Vista Lago Ballroom is a beautiful stand alone building that includes 24 foot high ceilings, 5 exquisite crystal chandeliers, wood floors, natural lighting, an illuminated 20 foot lake fountain and a spectacular view of Hidden Lake. We offer fully catered custom packages for all occasions and all budgets. Weddings are our specialty!!

This venue was overall everything I wanted! We wanted to have a little bit of the beach, feel without having to be outside for hours, and the inside is beautiful with the high ceilings. We booked this venue in February 2022 and the staff was very flexible with the number of guests and payments that had to be made leading up to November 11, 2023. as we got closer to the date, Shantal was very helpful in helping me finalize the final details and helping me book any other vendors that I needed. The last week before the wedding day my coordinator was in constant communication with the venue to ensure everything would be perfect and Racquel was amazing the day of. Racquel ensured that me and my now husband got hors dâoeuvres from happy hour as well as drinks, and she even went out of her way to take pictures of us on her phone, while the photographer was taking a few. I think thatâs a nice detail to mention, because at the end of the night I wanted to make sure I had some thing to see! Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about this venue, and I really recommend for anyone to book them and to have Shantal as your point person.

Vista Lago was one of the places I saw on the internet while looking for a venue for my wedding, and when I saw it I fell in love with it. My partner and I decided to go, it was the first venue we visited and when we went we fell in love with the place much more. The attention was special from the first moment. The owners of the place were very kind as well as all the team members. They were always ready to help, to answer our questions and give us solutions. They took care of every detail of the wedding. and they met our expectations. The wedding planner was on top of everything and was very helpful. All we can say is Thank you Vista Lago and everyone on the team for making our day special.

Vista Lago was one of the places I saw on the internet while looking for a venue for my wedding, and when I saw it I fell in love with it. My partner and I decided to go, it was the first venue we visited and when we went we fell in love with the place much more. The attention was special from the first moment. The owners of the place were very kind as well as all the team members. They were always ready to help, to answer our questions and give us solutions. They took care of every detail of the wedding. and they met our expectations. The wedding planner was on top of everything and was very helpful. Vista Lago was AMAZING!! We got married here about 10 months ago and we STILL get nostalgic about our wedding there. Here are some highlights:1. When the groom dropped off our wedding decorations (ie signs, garlands, framed pictures, etc) he didnât even need to give them instructions on where to put them, they took care of arranging everything and it looked perfect. Thereâs nothing I would change.2. Their wedding package was practically all-inclusive. We had the venue, caterer, bartenders, and DJ all taken care of; we also went with their cake baker and florist recommendations. All we had to find were the photographers and officiant. Seeing other couples stressing out about finding and coordinating with all those vendors made us that much more grateful for Vista Lago. We didnât hire a wedding planner and never felt that we needed to.3. Multiple guests commented on how much they loved the food and how great the service was, from the servers who were attentive to those with dietary restrictions to the bartenders who remembered peopleâs drinks orders when they returned to the bar. 4. I canât say enough great things about the day-of coordinator. The pace of our wedding flowed so nicely because of her. There were no lulls and nothing felt rushed. They have so many weddings here that they have the whole process DOWN and everything ran like clockwork.5. The PRICE!! At the end of the day, the bill went well above the base price but that was because of all of our add-ons toward the end, which we would not have chosen had we surpassed our budget. Weâve been to weddings with much bigger budgets where the experience wasnât nearly as enjoyable as our wedding was at Vista Lago.A few areas of improvement, because nobodyâs perfect:1. Communication with Raquel and Jose was a challenge sometimes. I know theyâre incredibly busy, but we were sometimes confused about the best contact method (text? email? another email?). Weâre from out-of-town and had no one local to help with anything so that was stressful sometimes.2. It would be really helpful to have instructions with a timeline of what should be arranged with them at certain times, like food tastings, linen choices, etc and the final deadline to request any add-ons.3. Although I was thrilled with my choice of add-ons, nobody ever told me about them. I just happened to see Vista Lagoâs Instagram pictures of another wedding that had some of those details, like different charger plates. It wouldâve been great if they had all of their options outlined somewhere in the documentation (along with the prices) so you can check the boxes of what you want and email it to them by a certain date to avoid miscommunications. I felt like our choices were made last-minute and haphazardly.All in all, we would 100% recommend Vista Lago as a wedding venue!! Raquel, Jose, the day-of coordinator (so sorry I donât remember her name!) and the rest of their team created our perfect dream wedding.

