Villa Woodbine is a mansion wedding venue located in Miami, FL. This Mediterranean Renaissance-inspired estate’s origins date back to the early 1930s, and the property is an ideal location for couples wishing to celebrate their union in style. Villa Woodbine was designed by esteemed architect Walter de Garmo back in 1931. It has since been lovingly restored and is one of the last remaining estates left in the Coconut Grove region from that era. The estate is surrounded by grand oak trees and landscaped gardens, offering a charming backdrop for wedding photographs. The manicured gardens are also a perfect spot to enjoy a drink or two as you mingle with guests. The venue offers an array of options to celebrate your ceremony and reception. For example, you can opt to exchange vows in one of the property’s numerous spacious tented areas, which can accommodate parties up to 220 guests. These Cuban-inspired event spaces offer polished wooden flooring and come complete with a large dance floor. Get-ready rooms are provided on-site, allowing you and your beloved to prepare for your special day with ease. A dedicated valet service is available, and the venue also offers wheelchair access for your convenience. The team at Villa Woodbine provides a number of wedding services to help make your milestone occasion even more special. Their expert coordination staff offers various wedding packages to suit every style and budget, and they can design custom packages also. They begin the process with an in-depth consultation and, from there, will collaborate with you to devise a plan that best suits your needs. The experienced team can also cater to events such as engagement parties, pre-wedding parties, and next-day celebrations. They are also happy to assist with the setup and teardown of event areas on the day. Additional services the venue provides include bar and catering services, and the team can provide cake cutting services too. Additionally, they are happy to facilitate your favored vendors, but can also provide a list of trusted wedding businesses in the locality. For your convenience, event rentals such as tables, chairs, and linens are also provided by the property.

Villa Woodbine is truly one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Miami! It rained on our wedding day so we put up a clear tent and it truly felt like a fairytale with the string lights and droplets of rain. The staff at the venue was incredible and Sandra was an awesome venue coordinator to work with. I am still getting compliments about how great the food was and how beautiful the garden was!

Villa Woodbine is truly one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Miami! We had the most magical wedding at Villa Woodbine. Thanks to our producers Gen and Camila and the staff at Bill Hansen Catering, everything turned out perfectly and exceeded our expectations. From the food to the service and beautiful ambiance, it was a 10/10 experience. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was, and that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! I highly recommend Bill Hansen Catering for your event needs and especially Villa Woodbine for a wedding.

We had our daughter’s wedding at this unique and beautiful venue. It was such a pleasure to have Ms Eden assist us with all the arrangements. She is a very delightful, patient and understanding person who worked with us throughout the entire process. The outdoor wedding ceremony and the follow-up reception turned out to be a blast. Everything was very meticulously arranged and the event turned out to be great success. The wedding stage, the reception, valet parking, bar, dinner, dancing, music, lighting and every other small detail was very well taken care of by Ms Eden’s team. Everything went so smoothly. All our guests were very happy and all of them complemented very highly on the site, the lighting and the décor. We are very indebted to Ms Eden for providing us such a lovely experience.

She is gracious with class, she is a problem solver and put the bride and groom 1st. Living in South Florida for 6 months now I have come across A-LOT of terrible service, what South Florida lacks is Eden. Villa Woodbine is the best of the best!! Cannot recommend this venue enough! We were planning a wedding from out of state so everything was over phone/email. Gen and her team helped us every step of the way. They were always available when we reached out and followed up so quickly. They offered helpful recommendations which made our wedding planning process so seamless. Found all vendors on the Villa Woodbine Instagram- highly recommend Summer Nicole for day of coordinator and Erika at Miami Center Pieces for florals! Our guests had the best time and told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had! We agree! The unique drinks and creative apps were very impressive and I am a big time foodie!! All in all our wedding was an absolute dream from the planning process to the execution. Gen is a true delight to work with and went above and beyond for us! Also Lina with Lyt Productions was an angel with helping plan all of the live musicians and hora loca dancers! If you want your wedding planning process to be stress free and want an incredible event to wow your guests, you absolutely have your wedding at Villa Woodbine!! We heard peacocks during the exchanging of our vows, what more can you ask for!!!

