We had our wedding here March 23, 2023 and cannot say enough how perfect everything came together. It had been raining all the way up until our rehearsal the day before. Michele and Katie (our coordinator) made sure to update us throughout the week as we were all watching the weather. Although some of the grounds were wet, it didn't effect us at all! The sun came out for our ceremony and although the temperature dropped at night, there were heaters set out to keep everyone warm. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and the venue was so wonderfully decorated. If you're looking for a rustic theme, they have it all with beautiful wooden tables and chairs as well as wine barrels. Michele and Katie were very responsive and we appreciated their suggestions and guidance in areas we weren't familiar with.Almost all of our vendors came from their vendor recommended list and we couldn't be happier with all of their service.The catering staff was outstanding and we loved how they made sure that we got drinks and hors d'oeuvres even while we were taking pictures.Can't say enough about how amazing they are! Would highly recommend!

We just recently got married at Walnut Grove and we could not recommend a more beautiful place to celebrate this new chapter of life. Katie from Mia Bella weddings was our day of coordinator and she was AMAZING, Joe and his staff at command performance were phenomenal, and we received so many compliments about the ease and flow of the wedding, how beautiful the setting was, how delicious the food is, and just how great of a time all our guests had. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day or venue!

This venue is absolutely STUNNING at night. It was so much better than we had even hoped for. Michele was great, although my only complaint was that she took awhile to get back to me after booking the venue. It may be because this year had been crazy for weddings. We had actually used her wedding planning service and Stephanie was our wedding planner. Stephanie was beyond amazing! I highly recommend using their wedding planners. Overall this venue was absolutely perfect!

We were married here in August of 2019 and it was an absolute dream! Walnut Grove was beautiful, easy and the vendors were SO nice to work with. The day of everything was flawless. The greenery everywhere is so incredible, the venue is very private, I cannot recommend the Walnut Grove more.

It is private with a touch of rustic elegance. They provided a list of preferred vendors which helped us narrow down our options. The entire walnut grove team made us feel like royalty. Our coordinator Katie (Mia Bella Weddings & Events) was absolutely amazing. We met her at our initial venue meeting and requested her to be our day of coordinator. She followed through with everything we discussed and kept in touch with us months leading up to our wedding day. She was always available to help me with vendor questions & guided us with her expertise. Everything went so smoothly and because of that, we were able to enjoy our wedding day. Michelle (Mia Bella Weddings Owner) ran our rehearsal and was so sweet and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us make sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day.

What a beautiful, serene, private, special venue! I am a Wedding Planner/Coordinator and I was very honored to work a wedding at The Walnut Grove 6/29/19. When you start the drive off the highway you might wonder \"where am I going and what will it look like?\" What a gorgeous surprise awaits! WG has lovely pavers (laid flat, balanced, not uneven) throughout the reception area and the long ceremony aisle. It is handicap accessible with no stairs anywhere and a very small ramp into the restrooms. The Bride's room is on the small side but it is a perfect area to hang out before the ceremony. WG is the type of venue that is perfectly beautiful without the addition of a lot of flowers or decor but has plenty of areas to add your own personalization if you so choose. Their catering company did a spectacular job! Command Performance Catering staff was well trained, very friendly and worked fast and effortlessly. The food was phenomenal! Delicious choices for everyone and the buffet was well stocked so you weren't scraping the bottom of the chaffing dishes. The ceremony area is nestled in a grove of walnut trees and the chairs are set up on the grass. There were no issues with any bugs or mosquitos on a warm summer night. Michele Spring is a delight to work with. She answers her emails quickly and even called me while on vacation with her family! The owner of The Walnut Grove, Rick, was able to share some of the properties history with us and he loves his land and his farm that extends up the surrounding hillside. If you are looking for something special, look no further than The Walnut Grove! #llhweddings

After a long search of venues, saving up for the perfect one, and being engaged for almost a year, we were so thrilled when we stumbled upon Walnut Grove for our wedding venue. We were married 5/19/19 and we could not be happier with our selection. You are surrounded by beautiful walnut trees, a gorgeous ceremony site with an adorable bridal cottage for taking pictures with your girls, the day of. I am still amazed when looking through my pictures. As soon as I sent my inquiry online, Michele was so responsive. She sent me over all the details, so I knew exactly what to expect and scheduled a site tour. Even before making our final decision she was so patient with us and answered all of our questions. When we arrived for our site tour, we were warmly greeted by Katie with Mia Bella Weddings, who we also hired as our wedding coordinator, and could not be more satisfied with our decision. I don’t even know where to begin, words cannot describe how amazing Katie is, she is an absolute GEM! She really did set the bar so high. She is professional, communicative, organized, and so responsive (the list can go on). My family and friends are still raving about how amazing she handled everything from before the rehearsal to the day of the wedding. She went above and beyond! We had quite a few personal decorations and DIY items for her to manage on the day-of and she did it flawlessly. She captured our vision so well and took a huge weight off my shoulders. Katie truly managed everything from beginning to end and put so much care into our wedding. She was there for us every step of the way. I couldn’t imagine anyone else to coordinate our big day. She is an absolute perfection.I would highly recommend going with their vendor list, they all know the venue so well and are so detail oriented that it made my selection a breeze. Our wedding day was perfect because it was at Walnut Grove!It's naturally beautiful - we barely needed to decorate! With gorgeous walnut trees, a beautiful stone fireplace, and a spacious yet intimate reception area, Walnut Grove is absolutely wonderful in every way. Beyond the venue's beauty, it is also a well oiled machine! Michelle is so organized and helpful, I didn't have to worry about anything during the wedding. Whether she was keeping my grandmother's late arriving friends from walking down the aisle in front of me, or making sure we had enough time for dancing, Michelle was always a step ahead. So grateful for her and her hard working team!