Vista Lago is amazing. I got married this weekend on May 13, 2022, and immediately had to write a review. The entire staff and crew were the best. We started planning our wedding last year with Vista Lago and everything came out perfectly!!! Jose and Raquel are the sweetest. RJ was incredibly fast and responsive. Veronica was so good at maintaining the entire wedding on schedule and such a sweetheart. I also have to give an big shout-out to Rob the DJ. Every guest kept saying how much fun they had because he definitely brought that MIAMI HEAT! Request him if you can. The cook also killed it by serving up such delicious food. The waiters and bartenders were so attentive and nice. I have nothing but love for this venue and if you can I definitely recommend it! Have your wedding here and you will NOT be disappointed. Thanks, Vista Lago for everything. You made the wedding of our dreams come true.

Good location, but great pricing. Everything was included. The DJ is the bomb!! My friends still speak about him 3 months later. The food was delicious (the steak is medium), but everything was great. The cake and flowers which are included were also very good, although different affiliated vendors. And the drinks and bartender were good as well. The staff is amazing! The event coordinator and the day of person were super helpful. We live in VA, and the coordinator had zoom meetings with us and allowed my parents to do the tasting. The day of coordinator kept our drinks filled and ensured the party ran smoothly. The couple who run the place can be annoying and hard to work with at times. They sometimes go back on their word, so make sure you get everything in writing. They did let us postpone twice though, thanks Covid. Overall everything worked out and we and our guests had an amazing time. I would definitely do a party there again.

Brides! You will thank me if you decide to go with the venue. They kept my husband and I organized and up to date with our payments and decor. This venue not only brought our dream wedding to life but they genuinely cared about us as people which is hard to find nowadays. The ballroom is beautiful inside and the view of the lake for the ceremony is gorgeous, especially at sunset. Brides! You will thank me if you decide to go with the venue. They kept my husband and I organized and up to date with our payments and decor. Getting married during a pandemic is not easy. Having a wedding a couple of weeks after the holiday peak was even harder. The stress of having a wedding plus the stress of all the unknown was difficult. However, Jose, Raquel, and the rest of the staff made it is as easy as possible. Jose answered all of my questions and answered all of my calls. He never added any stress or worries. He made me comfortable every step of the way. The wedding itself was beautiful. The venue is simple and gorgeous. You could dress it up or leave it as is, like we did. The food was delicious. Guests are still talking about it two months later. The DJ also took the time to look at our music preference and made it happen. 100% recommend!

If you are thinking about booking an event with Vista Lago Ballroom⊠DO IT! Raquel, Jose and the entire staff were absolutely amazing!!!! My husband and I just got married here on September 3, 2021. We traveled from Indiana to Miami to get married! We have nothing but amazing things to say. If we could get remarried over and over again here, we absolutely would. They were so efficient and made sure everything went smooth for our big day. It was literally a dream come true. Amazing venue. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Amazing drinks! Everything! I just had the wedding of my dreams!!! And Loved every minute of it! But let me start from the beginning... About 4 years ago I went to a graduation for my son held at Vista Lago. From that moment, I realized what a dynamic product and service they have. So I began to hire them for the company I worked for's annual holiday party. When it came time for My Wedding, it was seriously a no brainer. After a quick consult with Jose & Raquel, we were booked and ready to move on planning yet another event. Except this time is was actually for my husband and me. I knew automatically not only was I going to have a beautiful dreamy wedding, I knew the staff at Vista Lago knew how to get it done right! Their experience is phenomenal, and their passion to making every Bride and Groom happy is beyond words Outstanding! Having previously been guests there at one of our best friendâs wedding, we knew the quality was top notch. That helped us make the decision to book with them for our big day. Honestly, itâs the best all-inclusive event location in Miami. What you get for what you pay is beyond what you would expect. In the 6 months between our booking and the wedding day, Raquel was available to answer every single question I had (which, when planning a wedding mid-pandemic ends up being many more questions than normal). She was patient and helpful every step of the way, always cheerful and friendly. On the day, they took care of EVERYTHING. Every single piece of decor, every detail, was arranged exactly how we had asked for it to be. As soon as our ceremony ended, we were asked what we wanted to drink, they made sure to have a plate with the food our guests were enjoying during the cocktail hour to make sure we didnât miss out, they bustled my dress, went over our music selections to make sure when we entered the reception the rest of the night would be just as perfect. The food is delicious! Several guests commented afterwards how much they loved it. The music was awesome...they listened to what we asked for and delivered 100% of it. We were so happy on our wedding day and love that we get to reminisce on how wonderful it was thanks to everyone at Vista Lago! Canât recommend it enough!

