Nestled in the Champlain Mill on the Winooski River in VT, Waterworks Food + Drink is a historic setting offering a unique event experience with spectacular waterside vistas. With over 5,000 square feet, our industrial setting is the perfect location to make any wedding or occasion memorable. We have an upbeat, fun approach with a focus on the guest experience and genuine hospitality. We will work with you to design your event with the budget and aesthetic you envision. With different rooms and a unique layout, our space allows for many other options for receptions of just about any size without renting additional furniture or a tent. We can accommodate events and weddings of up to 75 in our private events space, and guest counts from 75 - 200 with a full restaurant buyout. Couples can choose from three locations for their ceremony: the Patio, the Solarium, or the River House. The River House boasts an inviting interior adorned with modern design elements, warm wooden tones, and red brick accents. The tall ceilings throughout Waterworks' spaces are elegantly finished with wood paneling and stylish industrial-minimalist chandeliers. Abundant natural light fills the area, thanks to large windows lining the walls. The wooden flooring is a perfect dance floor, and the space can comfortably accommodate up to 75 guests for cocktails and dinner while leaving ample room for dancing. We truly cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding at Waterworks. The venue was so beautiful and perfect for our event. Our ceremony was on the patio, and the reception was in the River House event space, where the combination of exposed brick and beautiful natural light lent an elegance to the whole event that we really loved. The food was INCREDIBLE as well- we were thrilled, as were our guests. This set the stage for a fantastic wedding - and then the staff at Waterworks just put it over the top. Lindsay was a tremendous event planner for us. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from start to finish. We couldn’t have made this happen without her, and she made our vision come true. She worked so hard and was such a lovely person - we were so lucky! Sarah was also extremely helpful for our event. David, the owner, was so accommodating, thoughtful and kind, and really made us feel special and at home. James, who supported my husband and I throughout our whole wedding day was incredible and truly the sweetest person. Lucia also made sure that we always had everything we needed. There were so many wonderful staff throughout the wedding day, too - all of our guests commented on how helpful, kind, and attentive everyone from Waterworks was. And they had the best time - everyone said it was the best wedding ever! Literally everyone we worked with was great!! They still make us feel special whenever we go back for dinner. I cannot imagine a more perfect wedding, and highly recommend this venue, you won’t be disappointed. Book it now! 10 out of 10 and more. Thank you Waterworks!!

Waterworks was the perfect setting for our big day. We had a medium sized wedding ( ~60-70 guests) and their new River Room was perfect for the reception and the late night dancing. We were able to have our ceremony along the Winooski River which made for amazing photos.The staff was incredible. Ben went above and beyond to make the day run smoothly and create the perfect setting for all of our guests. We had multiple people comment on the food and drink being amongst the best they'd had at a wedding. I couldn't recommend Waterworks enough as a place that really brings it all for a wedding (great vibes, great food and drink, great staff).

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Waterworks and it was an absolute dream come true. The planning process was seamless despite living out of state - Sarah and Maria were both very helpful. My husband and I are both pretty type-A and had a LOT of requests, and the Waterworks staff happily helped with everything! We found it to be the perfect balance of having everything you need for a reception built in, while still having the flexibility to really make it your own. The chef was amazing and went out of his way with tastings to make sure we were happy with our choices. The space is stunning and our guests were raving about the food, the cocktails/beer list, the music (thank you DJ Craig!), and the ambiance. The new heated patio is an excellent addition and the location is just minutes from Burlington so very convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better day! THANK YOU!!!

We can’t thank Waterworks enough for how truly amazing our wedding day was! Sarah and the team went above and beyond to make our wedding spectacular! We live in Brooklyn and were planning our wedding long distance, which can be very stressful, but Sarah made it so much easier! She always made herself available for calls and was quick to reply on emails. She was so accommodating, and made everything happen, even our last minute requests! Everything was literally perfect! Our Waterworks wedding was truly a dream come true!

Sarah + Maria, I owe you a real thank-you card, but before too late I just want to thank you both so so much for everything you and your staff did to make our wedding such an incredible (and seriously seamless) blast. I honestly never thought it would be \"the best day of my life\" but it really, truly was. You both put me (and Dan) at ease and Waterworks has received raving reviews from all of our guests. Waterworks will forever be in our hearts!
