Villas By The Sea Resort and Conference Center is an oceanfront resort offering wedding venues located on Jekyll Island, Georgia. If you envision a beach destination wedding, Villas By The Sea is the perfect spot for you. Along with having stunning views in a natural atmosphere, a ballroom for reception venue needs, you will also be able to host guests in villas that feature furnished kitchens, private balconies or patios, and separate living and dining rooms. Guests can also enjoy the large outdoor pool, bike rentals and various island activities before or after your big day to enhance their stay with us for your wedding celebrations. Facilities and Capacity Villas By The Sea hosts ceremonies on the famous Driftwood Beach, our Lawn, and our Rocky cove areas. If you desire the ocean to be right at your back, Driftwood Beach provides the perfect places for an oceanfront ceremony. Other outdoor venues include Driftwood Bluff, Rocky Cove, and our Lawn area, all boasting scenic views. Our Grand Oaks Ballroom venue is here on property to host your reception from 30 to 200 guests. Offering Wedding Venue packages for ceremony & reception venues. You can choose the caterer of your choice for food & non alcoholic beverage services for your event. Tammy is amazing! As we live in England, we needed a wedding coordinator who would work with us and go the extra mile to help plan our special day from overseas. We had the most perfect wedding day at Rocky Cove, Villas by the Sea, Jekyll Island. Tammy ensured that everything went smoothly and helped us with the table decorations, seating chart, catering placement, beach ceremony set-up and much more. We felt from first contact that we were in very good hands and are so thrilled with how beautifully our special day went. We can’t recommend Tammy enough!

The wedding coordinator & planner, Tammy Young was AMAZING! No words can describe how easy she made everything & all the hard work she put in to making our wedding go stress free & smoothly. From the set up, tear down and venue layout to even fixing my plate at the rehearsal dinner so I wouldn't have to hold my wedding dress up while fixing it. She was honestly a huge life savor & the absolute sweetest most kind-hearted person. I would high recommend this wedding venue.

The wedding coordinator & planner, Tammy Young was AMAZING! No words can describe how easy she made everything & all the hard work she put in to making our wedding go stress free & smoothly. I did not use the conference center. Ours was just a small wedding on the beach. The Resort would have been fabulous if there had not been dump trucks carrying loads of rock in all day long every day making a tremendous amount of noise

Led by Tammy Young, the Villas by the Sea team was wonderful. Tammy was very helpful in answering my questions and accomodating my requests leading up to and throughout the event. She even went above and beyond the call of duty and helped put on chair covers and sashes (while my setup crew was having a blast at the bachelorette party). When i entered the venue, just before my bridal entrance, guess who was there comforting my flower girl. Tammy! It's the little things that truly stand out to me. The day was one I'll never forget. Thank you Villas by the Sea!

Tammy was great to work with and the location was perfect! Hurricane Irma took out the garden and pavilion which were our 2 ideas for ceremony locations. Fortunately, because of Irma, it took down trees so we were able to have our ceremony on the lawn looking out to the ocean. I would definitely recommend Villas by the Sea!

We really got lucky with this space! February wedding in S. GA can be dicey with weather changes but was WELL worth it! They provided the ceremony space, the officiant, reception space including tables and chairs at both the beach and reception. We thought it was reasonable compared to other accommodations in the area. The little wedding venue secret is this place! The wedding coordinator was very helpful in getting vendors like flowers , caterers etc even though we didn't use all of her suggestions. We totally appreciate the winter get away discount too.We had 60 people and they accomdated almost all of them with wedding special priced rooms too. We had an awesome 4 day wedding!

When we had to find a new reception venue one month before the wedding, Tammy helped keep us calm and quickly found us a new place to have the reception. She was so helpful - from set up to clean up and everything in between. Everything about Villas by the Sea was wonderful!!

Weather does play a big role for this venue but I got lucky. Sunny April weekend with light breeze (which made my veil flow so beautifully). The ceremony was at 3pm but not many people were out on the beach so we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Their pavilion was a great location for dinner/reception.

I recently had my wedding here and words can not express the wonderful job everyone involved did. My wedding was anything but easy. More like Murphy's law you might say (anything that can happen, will happen.) Tammy Young, my wedding coordinator, was a life saver! She kept us calm and reassured us everything would be ok when sometimes it seemed impossible. She was so organized and helpful no matter what the problem was. Even if the problem was a hurricane. I can not imagine having to plan my wedding without her! \r\rThe wedding site at the pavillion was beautiful and the accommodations for guests are clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff on site is friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating when or if there's a problem. \r\rI had my reception at the conference center on site (Straton Hall) and again they were amazing! Margo French was my coordinator and she is fabulous! I had no idea what I wanted there (flowers, cake, decorations...etc) but I gave her my colors and budget and trusted her and Stacy to work their magic. They blew my mind! If I could've reached in my mind and vocalized what I wanted it would've been exactly what they did! It was amazing! And they were very conscious and courteous to my budget. \r\rI honestly cannot imagine having planned my wedding elsewhere and there isn't a thing I would have changed about my wedding at villas. Not one thing. If you choose to have your wedding here I guarantee you won't regret it! \r\r

A great venue for a small wedding with Lots of charm. The staff at the villas will work with you and help make your day wonderful. It's not just this venue, the whole island offers your wedding guests a nice weekend with the villas as their home base. You can't beat their Pavillion for view and intimacy.

She did wonderfully in keeping everything in order and making sure we had everything we needed. \rEach of the villas is set up like a townhouse so we were able to prepare foods for the rehearsal and days preceding the wedding as well as having gatherings in each of the rooms since they had a living room area.\rWe used their \"Pavilion Package\" which was very moderately priced and allowed us to have our wedding on Driftwood beach like we had planned with no extra cost. It also let us use the covered pavilion (although rain was not a factor for us, thank goodness) for our reception. The pavilion was spacious enough for our all guests and when the tide came in was right on top of the water, but still had a dry beach area where our guests sat around a small fire pit and talked after the caterer had left.\rAll-in-all we had the most wonderful time and would highly recommend the Villas by the Sea to anyone planning a small beach wedding.

These villas were beautiful! Like little homes. They look old on the outside but each one has been remodeled on the inside and they are each decorated differently. One of our weddingn party members had a leak in her room and they immediately moved her to a new room with no problems, even helped her carry her items. We didn't want to leave.
