Overlooking the Bush River, just 15 minutes north of White Marsh in Harford County, Water's Edge Events Center features two gorgeous waterfront venues featuring panoramic views, an outdoor ceremony space with an up to 300-person ballroom and an up to120-person "River Watch" industrial chic event space both with unique spaces for timeless photos. Our sales team are industry experts who make it their mission to bring your dream wedding to life. We’ll work with you to ensure everything is to you and your loved one’s liking. Our in-house catering team is led by award-winning chef Manny Martinez. While we offer fixed menus and pricing per person, we are happy to work with you to make your special day unique to your palate.

We had so many compliments on how beautiful the scenery is and how fantastic the food was. Normally when I think of wedding food it sounds great but in actuality it doesn't take spectacular. Water's Edge really does a spectacular job. The beef tenderloin is by far the crowd favorite. I cannot say how much we appreciate having the bridal attendant on the day of. They were constantly there making sure we did not need anything and trying to get anything we asked for taking care of. They are such a flexible venue and able to help or arrange for almost any request we came up with. They are open to any ideas and willing to help figure out how to make it happen.We did have a lot of change over in staffing contacts which was stressful but they handled it very well and remet with us to ensure they were on the right page. We highly recommend this to be your wedding venue!

Choosing Waters Edge was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. They were absolutely amazing to work with. My mom and I had worked with Paul and Sierra and let me tell you they were amazing. Sierra had countless meetings with my mom and I just because we are plan freaks and wanted to go over everything and she helped us so much along the way. Come the day of, Sierra and Paul made sure everything was how I imaged it and more. They made sure the day ran smoothly and continued to make sure my husband and I, our families, and bridal party were okay. And the food... oh don't get me started on it...ITS PHENOMENAL. I did not have one complaint from a guest. We got the steak and cake and I swear I could have had another plate. It was amazing. All and all I have nothing bad to say about Waters Edge. The day could not have been more perfect.

I will say that in the months leading up to the wedding, communication was frustrating. There were times when it was hard to reach anyone. There was a lot of back and forth, and we were notified of changes after something different had been agreed upon. HOWEVER, despite all of that, our wedding was everything I dreamed of and more. Sierra was our day of contact, and she was amazing. She was super attentive, and was somehow always there making sure everything was taken care of. Our wedding was entirely planned from across the country, so to have a full service venue like WEEC was super important. The venue is stunning, and I could not have asked for a better backdrop for our photos. In the weeks since the wedding, I have heard nothing but praise from guests about how beautiful everything was there. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. We somehow even managed to get to eat our dinner

Water's Edge was my wedding venue this past summer, and it was a wonderful, stress-free experience from start to finish. The event coordinator was so helpful and made the planning a breeze. They followed up when needed to ensure everything was on track. They were so accommodating down to the smallest detail in order to make our day special and personalized to us. Chef Manny's food is delicious with such a large variety of options. We had several guests with food allergies and several that were vegans and vegetarians. Chef Manny made special, full meals for them that were absolutely amazing. We received so many compliments on the food from our guests, especially those with special diets. During the rehearsal, they showed their expertise by effortlessly instructing our large party through the technicalities of the wedding. They arranged for us to leave our decorations at the venue so we didn't have to worry about them the morning of the wedding. Throughout the wedding, the entire staff was professional and the coordinator kept our timeline on track. They worked with our musicians and DJ to make the transitions from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the dinner and reception seamless. They made everything so easy from start to finish, taking care of details and having back up plans for everything from bad weather to table numbers to cake utensils. The grounds of Water's Edge are lovely. It was exactly what I wanted: to get married by the water next to gardens, flowers, and trees. Our pictures are absolutely beautiful. They brought out corn hole and had a fire pit available if we wanted to use them which was a nice addition to our reception. The colors and decorations inside the events center are elegant and beautiful, making it incredibly versatile to accommodate all different styles and themes. The whole experience was fantastic. My husband and I along with our families were thrilled with Water's Edge. We cannot recommend it highly enough as an event and wedding venue.