From the moment we visited Vista Lago Ballroom as a potential venue for our wedding, Raquel greeted us with kindness, she was very attentive, and she made it easy to make our decision. Raquel and her team are well organized, and I never felt uncomfortable reaching out, as they were more than happy to respond to me each time. If all wedding coordinators modeled their style, all brides and grooms would have a much seamlessly time planning their weddings. Our wedding was 01/01/2021 and everything was stunning and perfect. Everything looked more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Our vision came to life and it was a dream come true. We are in love with all our wedding details and wish to do it all over again. We truly want to thank Raquel, Samantha, Roly, and the entire Vista Lago Ballroom team for making our wedding planning experience stress free. Samantha was helpful and kind, she was always making sure my husband and I had everything we needed and she was with us every step of the way. They coordinated absolutely everything flawlessly and it was spectacular. The food and service was amazing. They are beyond incredible. They went above and beyond at every opportunity. Raquel and her team are well organized, and I never felt uncomfortable reaching out, as they were more than happy to respond to me each time. A venue that has it all !!! When my husband and I started looking at venues we created a checklist of must haves which Iâm sure most couples do. We went to location after location and each one we went to always had something missing. Whether it was the view, the ballroom and lacked elegance, no transition, exc. we couldnât find a place that checked all our boxes until VISTA LAGO BALLROOM!! When we drove up the the classic look of the building was already a check off the list. The magic doesnât really start until you walk inside, itâs like stepping through a portal that takes you to into your own fairytale. The high ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers take your breath away. Looking to the back through the big bigLooking to the back through the large royal windows is the most beautiful picturesque view of the lake. It honestly took my breath away. We knew instantly they we had struck gold. The coordinators are so through and really help you through the process. I had a vision of the wedding in my head and was afraid that like the rest of the locations we saw ,that VLB would have a million restrictions. To my surprise apart from normal regulations and safety hazards they are extremely flexible. They really help you out together your vision of the best day ever. I e met with the owners who have many years of express wedding planners and coordinators! We explained our vision and concerns and they made us feel so comfortable and heard. They as well as there staff are so loving and kind and really hands on. After going through everything my husband and I knew right ways this was our wedding venue no question ! Raquel, Jose, Leydis, Cecilia, and Roly are the most amazing team out there. They are like working with family. They treated us with so much love and support and made us feel at home. All through the process they were there helping and guiding us. Any question I had they would be so quick to respond and give us guidance. We put our faith in theirs hands and they did not disappoint. Their food is amazing no matter what you chose you will love it. The DJ kept us dancing all night long ! Our guests are still talking about how great the Food and party was. I apologize that this review is long but there are so many amazing things to say about the VLB FAMILY! For all your celebrations needs, we highly recommend Vista Lago Ballroom. The fact that its all inclusive truly helps individuals who are always on the go. This team ensures you're vision comes to life. Jose, Raquel, Ceci and Leidys were always available each step of the way ensuring any questions were answered no matter how many times we asked. This team exudes such professionalism at all times. We appreciate all the hard work as the staff at Vista Lago Ballroom made everything seem effortless. From the beginning we wanted our ceremony to take place outside. Mother Nature had other plans and it rained non-stop. Raquel and Ceci reached out asking where to place the arch and I went with my gut and recommended it be placed outside. I was clear if it rained, the ceremony would be moved inside. Upon arrival Ceci and Raquel told me the weather cooperated and we were ready to move the wedding outside in the cemented area since the grass area was damp. I had no problem with that compromise and the ceremony took place which is what we had envisioned. We want to take a moment to thank Ceci for taking care of business. She ensured everything flowed without a hitch. We thank her for making sure our small wedding court knew where the needed to go, that James and I ate after the ceremony, she helped me with my wedding bustle within 5 seconds. Just exceptional! Ceci always had a smile on her face and was an absolute delight. All the positive things that can be said of her, it all applies. Ceci you made this date the absolute best. We loved the layout of the gift table, the welcome poster, everything. Our guests cannot stop raving about the food/ceremony bites, bar area, location, ease of parking, ceremony/reception layout. Everything was top notch. DJ Roly was on it with the music and accommodated all of our needs! Our guests danced the night away. DJ Roly is a true master in his craft. We also recommend using Florida booth for your photo booth needs. Because it was Christmas time we had Xmas and wedding props. Our guests loved the Grinch and reindeer masks and that they could keep prints. We can't wait to see the cloud version. In conclusion, Vista Lago went above and beyond for our wedding. The patio area where the ceremony is held is beautiful with a Lakeview. The reception area is very spacious and was decorated exactly how we pictured it. I had Ceci & Leydis only a text or call away with any questions or concerns from the moment I booked. Ceci & Raquel actually worked the night of my actual wedding and they made sure everything went exactly as planned so that lifted a weight off my shoulders. I am forever grateful to Raquel and Jose for everything they did for my wedding, from Jose putting together a package that fit our needs to Raquel helping keep my veil in place, LOL, it was a windy day in September! When it comes to hospitality, the staff at this venue really go all out for their clients and that is something I will never forget. The food was amazing, the DJ was great, the bartender worked her butt off, I honestly cannot find a single bad thing to say. I had an amazing experience and I will definitely recommend to my friends!