Whether she was keeping my grandmother's late arriving friends from walking down the aisle in front of me, or making sure we had enough time for dancing, Michelle was always a step ahead. Wonderful venue hands down. It was a breath of fresh air with an amazing atmosphere. The venue was open to all vendors except catering. Command Performance went past my expectations because the food was mouth watering good. I did not like that on Saturdays there was an increase in the base fee and a charge per person on top of that. I spent more on the venue than the coordinator, decorations, and flowers put together. But all of it was worth it as it was the BEST night of my life. My husband and I would not change anything about that night. Thank you Walnut Grove for the magical night.

Brides, stop looking for your venue. Walnut Grove is it. I just had my wedding there this past Sunday 8/27/17 and it was absolutely perfect. Staff - Michele Spring and Jen Barr (Mia Bella Weddings DOC) were so sweet and wonderful to work with. Food - contracted with Command Performance Catering and better than any wedding food you've ever had. Location - beautiful grove of walnut trees for the ceremony just adjacent to the pretty reception area with fireplace. Cost - about $15K for 100 guests (with upgraded food package, BYOB saved us big, and venue fee) was more than reasonable and a better value than any other venue we looked at. Endless compliments about the venue and food from my guests. Use their preferred vendors too (Unique Florals and Frost It Cakery) - so easy to work with and awesome florals/cake respectively.

Walnut Grove was the perfect place for my husband and I to get married. We had the most perfect day thanks to all of the staff at Walnut Grove and Command Performance Catering. The venue is so beautiful that you barely need to decorate. Although it was a warm afternoon/evening, all of our guests continued to tell us how beautiful it was and how much they enjoyed the venue space. Everything went so smoothly and I can't wait to see all of my pictures from the big day!

Walnut Grove was the perfect place for my husband and I to get married. We had the most perfect day thanks to all of the staff at Walnut Grove and Command Performance Catering. The venue is so beautiful that you barely need to decorate. Very good venue! We had our wedding there a month ago. Location is beautiful and easy to get to. Only downsides are that the cut off time is 10pm and you have the option of their caterer. The people there are efficient and amazing to work with!

Walnut Grove was the perfect venue to host our wedding. From start to finish we knew we would be in good hands. Of course the one weekend when CA was expecting rain falls directly over our wedding weekend. Needless to say I was freaking out. WG did a wonderful job coordinating a tent without removing the ambiance of the venue itself. This is the perfect place if you are looking for an outside wedding, rustic feel and greenery all around! If I could do it all over again I would :)

Walnut Grove was the perfect venue to host our wedding. From start to finish we knew we would be in good hands. My husband and I had planned to get married in January, while he had a break from graduate school. I had searched far and wide for the perfect wedding venue: something that had an outdoor element, felt natural & a bit rustic, charming & beautiful, was reasonably priced... When we found Walnut Grove, which only does weddings April through October, we absolutely fell in love, and actually moved our date up to October so we could get married there! The site is absolutely gorgeous. The venue is tucked away behind the rustic and charming Underwood Family Farms [which in October, has a pumpkin patch. This was fun for family & friends the weekend of the wedding, though did create quite a bit of traffic getting into the lot, so plan accordingly :) Kim Kardashian was apparently visiting the farm the day of our wedding, so I'm sure that didn't help :) But the venue is tucked away, very peaceful, charming, rustic, yet well groomed, and naturally beautiful in a down-to-earth way. The ceremony can be held on the grass, conveniently adjacent to the reception area. There is a charming little bride's cabin for the girls to get ready in. Everyone associated with Walnut Grove was very pleasant & helpful to work with. It sometimes took a while to get responses to my emails, but I also know they are very busy & juggling a lot. We felt the venue was very reasonably priced, and generally very flexible and accommodating. Walnut Grove was the absolute perfect location for a day that we will never forget, and we are so grateful we found it!

Everyone associated with Walnut Grove was very pleasant & helpful to work with. It sometimes took a while to get responses to my emails, but I also know they are very busy & juggling a lot. We felt the venue was very reasonably priced, and generally very flexible and accommodating. Walnut Grove was the absolute perfect location for a day that we will never forget, and we are so grateful we found it!