It is a delicious place to get married - we had guests raving about the food and drinks all night long. And it is an easy place to get married - our venue manager was prompt and answered all our questions and helped us through our two-year postponement, the event staff put up everything and seamless merged the ceremony area into the dinner area, and the wait staff was incredibly prompt and polite (the bar tender came out from behind the bar at one point to ask if there was anything she could get me). As soon as we visited when initially looking at venues, we absolutely LOVED it and there really was no where better to host our wedding. Despite being on a major road through Coconut Grove, you would never know. Its tucked away and feels so secluded, but its so close to hotels, restaurants, and other things for our guests to do. It feels quintessentially \"Miami\" without going over the top. We could go on. Absolutely incredible venue.

We had to move our wedding twice due to the pandemic and both times Eden and her team were sublime. So helpful, so kind, and unbelievably knowledgeable.Last, the wedding is stunning! My wife and I got so many compliments on our wedding day and the pictures are breathtaking. I cannot recommend this place enough!

My husband and I just got married at Villa Woodbine this past weekend. From the first interaction we had with Eden and the venue we were so impressed and very well taken care of. The venue helps you with just about everything - flowers, vendors, food, alcohol, cigar roller, photo booth, deserts, midnight snacks... I chose not to get a wedding planner and thought I was able to do it all since the venue was so inclusive and helpful. I would def. recommend you to consider this gorgeous venue as I know all of my guest were blown away. It was truly a fairytale wedding for us.

If you’re searching for a romantic, sophisticated, historical garden as your wedding venue, look no further than Villa Woodbine. Villa Woodbine was everything we wanted in a venue and more! It provides the perfect backdrop for an enchanting wedding. The house has an old Spanish architectural design and is right off South Bayshore Drive, conveniently located less than a mile from Coconut Grove, but you would never know because as soon as you go up that driveway you feel like you are transported to Miami in the 1920s or old world Europe. Villa Woodbine is stunning during the day - sunlight fills the courtyard and highlights the stunning bougainvillea and fauna around the house - but at night, the Villa is pure magic. The string lights light up the entire back lawn and paint a perfect scene of what a romantic wedding should look like. We chose to have our ceremony in an unconventional part of the lawn with jungle greens as our backdrop and could not be more happy with how everything turned out. Our guests could not stop raving about how stunning it was!In addition to the Villa itself, we cannot say enough great things about the food and the customer service of the VW staff. The food is incredible. You will not be getting standard wedding food here - this is high end restaurant quality. Not only is it the best wedding food we’ve ever had, but the Bill Hansen Catering staff worked with us to create a unique menu based on anything we desired. We chose two of their classic stations, the Cuban and the Fire and Ice, but we also made our own station based on our travels to France, Spain, and Thailand. They absolutely nailed it and the green curry with rice was one of the best rated items on our menu! They were extremely flexible in working with what we wanted. Our one complaint with the venue was based around the rescheduling of dates since we had to reschedule twice due to the pandemic. They gave away a date that we had reserved. However, the staff took full responsibility for their mistake. In the end, we chose a Monday wedding date and the staff made even more of an effort to make it feel like a Saturday night. As the bride, I chose to get ready with my bridesmaids at the Villa in the bridal suite where we had our own access to the balcony overlooking the courtyard and back lawn. I could not have been happier to spend the day getting ready at Villa Woodbine and being able to take full advantage of our venue. We didn’t want the night to end and cannot recommend Villa Woodbine enough!

The place had to be a garden with lots of green. Villa Woodbine has it all, from the touch of elegant antiquity to the garden that seems to be care by real fairies. I have no words to thank Genevieve and Jenni who made my life so easy by answering all my questions and taking care of every little detail. They were the architects of my perfect day; a day I could live in forever. All guests’ compliments of the evening were for the food and service (Ribs, Stake and Risotto) and the Mango Mojito was a plus. I think all brides panic and wonder during the planning process if we chose the perfect dress, the right colors, the perfect place. Villa Woodbine surpassed the perfection of my dream. Words cannot begin to describe how perfect our wedding was thanks to Ashley Morales, Bill Hanson Catering, and the dreamy venue that is Villa Woodbine. My husband and I began planning this wedding in the midst of Covid + on the opposite side of the country and Ashley was more than gracious with her time. She helped us through every step of the way, even getting out ahead of the rain by setting us up with the tent beforehand.The venue was magical, the food to die for (our guest still talk about how delicious all of it was)....there was no place I could've chosen that would ever top Villa Woodbine. Thank you for a perfect night!

