Walhill Farm is a beautiful wedding venue in Batesville, IN. Gorgeous forests, natural ponds, pastures, gardens, and flowers stretch across 250 stunning acres. You can make this pastoral property the setting for a truly remarkable country wedding. Walhill Farm is located between Indianapolis, IN, and Cincinnati, OH. This property was originally the rebuilt pony farm, accomplished in 1960 after a fire destroyed the previous farm. This reconstruction was accomplished with the vision of the owner and famed industrial engineer George Carl Hillenbrand. These days, the Farm has an award-winning restaurant, a sustainable working farm, a renowned event center, and a butcher shop. For events, there are three outdoor ceremony sites and one indoor site. The Barn, a 12,000 square-foot converted horse barn, is an expansive space and can comfortably host up to 500 people for your wedding reception dinner as well as corporate events, fundraisers, etc. It can host quite a few more if there is no need for a dance floor. The Barn is a climate-controlled facility and an inspiring atmosphere that exudes the country clean feel, which so many event planners and brides desire today. Included with the ceremony site rental is a bridal suite and a groom's room for nearlyweds to get ready in. Additionally, the Lodge can host up to 100 guests. This venue's staff is ready to assist you in preparing large and opulent events as well as more intimate occasions. They also offer on-site services. Walhill Farm Catering will have your guests raving about the quality of your special day or event.

Walhill Farm is beautiful, and they have so many different options for your ceremony and reception location so they’re sure to have just what you’re looking for. Michaela and her team are amazing! Everyone was so kind and helpful during the entire process, very quick to answer questions, and extremely helpful. Planning a wedding by yourself without a coordinator/planner is a lot but they really helped with their expertise. The value is great for the price, everything was gorgeous and all of our guests had an amazing time. If i I had to plan it again I wouldn’t pick a different venue. Also, the food was amazing!!

We had our daughter's wedding reception at Walhill Farm. We received numerous compliments on how beautiful the venue is as well as how outstanding the food was, especially the brisket, smoked chicken quarters, tossed salad/house dressing. Michaela and her team are laid back and very easy to work with; quick to respond to any questions and concerns. We also used the Bridal Suite to get ready and that was lovely. We used two of their rooms to sleep in the night of the reception and those were nice, clean and roomy. Would recommend this venue to family and friends. Glad we chose them and would do it again!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! I never imagined our day to be perfect but it was thanks to the amazing staff at Walhill! They came and checked on us so many time to make sure we had everything. They were so willing to help us and make our day exactly how we wanted. I loved the different options of ceremony cites! Our pictures turned out amazing because the venue is perfect. I can’t thank everyone that works their enough! Our biggest compliment from guest was that the food was the best wedding food they had ever had! I will always recommend Walhill Farm to anyone getting married!

We had our wedding reception at Walhill in August. What a dream! They made everything so easy! Michaela is amazing - so responsive and quick to help with anything, and she made planning a wedding during uncertain times so much easier! Willing to meet with us at anytime and help our vision come true, and made sure we had fun along the way. Our guests loved the food, the service was wonderful, and the barn itself is beautiful which made the decorating easy and fun. We couldn’t have asked for anything better!!

We cannot find the words to express how perfect Walhill is and was for our wedding! It's the perfect venue for a laid back country wedding or even a super fancy black tie event. We got married outside on the east side of the barn and had our reception inside. It was beautiful! Alyssa was amazing, helping us get everything finalized before the wedding. She answered any and all questions we had, and even answered questions we didn't even realize we had at the time. The food was absolutely to die for. We loved it, and our guests are still raving about it. The night of the wedding Jayson was the manager and he made sure everything went perfectly!! Everything about Walhill was absolutely amazing. Thank you Walhill Farm for such a special place to hold my reception. Elizabeth was the best. She took such good care of us and even ran out to get us food containers to store the leftovers. She was the ultimate professional and I am so thankful for all she and Walhill Farm did to make the reception so special. The food was delicious and I received so many comments about how good the food was. It was the best day ever.