My wedding was beautiful mostly due to this incredible venue. I didn't feel the need to overly decorate because the setting was just perfect. Everyone commented on how this was the most beautiful place they've ever been to for a wedding. The catering by Command Performance was some of the best wedding food I've ever had. I was so happy and satisfied with our day!

I cannot say enough about the Walnut Grove. Honestly, it's picture perfect in every way. As soon as my fiance (now husband) and I found, we knew without a doubt that this was where we wanted to get married. The place is stunning. The trees, the TREES! Everything about this place is magic if you're looking for an outdoor wedding location like we were. Especially if you live in the Los Angeles area where trees are not exactly running rampant. The outdoor dance floor, the sparkly lights, the perfect silence and privacy of the area. All-in-all, amazing. \r\rMichele Spring who manages the location is fantastic as well! She knows the property like the back of her hand and everything is kept up in perfect condition. I highly recommend hiring her as your day-of-coordinator as well. She made sure that everything happened exactly as I wanted that day. She is so sweet and friendly, easy to get a hold of, and will make sure your day goes off without a hitch! \r\rI cannot tell you how many people came up to us after our wedding to ask how we found such a gorgeous location. Everyone has gone on and on about what a lovely location it was and we couldn't agree with them more!\r\rAfter the wedding was over, my husband and I were so sad at the thought that we wouldn't be visiting the Grove on a regular basis like we had during our planning. We definitely will be visiting the nearby farm in the future just so we can stop by and visit the place! You will not be disappointed if you book this absolutely perfect spot.

We recently got married at Walnut Grove and we couldn't have chosen a more perfect place. When we first met with the venues coordinator, Michele Spring, we knew right away this was the place for us! The space is tucked away in the most romantic spot. It is such a popular venue, that when we went to choose a date, we only had 2 days for the entire year to choose from! It was completely booked! As soon as you see it, you will see why! It's so picturesque with all the land, walnut trees, and twinkle lights surrounding the space. Our pictures are absolutely stunning! So happy we chose Walnut Grove!

My wedding was amazing. I'll start with the the down side of Walnut Grove first-- you HAVE to have their vendor. I personally wanted an In N Out Truck or Wood Ranch...no, you have to have their partnered catering, Command Performance-- & they're expensive. But with money comes good quality. Everyone was raving about how awesome the BBQ buffet was. They also set up the tables, linen, etc & if you bring alcohol, they serve it for you-- NO CORKING/SERVING/BS FEE! which is awesome, since I know every other place you are looking requires such for the alcohol you yourself supply. Their service was impeccable & they really stayed out of the way. Super efficient.\r It came down to deciding between another venue & Walnut Grove. What made me choose this place was that you could really make it your own. It's all out doors & trees & beautiful-- the rest was up to you. I've seen pictures of it being made into a real sleek, chic set up; whereas mine was very vintage & old style. Michele is their spokesperson & really, really nice. She does take awhile to respond to emails, but she said their emailing services were in the middle of changing, so that could've been the problem. No complaints. My wedding was amazing & I'm glad I made a good decision.

So my husband, then fiance, actually found this venue that is a little piece of Heaven tucked away in Moorpark California. We were looking around everywhere for the perfect venue and nothing was working, until we stopped at Walnut Grove at Terra Rejada Ranch for a tour with Michele Spring. \r\rThe moment hit as soon as we got out of the car and saw the beautiful stone fire place, open seating space to compliment any and all of our creative ideas, Full service bathrooms that were not port-a-potty rentals, and nice shady walnut trees to keep everything during the wedding cool. Michele took the time to go over any and everything that is packaged together when you book the venue. We didn't feel pressured at all during the tour, but fell so in love with the venue we ended up booking it before the tour was over.\r\r The venue was put together perfectly for our event, bathrooms clean, landscaping clean and green, and parking perfectly organized. We were able to get the best catering around, Command Performance Catering, highly recommended and required by Walnut Grove. Plus the wedding coordinating services of Michele Spring herself for such an affordable price. She did everything and more.... and then some! \r\rIf your looking around at all the other venues in Southern California, then please stop, because this is the only venue that has everything you need to put on the best event perfectly catered for you. It had everything I was looking for; natural beauty, a non-corporate feel from the people running the location, a farm feel and as well as a fun laid-back vibe. On my wedding day I felt really taken care of so I had no worries, which was invaluable to me because I was able to fully enjoy the whole day. The location's natural beauty had all my guests in awe.

We had an absolutely perfect, peaceful, beautiful rustic styled wedding (I attribute most of it to the venue itself). The wedding was in early May, so it was a little cold since everything is outdoors. However, all my guests absolutely loved the environment and the venue. The venue also comes with beautiful strung up lights and flowers in the reception area that was one of the things my guests liked the most. The lights and flowers from the site saved me money from having to get my own. I just decorated minimally. The site coordinator and the owner of the site were wonderful to work with and very flexible and helpful. I absolutely loved the catering company (Command Performance) that Walnut Grove works with. The food was so delicious and the catering manager is absolutely awesome, helpful, and flexible.