Just had our wedding here. It was more than we could ever imagine for our wedding. Vista Lago went above and beyond expectation. The venue is beautiful. An unbeatable view of the lake with a fountain. Plus all of the palm trees make it a perfect place for photo ops. The inside was gorgeous. We held our daughter Chelseaâs wedding and reception at Vista Lago Ballroom on April 19. I can only compliment the management and staff of the Ballroom for the wonderful, professionally and smoothly run affair they created for Chelsea and our family. Everything ran right on schedule, but the staff have a way of making everyone feel comfortable, relaxed and at home without any of the rush and hassle weâve experienced at other facilities. You can attribute that to their level of preparedness. They arranged everything - the food, music and party games, and happily accommodated a few surprises we arranged for the bride, groom and guests. We didnât really have to lift a finger or put out any fires. The food was very, very good and I think itâs more than fair to say our guests had a great time. I should also add the pricing here was excellent, easily to the low side of the quotes we received. This proved especially impressive in lieu of the quality of the reception they provided for us. Weâre completely out of daughters but if we had any more of them to marry off, weâd gladly recommend they check this wonderful place out first.

We received plenty of compliments on all the decorations and the way the hall looked that day. Leydis was very sweet and made me feel ensured that everything would go smoothly the day of the wedding, as well as provided great suggestions. The day of the wedding Cecilia took care of everything in a phenomenal way and made sure I didn't have to raise a finger for anything (Thank you so much Cecilia!!). The reason that I am giving them four stars instead of five is because the day of the wedding I had multiple guests tell me the serving staff was rude to them and one of them even dropped a cup of the soda on the table and just left it there, did not clean it up right away. Obviously the day of the wedding that was very awkward and embarrassing to hear such complaints. I let Cecilia know and like a true professional she addressed it immediately. Also the whole time leading up to the wedding I was dealing with and communicating with Leydis, which made me feel at ease because I had met with her personally several times and she knew exactly every little detail for the day of the wedding. On the actual day I was kind of blindsided to see Cecilia there, whom I had not built rapport with at all and had not discussed everything with in detail. I feel that being informed prior that Cecilia was going to be my coordinator the day of the wedding and having a chance to build rapport with her would have been better and made me feel better. The reason this was an issue for me was because the day of the wedding although the centerpieces were beautiful they were not the way I have discussed and chosen with Leydis the day of my tasting so I was a little bummed about that. Overall my experience was great and I would recommend them to my friends, there are just little things that should be addressed. Thank you to everyone at Vista Lago for an amazing wedding!!

Not only is the ballroom breathtakingly gorgeous, and the people so willing to make your day perfect, but they have the best prices in all of Miami. When I say best prices I donât mean cheap prices for a cheap wedding, I mean reasonable pricing for an amazing wedding! With the help of Leydis, Cecilia and Raquel, my day couldnât have been more perfect. I will forever be thankful to them for making the most important day of my life as smooth and worry less as possible. Cecilia was tiying my shoes throughout the whole night, while Leydis was making sure my husband and I were eating and anything we needed we just looked up and they were there. And letâs not forget DJ roly that played the exact music I wanted to hear on my wedding and kept the party going for the whole night! Thank you guys so much for everything! My husband and I got Married here at Vista Lago 11.4.18. We booked this place way in advance and since day one the Vista Lago Team was amazing. Vista Lago was our first stop and like any couple we didnât want to commit to the first place even though we both new in our hearts and instincts this was the place. We did one stop after and returned right away. The package is great. Great value for what you get to make this any bride and grooms special day. Days before the big day Leydis was hands on to ensure we had everything perfect. Allan and I are music snobs so we had high demand of music and between Raquel, Leydis and ROLY they brought our vision to life. They donât offer a rehearsal unless you pay and at first it had me worried but being we got married on a Sunday and friends coming from out of town it was hard for us anyways. They reassured me it will be ok and they didnât disappoint. Their structure is so organized you would think you rehearsed 100 times. I didnât get to eat much but the few bites I took of the steak was delicious, our guests raves about the food. Theyâre so maticlous with every detail. The day was perfect thanks to them. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone planning a special event. Note to brides it goes by so fast so book the extra hour itâs worth it. Thank you Vista Lago.

