Located in Bloomfield Hills, MI, Wabeek Country Club is a charming country club wedding venue. With rolling hills aplenty, a stylish interior, and a multitude of wedding and event amenities, this is the perfect destination for your nuptials. This pristine golf course and country club will wow your guests from the moment they step foot on the property. The Wabeek Country Club can play host to all your celebratory events, including your engagement party, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception. Situated on more than 800 acres, there is a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for you to choose to utilize on your big day. You and your partner can begin the day in the well-equipped get-ready rooms, where you will have a chance to prep before the walk down the aisle. From there, you can host your outdoor ceremony with uninterrupted views of the scenery as your backdrop. The clubhouse can serve as your reception site. The full ballroom can accommodate up to 400 guests, the partial ballroom option is perfect for up to 200 people, and the dining room can seat 75 of your nearest and dearest. The Wabeek Country Club team will do their very best to ensure that your celebration goes off without a hitch. You can meet with their talented event coordinator to discuss your wants, needs, and expectations for the wedding. The onsite catering staff will be able to create a delicious meal, which will pair nicely with the drinks from the bar. To start, this venue is STUNNING and the food, bar and wait staff made my day absolutely amazing and I wouldn't change my wedding day for the world. However, I wish I could say that I recommended this venue to a bride and groom who is looking now. When I booked this as our venue in the Fall of 2017, I would have absolutely recommended it, the staff was AMAZING the second my fiancé and I walked in. The coordinator (Marty) was awesome, easy to communicate with and get in contact with, he was funny and was willing to do anything it took to make our day beyond perfect. However, about one month before our wedding day I was no longer receiving responses from Marty, which was unlike him because he would respond very promptly typically. So, I called the venue and found out that he had moved positions and there was a new coordinator..ONE MONTH before our wedding day and not a single person contacted me to tell me. I scheduled a meeting to meet and talk with her. I left my job early and drove an hour. Well, she had left early and decided not to call me to tell me. I was already quite frustrated but also I know things happen and I let it go. I finally met with her and she PROMISED me that all of the sudden changes the venue was making due to new ownership would be finished and perfect for my day (there was contraction EVERYWHERE and I had no idea that was happening). I double checked that the things Marty was promising me were still going to happen and she confirmed. Those things included, a second bar opening up on the other side, my cake being cut and individually served to guests and that the groom suite would be the way it was when we looked (they promised us they weren't doing construction down there). Well, there was no second bar, my cake was cut and set on a table for guests to get themselves and they were not told this AND, last but not least when my now husband walked into Wabeek with his groomsmen, the groom suite had been completely destroyed by construction. They had no where to get ready, Kim (new \"coordinator\") was not there at 11 am as our coordinator was supposed to be there by 9:00 as we were promised the day we booked. Nobody could find a place for him and his groomsmen to get ready in and luckily it was nice out they had to hangout on the patio all day and then get dressed in the golf locker room...Luckily I didn't know this unit the next day because it would have ruined my day. But, it has killed me for the last month knowing that his day was so chaotic and communication was TERRIBLE. I think the worst part is that I had since sent Kim an email to discuss all of these things and it has now been about 3 weeks and I have not received a response from her or the venue. ALSO, my husband was promised that him and 3 others could play a round a golf on a Monday after the wedding and we after now 4 phone calls and messages he has not received a phone call back to do this. I truly think that if ownership, management and staffing didn't change that none of these things would have happened and it absolutely kills me. The updates are stunning I will not lie, however on your wedding day you want and absolutely need good communication from your coordinator and venue and follow through, it is NOT okay. Also, I am sure with these updates there prices have gone up and they were expensive before updates. Please, find yourself another venue there are plenty more that you will get much more out of.

Overall, our wedding turned out beautiful and we were very happy. We had so many compliments regarding the venue and everyone was raving about the food! The renovations are amazing! We did, however have major communication issues leading up to the day. It was very difficult to get a response either by email or phone even a couple weeks away from the event. I was also told that a member of the staff was rude to one of my vendors which I did not appreciate. Many promises were made at both the initial meeting and the tasting that were not fulfilled. Like I said, I am glad we had this as our venue as it was beautiful and the staff made everything seem flawless, I just didn’t appreciate some of the extra stress that happened prior to the day.

Our wedding at Wabeek turned out beautifully! The venue itself is gorgeous and the food is great. I can't even begin to count the number of compliments we received on both. Mary is the catering manager and he was easy to work with and very helpful. Wabeek set up for our even and even tore down. Highly recommended!

Wabeek Country Club is a premier venue to host your wedding at. My husband and I had nothing but great experiences with this venue from start to finish. Management was always willing to do whatever it took to make sure that our special day was taken care of. There was literally nothing that they would not do to make sure execution and follow through of the event was perfect. Additionally, they were always quick to call us back and timely in everything that we ever needed from them. They truly made our wedding planning experience as easy as possible. Also, the staff at Wabeek is nothing short of the best. One of the biggest compliments my husband and I received after, and during our wedding, was how friendly the staff was at Wabeek Country Club. The staff members were always smiling, greeted everyone, and were so personable that you could see guests taking time to actually strike up a conversation. Also, their dedication to top-notch service is unparalleled. Hors d’oeuvres were consistently served throughout cocktail hour to keep guests happy and dinner was served with swiftness and precision. Additionally, during the reception if guests did not have a drink in their hand, or needed something, the staff would immediately make sure they were taken care of. The staff at Wabeek displayed the best customer service I have ever seen, or experienced, at a wedding in my life. Lastly, the food and beverage at Wabeek Country Club is AMAZING! There truly are not words to express how wonderful the food and drinks were at our wedding day. EVERYTHING was perfect: Dinner, Hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and dessert. The guests at our wedding RAVED about everything and my husband and I agree! They say that there are two things that people talk about once a wedding is over: Food & Alcohol. And I can promise anyone that decides to utilize Wabeek as their venue for their wedding that they will not be disappointed as their food & beverage is beyond measure when it comes to greatness!

