places for our wedding. We knew as soon as we entered the building that it was the place, but we thought it would be out of our price range. After receiving a tour and hearing about their packages and NO ADDED FEES...we were sold! They were awesome all along the process, very accomodating, especially considering how many weddings they do a year. The event was fabulous, no issues whatsoever! We HIGHLY recommend them!!