I would never recommend any other venue. The staff at Vista Lago will make sure your event is the most amazing event of your life. I am beyond grateful to all the staff. Specially, Raquel, Ceci, Roly, and Jose. My weeding on 9/1/18 was the best day of our lives. The food, the music, the decorations, the attention to detail was more than I could have asked for. From the moment I got to the venue, Raquel and Ceci made sure my guest and I had everything we needed. They made sure the groom and I ate, kept us hydrated, held my veil for the pictures, fixed my dress when needed, applied lipstick on me several times, and even went to the bathroom with me a few times. I am so thankful for their generosity. After the wedding my guest told us how great the staff was and what a phenomenal time they had. He played every single song on our list and he had our guests dancing all night long! The bartenders were fantastic...when my husband would come to the bar, they knew exactly what he wanted and had his drink ready for him. All my guests raved about the food, the customer service, how beautiful the venue is, the music...I can keep going on and on but you will have to experience this for yourself. My husband and I were married on Sunday, February 25th at Vista Lago Ballroom and I cannot express in words what an amazing experience we both had! The ballroom is elegant, spacious, clean, plenty of parking for your guests and conveniently located. Everything was taken care of for us like a well oiled machine. This venue is a one-stop-shop and if you are thinking of where to have your wedding, look no further. The whole staff at Vista Lago ballroom were exceptional and we were treated like family. Jose, Raquel, Cecilia, Leydis and Roly...thank you from the bottom of my hearts for making our wedding dreams come true. When I arrived at the venue and Leydis walked my son and I into the ballroom for the first time, I was blown away! It was gorgeous and my vision was brought to life! Leydis, thank you for your patience, professionalism, caring words, and for making me feel at ease and stress free. You were my angel that day. You kept us on schedule and we were able to enjoy our wedding day. The food was delicious and all of my guests raved about one of my favorite sides...the creamy garlic mashed potatoes! Hmmmmm! Let me begin by saying that I RARELY write reviews but I was so impressed with Vista Lago Ballroom and how they went above and beyond my expectations for my wedding on 12/08/17. I was an OCD bride and an avid Pinterest addict! Not only did Leydis and Cecilia exert the utmost patience, professionalism and understanding of how important my vision was but on the day of I was on cloud 9 with how everything was just perfect! I was late and rushing and was overall, a ball of nerves but Leydis greeting me at the car and she calmed me down which was totally unexpected and such a relief! She then took her time to escort me (with eyes closed) into the empty ballroom and made sure I was pleased with every single detail! Vista Lago are true professionals and they really enjoy what they do and it shines through on your special day as they surpass your every expectation! Roly (the DJ) was so attentive and kept the guests entertained and wanted to make sure he got everything we wanted to hear exactly as we wrote and searched endlessly for anything that wasnât so popular! The owner, Jose and his wife, Raquel are very involved in the process and were such a pleasure to deal with and were very attentive to whatever we asked of them (they are great people overall and made us feel so comfortable during the process and even the day of while we were wisked away into a room while guests were taken into the ballroom). The schedule was on point and everyone was on the same page and new exactly what they were supposed to be doing like a well oiled machine! Oh and the food!!! I still have guests raving about it! So many people said how usually âcateringâ is not expected to be great at weddings/special events but everything on their plates were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! (I had chicken Marsala and churrasco with garlic mashed potatoes and plantains). I canât say enough about the entire team and the actual location being utterly breathtaking... especially at sunset over the lake. Check them out.. they will not disappoint!

We received great feedback from our guests as well -- it was truly a party! Just like we wanted it to be.I did wish their staff was more response to my email correspondence leading up to the big day, but I understand they are running a large operation with only a few people. I learned phone was the best way to reach them if you had any questions. The parking lot isn't the largest, so we had guests that had to park out on the street. And we also heard that the food took a little long to come out. But those minor issues aside, we would definitely recommend Vista Lago Ballroom to any couple looking for an affordable, yet beautiful place to celebrate your wedding day!

Cecilia was our best friend in the wedding day, she took care of us very well. Also, food was wonderful! Our only bad experience was with the power. We did not have power at the beginning of the ceremony due to a power outage for about 1 hour. We had to improvise. Everything ended up working out though. We spoke our vows with no microphones and the power came back in time for the reception. We were lucky. We would just suggest them to have their own generator for future events.

