Kim, MaKenna, and their team did everything to make our day perfect! They were very prompt with communication and helped us along every step of the way! The venue itself was perfect for my husband and I. We were looking for a venue that we could have both our ceremony and reception. It offered beautiful backdrops for all of our pictures. The school house (bridal suite) and the stables (grooms suite) were the cutest places to get ready in. There were so many unique things about this space (fire pit, swings, ability to bring horses on site and so much more), I couldnāt recommend them enough!

My husband and I got married at Waconda Woods last year. The venue is absolutely stunning. We loved the bridal and groom getting ready suites. We had a larger wedding party and there was plenty of room for all of them! The outdoor ceremony location was gorgeous. We LOVED having our dance party outside under the lights!! Kim and Makenna were amazing to work with and helped us throughout our planning process. Makenna was SO helpful the days leading up to the wedding and day of. She was willing to do whatever was needed. 10/10 would recommend!! Our wedding could not have been more perfect. :)

My husband and I got married at Waconda Woods last year. The venue is absolutely stunning. We loved the bridal and groom getting ready suites. Kim and Makenna were amazing to work with and helped us throughout our planning process. Makenna was SO helpful the days leading up to the wedding and day of. She was willing to do whatever was needed. 10/10 would recommend!! Our wedding could not have been more perfect. :)

The team at WaConDa Woods & Gardens made our wedding planning process a breeze and the day itself was completely stress-free on our end ā everything a bride could hope for! They gave us great vendor recommendations and were always super prompt to respond to any questions we had. Perhaps what sets WW&G apart most is they (currently) only take one wedding per weekend, which gave us so much flexibility to set up a day in advance and finish tearing down the next morning, unlike other venues with stricter time limits. Saying our vows under the trees surrounded by loved ones is a memory I'll never forget. WW&G will go the extra mile for you and I can't thank them enough for helping bring our wedding vision to life!

helped coordinate a large wedding at this beautiful venue. The staff went above and beyond! We arrived to the venue and the tables were set with ironed table cloths and chairs around each table. McKenna arrived early to open the facility and was faithful to work out all the details throughout set up and the day of the wedding. She was so precious!It was a beautiful out door wedding, with a fantastic reception in the building. The building ended up being larger than we even anticipated. We were able to fit more tables than we even had originally planned!It was an incredible experience!

I photographed a wedding at the WaConDa Woods & Gardens and I was blown away with every aspect of the venue and how the day unfolded! The getting ready suite had plenty of room for the girls to get ready, lots of natural light for photos, and even the personal touch of chalk art on the wall. As a photographer, I greatly appreciated the variety of options for photo backdrops around their grounds. The barn where the reception was held was elegant and simple- the perfect backdrop to be decorated to suit your wedding vision! The staff was friendly and helpful all through the day as well. Highly recommend, and I hope to shoot there again soon!

Like my review title says, this place was absolute perfection for what we were looking for! Outdoor ceremony, indoor reception area, rustic feel, getting ready areas on site, decor options if desired, tables and chairs provided, available for our fall wedding date (November 6), outside of Omaha, available to utilize for rehearsal dinner, allowed our dogs to join, and so much more! We were a bit nervous when we booked as they were still adding the bathrooms and had not had many weddings yet, but Iām so glad we took the leap! Kim and MaKenna were an absolute dream to work with. From day one they ensured that we felt confident in choosing them for our big day. There were a couple of things that were miscommunicated two months before the wedding, but Kim made it her mission to ensure that things were properly taken care of to avoid any further issues! I cannot put into words how highly I recommend this venue - and especially paying the extra money to have them as your day of coordinators. I hate asking for help but they helped us so much with prep, space layout, flow of the day, vendor communication, last minute changes, and being able to RELAX and enjoy our day! I could go on and on about this place. This isnāt a ābusinessā, itās definitely a family that values putting others first.

WaConDa Woods is a perfect venue for an outdoor wedding with the facilities to make the day comfortable. Kim was amazing to work with; she and her staff took care of countless details without being asked. We'd mention little things we wanted (like horses!) and she made it happen without any added stress on us. When the big day arrived, she struck the perfect balance of being present to assist without being overbearing. Everything from the setup to the clean up went smoothly, and we could not imagine a better venue experience!

There are endless beautiful locations at WaConDa Woods for your wedding day. Even though we experienced rain, we found the perfect spots with tree coverage to block the rain while we finished up pictures. This venue is definitely worth the drive!

