Operating out of Austin, TX, Vuka is a range of delightful venues that can host weddings that live long in the memory. With great access to downtown, these properties boast both ample space and easy transport routes for guests to explore the city. Whether you're looking for a romantic backyard affair or something more glamorous inside, Vaku has plenty of event spaces for couples to choose from.
Vuka has two separate locations for you to choose from. Bouldin Creek offers south Austin bohemian vibes and is inspired by nature. On-site, you will discover a quaint loft space, a restored warehouse, and an intimate backyard setting ideal for ceremonies as well as evening receptions under fairy lights. A maximum of 200 guests can rejoice at the Bouldin Creek site with 150 seated if required. In total, the outside space is a quarter of an acre in size and features a charming age-old oak tree that can host romantic ceremonies as you exchange vows in front of loved ones. The second venue is nestled in the Brentwood neighborhood. More modern in its appearance, this venue includes floor-to-ceiling windows, handmade mural installations, and a second-floor outside area ideal for any cocktail hour. Slightly larger in size, this property can host up to 350 people, 200 of which can be seated.
When it comes to planning your big day at either Vaku location, their dedicated events staff will be on-hand to ensure that everything is covered. They can take a leading role in the complete setup and as well as cleanup, leaving you to focus on what really matters. What's more, an on-site wedding coordinator can make sure that everything is running on time and smoothly during the big day. You can also avail yourself of bar, catering, live entertainment, and transport services.

Lindsay Edgar(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-11-2022 My now husband and I were looking for a venue with an industrial feel for our wedding, but something that had a warm vibe to it as well. Vuka Bouldin Creek was PERFECT - both the inside and outside are magical for a wedding. So many guests commented on the unique touches of the venue and how much they loved it. The feel of the space itself is only outdone by the amazing staff - Ashley Innes is responsive, caring and super helpful (so much so that we hired her to be our coordinator for the day too). I really can't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else and would highly recommend to any couple! Reviewed on 18-01-2023
Julie Zurbuchen(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-10-2021 Where do I begin? We walked in this venue (the Bouldin Creek location) and knew it was the perfect spot for us. It's located in such a fun spot in the city, and the backyard makes it feel like you could be out in the country. The space has so much character, we didn't really have to add much more in the way of decorations either. Due to covid, we had to reschedule and the venue let us move the date up to a year, which was incredible. In addition, we were able to bring our own alcohol and use their bartenders, who were fantastic. I also want to give Ashley Innes some high praise- as both the venue coordinator and our day of coordinator. She did a fantastic job noting all the small details that we may have forgotten, and kept everything running smoothy, setting up and helping tear down. She was great about answering all our questions beforehand as well through a couple phone calls. The only slightly negative thing about the venue is that there are only 2 toilets, so sometimes the line could back up a bit, but that wouldn't stop us from married here again in a heartbeat. Ellen Snow(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-02-2020 As soon as we saw the backyard, with the gorgeous tree and lanterns, we knew this was where we had to have our wedding. Our event was small, and we wanted a space that was intimate. It was also already decorated in a beautiful, simple way that fit with our aesthetic. Aside from a hiccup during the sales process, they were really easy to work with. I especially wanted to shout out Ashley -- I’d give her five stars alone. We hired her as our day-of wedding coordinator (she also helped with the rehearsal) and I couldn’t have been happier with how she (and her team!) handled everything. She was amazing! The only reason I took off a star was because of the parking. It’s wonderful that they have this extra lot on S 1st, but it needs some improvement (better lighting, cameras, etc.) to make it safer.Overall, though, this event space was wonderful. Blair Adams(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-02-2020 My partner and I got married at Vuka Collective/Impact Hub on North Lamar on February 15th, 2020 and it was the perfect venue for our party! We loved it's industrial feel, and that it had a variety of seating areas for folks to lounge around...all included in the package! We worked closely with Ashley to coordinate the space layout and Jasmine to oversee the drink menu/service staff. They were professional and helpful, and I would highly recommend this space for any party or reception. Reviewed on 20-04-2020
Shelby Foster(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2019 After looking for months none of the venues were really jumping out to us and then we got to Gather Monroe and instantly fell in love with the south Austin/eclectic vibe! Not only is it a unique space with a beautiful outdoor area for a ceremony the Gather Monroe team was such a dream to work with. I probably sent a million and one emails and they always were there to help with everything. Ash and Ryan are the best! We have already received so many texts about how much people loved our venue! Christine D(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-05-2019 We chose Gather (North Lamar) for our wedding reception because we loved the natural and organic feel of the space. It was decorated enough that we didn’t feel like we had to add much to make the space match our aesthetic. All the folks we worked with from Gather were professional, friendly, and easy to work with (shout out to Catherine, Ashley, and Ramona!) We loved how everything turned out and many of our wedding guests came up to us throughout the event telling us how beautiful everything looked. Reviewed on 11-06-2019
Megan Overbay(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-08-2016 My husband and I were married in Vegas but wanted to host an Austin reception to celebrate with our friends and family here. Our theme was a west Texas/Marfa/desert feel and the second we walked into Vuka, we knew we had the right place. Vuka provides tables, chairs, a shuttle service, and an unbeatable vibe. Our coordinator had some difficulty reaching Vuka staff to answer vendor questions, but other than that, Vuka was the perfect venue. Reviewed on 24-10-2016
Kelly Westmoreland(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2016 I want to start by saying we had a fabulous wedding at Vuka and the space was perfect for us! The venue was close to downtown and they provided shuttle service for our guests which was very helpful. It really helped our budget being able to bring in all of outside vendors and they do not have any restrictions. The week of the wedding they were very flexible and allowed us to setup everything the day before. We were also able to store stuff which made the day of so much easier. During the wedding all the staff seemed to communicate very well and we didn't run into any issues or at least nothing that was brought to my attention.Unfortunately the planning process leading up to our day was not as smooth. Trying to get responses from the venue coordinator was like pulling teeth. I had to send numerous emails and text them to finally get an answer. I honestly think the job is too much for one person to handle. They were also making a lot of changes to the building including moving the stairs, adding walls, adding new decor, etc. and we were not informed of these changes until going back to do another walk threw. I was planning from another city so it was a big shock when I walked in to see all the updates. I asked them to please keep me in the loop on any additional changes and to send over pictures once it was complete. They were apologetic but I never received additional updates. The venue says it can hold 200 people which I think is a stretch but you might be able to make that work for a dinner. If you are planning a wedding I would suggest around 100 people to ensure you have space for the DJ, dance floor, buffets, etc. Overall it was a great day for us but they have some service issues to improve on. I till recommend this venue for your wedding as it so unique and really has an Austin feel to it. If you want an out of the box option for your wedding Vuka is a perfect option.