They are very detailed and very organized so you know exactly how your day is going to run. This not only made the day go smoother but gave the bride peace of mind. Thier decoration skills made our jaw drop. We couldn't believe how beautiful it looked. It helped that they work only with top notch vendors. The food was prepared and made with so much love. It was really delicious and did not come close to the cliche banquet hall food. Roly the DJ was excellent and he made sure that our ballroom was never empty and that he fulfilled our never ending requests. What I loved most was how Raquel and Cecilia were so attentive to the needs of the bride and the groom- whether it was bringing us food, keeping us hydrated, and helping change the bride shoes. Vista Lago Ballroom was absolutely the best choice I made when planning my wedding. After weeks and weeks of searching for venues, we fell in love with the venue the first time we saw it. It was absolutely perfect for our vision and was in our price range. What really set the venue apart from every other was definitely their customer service. Raquel, Jose, Cecilia, and Leydis are amazing and I am so grateful to have worked with all of them. Living out of town, I thought that coordinating everything with the venue was going to be difficult but they made it a breeze and I had no stress the day of. Raquel went above and beyond making sure that everything I wanted was exactly as I planned it for months. Cecelia and Roly made sure that the entire night went of perfectly and effortlessly. Raquel, Jose, Cecilia, and Leydis are amazing and I am so grateful to have worked with all of them. Living out of town, I thought that coordinating everything with the venue was going to be difficult but they made it a breeze and I had no stress the day of. Raquel went above and beyond making sure that everything I wanted was exactly as I planned it for months. Cecelia and Roly made sure that the entire night went of perfectly and effortlessly. Countless phone calls, emails, visits, and hours planning was oh so worth it. I will recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for the best customer service in the Miami area.

I am so thankful to the Vista Lago staff for making my little girlâs wedding everything that she had dreamed of. Our guests noticed every detail. The food was amazing, the DJ; Roly and the music where spectacular. The bistro lights over the ceremony were magical. The Flowers from Gladys flowers where gorgeous (Beatriz made them exactly like we wanted and more). I cannot thank them enough and I will forever remember this event as a huge success. Thankful for their patience with me. A special thank you to Leydis who was so caring and wonderful to us throughout the whole process. She made sure that my every instruction was followed when setting everything up and also that we were taken care of during the wedding and that everything was packaged and ready to go by the end of the night. We had a bumpy start but overall everything turned out to be a wonderful night. Leydis did a wonderful job in making sure that everything went as planned. Racquet and Jose did a great job ensuring that we were happy throughout the process. DJ Roly did a wonderful job on the day of and was playing the hits...our dance floor was litttt all night! I was first told of this venue through my now husband's co worker, who had a friend get married there. After touring many of the popular wedding venue sites in South Florida it was nice to see something a bit unknown by the masses and secluded from high traffic areas. I toured the campus and fell in love. To say that I was sold a dream is an understatement, and we decided to put a deposit down. Soon after the only contact I had with the wedding coordinators was to pay the installments on my remaining balance. Each time my husband and I would go to pay it felt like we were a bother to them because we always came in person. I suppose others paid through chasequick pay. With each visit I'd ask about ideas for decorations based on my fall theme, but I never got real help. Raquel emailed me a few pictures, but they didn't have much of a selection. Everything was up to me. Whenever I'd ask the assistants for information on décor there would be no follow up. This trend continued for a better part of the year. When it came to the tasting that was a disaster! My flower arrangements weren't what I had imagined, but thankfully the florist was PROFESSIONAL and ACCOMMODATING so we reached an agreement. I can not say that about Jose. I felt like we accomplished nothing, and it only increased my anxiety further. I reached out to Jose maybe 1-2 months later to reschedule another tasting. My husband had emailed his chef a jerk chicken recipe, and I had requested Raquel be there. He literally said \"You want Raquel there for you to taste a piece of chicken\". I had never felt so hurt and unvalued as a customer. My husband saw my face and spoke to Jose on the phone. Jose was insulting to him as well. My hopes for my dream wedding came crashing down, and I became depressed because there was nothing I could do. Two weeks before my wedding I contacted the team with details about the vendors. They didn't know who I was, they didn't know my wedding date, and were altogether clueless. This was unnerving so I just prayed for a miracle. One week before my wedding is when I finally heard from Raquel, and things changed for the better. She was attentive, PROFESSIONAL, and RESPECTFUL of my needs. My wedding day miraculously turned out well. The décor was how I envisioned it. The food was better. The assistants were helpful and kind. The music was pumping, and everyone danced. Never did I imagine that everything would turn out as magically as it did. Even Jose did 180 degree turn and wished us well. Our wedding was the best day of my life, but the road there was stressful and hard.This was my experience.