Water's Edge was a perfect venue for us! Abby took care of us every step of the way, ensuring that no detail was overlooked. From the incredible location on the river to the stunning interior of the building, Water's Edge is a dream. My only wish is that we had more time to enjoy it! The food is fabulous, and the staff is world-class. I'm so grateful for every second that we spent here, and I feel now more than ever that every dollar we spent was more than worth it (and it wasn't too bad, all things considered!). I would recommend this venue to anyone, but it truly recommends itself. The pictures say a thousand words, but it's even better in person. I promise, you won't regret having your big day at Water's Edge.

If I could give this venue more stars I would! My husband and I just got married there on June 24th. The entire wedding planning process and wedding day were a breeze thanks to Annie Caporelli and Jen Grady. They and the entire staff were amazing through all steps of the process and made it an enjoyable process for my husband and our families. The entire wedding planning process and wedding day were a breeze thanks to Annie Caporelli and Jen Grady. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Waters Edge. I feel like there are few brides who can say their wedding day was 100% perfect, yet I am so lucky to say that mine was one of the few and I know our venue was a huge part in that. Throughout the process they were good about getting back to us with our questions (we had a million!) and they kept getting better as we got closer to the big day. When we met Jen who was our day of coordinator, I knew we were in amazing hands. She handled our requests with zero trouble and made the last few weeks stress free! On my wedding day, the second I stepped through the doors, she was there to let me know that everything was good to go, We arrived 2 hours before our ceremony start time (which I highly recommend!) and when I walked through the doors I instantly had tears in my eyes. Everything was PERFECT and seeing how well they had everything set up made my day completely stress free. Then we met Cierra. Let me tell you - if you have the pleasure of having her as your day of \"go to\" person for your bridal party, you will FALL IN LOVE with her. Cierra was glued to us (in a good way) the entire day. She would bring us drinks before we even got close to finishing the one we had, she brought trays of food to my whole family while we were doing pictures, and even brought my husband and I drinks and a whole plate of the Bata Bang Shrimp (which are TO DIE FOR by the way) out on the pier for us to eat while we were taking pictures of just us. I know that 99.9% of the reason I was able to eat, drink, dance, and relax at my wedding was due to her and I will be forever grateful to Cierra! My guests raved about the venue, the view, and the food (we did herb chicken and braised short rib with mashed potatoes - excellent!) We had an inside ceremony with 100 guests and they made the room beautiful. I can not recommend Waters Edge enough!

Cathy and the staff were amazing, the food and venue were complimented on for days after the wedding by our friends and family. They raved about how beautiful the venue was, the food and appetizers were absolutely delicious the cheese and fruit display were picture perfect they had never seen anything like it, the staff was on time with all food and beverage. I can tell you Cathy and Jenn were on hand at all times to make sure everything went smooth and on time, ceremony was to start at 7:00 p.m. and my daughter realized she forgot the wedding shoes and marriage certificate at 6:10 p.m. at home in Colora, MD luckily her neighbor had not left to come the the wedding, she literally got to the venue minutes before the wedding was to take place and Cathy and Jenn were right there to spring into action to get the shoes to my daughter and get us downstairs on time, they were right there at all times and always asking what could they do to help as my daughter was upset and worried the entire time before waiting for her shoes to arrive. Our wedding was August 8th and I have nothing but good words to say about the venue we chose. As soon as I entered into Water's Edge I fell in love! We had such an amazing time, Cheri and the staff were so helpful with every aspect. The food was so melt in your mouth good and we have heard nothing but great compliments from our guests about the food, drinks and the atmosphere. I would do it all over again if I could!!! Thank you for making this special day go off with a breeze!!!!