We had our wedding at Wabeek Country Club in July and it was truly the best decision we made! It is a beautiful setting and the service we received was top notch. We received so many compliments from guests that our wedding was one of the best weddings they had ever attended. Not to mention the best wedding food they had ever had. Marty and Brian were so wonderful to work with from the initial consultation to the last minute details. They were very accommodating and willing to let us make the wedding our own with menu and drink changes. We also were fortunate to have a perfect Michigan summer day which was gorgeous for the outdoor cocktail hour. If we could do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing! Book Wabeek Country Club and you won't be disappointed on your big day!

Had our wedding here on 9/16/17 and over-exceeded our expectations. Marty was very organized, met with us 3 times prior to the wedding date including our taste testing. Every single thing about our reception went flawlessly, and our guests could tell the difference in the extra service provided. You don't realize how much of a difference those things make in the ambiance of your wedding until you experience it. Also, the food was sooo good (not that I had time to eat too much of it lol) and so many people told me how amazing their meal was, the best chicken they've ever had. I consider myself a very type A person, and I cannot think of one thing I would change about Wabeek. They really do go above and beyond to make sure your reception is exactly what you want, and they are a LOT more flexible than a lot of other venues we looked at. It was totally worth every single penny!! :)

I am still having my guests call me and say how amazing everything on their plate was. Bethany was our contact at the club she is a true professional and was such a joy to work with, made the planning process so easy and just a great person. She really took the time to get to know Jeff and I, and make our day so very special. I will be forever grateful to her for making our day so perfect in our eyes. Not only was Wabeek a perfect location for us, the price made it even more attractive. One of the best deals we had seen! I would recommend Wabeek as a great place to get married!

Wabeek was an absolutely incredible place to have our wedding this past weekend-it was honestly better than we could have imagined. The service this venue offers is off the charts from every single person we encountered. Bethany is the director of catering sales and was our contact person and she was wonderful. She has such a nice personality and was truly a pleasure to work with and she was always prompt with my countless questions and always was as accommodating as possible. The food is incredible, not only at the tasting for 5 people but at the wedding for 130 people. Our guests raved about the quality of food and the servers were quick to get food out-I didn't hear of anything less than delicious and hot. We took pictures after the ceremony outside and we had several servers that were waiting with our signature drinks and our appetizers and they continued to serve our group outside the entire time we were out there while the rest of the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour inside. There was one server who I had asked for a drink and she literally stood waiting with the single drink for me for at least 10 minutes while I was caught in pictures-it was mind blowing how good the service was. The staff boxed up all of my centerpieces and linens and such for the wedding and reception so when I went to pick it all up the next day, it was a breeze. My husband and I are so happy we chose Wabeek and would happily recommend this venue to anyone.

Wabeek's staff was always very friendly and willing to work with us to make our day very special. Friends told us that they had great food from previous experiences so we decided to book our reception there. Our friends were spot-on! Everything we ate was top notch and was served from a very courteous waitstaff. Brenda was able to accommodate our schedule, since we were an out-of-town couple, and she was more than happy to help us with the millions of questions we had.\rI wouldn't have wanted to have this experience anywhere else!

Everything we ate was top notch and was served from a very courteous waitstaff. Brenda was able to accommodate our schedule, since we were an out-of-town couple, and she was more than happy to help us with the millions of questions we had.\rI wouldn't have wanted to have this experience anywhere else!

Wabeek was an amazing place to have a wedding! Brenda and the Wabeek Staff were overly accommodating, the grounds were/are beautiful and the food was fantastic. I enjoyed working with everyone at Wabeek, they kept everything in order and under control, so that I could just enjoy the day. My husband and I got married on July 31, 2010 at Wabeek and from day one they were the most fabulous people to work with. My guests still are talking about how wonderful the food and service was! The staff was always very attentitive to my husband and I and to our guests. The night was perfect, we had the best wedding and I highly reccommend Wabeek as a venue for your special day.

Melissa, the coordinator at Wabeek, was excellent. The food was wonderful, the place was beautiful, and the guests couldn't say enough about the great service. It was perfect and couldn't have been better!!

Decor was neat and modern. Staff was very accomadating. Food was excellent. Site was nice-country club with many windows overlooking a beautiful golf course.

The staff was great in working out a customized menu (vegan) for us. The food was delicious and beautifully plated the reception venue is gorgeous and it was an overall pleasant experience. I'd highly recommend Wabeek.;It is certainly a pricey location. Keep in mind there is a minimum cost you must meet which only includes food and beverages but not tax and tip or any additions.
