This place is absolutely GORGEOUS! Honestly, online pictures don't do it justice. And the new outdoor area is beautiful. The venue owners are very nice and have great communication. They have a list of recommended vendors, but you can bring your own in. They even have little cabins on the property you can rent. I can't even begin to describe how happy we were with this venue, and I can't give it enough stars!!!

This venue was PERFECT. We could not have been happier with how easy it was to plan, organize, and decorate at this venue. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the entire process to make sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable in the space. Having rooms upstairs to get ready meant we could spend the entire day in one place, which allowed us to slow down and savor our day more than usual. I would absolutely recommend to my friends.

This venue was PERFECT. We could not have been happier with how easy it was to plan, organize, and decorate at this venue. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the entire process to make sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable in the space. Weathered Wisdom Barn was the first venue we went to and it was the only one that I wanted after visiting. are still talking about our venue. I loved how we had the option to stay Fri-Sun so that things didn't feel so rushed and stressful the day of the wedding. Both of the owners were super helpful with recommendations This Barn is absolutely beautiful and the story behind it is too. We got married on May 11th 2019 and people for vendors and they helped with anything we were unsure of. We live in Kansas City and we chose this venue over anything close to us. We loved this venue and they deserve 5 Stars.

Weathered Wisdom is a spectacular venue that I have been fortunate enough to visit twice. As a guest I was blown away by the simplistic beauty and rustic charm. As a coordinator I love the extensive decor options, convenient drive just a bit north of Springfield, and how thrilled my bride was with her choice! It is clear how much thoughtfulness the owners have put in to not only the venue but their business as a whole. I hope to return again soon!

Tamara is ALWAYS available for questions, comments, concerns. She was willing to help with anything we needed. The barn is so beautiful, and it didn’t really need much decorating, but there is plenty of leftover decorations from prior brides that are free to use on your big day! I would definitely recommend this venue, and I would choose the barn over and over if given the chance!

I absolutely love Weathered Wisdom. We are local in the area so of course we chose something close to home. But, even if we hadn't been from here, I wouldn't have gotten married anywhere else! It's so amazingly gorgeous there. Tamra and Chris are great, they are always around if you need help or have any issues at all. It was perfect to accommodate our guest list of 150 and still had plenty of room for more. If you are looking for a rustic setting in the perfect quiet country location, this is definitely the place to do it!

I absolutely love Weathered Wisdom. We are local in the area so of course we chose something close to home. But, even if we hadn't been from here, I wouldn't have gotten married anywhere else! It's so amazingly gorgeous there. Tamra and Chris are great, they are always around if you need help or have any issues at all. I had been searching endlessly for a rustic barn that met all of my very strict qualifications. My bridesmaid found Weathered Wisdom Barn on Facebook and after looking at the pictures I was hooked! As beautiful as the pictures are, they simply cannot do the barn justice! When I visited the barn for the first time, I was in awe of the beautiful building, setting, and decorations. As a bride, I never worried about decorations! They have a ton of leftover decorations from previous weddings you can use! Mr. and Mrs. Wisdom are very easy to work with and will do everything they can to make your event exactly the way you’ve envisioned. Mrs. Wisdom (Tamara) was also very helpful in finding churches, hotels, hair salons and other necessary vendors near Preston, MO since I was unfamiliar with the area. We were married on August 23rd, 2014. Our unmarried friends told us we set the bar really high for any future weddings!

This place is gorgeous! I fell in love with just the pictures but actually seeing it in person made my decision a yes, 100%. \rThe family who owns it are so down to earth & genuine, they want the best for every single person that even has a simple question. They were there through the entire experience. The Barn is like no other place around, it's so unique & the perfect size for a small or big event. \rI had my wedding March 1st, 2014 & it was an absolute dream come true! I just recently got married at the Weathered Wisdom Barn on July 26, 2014 and it was truly the most perfect day. To make a long story short, I had a year long engagement and 6 months into it we had to switch venues. We are from the KC area and were not having luck around KC. I decided to venture out further and went to visit this barn and absolutely fell in love the moment I walked in. It is captivating and so special, words really don't do it justice. Not only is the venue amazing, so is the price and the owners! I would highly recommend this venue to every bride!

It was breathtaking, the atmosphere, the small details that the owners have made sure that everywhere you look is romantic and speaks of Love. The Kitchen, is a large families delight. Bathrooms, which there are plenty to accommodate the amount of guest that attended, the front porch, the Bride's room, Groom's room and the windows that they were married in front of is a lifetime of memories. I would believe anyone that is thinking of getting married would want to check out this beautiful venue, it is so much more than a barn. It is a beginning for a couple in love. This barn Is so beautiful and made our day so special. All of our guest commented that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. With the natural beauty of this venue your decorations can be minimal and still have a lavish looking wedding. The owners are so kind and helpful through the entire process. You really could not ask for more beautiful venue with little need for decorations. Not to mention the kitchen is a caterers dream! This venue is worth every dollar!

We got married at the barn in August 2014. The owners were wonderful from the very beginning. Any question I had I just emailed them and it was answered promptly. Every time we visited the barn it was always very clean and kept up. During our rehearsal day, the owners were around to help and accommodate our every need. After our wedding, they cleaned up everything! Our wedding day was better than I could have ever asked!

I highly recommend Weathered Wisdom Barn!! Pictures do not do this place justice. Very affordable and the Wisdom's are amazing people to work with! Probably one of the most genuine couples I have ever met. Trust me, you will not be dissatisfied in the slightest!!