We had such an amazing time, Cheri and the staff were so helpful with every aspect. Everything in this place is beautiful - the bathrooms, main lobby, bridal suite, ballroom, the pier, etc. I was looking for a modernized venue that was suitable for both the ceremony and reception. The pricing is pretty average for the cost of a wedding. The room rental fee was under $2000 (it depends how many rooms you need). They offer various options for food and drinks to fit your budget. The food was delicious! The event staff reached out to me numerous times to invite me for meetings to go over everything, which was reassuring (especially within the last couple months). \rI would recommend this gorgeous venue to any bride-to-be.

110% AMAZING. If I could do it all over again I would do it again at Water's Edge. We had a perfect day and perfect weather. So many people complimented the venue, the food was AMAZING. We did crab cakes and beef tenderloin, you could cut the tenderloin with a fork it was so tender. Absolutely beautiful venue. The staff was amazing and on top of everything the entire day. They did a great job of taking charge and easing all of my stress and fears. Great local venue for Harford County Residents or anyone else who wants to travel in. Several hotels located nearby.

The Water's Edge Event Center was the perfect backdrop for my August Wedding. My guests raved about the food! They loved the outdoor ceremony by the \"Water's Edge\". I highly recommend this venue for those that want an outdoor ceremony in a modern ballroom with bay windows. I am so happy I found this place on the Knot, they made my wedding day spectacular!

This venue is not only beautiful but organized and managed extremely well. The banquet room overlooks the outside pier and where our ceremony was performed. Aside from the venue being gorgeous the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a venue on the water I would highly suggest looking into Waters Edge Event Center. It is a few miles down the road from close hotels and near all major high ways in the area.

Beechtree Catering was the site of our wedding reception. They were a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. They followed all of our very detailed instructions for how we wanted the place to look. We were able to add a lot of personal touches to really make it our day.\r\rThe food was excellent! We did a buffet for the cocktail hour followed by a sit down dinner. Everything was prepared and displayed wonderfully. It was way beyond what you would typically find at a wedding. \r\rCathy and John were both very helpful and accommodating. They always responded to email and phone messages promptly. It was great planning our reception with them!

When we first visited Beechtree my husband and I knew that is was perfect for us. It was a beautiful location as it use to be a golf coarse, the food sounded delicious and the price was reasonable. We were told that the land had been sold to developers and that in 3-5 years there would be contruction, but for our wedding and 2 years after it would not be as well manicured as a goldcourse, but would still look natural with the trees and wild grass in the background. \rHowever, when we showed up the day before our wedding to drop off the favors and decorations for the wedding the entire backyard looked like a construction site filled with large pipes and dirt/mudd. Needless to say we were both very upset as that was where we planned on having the majority of our pictures taken.\rHowever, on our wedding day the staff and the food were absolutely fantastic! We were able to take most of our pictures at the church as it backed up to woods and most of our guests did not spend much time outside anyway. So the day turned out to be wonderfull!

My husband and I got married on the Chesapeake Bay this summer (2010) and after doing taste tests with a few caterers/restaurants decided on Beechtree due to their delicious food they let us taste and their professional and friendly staff. \r\rThe week before the wedding we met with our Beechtree contact and were very pleased with his helpfulness and excellent expert suggestions to make our food offering even better. We planned the wedding from out of town and Beechtree was also quite responsive via email to any questions we had throughout the process.\r\rOn the wedding day we were delighted with ALL of their services--the bartender, the food, the dessert, the staff, EVERYTHING was top notch and tasted beyond excellent! I would truely recommend them to any bride-to-be in the Harford County area, hands down they are the best this area has to offer!\r\rAlso, we had a buffet-style dinner and an outdoor wedding at a location where they had never catered before, yet everything was still excellent and the taste of the food was as if it has just come out of the kitchen (something you usually don't expect from buffet-style catered food)! We had two meat selections (steak and salmon) which were grilled on-site which of course made the quality/taste even better.\r\rAnother thing we loved about Beechtree is that a dessert was included in the meal--in our case it was pumpkin creme brulee--which was to die for!