On April 16, 2016, David and I were provided with excellent service at Vista Lago Ballroom, and we are truly appreciative. We had been to and seen so many venues, both near and far. We were then highly recommended to Vista Lago Ballroom by a dear friend (Missy). So we met with Jose and Raquel Salcedo, a husband and wife team. We are so delighted we did, especially after seeing so many other options we have here in South Florida. We decided then to book at Vista Lago Ballroom, we made the right choice. They made it easy, with great packages and reasonable prices; however, upholding the highest levels of integrity. The outside of this stand-alone building is beautiful. Private parking and itâs all gated. The view of the lake and ceremony area is breath taking. The outdoor patio is large enough to accommodate your entire party. The bathrooms inside have granite counter tops and modern. The ceiling is high with beautiful chandeliers and wood floors. Very elegant. We had many comments from our guests, young and the not so young, on the quality of your service, food, and staff. The food, oh wow!!! We had a buffet style buffet with Churrasco with chimichurri sauce, (to die for) cook to perfection. There was also Pork (Lechon Asado) tender - YUMMMM, the sides were Congri and a mixed medley of vegetables. Please also take note that we also had a few guests that are Vegan and the Chef made sure they were also accommodated as well. THANK YOU Chef Miguel AngelTheir staff was very attentive and helpful. We interacted directly with on several occasions, especially with Raquel and Darlene, who were very knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in helping us finalize all the little details for our wedding, they gave great input and suggestion for items that met our needs rather than just being focused on making a quick sale.The DAY of your event, they assure you with nothing to worry about. They are at your side at every minute. You have no choice but to relax and enjoy the festivities. They are on top of EVERYTHING. Including at the end of your event, making sure you have all your belongings and packed very nicely any left-over food.We would also like to express our appreciation on the incredible job DJ Carlos Rodriguez did at our Wedding. The music was fantastic and he played all the songs we requested. We couldnât have asked for a more professional fun filled DJ. We thank you for keeping the crowd jumping. I think the music at a wedding reception itâs just as important as the venue and the food: we certainly hit a trifecta on the above. They are at your side at every minute. You have no choice but to relax and enjoy the festivities. They are on top of EVERYTHING. Including at the end of your event, making sure you have all your belongings and packed very nicely any left-over food.We would also like to express our appreciation on the incredible job DJ Carlos Rodriguez did at our Wedding. The music was fantastic and he played all the songs we requested. We couldnât have asked for a more professional fun filled DJ. We thank you for keeping the crowd jumping. I think the music at a wedding reception itâs just as important as the venue and the food: we certainly hit a trifecta on the above. Our guests had a wonderful time and we believe that was a part of and thanks to the DJâs selection of music, and the sensible volume at which it was played. My wedding is in February 2017 at Vista Lago Ballroom. We have are having both or ceremony and reception at this venue. I booked the venue back in November 2016. I visited a few places before this one and I can honesty say I got goosebumps when I enter the ballroom. It was EXACTLY what I wanted! Simple, Classic and Beautiful. It has clean lines, wood floors and beautiful chandeliers (with high high ceilings). Both Jose and Raquel have been magnificent. Raquel knew my vision from the minute I gave her an idea of what it was and she made me feel so comfortable. I trust her! Jose was so helpful with the food and open bar. They both made suggestions and never made us feel pressured. We have been making monthly payments to the Vista Lago that we could afford since we are expecting 140-175 guests and they have worked with you every step of the way. It so refreshing! I look forward to having my wedding at the privately hidden beautiful venue in Miami. I know my family flying NY and George and I Family in South Florida will love it!

I heard about this place through a friend who was getting married there. I had recently just gotten engaged so I went to see the venue (which is nothing out of the other world) without checking out any other place (which was my worst mistake) stupid of me I booked with them 3 years in advance. Soon after they tell my fiancé he is getting deployed . So I call Jose and explain my situation to him and he flats out tell me No returning my money. JOse's excuse was that he already paid for the venue. \"BS\" .. I asked him if could atleast get what I put down which were $600 and he still replied no. I specifically tell him NOT TO CANCEL MY WEDDING DATE. A few months later I go to my friends wedding . The food was horrible . Not only did it taste bad but it was cold ( even the bread). Unfortunately, it rained on my friend wedding so they had to have it inside. During the ceremony you hear all of the walkie-talkies going off, super unprofessional! Sad that all of that came out on the video ! I emailed Jose a few month later to ask when I could go and start picking out things for my wedding and he flat out tells me NO he had canceled my wedding and given my day to someone else. Jose is heartless and has no sympathy for anyone he makes his money and that's all he cares about!( Oh and everything is extra! Drapes, Furniture, extra hour etc.! Any single little thing is extra.) I would really understand him not giving me my money back if I was cancelling 1 year before the wedding but I was canceling 3 years in advance, I lost $1,500. Its sad to say that my fiancé got deployed and I had to cancel my wedding due to this inconvenience and this man didn't care.Please check out other venues before booking with these people and making the same mistake I did.Soon after I found and amazing venue that includes everything. My son's wedding was held here and all turned out just as planned. My son and his fiancé made all the arrangements and Jose and Raquel knew me from a couple of times I went there with them. The day of the wedding Raquel was on top of every detail and made it easy for the kids and myself and the bride's mom to enjoy the party knowing she was taking care of the details behind the scene. The place looked beautiful with all the details that were agreed to and their help in the pick up made it very easy for us. I also spoke to a coworker whose family member had their wedding there the week before and she had the same praises about their services. I was pleased to hear the consistency to the good service they provide. I highly recommend this venue if you want to enjoy the special day without having to worry about the details knowing they truly work hard to make the event special for you

As a South Floridian I always wanted an outdoor wedding and I didn't want my guest to have to drive from the ceremony to the reception. So needless to say Vista Lago met all my expectations. The lake view with a spectacular sunset made for incredible pictures! The reception space was a dream with high ceilings, hard wood floors and open space. Their in house catering offered a delicious meal to my guest and the professional staff made the day a delight! We had such a wonderful experience that one of my wedding guests will now be getting married there as well!