I was recently in a wedding here and could not have had a better experience! Having been married fairly recently myself, I took note of so many special details and thoughtful touches by the owners. They were so flexible and fantastic to work with throughout the process, and there is a wealth of reception space to fit parties large or small. The absolute best part about the venue is just the charm in history that canāt be bought. The school house, the stables, the meticulously kept grounds, everything makes for a picture perfect wedding with plenty of places for photo opportunities, private first looks, and picturesque ceremony space.I would recommend this unique and beautiful venue to anyone!

I was recently in a wedding here and could not have had a better experience! Having been married fairly recently myself, I took note of so many special details and thoughtful touches by the owners. They were so flexible and fantastic to work with throughout the process, and there is a wealth of reception space to fit parties large or small. The absolute best part about the venue is just the charm in history that canāt be bought. I love the scenery of Waconda Woods. All of the trees plus the old schoolhouse make for the most unique pictures. It really is a great place to have any type of gathering!

I donāt even know where to begin. I am still gushing over our perfect day. A day that would not have been possible without Zach, Kim, and WaConDa Woods & Gardens team! When I started planning the wedding, the most important piece for me was the pictures and I wanted a place with a gorgeous background. The venue allowed for so many scenes! We took pictures outside where everything was so green and lush. The reception building offered an elegant feel. We also snuck into the stables for a few there and got some on the swing set (these turned out super cute)! Some of our best pictures were at the schoolhouse! This was my favorite part of the venue. We used this as a private prep area for the wedding party. It was nice to have a place to sit and relax before and after the ceremony. I donāt even know that I could accurately describe all the ways this venue went above and beyond for us. To give some additional background, I was a Corona bride. This put us in uncharted territory. However, the venue was quick to react to the circumstances. They built guards to put over the buffet and had servers available for the food. Plus, the reception building allowed for plenty of room for social distancing. It never would have crossed my mind, but they made so many accommodations to make our guests feel at ease with the ongoing COVID pandemic. We had to make quick decisions and were constantly changing up our plans; however, the venue was beyond flexible and continued to accommodate our changing circumstances. Our wedding also happened to be on a rainy day. In the morning, we had decided we would set up the ceremony outside, weather permitting, and if not - the venue helped us coordinate a plan to bring the wedding inside. We had already planned to hold the reception in the building, so it was decorated beautifully ā lights were hung from the high ceiling and the ambience was amazing. I didnāt have to worry at all. Until I arrived at the venue, I expected everything to be set up inside since it was raining even on our way to the venue. However, with a quick break in the rain, the venue was able to get everything set up in a short amount of time, so we were able to hold the ceremony outdoors. The turnaround time was amazing. Following the ceremony, the wedding party had escaped to the schoolhouse for some celebratory hugs and by the time we had exited, the chairs from the ceremony were already in place inside. It was such an elegant scene!I wish my words could express how magical this day was. I am so grateful for everything that WaConDa Woods & Gardens provided to make my dreams come true! Thank you to Zach, Kim, and the entire team at WaConDa Woods & Gardens!

We Could not have been happier with this place!! Words wonāt do this place justice but Iāll try... Waconda Woods is just so unique and beautiful you simply canāt duplicate a venue like this! Itās out in the country (still a short drive) and was so so peaceful it truly gave us our fairytale wedding. The pictures we have because of the antique feel out there are beyond perfect! Our wedding highlight video we have brings tears to my wife every time she watches it because of how perfect it was out here and it makes the video almost like a movie. Obviously planning a wedding especially in times like now are maybe more stressful than ever before because we are in uncharted territory as far as hurdles and problems we had to overcome but Zach and Kim made everything so easy and are so caring and professional that we couldnāt be more grateful for them and this beautiful place! God is good and we were so lucky and blessed to be able to have our wedding here... I believe a sleeping giant in the wedding venue world has been awoken!!! Thank you Zach and Kim along with your family and team for EVERYTHING you ALL did for us!!! ā¤ļø

Kim & Zach Sherwin (Owner) Born and raised in Nebraska, Kim & Zach are passionate about helping brides and grooms have the best day possible. As a young child, Zach attended school at the historic school house on the property back in the 80's and his Grandfather used to own the school house which he helped renovate growing up. Zach & Kim, along with their family, have poured a lot of time into making this historic 40 acres the best possible indoor/outdoor wedding venue someone could ask for. With four children and two dogs - there is never a dull moment at the Sherwin household!