Our event producer, Gipsy, was with us every step of the way - answering every email, text message, phone call - all while planning a wedding during the ever changing pandemic. It was an absolute dream, from the venue to the staff to the food (oh my god the food!), it was more than we could have hoped for. We were looking for a place that didn't feel like a typical ballroom, that felt more intimate, homey, more like us. Well, it's been almost a week since my daughters wedding and I'm just coming down from the high! Where to start? Villa Woodbein has weddings or other events daily, (not on the same day! You have the Villa all to yourselves the day of) yet we were treated like we were the only people to ever have a party there!! We decided to get married here in Miami instead! We found Villa Woodbine after a bit of research, and the rest is history! We met with Genevieve at the venue (she is a rockstar, by the way) and planned our dream wedding in less than 3 months. They were able to see our vision and pair us with the most incredible vendors. From the food, to the decor, to the cocktails, everything turned out perfect and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was. It truly was such a fun, easy, and wonderful experience! We loved the venue, it was just what we were looking for in terms of appearance and they really saved us when we lost our first venue. We had an awesome experience and all of our guests were in awe of the views and the food. There were just a few hiccups to note... we had to go through many people which may be normal but I did not like having 3 different contacts to tell things to and they all ended up with different info or answers. On our wedding day after finalizing all things with the venue with Lissette (whom we never saw and apparently switched to Ann day of which concerns me as well), we were missing Our “Mr.” welcome drink of Flor De Cana and fresh mango juice, the rum we chose for the bar was never purchased and my coordinator had them go get it, the dried mangoes on the salads was missing completely, and the rectangular sweetheart table we asked for was the half moon which didn’t go with my garland made by my florist specially for the 6 ft rectangular one we asked for. This was all verified on our final meeting so it was a bit sad that it wasn’t communicated properly to the staff running it that day. They rectified the welcome drink immediately and ran out and bought the rum we had asked for. Communication could have been better And more consistent as we also ended up with an event manager we had never met before, it was not the one we met with on our final meeting who promised to be running things day of. On occasion our invoices were incorrect which concerned me and worried us as it was not consistent and prices kept rising. Other than that food was great, everyone loved it! They brought the groom and I a plate of anything we asked for if we were too busy to eat it, and sent us home with two boxes of desserts which was great and left the extra desserts in the dinning room and people really went to town on them. Delicious!!!!! The service day of was top notch though. The bartenders were super fun and seemed to enjoy their job which I loved. The servers were so nice and always asked me if I needed anything. Our guests had an absolute blast and loved the vibe of the venue and kept saying how beautiful and nice it was there. They are still talking about it! Regardless of the heat we had an amazing time and really enjoyed ourselves! Didn’t stop dancing all night. Thank you again Villa Woodbine for an amazing event!! And thank you Valentina!!

I wanted an intimate evening garden party and the Villa is the perfect location for any bride looking for an outdoor wedding. Their light wrapped live oak is a picture perfect tree to get married under and eating el fresco under the stars surrounded by the lush and well manicured garden created such a magical moment for us and our guests. It was also nice to have the dance floor inside the courtyard so the music wouldn't drown out conversation. As an out of town bride Eden was a dream to work with and always took the time to answer my multiple emails throughout the planning process. Bill Hansen's in house catering team was also top notch. The food was unbelievable and the staff was polite, accommodating, and extremely professional. Their attention to detail is second to none. Their food is incredible, service is amazing and I cannot recommend Eden and the team enough. They exceeded every expectation in every single way.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! We stumbled across this gem when researching venues for our destination wedding in Miami, FL. The venue offers a private setting that feels like home but with an old, rustic Spanish twist. If you love the architecture of Viscaya, this venue offers a more reasonably priced and intimate alternative. FYI, Viscaya and Woodbine were designed by the same architect. Some features we fell in love with:- Courtyard with a fountain - we had our ceremony there.- Spanish tiles on the steps - gorgeous for photo shoots- Rustic/antique furniture and a Chihuly chandelier- Garden - we used this space for the reception but it could easily be used for the ceremony. A gorgeous space!This venue was everything we wanted and more. Guests were so impressed with how beautiful everything came out and are still raving about it. I'd highly recommend!