Words cannot even begin to express how pleased we are with Raquel, Jose, and the entire Exquisite Productions staff, they have left us speechless! Letâs just say they exceeded our expectations by a thousand. We had both our ceremony and reception at the beautiful Vista Lago Ballroom, and Exquisite Productions took care of every last detail. Our wedding day was the most amazing and magical day and none of it would have been possible without the hard work and professionalism provided by Exquisite Productions. I am a firm believer that nothing is perfect because life isnât always perfect, right? Well our wedding was PERFECT! The food, the dĂ©cor, the bar, the service, the music, the ceremony, and Iâm sure Iâve left something out, but in conclusionâŠEVERYTHING was perfect. We were so surprised that at the end of the reception they had even packed everything for us, the decorations, the left-over food, the cake, the gifts, nothing was left behind, and my parents didnât have to stay to pick up like they had originally planned. I think my biggest concern when thinking about my big day was coordination, I was afraid something would not happen as planned or would get left behind in all the commotion, however everything ran so smoothly from beginning to end that it was unreal, so just relax and let the professionals take care of everything. I can honestly say I fully enjoyed my day, I was a bit worried/anxious on my way to the reception just because I am a control freak and I was not able to see the dĂ©cor until 10 minutes before my ceremony started, however all my worries melted away as soon as I stepped in to the beautifully and tastefully decorated ballroom. I was able to enjoy my wedding to the fullest, so again we want to express our most profound gratitude to Raquel, Jose, and the entire Vista Lago/Exquisite Productions staff.

I wish I could give zero stars for this venue since I had the most awful experience there! The manager was completely rude and non-accommodating for me, a guest at my brothers wedding. I had asked the manager if I could nurse my daughter in a private space during the reception in a room where the bride and bridesmaids had gotten ready, and he told me to go take my daughter to the bathroom. I said no because the bathrooms are gross and I would not feed my daughter there. His exact response to us was \"this is my business and house, and I make the rules\" which I felt was the rudest response I could ever imagine! Additionally, the restroom doesn't even have a changing table for guest with small children. Needless to say, this place is not family friendly and the staff is not flexible. I would not recommend it....\r\rPS- the \"lake\" behind the building is more like a water reservoir and had TONS of flies and bugs. Many of our pictures had nats and flies on our guest- it was gross!

Raquel and Jose were very nice. However, the day of the wedding I asked for there not be too much announcing of things because it could take away from the elegance of the wedding. They run an honest, professional catering business with no hidden \"surprises\" and very reasonable when it comes to prices. Throughout the planning process they answered all my questions right away which makes a bride feel at ease. The day of the wedding, Raquel went above and beyond to make sure the wedding ran smoothly and made sure my hubby and I were happy with everything. The food was delicious and warm (big plus). I owe my flawless wedding to the Exquisite Production team: from the kitchen to the bar to the servers, the DJ...everyone. All great people who truly exceeded my expectations. I encourage you to give them a shot. You won't regret it!

Our wedding was a dream come true! I had so many questions beforehand because of so many horror stories Ive read about venues and surprise costs. My husband and I were on a tight budget so I needed to be crystal clear of everything. \r\rRaquel and Jose were both amazing to work with! They were so patient with me and addressed all of my concerns and there were no hidden surprises. We had our ceremony and reception both at their home, which is a beautiful and yet quaint and very personal style venue. We didnt want a traditional ballroom type setting since we are both family people. It was so warm and inviting and really gave us and our guests that it was the \"Grand Treatment\"! \r\rWe had rain plans and were completely and fully covered. My husband's father went into hopsital on emergency and so his parents couldnt make it, so we were going through alot of emotional swings and they knew how to handle it all, seamlessly! They do this so often and have it down to a science. The dances, the everything! \r\rRaquel made it very simple to plan and allowed us to have the fun we hoped to have. She gave us tips and fed us horduerves during our photo shoots to ensure we had what we needed. \r\rThe food was delicious! The photos came out beautiful! The place was gorgeous. The music was awesome and we danced ALL NIGHT LONG! It was the most magical night of both of our lives. \r\rTrust Raquel and Jose.