We used Bill Hansen Catering for our wedding and had it at Villa Woodbine, which owned by them. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Hidden villa in the middle of a jungle. Every room is beautiful and unique. Courtyard is like from fairy tale. I can't imagine better venue for a wedding. Catering service was also on point. Food was very delicious which is not always the case with catering. Diego was our coordinator. He is great. He helped us with everything along the whole year process of planning and changing our minds a million times. Very patient, which I really appreciate. Overall, I wish I can do it again.

I couldn't say enough good things about Villa Woodbine. If you are getting married in Miami, I don't know why you would consider any other venue. We had the pleasure of working with Eden Bauer and Christina Acosta. We live in Singapore, so planning a wedding from halfway around the world should be difficult, but they made sure it was anything but! Eden met with my sister-in-law initially who checked out the venue and came with a list of questions, she then met with us two other times before the wedding, and made sure everything was exactly what we wanted. Christina was a star, made me feel like an absolute celebrity. She took care of any issues that arose, and I didn't feel an ounce of stress the entire day. The venue couldn't be anymore beautiful - from the courtyard, to the bar area, dessert room, to the bridal suite, the tree, and the garden area, it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The food is out of this world good - my guests couldn't compliment it enough. We just did the tacos, tapas, and milkshake martinis stations - which seems simple enough - but it was anything but that! Great detail was given to every aspect of the food and drinks. I'm sure all the coordinators at the venue are great, but if I had the chance to work with Christina again, I absolutely would. She is organized, professional, and very kind of genuine. It was truly a fairytale day!

Having my wedding reception at Villa Woodbine was my best idea, my wedding guests are still talking about the venue months later. First of all, there is a minimum rate, but with my 220 guest list I reached that quickly. The things that add up: $8,000 rental fee, $150/person catering fee. Things that are included: valet service (very professional and quick), catering service (best I've seen at a wedding), best wedding food in town, basic linens/napkins/silverware, bridal suite, basic size tables. (When we added these things together for another venue it came out to equally or more expensive.) Second, all of the people I worked with at Villa Woodbine, from Christina the day of wedding coordinator to Amanda our contact person at the Villa, were exceptionally nice/polite, and went above and beyond my expectations. Finally, the venue itself is extremely memorable. It is a hidden gem in Coconut Grove. I highly recommend!!

Diego and the Bill Hansen Catering team were communicative, enthusiastic, friendly and wonderful to work with. Leading up to the day we were in constant communication and we were confident that in Diego's hands, everything would run smoothly and we were right. Eden has been very professional and helpful in assisting us with our wedding options. We decided not to go to Villa Woodbine but Eden was great with providing us alternatives and other venue possibilities, as well as information on vendors. She was also available to answer any questions or help with any issues. Villa Woodbine is a beautiful place and we would have loved to have our wedding there. Eden has been very professional and helpful in assisting us with our wedding options. We decided not to go to Villa Woodbine but Eden was great with providing us alternatives and other venue possibilities, as well as information on vendors. She was also available to answer any questions or help with any issues. Villa Woodbine is a beautiful place and we would have loved to have our wedding there. Although we cannot actually recommend the place, we definitely recommend working with Eden either at Villa Woodbine or any of the other vendors the company offers.

Villa Woodbine was absolutely the most perfect setting for our wedding. It was romantic, intimate, and gorgeous. The Villa's courtyard and outdoor ceremony area were so beautiful. I could not have chosen a better venue. Sandra, Christina and the staff were super helpful and made our wedding details come to life.

There should be more stars to choose from as the Villa Woodbine and their staff deserve the most amazing review. When I first went to the Villa Woodbine to scope out the place I had just got off work and was not in the mood to tour another venue. To my surprise the Villa was exactly what we wanted! Being from Coconut Grove the Villa felt like home (partially because it’s in the Grove but also because of peacocks that roam the surrounding gardens) though with obvious differences. It is an intimate, elegant historic home with lush landscaping, hidden rooms to entertain, beautiful architecture and interior decorating, and to top it off spectacular service and food! The sales consultant Amanda was extremely attentive and supportive. I was so happy to be working with her! Then I met our day of coordinator, Christina. I was so excited about having Amanda, I was curious to see how things would go with Christina. Christina took the lead and it felt like a true team because of these ladies. They both went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend perfect! Seriously there should be some slip ups but there really weren’t! We received thank you letters from our guests about how beautiful the Villa was. When did guests start sending thank you letters to the wedding hosts?? It should be noted, the food was spectacular! When you go to a tasting you expect the food to come out perfectly cooked which it did, but to my surprise all the entrees came out perfect for our 120 guests. Well done Chef! Also, when touring the venue I was apprehensive about the dancefloor size and location, but after dancing the night away it was a perfect size. I could go on and on, but please know this location and their staff will not disappoint! Thank you Villa Woodbine and your staff for making our day so memorable!!

Villa Woodbine was such a gorgeous place for a wedding reception! It is an old Spanish mansion that sits on well landscaped grounds. You get the entire property for your event so it is private and the food and drinks are awesome - much better than traditional wedding meals. The pictures are specail too due to the character and originality of the property. If you don't want a boring, plain ball room, this is a great alternative.

This place is ok.\rThe house is nice looking at night when lit up, but leaves much to be desired in the way of \"bang for your buck\".\rThe sales staff tries to upsell every little thing and demeans your personal taste if you don't go along for the ride of getting the most expensive option for everything. \rThe food is decent and the facility is average.\rWhat charm the facility could have is lost in its lack of size and function.\rOne bathroom for all the guests is inadequate, especially when placed behind the band. Hope no one with sensitive ears has to go during the reception. \rElectrical, lighting, and \"facility\" limitations become the least of your worries when they shut you down at 11pm due to sound ordinances.\rMy bride started off viewing this place as her dream because of its first impression. That impression quickly wore off. It was unfortunate that we realized this after making the deposit. Any charm and care the staff had towards us was gone as well at that point. We were just another event and paycheck for them.\rDo yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you want a lot for your special day while without feeling the squeeze of restrictions.\r\rAlso, the sales consultant, Lindsey, was very demeaning and unpleasant to work with. I DO NOT recommend working with her at all. If villa woodbine wants to better there services the first thing they should do is let her go. The day of the wedding they sent a tray of hors 'doeuvres of just one of the many we ordered for us to snack on. The bacon wrapped dates. So we (the bride and groom) never got to enjoy or even taste the rest of our hors 'doeuvres because of our lousy assistant Lindsey. We got to hear how good they were from our guests but never tried them ourselves. SMH.

To all you brides - dont look anywhere else but Villa Woodbine! We didnt know about the villa till our wedding planner - Vanessa with Karma Goddes (THE BEST AROUND!!) introduced us to the villa! The villa is a private, elegant, romanitc, affordable, amazing, delicious venue. The staff is amazing, freindly and professional! We had many different ideas - such as a full gosple choir ( THANK YOU MIAMI MASS ) ! Needless to say our wedding was a show stopper even stopping traffic on bayshore drive! We didnt want our wedding to be in a box - hotels are boxes - we wanted to be private and just have our families thier - we wanted delicious food and drinks - and we wanted to be in budjet - VILLA WOODBINE DELIVERED!!!!! Villa Woodbine is a very special place. My, now, husband & I had been to every other venue in south Florida & as soon as we found Villa Woodbine we knew it was perfect! \r\rIt has a beautiful house with several air conditioned rooms, a beautiful fountain courtyard & a stunning garden for your dinner. All of these make great settings for photos. There is a room for the bride to get ready with her girls right on the property, that was very nice! Bill Hansen is the exclusive caterer for Villa Woodbine. His food is excellent & he pays a lot of attention to detail. \r\rThere are two reasons I did not give them 5 stars though, 1. we were supposed to have valet parking & the valets did not show up at the last minute, so our guests had to walk through the rain, 2. they did not give the proper vegan meals to the guests I requested them for, including me, the bride.\r\rIt is a beautiful place with great service though & I highly recommend it if you want to have your wedding in a romantic, tropical dream house!
